The ingenious, creative Spirit of Christ Jesus dwells within the imagination of every born-again Believer. Coming to understand and implement our Christ identity gives us the power to create things (in and through our sanctified imagination) not currently seen or known to exist. By being active in our Christ calling causes us to abandon the self-life by electing and agreeing with a Kingdom advancing future that takes us out of the limitations and confines of the passionless and feckless living that we have experienced in the past.

By accessing God's supreme power, knowledge and wisdom through scripture and the Holy Spirit, we have the ability to operate as God designed us, bearing fruit that remains through moving from glory to glory in our Christ calling.

"For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it." - Job 33:14

Being born of the Spirit, the Word becomes alive to us. God can now speak to us through the Word, symbols, visions and dreams (see Job 33:14).

"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." - Genesis 11:6

God is always communicating with us, whether we are aware of it or not.

accusations of terrorism are often weaponized against those fighting for liberation and sovereignty and dignity. the french settlers called the algerians terrorists. the indian government calls the kashmiris terrorists. the pakistani army calls pashtun activists terrorists. the turkish government calls the kurds terrorists. apartheid south africa called nelson mandela a terrorist. americans called the vietcong and the black panthers terrorists. the israelis call the palestinians terrorists. all oppressive regimes are connected. all oppressed people are connected. injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

I'm happy to announce that this month I was finally able to buy Pirlouit a proper packsaddle! Doesn't he look very professional? And handsome. He receives a lot of compliments every time a visitor sees him all dressed up.

If he looks a bit wary in this photo it's because it was the first time I added the baskets, and as he'd never seen such large baskets before he wasn't sure they weren't about to eat him. His nervousness only took the form of twitchy ears though, there was no drama. (And he can be very melodramatic, so really he's been very stoical and self-possessed in the process of getting used to the packsaddle.)

He can also sulk for days if I make him do something he doesn't like (e.g. hoof care, which he seems to interpret as pointless torture), so I find it gratifying that every time we've used the packsaddle so far, he didn't try to avoid me the next day but came to greet me—he makes it very obvious when he is offended by an activity, and I'm glad that he seems to enjoy being asked to help carry things :).

When I bought the packsaddle I was a bit concerned about the girth being too small, because Pirou refused to let me measure his circumference beforehand (and I was pretty sure having to resort to some sort of girth extender would embarrass him) (but he does have a very round belly...)

But no; I was able to fasten all the straps—though I spared him the crupper strap at first.

I had to have two tall trees felled in the pasture (because of a project I will talk about in another post), and I also cut a couple of storm-damaged trees in my woods, so I spent a lot of time this year cutting & splitting logs. I now have several stacks quite far from my house, in places that can't be reached with a wheelbarrow, and my donkey's help is very appreciated to carry everything to the woodshed. Plus, the people who visit me are usually more into doing stuff with the llamas, so this allows me to give attention to Pirlouit too, while doing something useful.

APPREHENDING THE GOD OF INCREASE

Right now, we celebrate the Holy Spirit bringing us into a divine convergence to position us for a continual increase in wisdom, stature, and favor!

Luke 2:52 reads, "And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."

WISDOM is the application of your understanding and the supernatural ability to turn your encounters and dreams with God into reality. This increase in the Spirit of Wisdom is being poured out to give you the capacity to clearly recognize where your FOCUS should be directed right now. In the Bible the "Sons of Issachar" knew the times (kairos: the NOW opportunities) and the seasons.

STATURE refers to the size of your heart and your inner-man. It's a combination of your God-sized dreams, His presence on your life, and the size of your YES to God. Your stature in the Spirit causes a healthy recognition and is used by God to attract favor with God and men.

FAVOR is a direct result of apprehending and moving in your Christ calling as you bear fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom.

2 Cor. 9:8 reads, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed."

SPENDING YOUR FAVOR

The secret to your increase in these NOW moments is directly linked to recognizing and valuing your "Burning Bush" (new and uncommon) invitations and your ability to "take off your shoes" and stay a while with Him.

Moses not only turned aside to encounter God's obvious invitations, but he built a dwelling place for continual encounters and called it "The Tent of Meeting". From that day on everyone knew that Moses was intentional about obeying God and using obedience and communion with God to receive more understanding and favor.

In Exodus 33:13, Moses discovers how to use his favor, "Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways that I may know You, so that I may find favor in Your sight."

FAVOR AND FRIENDSHIP

Exodus 33:14-16 reads "And He said, 'My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.' Then he said to Him, 'If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth?'"

Moses had learned from his surprise "Burning Bush" encounters, and from wearing a path in the sand to his regularly scheduled "Tent of Meeting" moments with God, that experiencing more of God's presence would cause him to ascend into friendship.

Then Moses said, "I pray You, show me Your glory!" (verse 17)

You have found the favor and the friendship of God who says to you this day, "I will be with you just as I was with Moses."

God shows His glory in us as we move from glory to glory as we bear fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom through our Christ calling.
