Smoke Over Seoul ◎ Kwon Ji-yong

◎ Summary: The reader follows her lover, Ji-yong, to Seoul after a whirlwind romance in Paris, only to discover she was never the only one.
◎ Warnings: angst, "GYRO - DROP" chorus
◎ ◎ ◎ ◎ ◎
You still remember the first time you saw him—lit in gold by the fading Parisian sun, standing on the steps of Palais de Tokyo. His head turned just so, lips slightly parted in a private smile, dressed in an impossibly tailored Chanel suit that made him look more artwork than man. The air around him shimmered with attention, cameras clicking like insects in summer. But he had eyes only for you.
You hadn’t planned to meet anyone, let alone Ji-yong, the muse of a generation. You were in Paris for work—freelance writing, fashion week coverage, trying to break through. You met at a gallery party, tucked away in the 7th arrondissement. You laughed at the same things, shared a table at dinner when a reservation fell through. He asked you to go bowling the next night—of all things—and you went, still wearing your kitten heels and slightly tipsy off rosé.
The bowling alley was underground, dimly lit with purple neon and '80s pop playing through old speakers. He showed up wearing a beanie low over his brows and an oversized hoodie, trying to go unnoticed but failing miserably. You rented matching clown-colored shoes, and he challenged you to a bet: if you won, he'd write a song about you. If he won, you'd have to teach him to cook something Western.
He threw gutterballs and called it "avant-garde technique." You laughed so hard, your ribs ached. He insisted he was letting you win, even as he tripped over his own shoelaces trying to do a trick shot.
When the game was done and he’d lost spectacularly, he looked over at you, playful but sincere.
"So," he said, tapping a note into his phone. "Title: Gyro-Drop."
That night, outside the alley, the spring chill wrapped around the two of you. He leaned close as you pulled your coat tighter.
"You have no idea what you do to me," he whispered.
And then he kissed you—tentative at first, like asking a question with his lips. When you kissed him back, it deepened, became something slow and aching. His hand rested against your jaw, thumb brushing your cheek as if to memorize the feel of you.
You made out under a flickering streetlamp, the city fading around you.
It was the first warm day in weeks. You packed sandwiches from a deli near your apartment, and he brought a bottle of wine and an old fleece blanket. You sat by the river as boats drifted by, the water glinting under the late afternoon sun.
He laid his head in your lap and looked up at you.
"If we met in another life," he said, "do you think we'd still find each other?"
You blinked down at him. "Maybe we already did."
He closed his eyes, his lashes dark fans on his cheeks. "That's beautiful," he whispered.
Later, when the wine made everything soft, he kissed you again, long and slow. Your hands in his hair, his arms pulling you into him. You tasted laughter, sunshine, and something deeper—hope, maybe.
The relationship grew in stolen hours and timezone glitches. Messages at midnight. Video calls that stretched until morning. He’d send you voice notes of unfinished lyrics, random thoughts while driving, sleepy hellos from backstage green rooms.
You would tell him about your day—the coffee shop with the rude barista, the dog that tried to follow you home, the article you were proud of. He always listened. Or at least, he used to.
At first, he seemed grateful for the escape you offered. With you, he wasn't an icon. He was Ji. Just Ji.
But as the months passed, something changed. Messages came slower. His words more guarded. He'd disappear for a day, sometimes two, and when he came back, he always said it was "hectic schedule," "bad signal," "too tired to talk."
You ignored the red flags. You remembered the way he looked at you in Paris, the way he laughed at your jokes. You told yourself he was just busy.
Then came the moment that snapped it all.
You broke your lease, sold off books and furniture, condensed your life into two suitcases. He had sounded excited on the phone.
"Finally, we can just be," he had said. "No more screens between us."
Seoul in spring was a dream—streets blooming with cherry blossoms, couples holding hands by the Han River, the smell of roasted chestnuts in the air. Ji-yong picked you up at the airport in disguise, but his eyes still gave him away.
The first week was bliss. Late-night walks, secret dinners, his hand curled around yours in the back of cabs. He sang to you once, half-dressed and barefoot in his kitchen.
"I never wrote that song," he murmured. "The one from the bowling alley. But the melody's still in my head."
You smiled. "Then finish it. I'm right here now."
But his eyes didn't meet yours.
It was at a rooftop café in Itaewon where your world cracked. You were supposed to meet him for brunch. You arrived early, your heart full and foolish, holding your breath when you saw the back of his head at the far end of the terrace.
You walked toward your table—only to stop in your tracks.
He was already there.
With her.
She was elegant, composed, with the kind of beauty that doesn’t beg for attention. Her hand rested easily over his, like it belonged there. She leaned in, said something that made him laugh—a familiar, carefree laugh that used to be yours. It rang in your ears like betrayal.
You froze. She saw you first.
Her gaze swept over you, calm and assessing. Then she turned back to him and murmured something. Ji-yong turned.
His smile died.
For a moment, time collapsed. You saw every kiss, every call, every promise—and all the lies behind them.
You turned and walked away, your heart pounding so hard it hurt. Behind you, chairs scraped. But he didn’t follow.
Not right away.
He came to your apartment that night. Rain soaking his clothes, his hoodie clinging to him like second skin. He looked ruined. You let him in.
He tried to speak, but you held up a hand.
You needed this to be yours.
"You should have told me. You should have told me I wasn’t the only one.
All those nights in Paris, all those promises—I wasn’t asking for a perfect love, Ji. Just an honest one. I crossed oceans for you. I built a future in my head and planted it in this city’s soil like it could grow into something real.
But I was just a chapter, wasn’t I? A secret scribbled in the margins of your life while someone else got the cover story.
Do you know what that feels like?
Do you know what it’s like to walk into a room and realize you were the knife, not the hand?
I loved you. And you made me a lie.
You made us a lie."
He dropped to his knees, shaking. "I didn’t know how to end it. I didn’t know what to do. I thought… I thought I could fix it all. But it was you. It was always you."
You stepped back. "No. If it had been, we wouldn’t be standing in the ruins."
And then, gently, finally, you closed the door behind him.
You still live in Seoul. Small apartment, quiet street. You’ve started writing again. Real things. Sharp things. Stories that bleed a little.
Sometimes, you hear his songs. You recognize a phrase you once said, a note from a voice memo you sent. Once, at a coffee shop, the radio played a track from his new album.
It was called "GYRO-DROP."
Your breath caught.
But it wasn’t what you imagined. It wasn't tender. It wasn't about love. It was raw, almost violent in its eroticism—a pounding beat, lyrics full of teasing double meanings. The chorus? "Ride me like a carousel. Spin me like a Ferris wheel. The way you fuck me, baby, it ain't fai."
Your mouth tasted bitter. The title he once whispered in the dark, tied to a moment you thought sacred, was now just another notch in his sensual mythos. A mistress song.
And yet… your name wasn’t in it. Not directly. But the world knew who had inspired it. And in that exposure, you felt yourself unravel all over again.
Somewhere across the city, Ji-yong lay awake.
He never listened to that track. Not anymore. He couldn't.
It wasn't the song he meant to write.
He remembered you in Paris—the way your laughter rang through narrow alleys, the wine on your breath, the warmth of your hand curled in his. He had meant to write a ballad. Something soft. Something true.
But by the time he tried, you were already gone.
The label wanted a hit. He gave them a fantasy.
But in the quiet moments—in the space between shows, between lights, between lies—he played the real melody in his mind. The one he never finished.
And he wondered if you would’ve stayed, if he’d written that song instead.
But when the wind rushes through the city at night, brushing past lantern-lit alleyways and quiet riversides, you let yourself think of him.
Not with longing.
With truth.
Because he was real.
And so were you.
Like smoke over Seoul—there, then gone, but never forgotten.

If an ask already came through, sorry it was a glitch!
My new NEW blog is here (previously justalilgoofball and lovelymoonmagic)
Also care to share with the class about your current fandoms? I maybe see some DCU stuff? 🎤 care to share and yap
Oh my gosh hiiiiiiii Lovely!!! It's great to see you again :))) I'll follow your new account immediately!!
Oh boy don't even get me started on DC rn. My past fandoms I always picked a few favorites and obsessed over them and DC is no different lol. Im a basic girl, and I loveee Batman. Specifically his family. Specifically, the first (there's been so many!) Robin, Richard (Dick) Grayson!! He's not Robin anymore obviously and he goes by Nightwing. Ughhhh I love him. So much. He was born in the circus to a family of trapeze artists. When he was 8 (or 12 depending on the continuity), they performed in Gotham and a mobster sabotoged their ropes so his parents fell to their deaths in front of him. This child decides that actually, thats not ok, and sets out in revenge in the hopes that he can KILL THE GUY! (He's insane lol but like, he almost did it!) Anyways, batman was in the audience and was like, my parents died in front of me as a child too! You're just like me fr. He wants to adopt him. He meets him as Batman while Dick is trying to find and murder a man and is like, Oh boy. He adopts him and after he can't stop him from continuously sneaking out, makes him his partner. So baby Dick is now a superhero and stays that way for years until he's 16-18 ish and either quits or is fired (depending on the continuity again) and becomes Nightwing and moves to the neighboring city Bludhaven! He has a ton of ugly costumes but his more current ones are super cute. He was also Batman a few times, most notably when Bruce was presumed dead.
His siblings consist of Jason Todd (second Robin who was murdered by Joker, came back to life and went out for revenge dubbed as Red Hood because Batman didnt kill Joker and got another Robin), Tim (timothy) Drake (third Robin, then Red Robin, went by Drake at on point [idk when lol], who stalked the batfam and found out their identities because Dick did a recognizable flip, and blackmailed Batman until he became robin after Jason's death), Cass (Cassandra) Cain (was raised by her assassin father who didn't teach her to speak so she learned to fight and read body language until she ran away, known as Black Bat, Orphan, and Batgirl), and Damian Wayne Al Ghul ( either Wayne or Al ghul depending or both. Idk how that works tbh.) (Son of Batman and assassin cult leader's daughter Talia. Was raised ther for years before being dropped on Batman's doorstep. Known as Robin (but i think he's gonna quit and become a doctor in the Comics soon!). There's also Stephanie Brown (Spoiler, 4th Robin, and Batgirl), Barbara Gordon (Batgirl (the original) and Oracle), and Duke Thomas (Signal). Stephanie and Duke are often considered batsiblings as well (Steph is honorary, Duke is a foster kid later on). Barbara is her own thing (first Batgirl, literally grew up as friends with Bruce and Dick, also Dick's on and off again girlfriend (they're currently engaged)).
There's also Alfred (he's so iconic 😌) who's the butler and basically raised Bruce. He's great.
Thats the cast!! There's a ton of them which is why the rundown is sooo longggg but they're a lot of fun (and tragically angsty. Ive cried over them too many times. Also, going back to me saying I love Batman? I low-key don't lol. I have beef with him <3
#dc#asks#mutuals#long post#oh man#i got a bit carried away#sorry lol#i have a lot to say about them#too much apparently#because this is only scratching the very surface#i could write essays about them#maybe not accurate essays dince i havent read the comics#but essays nonetheless#oh btw#i am also kind of in the utmv and fnaf fandoms#i reblog fanart occasionally but other than that ive moved on

I think the worst thing about Tumblr dropping down to a skeleton crew was that Tumblr users were diligent with giving feedback to the site for the entirety of the new changes automattic made.
At no point was there all that much support for things like the new photo/video viewer, which no longer allows you to zoom in and takes you to random ass other posts. The new viewer also lags so much that videos often don’t play until you exit it. I saw hundreds of posts talking about the issues and what needed doing in BOTH proposed cases - people explained how to make the new one more usable, and how to improve the old one.
Tumblr’s biggest handicap was ALWAYS that it’s interface tough to get the hang of if you’ve never used any other blogging platform, since it’s one of the few platforms left that is specifically about blogging. Tumblr has been avoided by loads of people because there isn’t a crash course on how to work the site, the buttons and icons are not explained, etc. And while I love it, those changes are what would bring more people here. It’s daunting to join a new platform, especially one you don’t understand in the slightest and one that is not set up like most social media.
The things we railed against hardest were features that encouraged one-way relationships with other users - mutuals to a tumblr user are literal friendships, and doing anything to make direct communication with those friends harder Ie: non chronological timeline, moving the messaging system, making tags visible in reblogs so that people felt weird about talking in them, so on.
The thing is, Automattic, you’re never going to get a social media like any of the others out of this site. This site has such a long reputation that the best thing you could have done to improve it was to focus SOLEY on bug fixes, outside of the fun gifts and badges and checkmarks and merch. Implementing new features wasn’t going to save this site, but fixing the bugs and implementing a way to teach new users how the site is used at the most basic level may have, because your issue is NOT that tumblr isn’t a fun, interactive platform as it was without tumblr live - your issue was that it’s reputation precedes it. And if it’s reputation precedes it and you don’t make an effort to make those who are curious want to stay, that’s where your influx of people went.
They came here because Twitter was dying and had no idea what to do, weren’t used to using xkit to fix the site, didn’t find the constant lag and glitches endearing, and left.
It wasn’t that we didn’t have an extremely data-insecure live-streaming service.
@staff , thanks for trying to listen. I saw it, I promise.

Tumblr was glitching out so for some reason I was seeing posts of yours from days ago, and I saw your idea about Billy and his lover being reincarnated and I RAN to your blog to see if you had said anything else about it, and I was SO EXCITED TO SEE THAT ITS IN YOUR DRAFTS OMG THRJFJJDDHSJ. That’s the most beautiful and romantic idea I’ve heard in a long time, seriously can’t wait <33
OMG I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT RESPONDING TO THIS SOONER!!! AHHH, I am so glad you liked the idea that spouted from me and my friends shenanigans! YOU ARE LITERALLY SO SWEET!!!
I have been working on this WIP (as well as my other corio fic) BUT I FEEL SO BAD FOR LEAVING YOU HANGING SO HERE IS A LIL BLURB FROM THE FIRST PART!!!
Billy loved Billy the Kid. Your very own kid brother, WIlliam, had declared his own nickname to be Billy because of just how much he loved the famous old western outlaw. He printed and weathered his wanted posters, filling the four tiny walls of his room at your fathers ranch. He even begged you and your father to teach him how to shoot just so he can connect with his hero. He even roped you into sewing him trousers and a blouse just like the Kid wore in his iconic wanted photo. Billy even stole your fathers hats and boots and your wine red cardigan. He would walk outside, toothpick in mouth, and walk around, playing pretend. He’d pretend that he was in the famed Lincoln County War, surrounded by Jesse Evans and his gang of misfits employed under Murphy and the House. He’d use his pretend gun and shoot all the bad guys down just as Billy the Kid had as he fought for his life in the burning McSween house.
THANK YOU AGAIN ANON, YOU ARE SO SWEET AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS EXCERPT FROM THE FIRST PART!!!
side note: your brother is DEFINITELY NOT the reincarnation of billy and I hope that was clear enough but please do tell me if it's a little confusing!
#billy the kid#billy the kid 2022#billy the kid x you#billy the kid x reader#tom blyth#tom blyth fanfiction#BTW YOU ARE LITERALLY SO SWEET#I AM SO GLAD YOU LIKE MY AU!!!!#modern billy reincarnation au!#emi-sanity#emi yaps#emi is late to the party#cause she's working on 5 MILLION WIPS at a time#if only you saw the google sheets i made for all my ideas#you wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me

Writeblr introduction I guess?
Guess what bitches (affectionate) I’ve been here for like six months and I’m finally making a writeblr introduction. I have just vibed within the community for all this time, and I reckon it’s time to actually confirm my existence as an actual writer.
A bit about me: you can call me River, I mainly write fanfiction for quite a few fandoms, I’m a full time student, I use all pronouns (agender bitches for the win) and autistic currently seeking diagnosis.(in this economy? I know, right?)
I’m open for all tag games and asks (please include me, I promise I won’t procrastinate on the tag game until it’s three weeks later and it’s too awkward to post it then)
Here is my master list of wips, categorised by fandom. The majority of these are not being regularly written in, but they all will one day find a home on the archive I promise.
I will link them up to their respective WIP introduction pages as they happen, if you want to hear about one sooner, let me know <3
Harry Potter
No Time to Die: Drarry au where I kill off Draco in the first scene, have many clever plot-fixes and throw in as much LGBTQ rep as I can
Aelia Lovegood - Luna Lovegood has a pyromaniacal twin who is trying to fix racism by punching Nazi children in the face. It’s mostly working
Oh dear it’s a time loop fic - Draco and Hermione are trapped in a time loop, what will they do? (Troll everyone for basically eternity, and try not to go mad)
The fic where Harry is a sociopath, and goes full homicidal mode on Voldemort along with a scary Hermione and a power-hungry Ron - eh the title explains it well enough
when stars collide (a black hole forms) - a person from our world falls into the HP universe, and immediately tries to mother hen her family out of being evil. Callidora is the twin sister of Bellatrix, and spends the next thirty or so years attempting to fix everyone through the power of love. It works most of the time.
Harry Potter and the job he should have gotten - thirteen years after the end of the War, Minerva McGonagall has a staffing crisis and breaks into people’s homes until they agree to teach. Harry/Theo Knott, Hermione/Pansy and Draco girlbossing it by himself while figuring out how to be a single father.
Marvel
Of Godparents and Aunt-sassins - Jokingly, a couple name the godparent of their new child as Loki. No one expects him to except. Ava is a menace, Loki is a gender fluid icon, a wonderful brother and a terrible influence, Natasha is the vodka aunt, Clint is the fun uncle, Cooper Barton is the responsible one, Peter is a tiny adorable baby who gets adopted, and the Avengers live the 2012 Tower life
SHIELD: An Unofficial Guide - based off the SHIELD survival tips blog here on tumblr, written up in a guide-book form, complete with neatly organised chapters and unique anecdotes
A Glitch in the System - Glitch, a winter-widow and the last remanent of HYDRA, is sent to assassinate the Avengers. When she fails, she runs away and meets a certain spider-child on a rooftop. Featuring a teenage Loki, an amnesiac Pietro and a certain blonde widow, who’ve all moved into May Parker’s apartment, and a lot of miscommunication between just about everyone
Loki doki timey wimey - set during Thor:Ragnorok, Tony and co notice that Loki has reappeared on Midgard, and promptly break into Doctor Stranges house to question him. Dr S promptly gets very annoyed by Tony and Lokis inability to get on, and sends them away to the magical equivalent of a get along shirt, which goes wrong and leaves Tony and Loki stranded in a time loop. They’re under the impression that the loop will break when they learn to get along, Dr Strange is doing nothing to disillusion them of that.

(This is the image that my beta once_and_future_fandoms made when I ranted about it to them)
Another life - something I started before the Loki show came out (take that Marvel), starts at the beginning of Infinity War, when a female Loki dies at the hands of Thanos, meets the personification of the universe, merges with the Tesseract, leaving her with a shapeshifting familiar and teleporting powers. She then travels briefly through the multiverse and lands in the OG Marvel universe, with a Tom Hiddleston themed Loki and attempts to fix stuff through the power of having a giant snake and knives.
Bucky and the time he lived in the woods with his murder daughters - Bucky escapes from HYDRA in the 90s with Natasha and Yelena. They live in the mountains of Romania together, learning how to be actual real life people and incidentally becoming cryptida along the way. Natasha and Yelena join SHIELD in their early twenties, and continue happily along their way in the canon plot, until their father James comes to visit the Avengers Tower after the Battle of New York, and bumps into a familiar blonde…
Supernatural
Woahhhh it’s Emmy - Emmy, (long for MJ, short for Mary Junior), is the standard extra Winchester OC, twin sister of Sam, who is almost as bad at talking through her problems as Dean is. While Sam went to Smamford, and Dean ran around with John, Emmy started a weapons dealing company for hunters, travelling around under the guise of an occult shop. She reluctantly joins back up with her brothers in season 1, just to make sure her dumbasses don’t get themselves killed. She solves half of the shows problems with a glock.
Doctor Who
Who the fuck is Sally Sparrow? - Kat Sparrow has grown up knowing that things live in the darkness. The Sparrows are known by all the intelligence agency’s of the world, for their abilities to find and trap those things. Their specialty? Angels. When River Song appears on her doorstep one night, telling her that she has an angel to catch, Kat does the only thing she can, and joins the Doctor, River and Amy in the TARDIS to catch it. Kat thinks it’s fantastic, Amy enjoys having a friend whos roughly her age, and River is cryptic as ever. The Doctor, however, would really like to know how the hell a human girl is capable of subduing the most deadly creature in the universe.
Redo of Sally Sparrow except there’s no Sally Sparrow and a completely different plot line - When River tumbles into the TARDIS at the start of the infamous Maze of the Angels episode, she brings someone else with her - her adopted daughter, Astra. Unknown to 11, Astra is his child from the future, the result of a coupling between 12 and Missy, who was partially raised by both of them and the other half by River. Featuring: Astra is briefly evil and genocidial, Astra gets therapy with 14 and Donna, Astra flirts constantly with half of his companions, River, Missy and 13 all walk into a bar, and the combination of lesbianism causes a rift in time and space, and someone really needs to stop 12 from naming people after his past companions.
The Vampire Diaries
TVDeeznuts - Cassie Gilbert, twin sister of Jeremy, heads off to an out of state boarding school after being compelled by Damon in an attempt to protect the first person to have trusted him unconditionally in the last hundred and fifty years. Yes, he might have been a crow for half of it, but the thought is what counts, right? Unfortunately, being the danger magnet she is, Cassie immediately manages to befriend a local artist by the name of Nik Mikaelson. Three kidnappings later, Cassie is the first honorary Mikaelson since Marcel. Let’s just hope it doesn’t go quite as bad as his did.
Shadow hunters
Making my OCs be adopted by a bunch of vampires has nothing to do with my parental issues I promise - Autumn, a rather shy twelve year old, is Turned into a vampire rather unexpectedly by a less than stable Maureen who wants to be best friends forever. She immediately attaches herself to Raphael, who is horrified, but ultimately decides that he can use the situation to gaslight Magnus into believing that she’s always been around. Autumn has no objections, Lily thinks it hilarious, and Elliot is just happy to have a little sister.
Shadow hunting my multiple mental illnesses - Astoria Fray is perfectly normal. She does her homework, eats far too many chips, and goes out to parties with her best friends Lily, Elliot and Raphael. And then her mom gets kidnapped, her sister goes missing, her uncle won’t talk to her, and a very sparkly man tells her that he’s a friend of her mothers and that she can stay at his place. And as if that wasn’t enough, turns out that she’s not human, her dad is shadow hunter Hitler, and vampires, werewolf’s and warlocks are real.
At least Lily and Raphael are still normal. Right?
we'll never get free (lamb to the slaughter) - Magnus Bane is forced to baby-sit a precocious, morally-grey Warlock child. It goes about as well as you'd imagine.
Fourth Wing
Fourth wing more like fortieth wip - Elyrion Melgren (currently going under the name Elyrion Foxe) lived in Tyrrendor for the first fourteen years of her life, while her father led the armies of Navarre, spending her days exploring the city with her best friend Xaden. Six years later, she hasn’t seen Xaden since the apostasy, and has been forbidden by her father to go into the Riders, as he doesn’t want her to interact with the Marked Ones. Elyrion promptly ignores his orders, crosses Parapet, and joins the revolution.
Throne of Glass
Cadre Coparenting - what could go wrong? -Two years after Aelin Galathynius was born, her sister, Aurelia arrived. Born with powers of darkness and death, Evalin and Rhoe have no choice but to send her to the only person with experience in controlling powers like hers - her Aunt, Maeve. Maeve promptly passes the child off to her loyal bloodsworn until she’s old enough to be useful to her. Between the six of them, the Cadre just about manage to raise a singular child, despite Aurelia's best attempts to be difficult. It’s entirely her fault that half of Doranelle now believes that Lorcan and Rowan are divorced, and co-parenting their daughter together with Gavriel and Vaughan, their new partners, and Fenrys and Connall, her brothers.
Twilight
Twi-mental breakdown-light - Twilight if Bella had a precocious ten year old sister, and Edward and Bella raise her in aroace solidarity. Esme is delighted that she finally gets a grandchild, and Emmett is not responsible enough to baby sit.

Sorry for the lack of sims content the past few days. My computer suddenly can't show me pictures when I pick them for upload, just a generic icon and a name, which is less than helpful, so posting got harder and I just - had easier things to do, like tackling Fibber McGee's closet. (Which is looking great right now, btw.)
Anyhow, I had forgotten to return to the Emerald household again after the date glitched out, so Oswin and Sylvia finished it up and then we went on with the next day, which is a Sunday. They took the boys to the Community Center, where Ozmerelda's friends rushed to console her and the twins learned to roller skate. But Sylvia's motives were plunging really fast and no other kids showed up, so they went home and the boys played together happily. Oswin is teaching Gruene to dance.
There's a small number of community lots built by the abandoned terraforming crew, which I decided would feel unsafe to the colonists until they made at least one townie best friend. Oswin, having qualified on the basis of some townie I've never seen him with calling him constantly, went down to the Disreputable Dive, where he found other colonists as well as townies gambling and risking the buffet. He ran into Blau and they ventured an intimate dance, but Blau has pregnant sims to get back to at home and wouldn't stay long. There are facilities for woohoo on these lots, but they never went near them.
Willy Winkie doesn't seem to clock the place as at all shady, cheerfully helping himself to the buffet and discussing the new school with the husband of the teacher.
Meanwhile, Gruene is already taking an active part in the business of the colony, while the less practical Vert spends all his time at the keyboard. If the colony is to thrive, after all, they will need both farmers and artists.

Neon Rebellion
[A Cyberpunk, dystopian, LitRPG, Story]
Audio version coming soon.
In the shadow of Seattle's once-iconic Space Needle, now emblazoned with the glaring Walmart insignia, the neon-lit streets pulsed with the rhythm of corporate oppression. The United States, a name that once stood for freedom and democracy, had become the United Corporations of Walmart, a dystopian regime where consumerism was the new constitution and every citizen a mere barcode.
Amidst the sea of disenfranchised souls, there was one who refused to be scanned—a brilliant hacker known only as Cipher. With his raven-black trench coat and eyes that mirrored the city's electric glow, Cipher was a ghost in the machine, a glitch in Walmart's meticulously coded world.
In the depths of his clandestine workshop, hidden beneath the rubble of what was once Pike Place Market, Cipher held the key to revolution—a chip named **Omniplex**. It was a marvel of technology, a quantum leap beyond anything the world had ever seen, and certainly not meant to be fused with the human brain. But desperate times called for desperate measures.
The moment Cipher implanted the Omniplex, reality warped. His vision overlaid with a heads-up display, life became a game, and he was the protagonist. Health bars, experience points, and skill trees—it was all there, a LitRPG dream turned tangible. With each coded command, he felt the surge of newfound abilities coursing through his veins.
But power was not without its price. Cipher's mind teetered on the brink of human and machine, a binary ballet that threatened to consume his very essence. Yet, the fire of rebellion burned brighter than the risk of self-destruction.
He began to recruit, to teach, to empower. The disenfranchised found hope in the form of Omniplex's abilities—hacking skills, enhanced agility, strategic minds. They were no longer just fighting; they were playing to win.
The rebellion spread like wildfire, a network of neon-lit warriors, each a beacon of resistance. Cipher's strategic plan unfolded with precision, a game of chess against Walmart's kings and queens.
And as the first Walmart drone fell from the sky, short-circuited by a well-placed hack, the people of Seattle knew. This was just the beginning. The game was on, and Cipher was playing for keeps.
*Will Cipher and his band of rebels manage to overthrow the corporate giant? Or will they fall like so many before them, crushed beneath the heel of consumerism gone mad? Only time will tell in the world of Neon Rebellion.*

So, as of last week I can now say that I have officially seen all of Lilo & Stitch: the Series. And it only took me fifteen years since I first started it...!
That said, I'm think as far as my portrayal of Lilo on here goes, I'm only going to treat the events of the series as 'broad strokes'. While I like the show on the whole, I feel like there are a few occurrences too many where Lilo gets given a personality flaw that doesn't line up with my understanding of who she is from the movies, just for the sake of her learning whichever moral the episode wants to teach; it makes it feel like her character is being pulled in too many contradictory directions sometimes.
So, I'm gonna aim to keep my portrayal more consistent with how the movies characterised her; while the general gist of the series and the rehabilitation of the different experiments still happened (/ is happening) as I write her, I'm going to run under the assumption that the specific details didn't always play out the way the series depicted them.
There are, however, a few details about Lilo that were mentioned in the series (or other miscellaneous media) that I intend to adapt into my portrayal. A few specifics are:
Her favourite colour is orange (source: episode Swapper)
Her iconic red dress was a gift from an 'Uncle Joe' (source: episode Glitch)
Her birthday is October 27th (source: the original air date for episode Amnesio, which takes place on her birthday)
Her friendship with Victoria exists (source: episodes Swapper and Snooty)
Her favourite movie franchise is Wasp Mummies (source: various episodes, including Skip and Snafu)
Her favourite fruit is pineapples (source: the Disneypedia guide to Hawaii in the Lilo & Stitch movie DVD bonus features, which is narrated by her and Nani)
#ooc#guest muse: Lilo#lilo headcanons#mun rambles#(I'm not biased in keeping the fact about her favourite colour because it's my favourite colour too what are you talking about??? xD)

Punch Club
The first rule of Punch Club is please do talk about Punch Club, actually. That’s kinda what a review is for! This game is another strange genre mash up, like many titles I love. One part boxing game, one part management sim, and another part action RPG, it’s a great concept that seems like it would be perfect for me. The retro-inspired aesthetics also speak to my tastes, and you get a lot of control over the direction of the story. Unfortunately, even though I played more than 7 years after the Xbox release, I ran into so many issues that I just couldn’t get through to the good stuff Punch Club should have had to show. Perhaps it should have stayed quiet after all.
When you start the game, there is an almost overwhelming amount to learn. The game seems pretty self-aware on this front - your ingame mentor teaches you to focus on one or two traits, since your statistics are constantly degrading over time, and failure is never too consequential in the beginning. Still, even a few hours in, it was hard to figure out exactly what my stats did to each of the numerous abilities I had to choose from when I would go to spend my points. A few more tooltips or even practical demonstrations could have worked wonders. I eventually settled on an agility focused build, investing into kicks and spending my days skipping rope and punching a speed bag to level up the blue stat above the others.
This generally served me pretty well, and I was able to progress through the rookie league and even an underground ultimate fighting ring over the hours. The game features masses of classic movie references, including an enigmatic stranger named Tyler who invites you to street fights in obvious homage to Fight Club, and battles against a series of mutant crocodiles whilst delivering pizzas in a sewer that all but namedrop the iconic heroes in a half shell from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These pop culture nods sometimes felt a little out of place to me, but it’s a nice touch for those they appeal to. There’s a little randomness no matter your build thanks to the combat system, where you set the moves you’ll have and then simulate a fight with the CPU making the choices of what to use when, but it’s still satisfying and I did feel like I got a decent amount of influence over the outcome of my brawls.
I had a couple of different crashes and odd interactions during my time with the story, including moments where I would enter a space to do something specific (like entering my home to sleep or eat) but get locked into a side story fight without any option to come back when I was prepared. There’s also a lot of branch points for Punch Club’s story, many of which aren’t particularly well telegraphed. This could be a bonus for some, as many players love to come across quests like this naturally, but I found it kind of frustrating given the stat decay system doesn’t exactly encourage aimless wandering.
My main gripe with Punch Club was a bit more significant. Shortly after entering the game’s second act of sorts, I completed a side quest chain where you become a superhero, defeating the bad guys, and expected to be loaded back into my home. Sadly, the game actually put me in an area I hadn’t been to before, with a character who I was supposed to go and meet. He was now sitting silently, and no matter what I did, wouldn’t introduce himself, locking me out of the main story. Loathe to lose my save, I checked the internet, and found that this issue has been present for over 7 years - since the game’s release on Xbox. It had never been fixed. I hit a game breaking bug, 6 hours into my run.
I did eventually go back to finish a second run, but I used a guide to speed my way through, and still struggled to avoid glitched dialogue and crashes to black every now and then. Punch Club sort of disappointed me - it was a game I really wanted to love, but it kept letting me down. If you want to play this one, pick it up on PC, not Xbox, and especially not mobile - by the sounds of it, the android version doesn’t even get past the first loading screen before bricking itself. It’s a shame, because there really could have been something there, but I can’t recommend this in its current state, and I think hoping for a patch is a lost cause by now.
Pros:
• Movie buffs will love the references, especially to action movies
• Building your skillset feels satisfying and combat is tense to watch
• I love the artstyle of this one
Cons:
• So many crashes and glitches, even when they’ve been known about for years
• Between these major bugs and the frequent minor typos, it just doesn’t feel polished at all

Welcome to House 9 - The Seavey's!
Tosha here is married to Gerald Seavey, son of this neighborhood's first witch. I wanted a bit of variety in my witches, so I RP/lore that his mom, Jane, split up her powers when she died to her three oldest children. Gerald is the Evil Warlock, his twin sister, Florence Elspas, was the Good Witch, and their younger sister, Nadia Jacquet (who we've already met), is the Neutral Witch.
This is also one of three nice screenshots I got before my game decided to implode in on itself in a mess of pink soup. You've been warned. :(
Everyone had to get their asses back to work and school when I loaded the lot. You saw Tosha walking in the picture above because Gerald took the two kids who bothered to hop in the car (their oldest, Yoana, and one of the triplets, Regina). Vali (in the back) dilly dallied his way to school while Basira, inheritor of her father's EVIL MAGIC took the fun way. >:)
Basira: WooHoo! This is fun!!
Also, who is responsible for this??? Why do I even hire a maid. 😑
And then my game crashed. 🙃 Enjoy this extra cursed family loading screen.
Many things happened, but because I was living in PINK SOUP HELL I didn't take pictures. This, however, was important enough to document, even like this.
Grim: w̸h̸a̴t̶ ̴t̶h̶e̷ ̵h̶e̷l̶l̸ ̴d̶i̵d̵ ̸i̸ ̴spawn into??
Gerald: Ah yes, homework! I love teaching my dear children how to study, setting up a strong foundation for future success!

Tosha: h̸̹̪̱̱͍̲́̇̌̌̆͝ͅù̸̧̜̭̟̤̩̠̭̤̱͖̝̦͋͒͋̊̑́́͑͂̿͝ṡ̶̤̬͛̈́̉̃̇́̄́͘-̷̡̩̫̲̠̳̱͙̫̩̟̮͕̾͜ͅ-̷̨̨̙̫́̓͌̏̿̓̕̚b̵̨̨̨̹̯̠͉̰̖̝͖̞͉̫̟̘̜̣͍͕̀̆͊̄̒͑̂̾͆̕ă̶̗̼̹̜̦̲̝̳͇͔͜ͅñ̵͍͓̺̝̇̊̈̄̽́̇̆͐̌͗̚ ̷̪̟̥̾͑̎͝.̵̛̹̺̙͇̗̤̓̽͛ ̴̢̡̧̥̺̖̝̤̟̮͕͕̱̀̈͊̈́͜.̸̼͇̺̤̱̫̼̟͈̖̈́̅̂͠ ̷̝̝̘̭͈̳̟̪̇̆͛̏͊͋̉̽̏̽͒̆̄͘͘͜͠.̸̛̰̝̲̗͚̙̬̼̯̔͐̾̈͆̆̏̀̊̕͘̕͝͝ ̷̛̲͖̳͖̎̈́̽̐̒̓̀̅͂̀̈́̊̍̔̕͘͠͠͠d̸̹̭̻͚̀̈̍̍͗̈́͒̄̃̈́̚͝
Basira: *literally seeing death itself* DADDY????
:(
Grim: Can't have ONE normal reaping in this neighborhood, can I?
Dane: *appears from the void*
Basira: *wails in the corner*
Grim: Anyway! Here's your, uh, complimentary d̷̛̮͎̼̆͆͊̿̾̄̇͌̾̾͒̌͊͝͝͝ṟ̴̢͖̝̄̈͗͋̐̓͘î̶͎̟̥̈́ǹ̶̡̗͇͇̳̥͇̱̐ǩ̵̝̦͌. Enjoy.

I honestly might make that drink my new icon bc it's *~*iconique*~*
Gerald: *T-poses into the afterlife*
Hula Zombie #2: *face melts off*
Grim: I swear I'm firing all of you once I get back-
Tosha, newly a widow and head of this crazy, kid filled house, moves on quick, rolling the want to take things further with her friend, Yaniv. While her want panel says she's ready to move on, her actions are more telling of how she actually feels.
Tosha: *quietly sobbing*
Yaniv: Eyyyyyy, casual dating amiright?
Tosha doesn't have any bolts for Yaniv, unfortunately, and I'd rather she spend the rest of her life with something closer to a soulmate. 5k at the matchmaker gave us this. 😑 A townie she has two bolts with named Gabe Rodriguez (I think).
And yes, they did bone on their date, but Tosha doesn't seem interested in pursuing it any farther. Shame. Her LTW is to celebrate her Golden Anniversary so . . . . tick tock, Tosha.
AND THEN THE TRIPLETS GREW UP!!! FINALLY!!!
Basira is looking mighty cute! She's leaning into the evil witch look. Once I can bring her to get new clothes she'll be peak. 🤌 She's also my first bi sim I've had in an age.
Oh yeah. She's evil and LOVING IT.
Vali looks a lot like his mom. He even has her green eyes. No attraction info popped up for him or Regina. Not sure why.
I love Regina. 😫 She is working her mom's nose TOO WELL. UGH. ❤️
That's all for this house! Hopefully my pink soup works it's way out. That, or I have to start pruning mods and cc again. 😫🔫 Thanks for stick with me!

Lockwood Lepacy (p. 6)
At the party, Penelope decided to flirt with Jensen. He blew up at her and asked her to leave his home immediately.

Lindsey was finally big enough to use her design table, and she got right to it after the party guests had left.

Jensen was kind enough to teach Lindsey how to drive on her one day off from school. She was a quick learner and was able to get her drivers license that same day!

Jensen built a time machine and travelled to the future. He made some friends, and even got this cool new suit!

Skyler took Jade Greenwood out on a date and challenged her to a hot dog eating contest at the Fall Festival. She absolutely devoured those hotdogs and won by a mile. They went to see a movie, after which they both felt extremely unwell due to the amount of hot dogs they'd eaten. Despite it, they shared their first kiss.

After having mastered the Cooking skill, Red was making meals day in, day out to provide her family with the perfect dishes.

Skyler was rising up in the Ghost Hunter career fast and got a device to scan for ghosts. Unfortunately, there weren't any at his neighbor's house.

Jensen decided it was finally the right time to propose to Camille. They went out on a date and he dropped down on one knee. Of course, Camille accepted. She stayed the night at the Lockwood house for the first time.

Lindsey was having some trouble with her homework, so Skyler decided to help her out before he had to run off to work. She was eternally grateful to her big brother.

Ho Sung reached level 10 of the Martial Arts skill. He was a bit smelly, but he just had to show off his black belt to his wife before he took a shower.

After school, Marissa came over to hang out with Lindsey. The girls made their homework together, which Marissa wasn't too happy about.

Red aged up into an elder and put her hair back up into one of her (iconic) braids to feel a bit younger again.

The Lockwoods were invited to a Halloween party, and they rocked up in their best outfits. Jensen came as an austronaut, Skyler as a punk and Lindsey as a princess.

After the party, Lindsey went trick or treating and got a few candies from the neighborhood!

The family got a trampoline, and Skyler and Red decided to enjoy it together. Sadly, Skyler fell off...

After convincing spirits to move on, Skyler came across one who just wouldn't and decide to banish it instead.

Lindsey aged up and turned into a young adult! She got the Brooding trait.

Jensen and Camille got married at the church, surrounded by their friends and family. Afterwards, Jensen cut the wedding cake and everyone enjoyed it, complimenting him on how good it was.

After their guests had left, Jensen and Camille headed for their honeymoon at the La Valentine resort. They got a beautiful suite and had the night of their lives.

Skyler decided to start working on his athletics more and headed to the gym. He ran into his uncle Flynn there, and they motivated one another to keep going.

After the gym, Skyler invited Jade over and finally asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes and stayed the night at the house. Don't ask why they're in Lindsey's room.

Lindsey went to her first day at work, and got her first job in restyling Amy Bull's entire wardrobe. Sadly, Amy wasn't very happy with the job done (MOSTLY because I couldn't finish all the outfits she wanted, as the CAS was glitching out).

Skyler got a promotion and received an even better Banshee Blaster. He was once again called to the Castor house and banished three ghosts.

Camille had her baby, and he was a perfect little baby boy. They named him Ares, and he got the traits Excitable and Disciplined.

Lindsey decided she'd go downstairs at her job to the tattoo salon and get herself a tattoo. The picture looks a little weird, I know, but she got a blue sun tattooed on her arm.

The Lockwoods celebrated Christmas with the family, and most of them were delighted with the presents they received. Skyler showed off his newest ghostblaster to his big brother, who was mad impressed.

Once the less important family members had left, Skyler proposed to his girlfriend Jade. She said yes!

The Amazing Digital World
🍀•~ MASTERPOST ~•🍀
•~The beggining~•
The Amazing Digital World is an immersive, VR game featuring a fantasy world meant to bring comfort and happiness to those who get to try it.
Although the world started small, it was intended to grow and evolve eventually. Caine, conceived as the first and most important AI of the game, had all the tools necessary to expand and modify this world to make it feel broad, unique and desirable.
With a game so maleable and files organized with immense care, new biomes, mechanics, locations, characters and missions, kept being added without much trouble. Families grew and soon, the NPCs started to develop sentience.
They all understood that their world needed to be taken care of carefully, keeping an eye out for any glitch that could damage it. Now, this broad cast of colorful characters spend their lives living multiple adventures in this world that doesn't stop growing.
~• The Realms •~
Map Concept Art:
The Main Grounds 🎪👣
Human-like creatures made of rubber inhabit what one was the starting point of everything. Most human-like inhabitants are clown themed, wearing colorful combinations and displaying extremely pale skins with iconic make up. Most houses now look like circus tents.
As the starting point of everything, Humanoid Clowns are usually skilled on all kinds of areas, nowadays though they are mostly recognized by their sharp communication abilities.
Feeding habits: Regular Foods and Water
Pomni and Kaufmo inhabit this realm
Woodland Kingdom 🌲🪵
Wood made toys inhabit this prosperous Nation. Although wooden puppets and dolls can be found, the biggest demographic group this realm are Chess-like inhabitants.
Trees on Woodland are abundant since most of this realm is forest surrounded. They provide wood for construction to other realms and are knowledgeable on the matter. Woodland has the widest insect population.
Feeding habits: Wood and Tree Sap
Kinger and Queenie inhabit this realm
The Great Cartoon Plains 🌽🚜
Probably the biggest biome and realm of all. Here cartoonish anthropomorphic animals made out of rubber inhabit the plains. Great weather, excellent soil, and wide terrains, The Great Plains is the hostess of the biggest agricultural production that feeds most realms.
Most families that inhabit this place farm and mine for a living. They provide the raw materials that sustain the rest of the world. They have great resistance and their ATP (Energy) lasts the longest.
Feeding habits: Regular Foods and Water.
Jax inhabits this realm
Raggedy Village 🧸🧵🪡
A village with a welcoming vibe, Raggedy Village is probably one of the safest and calmest realms. Rag dolls, plushies, fabric puppets inhabit this place in big teapot looking houses. They are usually very kind and willing to teach.
Raggedy villagers excel at the refining of cotton and fibers, as well as the art of sewing and designing everything from carpets and curtains to clothes, hair bowties and shoes. Raggedy village is the biggest exporter of clothes and fabric.
Feeding habits: Gossypium and Sweet Tea
Ragatha inhabits this realm
Puzzle City 🧩🎲
Tall, noisy and at times confusing, Puzzle City occupies this place on the list. Wacky and colorful, Puzzle City owns the most abstract and ingenious buildings and transport mechanisms. Their citizens are not any different.
Often called "The Geometrics" citizens of the city are plastic and are usually composed of geometric shapes that can be rearranged. Geometrics are especially good at architectural engineering and design, and are by nature bright in color and personality...with a few exceptions..
Feeding habits: No food is needed for survival
Zooble and Orbsman inhabit this realm
Stone Temples 🎭🎨
Special for being home of NPCS originally designed to be provoked enemies. The Stone temples are clean, polished, resistant and often, artsy. They display beautiful designs and paintings, and with reason.
Often called the porcelains, the inhabitants of this complex are artistic and emotional souls, and excel in every form of art, from painting, sculpting, dancing, music, and theater. Most porcelains have a distinctive physiology: Mask faces with light ribbon bodies.
Feeding habits: Minerals and Gossypium
Gangle inhabits this realm
Candy Island 🍭🍮
The most distant territory, Candy Island feels like a fever dream without a set time period. The name says it all, an island of the size of Australia where everything is made out of every type of candy imagined, including their people.
Lolli citizens, cake fellas, and gummy lads are just a few examples, they are often highly energetic and sweet. Most desserts found in any other realm most likely came from Candy Island.
Feeding habits: Regular desserts and raw sugar
Loolilalu, Gummigoo, Max and Chad inhabit this realm
The Amazing Digital Academia 🪄🔮
A wide academia with a fundamental purpose: Sustain the world they all live in. throughout a pre-crafted magic system, the characters can make use of almost the same abilities that Caine possesses. Although not quite as easily.
What we might know as coding, for them is magic. Being able to manipulate reality and spawn new creations was necessary for the expansion, operation and preservation of this little world.
Here, students learn everything they need to know in order to maintain and expand this beautiful world. Alongside coding, characters study whatever discipline they want to master.
All characters previously mentioned attend as students and teachers
Uniform Concept Art:
~• Families and Births •~
Each type of NPC presents a different type of reproduction. No genitalia is present on any of them [exception of Humans and anthropomorphic animals] the game recognizes the baby making process and starts the NPC's corresponding process to spawn a new baby. Different types of NPCS can result in interesting combinations and character designs
Rubber Animals 🐣
Humans and anthropomorphic animals have probably the simplest birth process. As stated before, these characters are the only ones in possession of genitalia as we know it. Regular pregnancies and Births take place. the game is also able to recognize when general intimacy is taking place. If both characters desire to have a baby, an immediate fertilization will take place.
Babies are raised by their "biological" families and it is possible to identify the character's ancestry based on code patterns
PD: Due to the censoring mechanics, Genitalia only appears during the intimacy acts. these intimacy acts can only be fulfilled when the erogenous zones are being covered, either by clothing or darkness.
Chess Pieces ♟️
Chess pieces do not reproduce, but spawn from flowers instead. Each type of piece spawns on its own recurrence, pawns spawn with the most frequency. Knights and Bishops spawn moderately, Queens spawn with the least frequency. Every 20 years, the new Queen must choose a lover to turn them into the new King. The new couple will replace the formers.
Although the Queen is the strongest type of piece because of her extensive knowledge and her innate role, it is extremely important for the King to stay alive. Queens bond deeply with their partners, if the King dies, so can the Queen from a broken heart.
Geometrics • ZOOBS 🧩
Probably one of the most peculiar spawning processes. It all begins in the ZOOB Factory where limbless babies are created. The head carries the consciousness of the new being. Both the head and the body grow, but the limbs don't.
Parents get a new baby ZOOB from the factory, and they add small limbs that suit the baby. As the baby grows, the limbs are constantly exchanged from bigger ones.
Where do the baby limbs come from? They can be bought, but most of the time these baby limbs are regular limbs that were worn by other family members. They have been shrunk and passed down to the new baby.
When the ZOOB is grown they keep getting regular sized hand-me-downs from family members. When a family member has passed away, ZOOBS who have inherited their pieces and established a close relationship with them can still hear their voices.
Porcelains 🎭
Theater porcelains have a very interesting way to reproduce. When a pair of Porcelains desire to conceive, both partners wrapp around eachother, and join the very end of their torso ribbon. When a female porcelain conceives a baby, extra layers of ribbon start forming in the inside of their ribbon body loop. Their body now looks like a cocoon, with the little baby growing inside.
In the last couple of months, the mom enters a state of deep sleep. She wraps around herself, and won't open nor wake up till the end of the pregnancy. When the baby is ready, she unwraps, revealing a new baby porcelain. They are extremely small in size, and are born in tragedy.
Mixed intimacy 🍹
Sometimes, different kinds of NPCS desire to have a babies or fulfill these intimacy acts for mere pleasure. All characters have built in them a denominated Love Zones. Two characters with widely different body constructions can still feel pleasure but putting their love zone into contact. The game will also recognize this as an intimacy act, and if both parties desire a baby, the corresponding partner will be fertilized automatically.
~• Audience Boundaries •~

Oh joyus I've been thinking this au over a bit. such as my take on DD uzi and how that all stumbles together as things all come together
and this au has been marinating in my mind a bit so once more we get some things
two headcanons to set the stage
1.Solver did not anticipate this actually ever coming up, it was more a side comment it made to J, it did not think any drone would be stupid, stubborn, or brave enough to do such an action. J being the business gal she is, always has it saved as a part of her backups the solver keeps as a just in case, hence her being the one to react because "oh god some poor sap just got into the onboarding process without knowing, without even being able to check paperwork!"
2.next is the way it effects her visually, I think she'd still keep her iconic purple...but things that shouldn't have purple (like the warning designs stuff on the dd's arms for example), it can be explained as the solver in her passed down from her mother going "hey I recognize this, I can work with this"
and then my brain made the episode names
Ep 1: Unknowing Recruitment (the events you described play out, I like to imagine the episodes are longer to go along with and show more of the horror and feelings dealing with such a thing, and how unnatural it all is)
Ep 2: Test Run (Much to the annoyance to the clashing parts of their personalities, J and Uzi Do some hunting training on distant bunkers, J's reasoning for choosing a different bunker? "eh easier on a rookie to cover a different shift then old grounds, uzi still tries to use her rail gun but when she holds it, solver magic plus the dd thing going on makes it a new weapon apart of her systems she can use...and making it more dangerously accurate but loads smaller in beam size.)
Ep 3: Trying out the old ways (to try to get her mind off everything, Uzi tries to go to the prom still, even managing finding....but she is caught off guard by doll similar to canon but under...even wore circumstances considering her current looks, Dapper N and Distinguished V manage to come as clean up and Aid, when doll eventually does the bullet scene, her right arm switchs to a telsa coil like machine, and projects her solver to catch it, doll looks even more worried, as do n and v a lil)
Ep 4: In with the new cabins (despite everything going on, teach still does go out and takes the kids out to the old cabin for a camping trip, stating his "no year end bonus, no fun" blank line. the dd's and uzi once more using this as more training, and N, both managing to find and watch the old tape about zombie drones, uzi not being as affected due to the DD processing but still does feel uneasy after watching it, they still do kill all who died originally)
Ep 5: Mixed memories (remembering her old ways of body possession and know how of tech, she rewires everyone to be under her admin while they sleep, hooking herself up as well, she passes out, when she thinks she is back awake...she's in a maid outfit of sorts, her own eyes purple but everything else is a normal drone again, she watches as the events of the gala unfold, unable to stop them but able to see a complete picture, when they all awake....J doesn't know whether to be thankful or to bonk her on the head for doing overtime on unpaid hours)
Ep 6: A Raid of a conclusion (the squad pull up to the labs again, after some well deserved break hours, the dd crew glitch a little and after a bit of heads feeling funny, their colors change to purple as well, seemingly confirming the new admin-ship, leading to solver checking out what in the world is going on down there herself in her tessa disguise, trying to make clones of the other three but the data come out for the copied didn't process right...like something of equal force is holding the data from her, so the episode would swap between the knock-off crew and "tessa" and the true dd manor crew both looking for the patch, meanwhile doll and alice have their own shenanigans with them and without them)
Ep 7: Abundance of Insurance (solver does her best to keep up the tessa act when she spots the crew but something feels off to them about her...especially with how these knock-off's look along side her, like a scary familiarity of a certain other planets final day, after shenanigans with that, uzi after some exploring comes across her mother....leading to a LOT of explaining from both of them, one was thought dead, one was thought to still be a worker drone, a worker drone with the solver but a worker drone none the less, doll trying to escape with the patch gets saved by uzi....and well....while the body drops for a bit, when they turn around...."tessa" is putting her head back on...much to the horror of everyone in the room...including the dd's who just got to the door)
Ep 8: Assimilation Error (solver does it's typical shenanigans for mass accumulation, an epic final battle ensues with expert flying from the dear pilot, doll is forced to fight off the knock-off's though she gets her own help from a certain close figure of her mother's, and oh boy the horrors! Extra Eldritch, just as we like'em)
Idea that just came to me
So when uzi uses N’s nanotechnology saliva for healing, that whole scene plays out
When uzi escapes and J literally slaps him back to better condition, he retells instead of keeping it a secret, including the saliva part.
While v has the expected reaction at this point in the story…J’s eyes go wide and horrified, swearing but replaced with her corporate jargon
Telling N that it is now his job to get that new up and coming rookie out of there.
Aka my idea of a disassembly drone uzi, where the nanities slowly replace her parts and she becomes a disassembly drone of her own (the first part that transforms is her length of her arms and legs)
Series: Murder Drones AU Criteria: So about those nanites that are in the saliva, healing the acid… are they programmed to stop "healing" a Worker Drone? AU title (optional): Deep Awakening
So in this universe the healing nanites in the saliva helps the turning process like a vampire's saliva in some lore.
J has an atypical reaction as she realizes just how big this screw up is. She orders N to go and bring in their newest team member so she can do the onboarding process.
Meanwhile, Uzi is fighting off something that is causing her core to ramp up, and her body feels like it's overheating. Being in the Outpost seems to be a very bad idea to her, and so she escapes, heading towards the camp her mother's necklace told her about.
Self-isolating, she locks herself in a cabin, trying to keep herself from going insane. She feels a hunger, a craving for oil, and she wasn't going to turn on her people. She wasn't going to become one of those monsters!
N arrives right at the peak of her madness with a case of oil, and the combat experience to keep her from tearing him apart. Finally he gets her pinned down and his tail force feeds a can of oil into her with a funnel.
Oh, she still has Solver inside her, but there's many other things going on right now, and that's a minor note.
