I've fallen into a Glee black hole this past couple of weeks - I'm talking listening to the songs, youtube videos, fanfics, interviews, the whole nine yards (except watching the episodes again because I just can't ok?).

But the thing is that as the seasons go by you can see the relationship between the characters get affected by the interpersonal relationships between the actors. Like the roll of eyes, or just some faces that you can tell were not scripted.

So considering this, and the fact that I saw at least 3 interviews with Kevin and Jenna complaining about everything Glee (they are effing hilarious btw), I hope that at some point - when we are all old and wrinkly and Glee is a thing in the past- we get a book or something with all the juicy details... or I could also go for dinner with Kevin and Jenna.

Point in case, these are some of the questions I want answers to:

1- Did everyone hate Lea from the beginning or did the thing go down after seasons 3-4?

2- Why did Dianna leave after season 3? And I don't want the PR answer.

3- Please, explain the whole Glee Concert debacle about Dianna's t-shirt and also, what the hell was going on during Somebody to Love?

4- I want to go over all the interviews from the Glee concert era and have someone explain to me what the hell was happening because there is so much going on in those things lol

5- How drunk were all of them during the Golden Globes?

6- Did Dianna take Jack Nicholson's water bottle?

7- Were there any relationships that would completely destroy the internet if everyone found out?

8- Was "the contract" real? (if you know, you know)

9- So during this interview with Jenna, Kevin, Heather, and Naya, they are asked to write down the messiest things of Glee and Kevin asks if in the series or in real life. They give the answer for the series, but I've been dying since then for the other answer. I want to know the messiest irl-thing that happened during Glee.

dark!edwin - based off of him realizing that maybe using spells a little more frequently can get him the results that he and the agency needs. "a good detective does what he must to complete the case" "it's just one spell"

dark!charles - based off of his anger and jealously towards anyone who tries to mess with edwin. it's almost like a yandere situation but he's also just willing to be violent and maybe also cause some deaths. "stay away from edwin" "i'll poison you with the flower you gave edwin"

You murmur in your half-sleep, turning your face away from the light into your pillow. Is it already morning? You feel like you’ve gotten about thirty seconds of sleep, limbs still tired and heavy and—

And—

And immobile?

Your heart catches in your throat. You try and wiggle your fingers, but they’re like marble, rigid and rooted. “H—h—”

“It would appear that our subject is awake at last.”

You turn your head so fast your neck burns. Standing on either side of your bed are two teenage boys, one in a suit and bowtie and the other in a dark red polo. An alarm bell goes off in your mind, and you try and focus even as polo boy passes a whole-ass dagger to bowtie boy.

For a moment, your vision shifts. The world skews, distorting diagonally, but the two boys don’t skew with it. You can see through them, though, and it dawns on you: this is a haunting. You blink, and the world goes back to normal.

“Listen,” you croak, “this doesn’t have to end badly.”

Polo boy grins, and your stomach turns. He’s charming, this one, with his easy smile and mobile expression. His nonchalance is more frightening than the other one’s calculating stare and giant book and the faint magic clinging to his fingertips.

“Don’t worry,” polo boy says. “Just hang in there, and you’ll be fine.” He pats your shoulder, voice dropping to a mock whisper. “Edwin’s gotten real good at this. It should only hurt… a bit.”

“Charles, as much as I appreciate your bedside manner, would you kindly step back?”

Bowtie boy—Edwin—sets his book down on your bedside table. You crane your neck, and you can make out just enough words to make your skin crawl.

Enough.

As Edwin begins to chant, you let out a slow breath and reach deep for the pit of power that spools in your chest. Magic uncurls like a cereus flower at night, flowing through you like a second blood, and as Edwin’s voice rises to a crescendo you bolt upright, hands clamping instinctively around his throat to silence whatever spell he’s casting.

Edwin reaches up and clutches your wrists, eyes wide, sputtering. Dark glee courses through you, and you laugh breathlessly.

“I told you,” you tell him, “this doesn’t have to end ba—”

CRACK.

Your body crumples, and you watch in horror. That’s you, you, sprawled on your bed, blood seeping onto the pillow from the back of your head, eyes glassy, chest unmoving.

You—

What?

Charles drops his cricket bat and vaults over the bed as Edwin peels your spectral, trembling hands from his neck. There’s no sign of your chokehold left, just pale skin. You sit heavily on your bed, dread settling where your power used to be as you stare at the two boys who’ve killed you.

“Hm,” Edwin says. He fixes his collar and fixes you with a sharp glare until Charles grabs his shoulders, brown eyes wide with concern. Edwin’s expression softens at once.

“You okay, mate?” Charles asks. His hand hovers by Edwin’s neck like an uncertain bird until Edwin takes it tenderly.

“Yes, thank you.”

The two of them turn to look at you in eerie tandem. Charles looks like he’d happily murder you again; Edwin just looks disappointed. You don’t bother trying to stand. Whatever they were trying to do, they’ve failed, and there’s no fixing it.

No fixing you.

Somewhere to your left, a blue light starts to glow.

“Time to go,” Charles says, tucking the book and bat into his backpack.

Edwin phases through your closed door, and before he goes, Charles looks at you again with a horrible smug meanness on his face that makes you lean away.

“Go to hell,” he says, and you tremble as he follows Edwin out.

Go to hell?

It’s not a threat.

It’s a promise.

oh GOD. talk about ancient history ... i first joined the tumblr rpc back in the early 2010s. in the GLEE fandom of all places (hi @theoriginalbadass icb we found each other again) so i'll preface this answer by saying a LOT of the "trends" i remember were heavily influenced by where on this hellsite i was. and if you can't tell by the tone of my disclaimer? most of them were BAD. but i'll try and be balanced here by giving one negative and one positive 😊

the GOOD: 👏 magic 👏 anons 👏 HELLO ??? i will never forgive the hate filled assholes who forced most people (myself included) to turn off the anon function on their blogs for their own safety because this was the one true JOY of the rpc. i remember having so much fucking fun being on BOTH sides of the equation when silly hours popped off - spamming my mutuals AND being spammed by them. it was deeply UNSERIOUS and led to all kinds of crack filled chaos and i just miss it a lot okay ???

the GROSS: bruh, the whole era of celebrity rp. not VERSES, which are fine (hey i have one). i mean where like, people weren't playing the characters from a show they were playing the actual real life ACTORS. i came across so fucking many rp blogs of the glee cast members where they were shipping with other cast members and. dude. i shouldn't have to tell you that you don't get to write REAL FUCKING PEOPLE in rp ?!?! that's so gross and creepy and i can't imagine how these poor people would feel if they EVER found out about it. i mean it was bad enough that it happened in speculation in the tabloids but people PRETENDING TO BE THEM ON THE INTERNET WRITING SMUT BETWEEN THEM AND THEIR COWORKERS ??? 🤮🤮🤮

Gosh, I know the drama about Lea Michele and Glee and then the drama surrounding Funny Girl revival which is such a hot mess. Beanie Feldstein shouldn't have gotten the job but nepo baby everyone!!!! Everyone raging over eventual Lea Michele casting is also woww especially because the Glee behind the scene problem was still quite fresh on public's minds.

After watching POTO then I also know Ramin is the male lead. Man, I keep gasping and wtf-ing watching the recap of the drama (as in the drama surrounding not the musical itself) on youtube videos and then reading through comments and threads on reddit. I feel slightly bad that people especially on reddit were gossiping everything about Funny Girl and they open every Ramin's cards there including the Rierra thingy which I honestly wanna know more and now I sort of know more but at what cost (sigh). I still have so many questions though but I don't know who to ask or even to talk about Rierra. Ugh, Amber Ardolino for fucks sake, I know she's an influencer but of all pics she could use as her pfp it's gotta be when she watched Harmony...haaa ofc. No wonder he took the Italy job, good for him. He looked so knackered.

I'm glad at least now it's over by the time I arrive to the fandom. He got booked af too, maybe thanks to this(?). Also, this is why you don't ship real person (but I already did anyway, several times hehe).

This is beyond the "shippers are crazy and things got blown out of proportion" problem because I've been in situation where I am the crazy shipper (and later realize it), I've also seen people crack shipping real people to disturbing level, I've shipped RP and saw it crumbling before my eyes too, and then I also in the position where I feel vindicated that my RP ship is real and going stronger and stronger whether it's right in my face or through something cryptical or easy to miss unless you look deeper. This is something different.

Who is Lark?

• OC x Canon ahead

• Lark is a perpetual who’s home planet is Wisterium. Wisterium is a large hive world that serves as a trade hub for the Imperium, and was once home to the Primarch Ursa Major and the XXth legion.

Adopted and raised into an organization of female spies,—The Ladies of Wisteria—, Lark’s one purpose from a young age was to gather intel and remain inconspicuous whilst doing so; Usually via putting on a feminine and elegant exterior. This however did not bode well for Lark, who knew from a young age that he was different from his sisters, and not in fact a girl as he had been taught to believe.

After lots of ups and downs, rebellions and beatings, he eventually submitted to the life style his Order had wanted for him. For his induction into the LoW, he drank the blood of The Starcrawler, an ancient being living within the core of Wisterium. This is where he gained his perpetualism from.

The draw backs to his new power where greater than anticipated, however. The idea of immortality was not only daunting, but later on it would be noted that Lark would forget more and more of his past the longer he lived. His mind was not build to live forever. He started writing journals.

A few years after his induction ceremony, Lark was given his first assignment. Like so many of his sister’s before him, he had been assigned to a recently found primarch, Konrad Curze, The Dark King. His job was simple: Act as a servant whilst gathering information on the down low, and reporting back to the LoW on his findings.

Unluckily for the LoW, Lark ended up falling for the primarch, and it seemed the feeling was mutual. Konrad was the first person who ever fully accepted Lark as a man, and following the start of an unexpected relationship, he cut all ties with the LoW, and started working for Konrad Curze as ‘The Huntsman’.

The Huntsman’s job was primarily rooted in conducting assassinations and keeping an eye on anyone who got too close, whether it be politically, physically, or emotionally to The Dark King. Despite the importance of his job, Lark’s role in the military hierarchy wasn’t very high, and he primarily did his work covertly; To outsiders he was just Konrad’s personal servant.

This changed during the Heresy when Lark became an important figure head. At first, remained loyal to Konrad Curze, but he later switched sides and rejoined the Imperium. Eventually, after Konrad was cast out into space by Sanguinius, Lark betrayed the Imperium yet again.

He spent the rest of the Heresy at Konrad’s side, up until the primarch’s death. Afterward, he wandered the galaxy in search of a new purpose. Over time, he began to forget more of his past and history; he had lived so long all his memories began to meld together.

In the 40th millennium he is the captain of a small crew of rogue traders who travel the reaches of space exploring and doing freelance work. Over time, his healing factor has gotten much weaker, and he takes longer to regenerate; He lost his left arm to a Keeper of Secrets.

Despite everything, his reputation as a ruthless assassin continues to proceed him, albeit in rumors and legends of a one-minded Huntsman who always did his master’s bidding with glee.

C3E40 - reaction

This episode gets one of the highest compliments that I can give: it felt so much like a C2 episode that my heart grew three sizes.

We got RP!  We got fun combat! We got exciting new location and NPCs! We got the cast being super giddy and silly with ad bits and burps and wanting to sleep over in the studio! (we got the slightly scruffy Liam for I think first time all campaign! ...but that’s just me being gross)

I can’t wait to see what we end up getting in terms of Imogen’s mother.  The concept that she could have been scrying on her growing up, or some other method of observing her?  Heartbreaking and touching at the same time if true.  Though, if true, that means that Liliana STILL considers herself to be MORE of a danger to Imogen, even with all the shit that Imogen’s been going through???  Marisha and Laura being super annoyed that she wasn’t saying her location?  PRICLESS.

None of the RP moments were big sit-down-break-throughs, but each of them added a layer to the PCs involved, or furthered understandings between the group, which is exactly what I’ve been craving.  I am really vibing with the C3 PCs, but I don’t yet have the same friend-pairings that C1 and C2 had.  I’m expecting to be getting more of this within the next 20ish episodes or so, as I think the 40s to 60s had big development with that.

LOL at the Gelidon fakeout!  I can’t see a reason that she would appear in C3 as she was so Wildemount-based, I’d rather see her pop in during the M9 reunion! XD

I was seeing some meta going around between last episode and this one about ‘Travis avoiding the plot’ or some BS like that.  I hope this episode clearly proves those people wrong.  Travis went full on in the second half!  A bit more information about his initial transformation (though some we already had) as well as a name drop!  I haven’t gone back to check, but wasn’t it something like Ruina?  Runia?  It was something that immediately reminded me of Ruidus, I’ll tell you that.  Plus the fact that Travis was clearly exploding with sheer glee with the description of the Gorgynei and their various were-forms.

HEY LET’S TALK LOCATION.  If you read my year one thoughts, you know that I’ve been a bit hit-or-miss with Marquet.  But this village?????  YES YES YES this is AMAZING AND I LOVE IT.  I hope we get to see more of the actual forest itself too, though that would pull away from Yios time, and I’m looking forwards to Yios as well.

Oh, I am QUITE pleased with the set for heavy rain/thunderstorm!  While I would have liked a bit more of the lighting flashes to be visible, I also understand that they must be very careful for possible epilepsy triggers, so this is probably the best compromise.   The quiet thunder rolls?  PERFECTION.  I wonder if this is the maximum setting for rain, or if they can increase it another notch or two?   Also, this once again makes me desperate to see what the snowy effects are. I want to see the Blizzard setting SO BADLY.

SO excited for Chetney’s challenge to come in A MONTH.  Combat?  Skill challenges? RP?  ALL THREE????? UGH CAN’T WAIT

I reach over to turn on the fairy lights then turn off the main room light and the soft glow helps hammer the last nail of exhaustion on me*

*I mumble, fingers still languidly play with his hair as my heavy eyelids close. I wiggle under him to get as close to him as I could; bare skin pressed against his own bare body. I can hear him whisper back an ‘I love you, too’ before sleep overcomes me.
