Adolphes scenes were so soft❤️❤️*spoilers below*

I had to slow down with Le Salut because I was busy, but I just finished it yesterday morning... I legit cried for Ankou.

I was able to figure out everything but Ankou's connection to Adolphe; it was the one thing I couldn't fully decipher. I think the main reason I couldn't figure out his relation to Adolphe was because I honestly did not want there to be a relation. I thought Le Salut was gonna be a 2for1 special, a bogo, or even a pick one guy upset the other sort of thing 😔

I feel kinda bad, I honestly liked Adolphe more prior to his route (maybe bc they used the word brother too much for me) 😅 And even as Ankou's mystique died and we learned who he was, I still preferred him more because at least I was able to see him as a man since day one. His different appearance, VA, and slightly busted mental state is enough for me to see him as a whole new person despite technically being Adolphe.

Despite my personal disappointment of losing the one I truly wanted, I do like the happy endings everyone got! Even Jean, which is surprising for me bc I hated him

There are a thousand different things i want to talk about in just my first route playthrough of epic:lycoris BUT can i just say right now what a well written INFP Ceres is.

(an analysis by a fellow INFP)

Major spoilers for Scien's Encore route - the woman loved by God ending

Her ability to adapt emotionally to the circumstances. She accepts her fate easily, listening carefully to Scien's plans about using her: she puts her feelings aside because she trusts his genius. She's more than able to understanding the depth of the situation and to prioritize the logic, and she's quick to find a personal reason to listen to tie to that logic: for the sake of the people she loves, her death will have reason. She readily sacrifices herself. And because she feels at peace with that fate, she's able to smile. She feels thankful towards the God-like man who will give her life (and her death) such big meaning (something infps long for). Because if she tries to escape, she would either be captured by someone who is after personal gain, or Mother and Yves and the others will be at a serious risk trying to save her - for what? So she can bring more death to everyone who comes near her, until she finds her own end? She knows she'll leave them devastated with the fate she accepted, but the ultimate goal outweighs it easily, again in the name of these same people she holds close. And she believes in her resolve so strongly that it becomes her happiness, that's why she seems like she's romanticising her last days. That's why she's doing little favors for Scien, taking care of him (acts of service typical for infp), because she holds a great gratefulness towards him, but also because she wants to return the good feelings he unintentionally made her experience. That's why she can wholeheartedly say it out loud in her last moments, "I love you, Scien! Please use me!" (The verbal expression being something infps place a great importance in, she saves it for the critical moment)

She also accepts that he could never return those feelings - she's undoubtedly smart enough to understand how unrealistic that would be, but she doesn't need him to reciprocate either - this is another infp trait: It's not uncommon for INFPs to hold onto crushes without any expectations for the future. For them it's more important how they themselves feel about it. Most people hate the difficult processing of feelings that comes with having a crush on someone who might not love you back, but INFPs actually don't mind being ruled by those emotions. They like living it out in their own head (typically lost in fantasies), seeing the effects it takes on them, like becoming more energetic, creative, attentive. For them love is a positive emotion no matter unrequited or not. That's why Ceres finds strength in her love for Scien.
