Fiends at the Funfair:

Two demon couples find themselves at a local autumn funfair and a little wager is made between them. Things don't go quite as expected, but hey do they ever when Shax, Furfur, Hastur, and Ligur are involved?

For rare pair week @ghst-signal and I had to team up to bring you a fun and silly fic of our favourite couples; The Maggot Husbands and ShaFur. We had a lot of fun writing this and we hope it will bring a smile to your face. 💚

Rating: Teen for swears, some alcohol use, and tobacco smoking

Word Count: 7.6k

Tags: Fluff, Humor, POV Third Person Omniscient, Bets, Games, Romance, Maggot Husbands, No there are no actual , maggots in the fic it's just their ship name we promise, also they are married in this, Shafur, Demons Being Cute, Awkward Dates, No retail workers were harmed in the making of this fic but they will feel very perceived.

Excerpt: “Okay, spill it. I know that look,” Furfur said to Shax, then glanced at Ligur, who was whispering to Hastur and wearing a treacherous grin. “What have you two been concocting?”

“We made a bet. You and Hastur are going to compete against each other. Whoever wins the most prizes for us at the various games here will be the victor,” Shax answered.

“Only if you're up for the challenge, plushy,” Ligur chimed in.

Shax straightened her posture, lifted her chin and assertively said. “Oh, he is.”

“Am I?” Furfur gulped, but when Shax showed him her sharp teeth he quickly added. “Seems I am,” and drained his glass.

“You’re going to lose, plushy! You’re a LOOOSEEER.” Hastur cackled.

An Aziraphale/Lucifer fic for GOAD's Rare Pair week! Careful! It's SPICY!!

Summary:

Crowley is trapped in Hell.

Lucifer offers his release if Aziraphale is willing to spend one night with him.

When things heat up, Aziraphale finds that feelings can get confusing when you make a deal with the devil himself.

Excerpt:

“Did he ever tell you how I would make him see a different kind of stars? No? Well, no matter. It all comes down to this. What are you willing to trade for him that would make it worth my time?”

Aziraphale’s eyes snapped back to Lucifer’s, a frown wrinkling his brow. “Trade?” he asked, confused. “Why, I’ve already said!  Heaven and Hell, on their own sides…”

“Yes, yes…” Now Lucifer seemed bored, prowling towards the bed with his hands clasped behind his back as though he were losing interest. “But that’s more of a mutually beneficial stalemate between sides, isn't it? I mean, what are you, Angel of the Eastern Gate, going to do for me, the Morningstar, to convince me to give him back to you.”

Summary: When the holy water hit, Ligur wasn't the only one destroyed. Down in Hell, Hastur's frog learns of what happened and begins to mourn

Excerpt - From her first conscious moments, when she'd first laid eyes on Rugil, her heart had been as technicolour as her loves skin. Now, with him gone, she could feel the colour drain from it, turning as monochrome and sickly as Hell itself.

Excerpt:

“What would've happened,” Furfur whispered, his voice fracturing, “if the angel hadn't come back?”

Crowley went very still.

“If he hadn’t walked in at that moment,” Furfur said, stepping closer. His voice wavered despite the venom he tried to pour into it. “You tried to kiss me, Crowley. Don’t act like it didn’t happen.”

Crowley flinched, his gaze darting away. 

“If the angel hadn’t interrupted,” Furfur preseed, moving closer again until they were toe to toe, his eyes blazing, “how far would it have gone?”
