what strikes me about some anti-sylki takes is that someone comes up with a Problematic Interpretation that makes no fucking sense and then they go around the internet recruiting people who don't really agree with them but will go along with it because just not liking a pairing isn't good enough anymore (idk what that's about), and then within a few months you run into someone in another fandom saying "but i heard that pairing promotes the very common and not just made up from fuck-all idea that bisexuals only want to fuck themselves and also that it supports footbinding because the woman one has smaller feet than the man version of the character, how can you defend something like that?"

and i just can't get any further with a response to that than "what the fuck," because really what the fuck?

I need more Nebarra screenshots for things like this so if you can take 'em please send em my way LOL I just keep imagining Nebarra trying to order Horker meat from the mall food court like it's a marketplace that sells all kinds of exotic cuisine... specifically raw ingredients like cuts of meat. the thing about stolas HB is that taking just what he does objectively and putting it through the rationalization of a normal person would make such an interesting character portrait. hes a middle aged man and politician/aristocrat, he's going through a category 5 divorce and hasnt bothered to connect with his teenage daughter for many years now, he's struggling with depression or something and has suffered from his situation but hes also been using his position of power to exploit someone for likely over a year now, but he actually loooved that guy and is sooo sad crying face that said guy sees him as nothing but a sex pest after he spent half the show Being a sex pest. he actually couldve been a really interesting villain but unfortunately the authors are too yaoipilled so now nothing is his fault ever buy this merch of him cryinggggggg hes so saddd he has to take his happy pills oh my goshhh

If I’m not wrong there’s quite a few studies that say people with adhd actually have delayed frontal lobe development. From the studies I’ve seen they state 3-7 years of delayed development from the “base” age of 25.

In the anime, he's just fucking around and visiting his dead mom when he was called back to Japan for the Galaxian Wars tournament. He immediately gets the Cygnus armor behind a glacier implying he could've done it anytime but just wanted to hang around a bit longer because he misses his mom a lot.

In the manga, he actually refuses to go back to Japan for the Galaxy Wars but only decides to return when he receives a letter from the Sanctuary that ordered him to kill the bronze saints and directions of where to find his armor(which he also mentions he was granted the status of a saint a while back). Meaning this whole time, he was just sitting around just visiting his mom because he couldn't actually find his armor because I guess Camus never bothered to tell him during the 6 years of training where it actually was.
