My Reply to Stop The Hate 2.0

Okay so I know I prompted to stay quiet about this one anti/RWDER but you know what screw it. When I saw what they were posting yes it left me a bit disturbed, but also the fact that he was liking some incredibly wild shit. But one post caught my attention the most and it was and I quote: "Stop The Hate 2.0." So I took a read at it and little to know surprise in the words of Genji from Overwatch.... I'm not impressed. and surprisingly this person needs no introduction I'll just get right into the nitty gritty of this poor individual who has entered the Thunderdome. papitimefire177.

Before I continue with this, I just want to immediately say this: Please for the love of god and all things holy. DO NOT WITCHHUNT Do not send any anon hate just do what I did. Block and Move On. Anywho lets get into it.

This individual here first off says things such as calling people who criticize Jaune (ala Jaune Haters) as fucking stupid and categorizes them all as he quotes: Fucking Morons and how we bitch about "made up stuff that is not true."

Okay, first things first is Jaune has basically stolen a lot of screentime from RWBY. How much? Over around 5,489 Hours of Screentime. Which is one hour thirty-one minutes and twenty-nine seconds (Counting from Volumes 1-6) And oh do please use this chart here. Special thank you to Emotional-Feed 5489 on the r/RWBYCritics subreddit for going through hell and back to get these results.

Further note- This is only going from Volumes 1-6, Seven is not included since he did not get any screentime until Volume's Eight and Nine.

Secondly, Jaune really began to grind my gears when Volume six had to reinforce the fact that Pyrhha is gone. Okay. We get it already Pyrrha is dead and Jaune is literally mourning her still. At this point lets just get it over and done with and move on. Yes, I am fully aware that Pyrrha's death has lingered heavily for him but at the same time it does not take you three entire volumes to take a deep breath in and a deep breath out to carry on.

What really set me off was in Volume nine after, Ruby who had one of if not the MOST SATISFYING mental breakdown scenes and calling out her teammates (Especially Yang) for being horrendous teammates when throughout that whole volume Ruby was going through the shitter, only for Jaune to steal it all the way cause "I suffered more than you have."

Yes Jaune as if you have the whole world on your shoulders? Like dude grow the fuck up. Because you are also talking to someone who is fifteen years old (once again this could be the case of time goes forward but the characters don't age trope.)

Then right after Ruby literally "Ascends" by drinking the tea. It's time for more Jaune angst cause he's going through it more than Ruby did?! It took Weiss, Yang, and Blake almost the entire volume to care about Ruby but it took them just a few minutes in an episode to hug Jaune for his "angst" fuck that.

Now moving on. Of course lots of people do write him out of their stories but some people do keep him only for him to have atleast one or two arcs depending on the writer of course and have him die or keep him around to develop him better than what RT's writers could do. Once more his historical allusion is to the legendary female knight Joan of Arc and I have spoken with a few friends of mine who did have plans for their RWBY Re:Write to have him transition into a woman to better fit the allusion and have him die a hero.

Gee it's not like I have MADE A POST ABOUT THIS.

Also furthermore I did do some research trying to find that "Jaune Arcless" video paptimefire177 talked about in their Stop The Hate 2.0 message. Instead I didnt find jack diddly shit at all. So I can only assume they pulled that out of their ass to try and get their point across as they go on to say that Who wants that because Removing Jaune is fucking stupid.

Which as my counterpoint. Lots of people do want Jaune to be out of the picture whether if relegated to side-character status for him to not be so damn annoying where he wont step in whenever characters like Oscar for example who in Volume 6 got a wardrobe change and some development only for it to be stolen away for a fucking statue sequence.

Or how at the end of Volume eight he could have healed up Penny and got her across the gate to Atlas so that way she could also have the relic with her. Nope lets have him kill her so he can have angst in Volume nine!

And lastly he goes off on a rant stating how Jaune Haters are pathetic along with the hate for Jaune and stating how people who hate Jaune need to wear diapers and go back to the basement we have come from.

Okay Papi. since you wanna ball. We're gonna ball. You are the pathetic one seriously do you really think people are going to follow you? You who have used ableist language against someone calling them a slur in DM's no less. Want proof?

inch resting that lena said there were both benevolent and malevolent powers now and didnt allude to any Entities being in control (she said that the oiar was "managing" the bad guys which suggests there's either no higher power that she she's aware of, or that the higher powers control the oiar somehow). i mean obviously thats not the full story, and her version of events is probably pretty faulty knowing magnus, but it does sorta seem like these guys are running around unchecked. so maybe instead of an overarching forces deal like we had in tma, the cases are more separate.

anyway i think it's not quite to do with devotion or obsession or love and more to do with belief, or like, how many people you've made an impression on. how strong of an Idea you are. something something scp cognito hazards. inksoul and mr bonzo and violince guy had their fans (and god knows where that violin had been before he got his hands on it). the most recent dude had complete faith in the betting (?) app and im sure many other people did too. needles obviously got strength from people being afraid of him. the volunteers had their "great cause". all this i think has Implications for sam's new obsession with the magnus institute too but thats not what im talking about rn

it's also possible that this malevolent/benevolent split is totally arbitrary human categorization. we'll probably have to meet some of the Good Guys before we really start getting to know whats going on, but thats probably a ways off yet cause of the nature of the oiar, as revealed by lena last episode. they just wont be showing up in reports, thats not what the system's for. some of them kinda toe the line, like the dice, but i dont think we've met any Good Guys yet. maybe they'll show up and fix things in one of the reports or maybe they'll bust down the door to the oiar or someone will run into one in the outside world like how sasha met the distortion or maybe colin will fuck with the system so much it starts reading reports of chill people who cause flowers to bloom around them or who always have a pen if you need one or whatever. maybe the heavily tattooed person from episode 11 will turn out to be a good guy idk ive not checked out the arg i could have embarrassed myself so bad so many times this post. either way if im right that means that santa's probably real in this universe. also every religion simultaneously

do you have a color wheel divided up into your base colors for reference or do you just decide for each when you see it? have you ever come across something that you werent sure how to categorize? is gray necessarily 0 saturation or is there a little bit of leeway (like, a very very very light blue)? on that note, does pink correspond to a light red, or a magenta? (if the former, do you have a saturation requirement?)

apologies if any of this is repeated but i went through your asks and didnt see anything like this. also i know this is making it more serious than it is but i like linguistics and color terminology is fascinating to me. youre a data point :)

i decide each color on the spot. could i have made a more accurate way? maybe, but its funny to act like i have the word of God here when it comes to colors.

i come across something i cant quite label almost all the time, it's much more common than you'd think. i just try and go for whichever color i believe it leans most towards

theres a little bit of grace for what is considered gray. if it would be recognized as gray (or rather wouldn't be recognized as its actual color) at a glance, i consider it gray. though this is rarely even applicable because gray is the most common color in my images, considering it counts all possible shades on the grayscale spectrum including black and white. if it can be easily or even semi-easily recognized as another color, it's not gray in my book. while im here, did you know i consider gray and grey to be different things? its not very applicable to this blog, just some interesting trivia on myself. gray is lighter shades and grey is darker

pink is more like magenta, but it's also just on a case by case basis? some light reds count as pinks, some are distinguishable enough as red to where i don't count them. if you wanted more info on this, you'd just have to send me different colors and see i guess

idk if its a favorite but im like. rly fond of "hello doctor, it's me again. i missed you." bc its the fic i probably put the most effort in. longest and multi chapters and like. id started writing it two years prior to when i finished it and id written like. a chapter and a half on paper during breaks in college and never did anything with it. and two years later when i was sorting my stuff i had these papers and wanted to throw them away so i was like ill type this out on puter at least before that. and then i ended up motivating myself to finish it and i was rly proud of it... oj is still rly sad it didnt get that much attention in the end.

Hey, I don't know if anyone's mentioned this to you before, but I just wanted to say making Vera's color scheme pink (with black) totally makes her super recognizable and iconic, you know? It's a genius character design choice to me because in all of Resident Evil, there's no other character that's "pink," so she really stands out in a fresh way. It's like you filled a gap we didn't even realize was there. Plus, she's got that whole tech vibe going on, which is so cool because she stands out from all the scientists and badass fighters dealing with bioterrorism. I just think she's awesome and the thought put into her design is top-notch! I miss her sm I hope you update soon <3

I was extremely particular about making her "recognizable" as you say, like memorable. Because good god RE has so many good female characters who are so unique, and color-coded somehow, honest to god I was like "WHAT IS LEFT IN THIS UNIVERSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A DISTINCTIVE OC WHAT AM I GONNA DO"

----- like, I had a friend who knows extremely early drafts of her, and embarrassingly she was a corrupt, snobby, scope-hungry journalist redhead who wore red and dressed like veronica lodge from riverdale 🙃🤐

and then she was korean for a while (this fell after i discovered ashiemochi's so-ah). and then turkish. and then the turkish journalist thing fell AS WELL because i discovered other journalist ocs on tumblr paired with leon and a turkish journalist on wattpad and i was like "oh my god fuck i am scrapping everything" (this idea later got recycled in moth to a flame)

first drafts are absolute hell, as you can see.

i actually dont remember how i got the pink idea. im also like. obsessed with color? i guess. i like to categorize so it's always fascinating when a character/thing is associated with a color/symbol/animal/ and owns it -- like, the girlies in RE -- they made Ashley orange-yellow, sheva purple (kinda? its not as prominent as the others), rebecca pistachio green, alex wesker white, ada cherry red, claire apple red and it just HITS, it could just be a me-thing though. It falls apart at one pointt I know, because how many characters can you color code hahahah (and they didnt even try with the men. they're shades of blue, all of them. or black. bo-ring. they went with the hair and body type for them while the girls got the colors kinda DDJSKDS) -- so take it with a grain of salt, it's just that I love color as a starting and developing point and I cant overgrow it 😭

but like. interestingly there was no pink pink character like you said — apart from moira burton that is who has it in like the hood of her jacket and bracelet and nowhere else, though she is a minor character? i guess in a zombie game franchise marketed to boys majorly in earlier years, they wouldn't really prefer pink LMAO so it was easier to bubblegum chainsaw an OC in since that was a deliberately left alone concept. I was like "mine now" and put a spin to it!!!!! I love that she's just black-pink. It's her whole thing. Such a satisfying thing to me to work with

Okay so, thoughts on Half Bad: the Bastard son and the Devil Himself as a book fan.

Mind you, it's been years since I read the books so the details are a little foggy through my goldfish memory. This will contain spoilers.

Overall, enjoyable. It's so different from the source material that it's hard to compare the two properly, because even the characters are different from how they are in the books. I hope they continue into a season 2 because I'd like to see where they take the book two story of Nathan learning to control his powers (please please please, give me the shared trance sequence with Gabriel god yes please)

Nathan:

In the books his mental health is a very important part of the story, he's depressed, he's been abused his whole life, and it affected how he interacted with the world as a whole. In the show he's still the Nathan from the books, but as if he'd grown up happy with no mental health problems.

They really toned down this aspect of the show. Giving him a loving grandmother, and friends, and a life outside of being a blood witch.

It made his relationship with Annalise in the books more dependent on her, because he'd never *had* someone who cared.

BTW Annalise? HATED HER. In the books at least, they really did a 180 on her personality in the show. They made her defend him which I appreciated, because in the books she never once fought for him (at least that I can remember) and he still adored her even when she was actively letting her brother(s) abuse him.

I don't believe her gift was Undoing as well. I think is was akin to mind control of some kind? (As I said, foggy on details. But I noticed they changed A LOT of people's powers for the sake of excitement)

She also didn't join him after his escape in the books. That was all Nathan and Gabriel for the longest time, and she only reappeared when her family wanted her to go manipulate him.

Gabriel:

A difficult one. His personality is so different from the books he's basically a different character all together. I still like him, but I miss my soft spoken boy who was more than willing to sit with Nathan's volatile moods.

I do like how Annalise and Gabriel start out hating each other (they hate each other in the books, Gabriel with good reason to) but the fact that they become friends, united in their love for Nathan is really nice.

Also I don't know how they managed to make a show that feels like I'm being queer baited SO HARD with their relationship, seeing as Nathan distinctly chooses Gabriel in the books, but hats off netflix you've done it.

SPOILER

As much as I like an Ot3, I'm not sure how I feel about the Nathan/Annalise/Gabriel thrupple deal they've got working. It feels like they're going to ignore Annalise's emotional manipulation and betrayal of Nathan because they afraid to make the main character "fully gay" (I know he's bi, but he does fall out of love with Annalise and in love with Gabriel and I'm sentimental about that because it was the first queer MAIN character I had ever seen.)

BIG POTENTIAL SPOILER

I have hope for the show NOT killing Gabriel because in the finale *they did his death sequence*. In the book he gets shot while trying to escape hunters with Nathan, and it's slightly Nathan's fault (due to gifts that I don't remember exactly) and Nathan becomes so depressed by his death that nothing matters to him, even after they win the war, that he becomes a hermit in the wild and eventually, using the transformation powers he inherets from his father, turns into a tree, which is irreversible.

He can't lice without his lover and it's the saddest thing.

SLEEPING OUTSIDE:

Okay, so slightly disappointed they changed this bit, but in the books blood witches are categorized by their fear of being trapped indoors at night time. So they sleep outside in the open air.

I understand they changed this because it would have been more difficult to film and it's unimportant. But CELIA DIDNT JUST PUT HIM OUTSIDE IN A CAGE TO BE NEEDLESSLY CRUEL. Yes. The cage is cruel, they glossed over many details of his actual time in her care because it was honestly awful, but being outside was for his own safety because blood witches trapped indoors at night loose their minds.

I also kind of wish they spent less time focusing on his sister and built up the relationship between Celia and Nathan. Because they had a special, weird bond in the books.

I did enjoy the show as a whole, and if they make more, I will watch more. But yeah, I have a lot of thoughts because I really loved these books when I read them.

im scared. ive just been stat and gift grinding day 41-45 for the past few hours of the game. everyone is above 100 fortitude. there is three people per department at the least currently (excluding safety and training). about 5 aleph inside my facility but it honestly isnt that bad. two sets of gear for all due to being done with disciplinary's core suppression which ive done all of them so far actually.

WHY THE HELL DID IT MAKE ME PICK TWO. WHY DID IT MAKE ME PICK TWO (soon found out why it made me pick two.) i got big bird and wall gazer. terrified to re extract so i didnt. was thinking of mem rep after just doing apoc bird for that sweet sweet beautiful gear for my favorite little agent (maxim) but decided that i should at least try the day in its enirety.

WHY IS THE DEPARTMENT SO GOD DAMN MASSIVEM FICK. WHY IS THERE 8 SLOTS!!! I DIDNT KNOW THIS!!!! I didnt get any spoilers for mechanics day 45 and onward PLEASE KEEP IT LIKE THAT. SHHH. im honestly so so SO excited. I love feeling challenged. i love feeling the despair that comes up from knowing that it isnt just simply repetition anymore to where it loops back to insane laughter and a blooming joy i havent felt in my body for ages.

CHRIST THE DEPARTMENT IS MASSIVE WHAT THE HELLLLL it did not go where i thought it would the hallways are so LONG and it was at this moment i also realized big bird was a clerk lover as well. yes. put big bird in the department with the LONGEST HALLWAYS KNOWN TO MAN!!!! Goodness Gracious. Doing typical works, hoping for gifts but at this point everyone is level V (except for melendez his fotitude is V though hes just on train duty (i had the fuck ass train in central since day 27)) and EX on fotitude and most other stats. the newer hires had been positioned in record and Extraction for a bit. record is just alephs. and one teth tool. I've taken the task of watching all those animes those isekai animes a friend recommended, but the fan service in some scenes was just- not it.

I can now confidently say (the obvious but still) Fan service REALLY fucks with potential anime fans.

Why is it that just cause the ML is op (I won't bring up GL's as gods above that is also part of the talking about women and girls in anime rant), everyone else just sits back and let them take care of everything? Like, i get it in battles, but outside of that? They could also come up with good ideas that contribute to big things? Making their own strides outside of the ML that actually matter and continue throughout the story?

Why bother putting them in a fantasy world when they're not even going to explore it? You can do the same thing by blending the modern world and just having supernatural elements?

I get i could prob find these things in the LN, but it still goes back to how the women and girls are treated in these stories and just.... ugh.

And then there's the conversation of what "fanservice" could even be.

i think that in canon dean was not messed up enough about that. there was absolutely a consent issue there and they Almost touched on that in canon but didnt quite get there. i forgot emma’s mother’s name but that woman had sex with dean and dean implied they used a condom or other form of protection but that woman then would have had to sabotage whatever contraception was used because she was in it with the express purpose of getting pregnant and having a kid, which dean did not know about or consent to. and then his basically adult daughter shows up three days later and tries to psychologically manipulate him into caring about her so that she can kill him. and then when sam threatens her she again tries to manipulate dean into feeling protective of her. how could that not fuck him up!!!

but. since coming back to tumblr fandom. i have seen multiple people really like… Really into the idea that dean would try to bring emma back to life and fans. Wanting that. Wanting dean to bring emma back and feel all familial and fatherly and loving toward her. and i find that so fucking bizarre and i truly hate it

this is a kid born of, honestly, sexual assault, who manipulated him and tried to kill him and manipulated him again. he was a sperm donor. an unwitting and unconsenting sperm donor. he literally said to CROWLEY that family doesnt end in blood but it doesnt start there either. i dont understand why anyone would think dean would do anything to try to bring her back??? or want to raise her as his, like, traditional family relationship daughter??? its so bizarre to me that there are fans who not only want this but think its in character for him

and this isnt really related but i also hate it when fandom wants claire to be cas’s daughter and wants jack and claire to be siblings. yes cas cares about claire and claire cares about him, but he is Using Her Father’s Corpse as a hand puppet. like. What?????? in reality i dont think she thinks it’s that bad, and neither do i, but like. she had a dad. she had a father. and cas’s relationship to her can be caring but i do not for a moment think he could or should replace her father just because he is in the guy’s used car of a body. i can see her seeing cas as like, her dad’s sort-of-long-lost-twin, her sort-of-uncle, and jack her sort-of-cousin, but never ever her father???

its just… one of the things that i love about supernatural is the emphasis on found family, and i know that between varying writers and producers and directors that message sometimes fluctuates and gets lost and blood relations get prioritized, but overall there is a pretty clear emphasis on non-traditional family structures, found family, loving people who are There For You rather than just because they contributed biological material to you, and again, Non Traditional Family Structures, so its kind of frustrating to see a lot of fans like… toss that all out and base everything on blood relations and try to sort everyone into neatly categorized traditional family roles. like. cas and claire can care about each other without seeing each other as father and daughter. dean can be kinda fucked up about emma’s entire existence without wanting her back and without wanting to have her as his daughter. its much more complex and honestly more beautiful when its messy and weird and maybe unfamiliar. it doesnt have to be a very common and easily recognizable dynamic to be valuable and full of love and caring

BUT HE DIDN’T HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY [all caps: But he didn’t have the opportunity]! Him being upset in the moment is understandable, that doesnt means its Right, just that I understand why he was upset. BUT HE DIDN’T GET THE CHANCE TO PROCESS IT AND COME TO TERMS WITH IT AND SETTLE BACK INTO HIS LOVE FOR TSURU [all caps: But he didn’t get the chance to process it and come to terms with is and settle back into his love for Tsuru]!

I actually think he *started* to, but didn’t get to completion before the mob took over and I also think that, as much as they are mad at Tsuru for being the catalyst for something Taboo, that they see him [the Spouse] as at fault [as well]. I don’t think that after Tsuru is punished/taken away/flees/whatever that the Spouse, in this community he's probably always lived in, was ever free of that 'sin' either. Sure he didn’t know, but he still did something atrocious, and even “how could he have *not* known, really?” etc etc. I think he was never free of the residual taboo that rubbed off on him with Tsuru not there anymore to take that fall. Such a stuck up (?) community still [needs] someone to [throw] their vitriol at, someone to gossip about, someone at the bottom of the pecking order and that becomes the Spouse.

And I think he probably does regret his reaction later. He probably does get to that point with time after the whole shebang that he just wants his husband back.

The Spouse continuing to refer to Tsuru as “my love” throughout is a *really* good point. He does still love him, he’s just upset!

You are also absolutely correct about this being Particularly Bad for Brian Because of His Past. Can you imagine when he finally rejoins the crew? Who’s gonna put the Drumbot back together (literally with your idea of him being torn apart!). Brian needs more hurt/comfort fic!

I actually like the idea of them trying to destroy him. As always it comes down to personal preference regarding exactly how the mechanisms (lowercase M) heal, but just- I can image maybe they think he’s just a robot; they don’t realize that there’s a human in there (not that this would be an okay thing to do to Frankenstein’s AI, either, but its harder to deny that a human is a Person), and so they are tearing him apart, planning to use him for scraps because that’s all he’s good for or whatever. But then they find his heart. And I think the Spouse isn’t there for this. This is the town mob being feral. And they realize that this *was* organic life, to some degree. But they can’t stop now! They’ve already destroyed him. So the push forward and continue. Maybe they end up putting him parts in a junkyard instead of actually using them as part of that guilt niggling at the backs of their minds, and that’s how he can be saved, because I do need to factor that in.

But these townspeople, they realize they did something wrong, but they can’t admit it, and they sure as Hell can’t let the Spouse find out. I think that the heart would probably be put somewhere Safe. Maybe a doctor takes it? (Doctor has, in their possession, the heart of a doctor who was revivified and doomed to immortality by a doctor for the crime of revivification. IDK there’s something there)

So some of the townspeople, like they are the kind of people who are able to realize they did something wrong and want to make it right or ensure it never happens again, etc, but they are out numbered by the people who ignore it, potentially even denying the organic nature of Brian and the people who double down that what they did was Right actually (to clarify, these people Know that what the did was Wrong but they cannot accept that so they lie to themselve and make up reasons why they were in the right actually, etc).

In Stranger, I think Brian’s voice getting harder to hear with the other voices is meaningful.

I interpret those voices to be other people finding out and disparaging him. I think where Brian (Tsuru) is from robots are lower class and the idea that a robot would marry a human is absurd, but marrying one while lying about your identity is dastardly. But now he is on a different planet and here they do not have sentient robots. Keeping it a secret is to protect his husband so he can be as innocent as possible should they be found out and prosecuted (he’s still thinking in terms of where he used to live). A monster is semi-literal because the husband has not seen an android before and he is astonished. But people fear what they don’t know, and he becomes angry at Brian (Tsuru) for lying.

As more voices are added more people are finding out about what he did, yet failing to actually listen to him. His husband doesn’t even listen.

I don’t think the husband went and told everyone, but that he was mad and either someone found out by spying or he told one person and that person spread it and those people spread it, etc.

Summary: It's a little bit after the battle of Starcourt. You were one of the people helping defeat the mind flayer and you threw yourself into the crossfire. With shredded muscles and a sore body/mind in general, Steve drags you back to his house. Warnings: A bit rushed , and mutual pining *winkwonkwink* Your eyes slowly start to open up and your vision becomes more clear. As everything focuses, you have a realization of where you are, it's… a bed? You tried to adjust yourself but you slowly regretted that, wincing after that dumb decision. Instead, you allowed your body to sink into the soft mattress with ease. Everything was so nice and plush, your beaten form rested on the multiple pillows and blankets. Suddenly, the sound of door hinges moving made you immediately move your eyes over. There in the doorway was Steve Harrington, at that moment you realized that this was his house and you were in his bed. The two of you share an awkward silence before Steve was the one to speak up. “Ha! Your up, how you feeling now?” You cringed at the sudden feeling of pain in your side when you tried to move up, never mind back down. “Mmm mmm, still a one.” you wispily replied, the tone of your speech dripped with tired aching. A small frown flashed on Steves's face, it was somewhat noticeable. He came right over to the bed and sat on the side. As the sound came back in, you heard him explain the fate of the party and the rest of everyone else. Your previous blank expression turned into a deep sad collapse. Harrington saw your change in demeanor and slowly opened up his arms. You dived right into that entry. The hug was… nice, filled with light comfort. Harringtons and Yours’s relationship was hard to categorize, to say the least. Both of you were very intimate with each other, some light forehead kisses would be thrown back and forth. Though that cuddly nature only bloomed after his King Steve persona went bye-bye. Everything was silent, the air almost stale. Your forehead was nuzzled right into the crevice of his neck. Your thoughts started to envelop you at this moment. What was so wrong with you? I mean, what was the meaning of all this? Were you dragging him on? Was he dragging you on? Everything was so confusing but you liked this whole dynamic. You did also want to go over this mountain of weird sprinkles of feelings and make this MORE. Right when Steve was about to speak what was on his mind, your face shot up. Little bits of room was left between your lips. “Uhm are you-” ��Can I kiss you?” You abruptly replied. “Sure?-” He didnt get to add more in as your lips collided together. As soon as your lips interlocked Steve reciprocated the kiss. At first, it was sprinkled with hints of confusion. Before the shared kiss was filled with waves of acceptance and happiness. The Henry Stickmin Collection is a series of games that were all made with Flash and have been remastered (with the exception of Completing the Mission, which is exclusive to THSC). They all follow the journey of Henry Stickmin, an amateur thief who attempts to rob a bank, but ends up getting caught and sent to prison. From there, you are able to make choices for him, providing him with items that range from technical gadgets to video game references. With the exception of Breaking the Bank which acts more as a prologue to the entire story, every game has multiple endings based on your choices.

There are usually 3 ways to categorize each of the endings. There is The Sneaky way, in which Henry does the mission with few to none people actually noticing his deeds, The Agressive way, where he does the exact opposite and does it mostly with brute force and even killing others, and The Chaotic way, which is like the Agressive option, but Henry usually creates chaos and casualities through 3rd party intervenings instead of directly causing them.

Escaping the Prison and Stealing the Diamond are both simple enough. Whether you do it the sneaky, agressive, or chaotic way (although there really isn't a "chaotic" way in EtP), Henry always escapes to steal the diamond.

Infiltrating the Airship is where things get a bit more bigger. Here is where the Toppat Clan are introduced. The Toppat Clan is a big and secretive crimimal organization where each member wears a top hat. The Government (also a main faction in the series) kidnaps Henry at the start of the game where they offer to pardon all of his crimes if he manages to take down the Toppats in their main base, The Airship. From here things split more and the endings aren't as similar to each other than before. Depending on what the player's pick, Henry can either take down the Toppats (whether alone or with Charles, a goverment pilot and one of the main characters in the games), join them and become their leader, or ignore both factions and instead go after the Toppat's ruby in their vault.

Fleeing the Complex is similar to how ItA works as well. After the events of ItA, Henry will end up at The Wall, a massive prison in Canada, run by the cold and ruthless Dmitri Petrov. He also ends up waiting in a cell with someone else, a woman named Ellie. Again, he has mutiple options at the start. One is to rush out of the prison by himself, while Dmitri personally hunts him down. Another is to get help from Ellie to escape, and either help her too or abandon her. The last two depend on your choices from ItA. After getting inside a room with a cellphone, you can either get help from the Goverment or the Toppat Clan. No matter what however, you always end up escaping the complex (in one way or another).

The last game in the series is Complete the Mission. At the very start, you get to pick what ending you get at the start by combining the endings from ItA and FtC together. Ok I'm going to be real honest rn I don't know why this ask became so informational and serious and at this point i have no more energy to keep that up so I'll just say a few more things

Each game lets you right click on minor characters to get their bio cards. Its really fun to try to get all of them since theres like over 400 bios, 75% of them being extremely minor characters. Realy goes to show how Puffballs (the person who made the game) put in lots of effort for the little details

It's stupidly funny (/pos) most of the time. I just really cant get over how amazing the comedic timing is

One of the core aspects of THSC are the fails. There's so many ways to fail in the games and they're usually so fucking funny

I didnt get to talk abt this because I was only goimg over the main points but like. GOD I fucking love the toppat leader, Reginald, so fucking much he is such a rat bastard and I care so much abt him. Do you know who else I care about? His Right Hand Man, who doesnt have a name but is so goddamn badass and great. You know who else I care about? So many other characters I didnt talk about because theyre not that important into giving a summary for.

Like I said before, the games are so fucking funny, they have impeccable comedic timing
