Magic Ramblings Incoming

Finally got to test out my Yuriko ninja commander deck today, and it’s working better than I could imagine. I came very close to winning today ina three-way game. Beat a Morophon deck running spirit tribal by souping up Yuriko with Heirloom Blade+Smoke Shroud+Glen Elendra Liege and crashing through with her flying and intimidate given to her by my Vela on the board to finish with a few hits of commander damage. Unfortunately the other opponent with the Mathas deck held me off with a combination of Dread and another enchantment that forced me to pay 2 life for each creature I attack him with, which gave him just enough time to slap an Overwhelming Splendor, clear my board with Torment of Hailfire, and finish me off with his creatures. Still though, the evasion works great in my deck. With all the ninjutsu triggers, I was able to bounce and recast creatures with ETB effects for added value. Plus Vela got to ping everyone else whenever I bounced my things back too. I didn’t win, but I had fun piloting the deck, and with a few tweaks it should be pretty amazing!
