So has anyone here seen God Help The Girl?

It's basically an indie music musical scored by the music of Stuart Murdoch of Bells and Sebastian set in Glasgow.

Anyway the important part is that that one of the main character is a lifeguard named James (played by Olly Alexander of Years and Years) who is in a band called James the VI of Scotland because he is Scottish and was born in Scotland but raised in England.

So the crowd thinks he's some posh English wanker and it does help he's pretentious, but he insistences he's Scottish.

I believe he's what Thomas is like when people hears he's Scottish.

Bonus: he spends the film pining after the Brunette main character.
