Gloria Glitzer's "About" series is conceived as a mobile exhibition space in the form of an artists’ book. For each issue, Gloria Glitzer invites an artist or a group of artists to develop an art work or exhibition exclusively for this space.

Issue No. 10 features an exhibition by Philip Tomaru. Titled "Central Tendencies", this exhibition critically questions standardization and categorization within intersecting pedagogic, aesthetic, and cultural value systems.

60 publications / 5 years retrospective ➖ #46 — About Series #9, published by Gloria Glitzer, 2018, 84 x 29,7 cm, offset, & 16 pp. riso booklet, 100 copies. ➖ 9€ — Available ➖ Believe it or not, but this is the very first artist publication by me published by someone else! Thank you @gloriaglitzer!! The About Series, of which this is #8, is an exhibition room in a publication, the four sides being the four walls and the little booklet as an exhibition pamphlet. As anyone can print the LBF books, I would often send the PDF files to a curator with a couple of very simple explanations on how to make the installation. This is the recipe to make such a La Bibliothèque Fantastique installation. ➖ In 2015, I chose antoine lefebvre editions both as my artist name and as my imprint. I didn’t do it on purpose, but after some time, I realised I was issuing more or less one publication each month. For many reasons, some of which are pretty obvious, I haven’t published anything for a while. So it is time to sit back, relax and enjoy the work done until I figure out what comes next. By the way, almost all these publications can be downloaded from my website. This week we're putting out lots of new works in from our TOABF and Berlin visits. The »About Series« by @gloriaglitzer @wemakeitberlin is an ongoing project where artists are invited to exhibit at their mobile exhibition space, a Leporello fold with four pages—like a room has four walls—and a booklet handsewn into it—like a floor plan for this space.
