female representation is important but replacing Endou? Nah, not on my watch >_>
I don’t get why some people think that he’s overrated. Not only is he a great goalkeeper, but also as a leader and someone to look up to. He brought hope to raimon and influenced so many people throughout his journey and i couldn’t be more proud for him😭there’s no doubt that he’s got the best chara development among the other two main charas and i feel like he’s so so important. It wouldn’t be inazuma eleven without his existence and i could never get bored seeing him guarding the net, trying his best and never give up even in critical situations.

Henrik Lundqvist Celebrates 35th Birthday With Near Perfect Win vs Bruins
By Noah Zimmerman
Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist celebrated his 35th birthday with a trip to the TD Garden to face off against Original 6 rivals, the Boston Bruins. Just days after the 2017 NHL trade deadline passed, Lundqvist and the Rangers looked to halt the surging Bruins (who had gone 7-1-0 since appointing Bruce Cassidy as head coach after firing Claude Julien) in their own home. With new defenseman Brendan Smith playing in his first game for the Blueshirts after coming from Detroit and Pavel Buchnevich replacing Michael Grabner (scratched due to hip injury), New York looked to bounce back from consecutive losses to Columbus and Washington.
The game was heavily contested by both teams, with both Henrik Lundqvist and Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask with stellar games in net. While the Bruins dominated possession and scoring chances for most of the game, Lundqvist stood strong, making spectacular saves for the duration of the game. The intense deadlock wasn’t broken until the third period, when Buchnevich picked a spot and shot past Zdeno Chara that got through Rask. Oscar Lindberg made it 2-0 before the Bruins found an answer. It took a deflection and tap in on a delayed penalty for the Bruins to finally put one past the Swedish goalkeeping star, but Brad Marchand was able to cut the lead to 2-1 with 7 minutes to go, his 29th goal of the season. That was all the Bruins would be able to do, however, as Henrik stood strong. A late penalty on David Backes for interference (Lundqvist drew contact from Backes in the crease for interference with 2:22 left) effectively finished Boston’s fight for a comeback.
Lundqvist finished with 32/33 saves and a .970 save percentage, tying Grant Fuhr at #10 on the all-time NHL goalie wins list at 403. Lundqvist is the highest non-Canadian goaltender in all-time wins, and the only Swede to come close to the top of the list, Tommy Salo coming up next at 210 wins in 526 games.

Top 11 InaEle charas
So like, an Ultimate 11 for each user? That’s cool :0
Tagged by @jenanimus, thanks darling!
Alright, let’s get this one over with:
The big three!
Hamano Kaiji
He was like the first big fave! It wasn’t instant but it also wasn’t like... Late... I love this boy! He’s so gentle and nice and just a happy bab overall! He’s just the most precious thing
(My love for him is so simple I swear this is the shortest one I’ve written even though he’s my overall fave berhj rip me. Well what can I add... His hair used to be really hard to draw for me but now it is really easy! Character development)
Hayami Tsurumasa
Ok so my brother mixes up how come I started liking Hayami with how come I started liking Kurama. But it was really weird. Like, I saw him around in fanart with Hamano a lot, and Hamano was the Great Big Fave, and I liked Hayami’s little moments enough so I just started putting him as a big fave until I played the games and that became just The Most Genuine Feeling. He’s just a big cutie (seriously, how tall is he?) and I want to see him grow up healthy and happy
(As a compensation for not putting gifs, have this random pic I found on my computer)
(don’t ask, it was on the ‘My brother and I rewatch Go’ foulder and it is just. A mess)
Kurama Norihito
Yes, at first I didn’t like him, but as the series proggressed I just thought he was...
Fine. Not to bad. Not like he was cute or anything! But then again once I played the videogame I just??? Loved him??? A lot??? Like yes you go baby you can score ignore the anime it did you dirty but I’m giving you a keshin and an armour and cool hissatsus yes no need to thank you i love you you snake child.
Was it because I just needed to re-check his arc? Was it because of that one scene with Fubuki?
No, screw it, that scene with Fubuki can do miracles. I swear it was so precious
Tachimukai Yuuki
AH YES. THE BIG FAVE. EVEN SINCE ALMA WAS A SMALL SMOLIE. Well, him and Tsunami. Will I put Tsunami? Maybe. I chose him to go to space with me but he sat in the bench the whole game sob rip Tsunami-
Anyways- I don’t remember what got to love this boy when I was little, I guess he was kinda like Hayami, as in, he was with my fave a lot, therefore, a good boy! Oh yeah I also really really really disliked when somebody called him just an Endou copycat like no he is a really strong and powerful boy!!! Also he was voiced by Diana Torres and I love her okay
But now! I saw Tachi in a gif when I rejoined the fandom and went ‘!!!!!!!!!!!!’ like wow I love this boy??? He’s my main goalkeeper in the games and he is doing such a good job! I’m so proud of him!
Minaho Kazuto
Alright, this one just isn’t fair, he’s an instant fave, it really shouldn’t count but Galaxy proved that it can live up to... Uhhh... Whatever feeling I had towards Minaho, really.
He’s just a huge dork and he is so smart and so good at analyzing but he’s A DORK and he wants to be a detective? Sure buddy I support you! Also owls are my fav birds so!!! I love this boy sob? And he is really fun to draw to! (I mean, who would’ve guessed right? After all, I got most stuff asked to him, at least it was that way at first. Speaking of the blog, not dead! I just lost motivation for a bit :’>)
Kageyama Hikaru
Another instant fave! I am bound to love every penguin baby in existence but Hikaru’s design just is so... Soft? And his voice both Spanish and Japanese is so cute (A reminder that I first watched Go dubbed with my brother, until he decided he didn’t want to watch Galaxy and sometimes I thank him for that because if i had to hear ‘Zippy Lerner’ as often I would... You know... C E A S E)
But he is so polite? And he had such a good potential! You know what we, as a fandom, deserved? A penguin Keshin/Soul! And you know what Hikaru deserved? A keshin! Or a soul! Can you imagine? Him going to space and finally have something done witht he fact that he’s Kageyama’s nephew? A PENGUIN SOUL?
Manabe Jinichirou
I had a weird vibe about him, to be honest. It was like, I liked him, but I also was suspicious of him for some reason...? But I somehow got the feeling that I wanted to give him a hug! When I actually watched Galaxy, I got like, really attached to him! I love his character, he’s a cutie!
Kino Aki
I LOVE HER? MY GIRL, MY PRINCESS, my first favorite overall! She is so hardworking and nice and cute! I love her so much! Everytime I see her I just get all smiley! And! Mel made me love her even more! Which I didn’t think was possible! Aaa!
Tsunami Jousuke
Ah yes I ended up adding Tsunami. My heart couldn’t resist putting him on this. After all, he was my favorite for a really long time! I don’t... Remember much about him? But he has this really good really gentle vibe? I just can’t describe it... I should rewatch OG... When I finish CS!
Hiyori Masakatsu (Really? I thought it was Mansakatsu... Don’t know why)
I was convinced I wouldn’t like, LOVE anybody from Ares, but he became quickly a favorite of mine! It was because of his amazing charms and his shark backpack. I love sharks. Sob. I also thought he was a girl. Would’ve been nice to have more girl players. Really admired Rika and Touko when I was little. I like how he is supposed to be the straight man (in inaele? sure bud) but he is goofy as well! I really wanted him to be on Orion, but oh, well.
I really have no idea who I should put now so I’ll just say a bunch of charas I like as well but didn’t make the list cause I’m lazy:
Akane, Tobitaka, Tenma, Handa, Fubuki, Midorikawa, Someoka, Fubuki, Hiroto, Jeanne (why won’t no one give love to CS’s history charas? sob), Toramaru, Taiyou, Fei, Haruna, Yuuichi, Aoi, Midori, Nishiki
Annnndddd tagging!
@mellenabrave @hamakura-hamakura-yas-qween (best username ever wow it is almost like i suggested it) @jounetsulovers

Mitsuki Saiga and Suzuki Tatsuhisa
When I’m browsing I found this.
This is my favorite duo.
and some of their chara (in the same anime) are my OTP.
I mean
this
Shindou Takuto (CV: Mitsuki Saiga) & Ibuki Munemasa (CV: Suzuki Tatsuhisa)
Anime: Inazuma Eleven GO: Galaxy
THIS IS MY OTP TBH. Before episode 17 (tell me if I’m wrong) they didn’t have a good relationship. Like, Ibuki first sport is basketball and then for some reason he become goalkeeper in the sport he never play before-- and Shindou hate him because Ibuki play as solo than a team.
And then Ibuki want to prove Shindou he’s the best goalkeeper-- doing his hardwork and Shindou didn’t accept him yet. Until episode 17 when Ibuki can defend the goal post but he didn’t catch the ball, his enemy otw to make some goal, Ibuki frustrated and finally screaming for help like--
“SHINDOU TANOMUUUU”
SAIL MY SHIIIPPPP.
By the way you can find their roles together in another anime like Bakumatsu Rock and Drifters.
Oh yeah Saiga and Tattsun duet in Cool Heat song. As Shindou and Ibuki.
youtube
And tbh I’m curious about their article above. Anyone know about Saiga and Tattsun collab? If you find some clue or found some link to their article, let me know ‘ w’)

Video
youtube
The ever-reliable EMI-san (EMI2743150) has uploaded videos from Monday’s Charesupo (Challenge Sports) event to promote the Paralympics. Funassyi was there along with several fellow gotouchi chara. From left to right onstage they are Yuriito, a mascot from Tokyo that promotes sports; Kibitan from Fukushima; Musubimaru from Miyagi (a personal favorite); Sobacchi from Iwate; and last and certainly not least, the great Kumamon. In the video above they play a game called Boccha, which seems to be a modified version of bocce or boules (a ball placement game popular in the Mediterranean region), and Blind Soccer, which is played with a ball that makes sounds.
The second video below is the closing ceremony for the event, where one of the athletes lavishes praise on Funassyi for bringing such a big crowd to the event.
youtube
The first video where Funassyi faces off against goalkeeper Kumamon reminded me of their first face-to-face encounter in 2012. Both have evolved since then - Funassyi has changed quite drastically, and Kumamon was more of a lumbering figure back then I think, while now he’s more comical and light on his paws.

Steve Clark’s five saves allow Portland Timbers to salvage 1-1 draw vs. San Jose Earthquakes
Portland Timbers teammates and brothers, Yimmi and Diego Chara, connected on a 33rd-minute goal to put their team out front early. But that was one of just three shots on goal that Portland mustered. San Jose Earthquakes forward Valeri Qazaishvili got the equalizer in the 76th minute, but Portland goalkeeper Steve Clark made five saves to keep things even.

New on Sports Illustrated: Minnesota United-Timbers Preview
Following the most successful season in Minnesota United FC's brief MLS history, there's hope that 2020 can be even better.
United starts down that journey on Sunday against the Portland Timbers in the raucous environment of Providence Park.
In its third season of 2019, Minnesota set MLS-club records with 15 victories and 53 points to finish fourth in the Western Conference and make the franchise's first playoff appearance. A major reason for that success was the fact it conceded just 43 goals after giving up 141 in the first two seasons.
Practically all of Minnesota's key defensive options are back, highlighted by MLS Defender of the Year Ike Opara and veteran defensive midfielder Osvaldo Alonso. Tyler Miller comes over from Los Angeles FC to man the net in place of Vito Mannone.
Up front, newcomer Luis Amarilla was an offensive force in Paraguay, and is brought in with the intent to mesh with Ethan Finlay and Mason Toye, who combined for 13 league goals in 2019.
"We obviously have quality players now, still, the squad is strong, but to say how strong we are, how best we are, it's too early," midfielder Jan Gregus told Minnesota's official website. "I think the season will show, and we just have to prove it every single game and see."
Minnesota will also see if it can win at Portland for the first time in four tries. Though it did play the Timbers to a scoreless draw there last season.
Portland should be glad to open at home this season after playing its first 12 games of 2019 on the road while Providence Park underwent a major upgrade. Despite struggling early and late in the season, the Timbers managed to make the MLS playoffs with 14 wins.
They hope it won't be that much of a chore to reach the postseason this time around. Though 15-goal scorer Brian Fernandez's time in Portland was brief, Jeremy Ebobisse recorded a career-best 11 goals last season and Diego Valeri (eight goals, 16 assists) returns.
Newcomers Felipe Mora and Jaroslaw Niezgoda are expected to contribute up front right off the bat. Meanwhile, star midfielder Diego Chara will have younger brother, Yimmi, on the Portland roster to help the club take care of business in 2020.
"We're certainly hungry and we're ready to go," veteran goalkeeper Steve Clark told the Timbers' official website. "The real feeling is 'let's get this on.' It feels like a long preseason, and we're well prepared. We've been chomping at the bit since we lost in the playoffs last year."

REVEALED! How Atlanta United beat Portland Timbers in MLS Cup Final
New Post has been published on https://bestfreebettingtips.com/revealed-how-atlanta-united-beat-portland-timbers-in-mls-cup-final/
REVEALED! How Atlanta United beat Portland Timbers in MLS Cup Final
Artwork by @chapulana.
At the end of this competition, Atlanta United faced with Portland Timbers. The MLS Cup final had a very special flavour, as Tata Martino”s man marched to there for the first time with quite ease. Secondly, now they have the opportunity to win it for the first time, in addition, in their home stadium.
Now, in this analysis, I will focus on Atlanta gameplan and their point of view. How they managed to win it with a smooth 2-0 victory.
Narratives before the match were quite simple due to Atlanta’s strong chances of winning and the opponent’s role as an underdog. Thus the only big question was before the final, will Portland able to make difficult for Atlanta?
Atlanta’s structure
First, let’s take a look at how Atlanta’s system worked. Tata Martino used several formations throughout the campaign. Nevertheless, he stuck to the 3-5-2 system during the playoffs. Since it is a flexible and adaptable system it can apply to every situation. It capable of dominant play and when it needed they could form a more defensive set-up with ordering the wingbacks into the first line.
In possession, the back three launch the progression, mostly by Larentowicz (or Perez) who had played as a defensive midfielder earlier in this season. Remedi usually remains back to give coverage between the attacking and defensive units, whilst the other two of the midfield trio, Gressel and Nagbe push further up in the field as a flexible #8s. For occupying positions in the halfspaces. Almiron tends to drop between them for creating a better connection. Martinez at the top of this formations since the positioning in the opposite defensive line. In the wingbacks’ role, Garza and Escobar acting. Duties to hugging the touchlines and running up down.
There were not any surprises in the line-ups since both coaches put their best possible XI into the field. Atlanta played in their usual 3-5-2, whilst Portland formed up in a 4-2-3-1 with a double pivot in the midfield. The main question in the tactical side was how will Giovanni Savarese’s man compete with Atlanta’s structure?
In every defensive formation, there are exploitable open spaces. This is what the opposite team try to targeting and take advantage of it. In Portland’s structure, you find these spaces next to the double pivot, outsides of Chara and Guzman. This exactly the same zone where Garza and Escobar positioning. Thus it is an obvious choice for coach Martino to take advantage of the wider structure.
Moreover, most defences protect the centre in the first place since it is closer to the goal and the most important area. Therefore, Portland primary focus was on that zone. Thus Savarese ordered his team to form a narrow 4-4-2 in defence. However, it allowed Atlanta to use their wingbacks as an effective attacking tool.
Atlanta in possession
Atlanta started with their natural game, exercising their control the match from the beginning since they like possession-based football. They seemed calm in spite of the intense pressing of the opponent.
Wingers responsible for pressing Pirez and Larentowicz, while Ebobisse tried to shepherd the ball to one side. And Valeri covered Remedi.
Portland aimed at block the centre thus Atlanta could not access in it. They tried to force to one side and covering the pass route towards Remedi therefore theoretically they could stop Atlanta’s progress.
In the first 10-15 minutes, Portland’s pressing caused some problems for Atlanta which resulted in some backwards passes. In reaction to the press, Atlanta used direct passes towards Gressel and Nagbe in a few situations for a tool to bypass the press. In other occasions, Nagbe dropped around the halfway line in the right halfspace in order to receive passes from Larentowicz since Atlanta favour this side over the left. However, the visitors pressing scheme was able to stop this progress with tight mark and intense press on Nagbe.
Atlanta’s base for progression was in the right side through Larentowicz. Nagbe dropped in order to help the progression.
Although after a while Portland’s intensity starts to drop and they moved deeper, thus Atlanta was able to progress much easier.
Atlanta in offensive phase
After the first few minutes, Atlanta confidence did not break and they started to find ways to create a few chances. By the end of the first 30 minutes, they had some major scoring chances with Almiron and Martinez. It was evident that they will score just time was the question. The biggest chances created through crosses due to Portland could not handle long switches of play or pinned Garza and Escobar. Another weapon for scoring chances created through those counter-pressing situations where Atlanta could win the ball back and quickly turn into an attack.
The basic patterns in Atlanta’s attacking play. Garza and Escobar were the main targets for Pirez and Larentowicz with volleys into depth. Garza and Escobar aimed to immediately play the ball into the box with early crosses.
Portland’s pressing scheme was able to prevent passes from Larentowicz to Escobar but when Portland sit deeper, the home side could use this pass connection. This was important since Atlanta aimed to create an overload in the right halfspace through Escobar, Nagbe and Almiron. There is an instance for this, where Escobar pass to Nagbe then he bypassed his marker and combined with Almiron
As I pointed out, Garza first target was crossing, however, I show a different occasion where he tried to pass through Portland’s defence with combinative play. The pass to Garza attract the respective fullback, therefore, this pulled him out which created a gap between the fullback and the centre-back. This is what Atlanta targeted in this situation.
A sample for an attacking situation where Atlanta United pulled out the respective fullback and targeted the edge of the box. However, Portland intercepted Gressel pass into the channel where Garza tried to run in.
However, the leading goal has occurred in a different way. When Atlanta United lost ball Nagbe, Gressel, Remedi and the wingbacks’ primary focus were on intense counter-pressing in order to win the ball back. Meanwhile, Larentowicz and Pirez immediately started to track the opposite attacking player in Portland’s half, thus they could prevent passes towards them. This caused some important interceptions or tackle. In one of this situations, Pirez made that tackle and the free ball moved back to Portland’s box where Josef Martinez picked up and turned in goal. Since he is impressive in 1v1 situations against the goalkeeper he was able to put the ball into the net with quite an ease after bypassed Attinella with dribbling.
The goal technically decided the clash since after that Atlanta would sit back into a defensive structure and emphasised on counter-attacks. However, Portland thought it differently as they switch to attack and almost equalised with a header. Guzan’s crucial save denied it. The demoralising affection did not appear in the second half due to the fact that Portland did not give up. They tried to attack with even more energy. However, Atlanta destroyed the whole thing with a quick goal. They advanced to the opponent’s half probably the first time in that half and immediately scored. From a set-piece situation where Escobar scored.
Atlanta’s defensive structure
When Atlanta moved back in their defensive formation, they used diagonal midfield press in order to disrupt opponent’s attacking plans. Garza and Escobar defended in fairly high in order to pinned the dropping wingers. Gressel and Nagbe were shifting to the respective wing to press the fullbacks or the opposite centre-midfielders (Chara and Guzman).
The basic movements from Atlanta in defensive phase and also Portland’s attacking movements.
Here is an instance from the first half for Portland’s attack in the right wing where Garza and Gressel pressed Polo and Valentin. Remedi also moved out to cover Chara and Almiron dropped to the centre in order to mark Guzman. This circumstance from Atlanta United made difficult to Portland reach the final third.
Conclusion
What a season has in the MLS? And more importantly, what a season has Atlanta United? In their second season in the Eastern Conference, they could dominate throughout the whole season. Unfortunately, they missed the Supporters’ Shield by the very end due to New York Red Bulls’ great finish. On the other hand, they advanced to the final and won it.
Atlanta achieved this success with an entertaining football. If you watch their game it would become obvious that they resemble for a coherent and hunger group who play very well. In the final, they showed a strong and confident game.
For the future, it will be interesting how Atlanta’s story – fairy tale – will continue?

Timbers not worrying too much about yellow card situation vs. Sporting KC

BEAVERTON, Ore.— If the MLS regular season is a marathon, the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs are a sprint, and concerns about yellow and red cards take on a whole new meaning in the compressed business end of the season.
Portland Timbers head coach Giovanni Savarese understands that the playoffs are a different beast, as they gear up for the Western Conference Championship against Sporting Kansas City, with the first leg taking place at Providence Park on Nov. 25 (7:30 pm ET | FS1, TSN, TVAS).
“You know that during the season you have another game to play,” he explained at the Timbers practice facility. “Here? Now you have two games and, if you don’t do the things the right way, you’re not continuing.”
He would know; after all, Savarese played in the first MLS playoff game ever played as a member of the MetroStars in 1996, with his side losing to eventual MLS Cup champions D.C. United.
That experience of having been there, done that permeates the Timbers squad, led by midfielders Diego Chara and Diego Valeri, who have a combined 26 MLS postseason appearances between them.
It’s that veteran poise that Timbers goalkeeper Jeff Attinella credits for Portland’s passage to the Western Conference Championship.
Nursing a 2-0 lead on the road in the Knockout Round against FC Dallas, the Timbers were without defender Larrys Mabiala for nearly the entire second half after the defender was ejected. The Timbers buckled slightly but were still able to see out the 2-1 win.
“Once [Mabiala] got that red card,” Attinella recounted, “[We knew] it was time to stay calm and we knew what we had to do, and we kind of knew what the game was going to turn into. We leaned on our veterans and they did a good job.”
Because of MLS postseason rules — where picking up two yellow cards results in a one-game suspension — the Timbers will need to “play smart,” in the words of Savarese, as both Chara and Valeri (along with midfielder Andres Flores and defender Liam Ridgewell) are already sitting on a yellow card.
Of course that’s a concern to Savarese, but he doesn’t want to make it the centerpiece of the team’s preparations for the series.
“We cannot be thinking too much about the yellow cards,” Savarese explained. “I know that those players are smart enough to know what they can do and what they cannot do. We need to just be prepared for Kansas City, which is going to be a difficult match. They are a good team and now we are preparing accordingly.”
To get this far in the postseason, the Timbers have had to absorb a remarkable deal of pressure, needing a then-season high 45 clearances to get past Dallas before recording 55 clearances eight days later in Seattle. In each of those matches, the Timbers possession dipped below 35 percent. Throughout all three postseason matches, Portland have been outshot by a nearly two-to-one margin.
While no MLS team put more shots on frame in 2018 than Sporting Kansas City, Mabiala says his team is “building on confidence.”
“I don’t know if you remember but after the first few games, people were doubting us,” said Mabiala, referring to the Timbers’ struggles getting out of the gate this season. “But we were the first ones to say that we were confident. You know we were working a lot. Now I think [people are starting to see] all the work we’ve been putting in this season.”
