This is my gift to myself :) I drew my favorite guys ever.

For a while I've been itching to draw the wedding outfits from this post again. I made them up on the fly as I was drawing, but I actually really like how they ended up turning out. They're super cute!! (though, yet again, you can't see almost any part of Dedede's outfit... 💔)

But then I couldn't get it out of my head to make a companion piece for it, with their mirror versions. And so. I did. What they have going on is a little bit messy, though...

The facial acting of these two is soooo good. Their "let's work together to catch Kira" handshakes, except one is Light with his memories of being Kira (on the left) and the other is him without (on the right).

There's a silent declaration of war going on between the two on the left. L is grinning. Light's smile doesn't reach his eyes. An unspoken "I know you know that I know" passes between the two of them.

On the left, that undertone of animosity is gone. Light's expression is genuine, and L can clearly tell. L is searching Light's eyes for Kira. He's not smug anymore because he can't find him.

It's the exact same scene shot-for-shot and yet it's totally different in almost every other way.

How it feels to watch minecraft diaries as a 21 year old woman

I'm bored and wanna talk, so let me ask a question: what's a show/movie/book/comic/game etc that really fascinated you? Spoiler talk is welcome here (as long as you give a warning for those who don't want them)

I'll start! A few days ago I watched the Truman show for the first time and I thought it was amazingly done! The "enemy faction" felt more suffocating than any other group I've seen a mc have to go against, and they're just a group of actors and a film crew! The fact that this has been Trumans whole life is so disturbing looking at it now, during the age of family vloggers where children grow up as microcelebrities with no personal space or ability to stop the filming until they're old enough to leave their home. So overall, very good film, very disturbing and effective and I would love to revisit it sometime in the future

Appreciation post for 'girly girl' characters and/or shows that celebrate traditionally feminine things that girls and women are shamed for.

Characters on this list that love makeup, fashion, hair, etc. Characters that are still written as strong, intelligent, brave, etc. That told young girls that these interests are valid, they are not lesser interests. Being feminine and liking traditionally feminine things does not make them weak.

Welp. I came home sick from work because my cough is worse today and a little lower in my chest. Wearing a mask gave me some humidity to breathe, and that helped a bit, but I took it off when I got home and now I'm coughing again. I'm going to take a hot bath and breathe in the humidity for a while.

well boss said reese has no indication of any uti or crystals only a tiny amount of red blood cells which can be caused by the manual expression. coworker insisted there was no point in taking rads to see if he's blocked from the string so going to try some laxaire and hope 😬🤞🏻also then my boss gave me a ride to the bus stop so i didn't have to carry the huge crate which was uncharacteristically nice of him 🤨
