How to Make Pakoda — Step by Step Recipe
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
In a mixing bowl, add besan, rice flour, ajwain, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and baking soda.
Gradually add water while stirring to make a thick, lump-free batter.
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.

  Ingredients
  Cauliflower
All Purpose Flour – 1/2 cup
Corn Flour – 1/4 cup
Rice Flour – 2 tablespoons
Garlic Cloves – 5-6
Green Chillies
Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Coriander Seeds Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Curry Leaves
  Today let’s see how to make a crispy cauliflower recipe – Gobi 65
  This is a very tasty dish
Let’s see how to make it at home easily
Here I used 1 cauliflower for this recipe
Firstly, we have to separate the florets
Cauliflower usually has a lot of pests in it, so pesticides are used heavily here
To clean the cauliflower, take a bowl of hot water and add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and mix
Put the cauliflower pieces in the water and put it in for 5-6 minutes
Drain off the water along with the dirt
To a bowl, add 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 1/4 cup corn flour, 2 tablespoons rice for crispness, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds powder and mix
Then add water slowly and mix it into a thick paste
Now add 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and mix
Add a pinch of food colour. This step is optional
To this thick paste, add the cleaned cauliflower florets and mix
Heat oil for deep fry in a pan
Drop the prepared cauliflower florets one by one on low flame
Fry on medium flame and flip after a minute
Flip and fry till the pieces turn dark brown
To 1 tablespoon oil in the same pan, add 5-6 chopped garlic cloves and fry for a minute
Then add diced green chillies and fry
Add curry leaves and fry till they turns crispy
More salt could be added here if needed
Now add the prepared cauliflower pieces and toss gently
Gobi 65 is ready to serve!

Gobi (Cauliflower) Pakoda Recipe It's raining outside in Delhi, and if you are thinking about evening snacks, here is a wonderful option for you. Gobi pakoda with chai just make a perfect combo. So let's prepare this easy bust tasty delicacy. INGREDIENTS ( 1 CUP = 250 ML ) To blanch 1) 1 cauliflower or phool gobi approx 500 gm 2) 1 tsp salt 3) 4-5 cups water To marinate 1) 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 2) 1/3 tsp green chili paste 3) 1 tsp cumin powder To make the batter 1) 2 cups gram flour/besan 2) 2 tbsp rice flour 3) 1/3 tsp ajwain 4) 1 pinch of turmeric powder 5) 1 pinch of asafoetida or hing 6) ½ tsp chili powder 7) ¼ tsp baking soda Other 1) Salt as required 2) Water as required INSTRUCTIONS For blanching 1) Cut the cauliflower into medium size florets. Wash well and set aside. 2) Bring the water to boil adding salt in a pan. Once the water starts boiling add all the florets. 3) Cover and cook over a high flame for 3 minutes. Transfer to a colander. Drain excess water and set aside. For marinating 1) Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, and cumin powder to the florets. Mix well. Set them aside for 10 minutes. For making the batter 1) Combine all the ingredients written under the batter, except water. 2) Add water slowly little by little to make a thick flowing batter. Then whisk well. For making the phool gobi pakora recipe 1) Heat oil in a pan. Once the oil turns hot, dip marinated florets one by one into the batter. Coat well from all sides and add to the hot oil. Deep fry them over a medium flame until golden from all sides. Turn the sides in between and make sure not to overcrowd the pan. 2) Follow the same process and deep fry all the remaining florets.
