🦇.—IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR, YOUNG ONES!!

                                 HAPPY OCTOBER 1st!!

     GOOD EVENING!!

  “It can be said that part of the Spirit of Halloween is a grand representation of how we overcome our fears! The unknown, our weaknesses, even death - these mysteries can create a fragility in an otherwise resolute heart if they are not contended with in a proactive, comprehensive manner. AND SO!! Let’s allow the holiday to symbolize this valiant struggle!

We’ll celebrate having overcome our fears this year, and bolster our courage to face next year’s challenges as well!”

     We will be hosting a number of events throughout the month of October, and you are invited!!

🎃.—Who is invited, you ask??

     You and your friends, family, and any helpful volunteers! Participation is not limited to U.A. student activities! We welcome vendors, souvenir merchants, carpenters, and a number more. Feel free to set your shops, stalls, and wares along our designated festival grounds.

🎃.—Where will the event be held??

    U.A.’s training grounds have been known to transform many times, in many ways, to suit our students’ progress. This is no exception! We have transformed the outer area of the training ground to accommodate our guests: concession stands, comfortable seating, even various costume and candy shops! The inner ring will host our student events, where the future’s heroes combat the spooks of Halloween to inspire and entertain! This area will be modified each time the Halloween Event changes. Right now, we have three sprawling, haunted mazes for our aspirant heroes to overcome!

💀.—UA STUDENTS:

    You will be graded on your conduct during this event! Points of Valor will be added or deduced based on your participation! On Hallow’s Eve, we will award the titles: ‘Pumpkin King’, ‘Pumpkin Queen’, and three ‘Pumpkin Knights’ to honor those who stood out favorably during the celebration. These awards are not limited to Hero Course students, only! So GO BEYOND!!

👻.—Rules of Conduct:

    Heroes, students, civilians, and yes, possibly even villains may be in attendance. Please keep your valuables secured and your wits about you. If any disturbances occur, our security staff will promptly address the concern. Villains who make themselves known in a violent manner can expect to be subdued, and barred from enjoying the event.

THE BEAST OF BLOODMOON HAS AWAKENED. GOBEYONDPLUSPUMPKIN2k17

         A GHASTLY HOWL PIERCES THE NIGHT WITHIN BLOODMOON RISE -

It appears as though the pack of the Beast has found their leader, causing him to ENRAGE and completely lose any signs of humanity!         With the moonlight shining so brightly, this monstrous creature can appear anywhere within the maze, at any time! AND HE’S PISSED! Run, hide, or fight - but the Beast of Bloodmoon’s bite is definitely worse than his bark! Destroy, redirect, or dampen the lanterns driving his insanity, and he may return to normal, allowing our heroes victory over the Rise!

     One - step, two  - - The descent into the dark, arid catacombs meets you with nothing but dust and the suffocating taste of stale, rotting air - stone encases everything, giving the area a somewhat claustrophobic ambience, despite there being so much open space.     Tombs line every available surface, and chalky caskets are cracked open to lay their contents bare across the floor - dust, wrapped in dirty bandages to form human shapes.

      The disassembled pieces of a bygone hero are scattered among st the decaying architecture..

🎃.—HAPPY HAUNTING

   Today we have three very distinct mazes to challenge our students! Participation of non-U.A. students IS PERMITTED, if the volunteer agrees to partner up with at least one other U.A. student for a cooperative win! Participants are NOT PERMITTED to view the solution to the maze, but our viewers and the audience may observe their progress from our special viewing screens.

   In each maze, there are five puzzle pieces that must either be arranged, located, or assembled by the participants in order to win the event. Also, in each maze, are three ‘encounter’ type robots, that roam a designated range. They’re disguised to represent a spook specific to each maze, and upon defeat, they explode with candy! Like a really high-tech pinata! So expensive!!

    The ‘Boss Event’ in each maze differs by location. The boss may be spoiling for a fight, they may divulge clues about the puzzle, or they may lead the participants into a trap! So adventurers beware interacting with them! There is no time limit for these mazes, so feel free to search the areas high and low for the candies, trinkets, and exciting Halloween costume pieces strewn about each maze!!

   The deep crimson betwixt his fingers flutters completely out of view, disappearing not into his sleeve or any similar magician’s tricks, but totally from his person, or simply existence. The semi-gloved hand now devoid of purpose for the time being hangs still in the air as if frozen in time nonetheless, sensing or perhaps predicting the inevitable follow-up action that was to come. He is... changed for a night or more in some odd half-transformation, but he is just as conscious of the conservation of his movements as ever - perhaps moreso now than usual, given the unfamiliar territory that is this sort of event.              Eraser does not normally attend parties.                                      Eraser does not ( ever ) normally dance.    Whether out of idle curiosity or appraisal or even a momentary distraction for himself, his eyes roam the costume mask the other now wears, fitting for the skeletal garb donned by the man opposite of him in every way. Unsurprisingly, it suits him as only it could for someone of Toshinori’s powered-down visage.    Their opposite natures only come to their peak as All Might smiles and Eraser’s dark eyes narrow somewhat within the confines of the mask he wears, lips drawn to a mostly neutral, thin line. He couldn’t quite tell if the elation came from managing to prod him out of his comfort zone or if it came from simple, genuine pleasure at having has hand for a dance of some kind. Perhaps it was both.                Go beyond, the man's championed statement rings in his mind.       The latter half of his contemplative reasoning, he doesn’t know what to do with, and so it gets left untouched for now.    As he watches the blonde’s bow and extension of their hand, he remains still for a moment more, calling to mind all the things some small few have told him, either about dancing or about him dancing. ( ‘That’s crazy!...Well, maybe no one officially taught you, but you’ve got so much grace and fine movements when you’re fighting, I can’t imagine a world in which you wouldn’t be able to dance!’ ) They’re probably right, says the logical thought. There’s a lot of people around that may notice if they’re wrong, says the brain.                   Devil’s advocate, even to himself.     The roundabout resurfacing of the initial cause of this costume brings the vaguest hint of a smirk at the irony, and he takes a step forward, moving to place his hand on theirs.                 Damned if I do, double-damned if I don’t.    Perhaps Toshinori, in all his surprisingly considerate eminence, would be a relatively calm trail run. “Go slowly.” He cautions, voice low and inaudible to anyone not standing right next to him. “Otherwise, I will deliberately step on your foot as many times as possible.” Nothing about that in the contract. Or was there? All Might hadn’t really read it thoroughly, if at all.

Kurogiri, should he listen close enough, may hear a quiet tap and the hiss of cloth before the cacophonous roar of a portion of the wall falling towards them - but no sight of what may have caused it.

     It wasn’t as though he didn’t want the company, or the assistance - but the moment he had entered the room, the sheer overwhelming proximity to that daunting level of adult had caused an immediate decline in his ability to properly space his words out - -         At least, this time, he hadn’t been silenced through being forced to cleave his own tongue in two, and the contact was more than reassuring.

                      “Ah... well - -...”

   Those gentle tenors hosted nothing but concern, as wide emeralds shifted between his emaciated idol, the paperwork, the coat - back to the paperwork... his own difficulties just seemed so childish... All Might was keeping up with so much just for the students to have a good time, and he couldn’t even manage to keep track of a sheet and a hat.

                  “Honestly, All Might - someone should be helping you.          My - ah, my costume can wait, I probably don’t want to go into the mazes in something I can’t see out of, anyway - I mean - i-iya, a break is of course, good too!        I’m not trying to tell you what to do, or anything!“

Flailing gestures of ‘no’ before him and a sudden blankness to his eyes seemed to be the turning point of the boy’s convictions, and he glanced around towards the door.

                  “A drink - maybe? Tea? Should we get tea?                                  So you can relax!”

                Ever since the music not too long ago, things have been... quieter. 

                                                 Too quiet. 

                Is this some respite from the craziness?                                               A break?                                                       A moment of solace in which to catch your breath?

       You might be pondering this - or perhaps what you expect may happen next - when there comes a sadistic laugh. It echoes all around you - filling the space within crypts, but you can’t seem to make out where it’s coming from.

        Suddenly.............

                            Crack - like a whip’s strike.

                                                           What could that be?

            The walls behind you start to crumble and fall............                     ...........and before you, coming from the shadows, stands a Candy Golem.
