I wanted to share with you all on #FeatureFriday an artist that I simply cannot ignore.

Alice May B. aka Goatshrine’s work is a perfect example of pastel occultism and psychedelia surrealism. Upon seeing their work I was reminded of Mark Ryden and Caitlin Hackett’s style and content; spellbound by the beauty of softness and innocence in the figure’s eyes and curling hair, despite the eeriness and unease. Their work evokes a sense that you want to touch and cradle these figures of Baphomet and the Devil, albeit with jellied tears and blood streaming down your hands. They are based in the UK, and I encourage you to view more of their work through their tumblr. What is your most favorite art piece you've ever made and who are your favorite artists?

Oh God damn, here you come with the hard questions! Oof! WELL there's loads actually that I've liked in the past few years that other people haven't really been receptive to, but the one that comes into my mind in most recent memory is this. I LOVED working on this, and I'm still so happy with it

Favourite artists? God, I actually can't think + not because I don't have any but because I have so many! I'm friends with so many incredibly talented people which I am so lucky to be ❤️ (sure, your own work is in there!)

You've given me something to think about, I'm gonna have to collate a list of my favourites (when sober)
