i was looking on the wikipedia page for lesbian sweeps week kisses and kyle xy was on there. the only time i have ever seen that show mentioned somewhere apart from your blog

but yeah there was a hilarious gay rights episode. Lemme see if I remember all the plots in play. abc execs straight up told mr. kylexy actor that he had to stay in the closet in real life (evil). then in show they do an anti-prom bc it turns out that the two straight frenemy besties can’t platonically buy discount prom tickets, which pisses off kyle’s adoptive brother’s girlfriend (she has lesbian moms). anyways finn from glee (rip) is mildly homophobic so kyle’s adoptive sister lori and her straight best friend close mouth kiss at anti prom. but kyle’s soulmatesister (with EVERY problem ever) (she needed to watch crazy ex girlfriend 💯) attacks lori because she wants her ex boyfriend (everyone assumes for several episodes lori got quote “hate crimed”, yes as a verb)

MEANWHILE the subplot is that lori’s said ex boyfriend DUMPED her because he’s best friends with kyle and is tornnnnnn tf up about kyle’s Mysterious Secret. and so tonight, at the gay rights anti prom, kyle comes out to his boy best friend as a Very Special Boy with superpowers

and. Yes. this was APPOINTMENT television in 2007 and a glaad award nominated episode and the show HOLDS UP!!! also a one episode character in s1 had his last name mispronounced as “dykeman” a couple times intentionally to bully him

In this post, I shall both make a personal confession and give myself an award.

Confession: by halfway through the Showdown, even I couldn't remember who most of the competitors were. I just posted their fics under their Showdown pseud, and didn't worry about it. When I sat down to write the reveal post, I had to check and double-check to be sure I was connecting the Showdown pseud to the correct Tumblr name. Ya'll picked a super organized person to run your event... you really should raise your standards. 😉

Award: I made it through another Showdown season without posting Glee, Broadway, Star Trek, or other non-related content to the Showdown blog. Go, me! (Maybe I'm a little bit organized.)

A mini history lesson...

How did a blog and podcast on Yaxley FC end so suddenly before a bit of a comeback?

Also, why wasn't this writer still the Editor of the official club website rather than creating his own content? ...

Well... grab a drink and settle down !

I think its fair to say that in order to move forward there needs to be a big of navel gazing historically.

I (never tire of telling people that I) won an award for Yaxleyfc.com back in 2015/2016 with so much content, all self created and edited, really working hard to push the narrative to people of the village that there 100% was (and is) a team worth backing.

However I started missing matches at this time due to the tiny children I had at home. It was harder to generate the content needed to keep the level of success going and I grew more frustrated.

By 2018 we had moved across town to Deeping and I was relying on others to do match reports for me.

When one was published with some unintentionally incorrect information there was no need for a member of the committee to take great glee on social media in pointing it out.I just stopped updating the offical site it there and then.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any football club and should be beyond criticism in my eyes.

My Dad, my Mums Cousin, a great Uncle were all still going to matches at Leading Drove but were not happy with the official website as it was missing fixtures, results and news as it was unmanned.

I created this site primarily to help them get the information on when the Cuckoos were playing and against whom.

The link got shared round quite a bit and for a while I was enjoying reporting on the matches I was at and not feeling pressure to create a word count on those I wasn't.

The club was really successful on the park at this time and I will always fondly remember the days in the Southern League. I had dreamt of watching Yaxley in that competition for decades.

The podcast came off the back of that and in Dan Cotton, Aaron Butcher, Dan Tortoise etc. we had guests who were all able to share their passion about the club.

Again though my content on the Cuckoos stopped overnight with the sacking of Seb Hayes last January.

So much has been said about this but its worth repeating that my loyalty is and was with Seb as a long term friend of the family.

Nothing will 100% put that right but water has passed under the bridge and I don't want to be boycotting the team I have watched since the late 1970s over this. I think after chatting to all involved in the whole matter I have moved on, but its certainly not forgotten.

It's most certainly not the fault of Simon Roberts or the current crop of players who are wearing the badge with a real sense of pride and passion. And I love that. I am backing to spending time lost in my thoughts wondering what it will take to unlock the potential of the club and get people down to watch.

Are there still lots of issues at Yaxley FC that need resolving for that to happen on a consistent basis?

For sure. But certainly where I can I am helping. And if you are in Yaxley and love football you should conside helping as well.

The ownership and management of Leading Drove remains something that needs a long term and clear resolution for YFC to grow and develop.

I think we can all agree that is a lengthy, bottom up process that will take time.

Trust can take a lifetime to build and a second to shatter, especially in the non-league football.

The club needs support now as much as ever as it approaches that 125th anniversary in just over a years time.

You hit the hammer on the nail. People want something to knock her off her pedestal. That became clear during the Law and LV situation. I literally read people saying they have been waiting for people to pile on her like they did for years. I can't imagine being so miserable and full of unchecked or undiagnosed problems to find glee in that situation. They have been trying to knock her off her pedestal since she was in her teens and it must eat them alive that it has not happened to her unlike most celebrities. If Challengers does not do well it's not the end of the world since no movie star has had 100% box office success. Those types of people reeks of racism, sexism, jealousy, mean-spiritedness, trying to seek attention by disruption and engagement farming. And to that anon who called certain blogs insecure when they bring up the very real nasty shit that goes on in social media about her, I just hope you heal from what ever keeps you from having empathy.

Yes, of course. This isn't unique to Z. It's I guess sadly human nature, or at the very least internet culture? There was an anon on someones elses page the other day talking about how in the old days people weren't nommed at awards shows unless they were deserving or some such thing and my gut reaction is that isn't true. Awards noms have always been controversial. Difference is we all couldn't get on the internet and bitch and rant and complain. We've all been given this platform, which causes people to not only to lose their humanity, but also everyone thinks their every thought is important and worthy of being platformed.

Which is a tangent from what you're saying, but In Z's case, especially people either are jealous or sick of her success or they just never liked her, which the latter would be fine if people were normal about it and not praying on her downfall and yes, I saw the same thing when the LV thing happened---people going on about how they just knew it and nobody is that good or "clean" in the industry and blah blah.

Similarly reminds me recently of that librarian guy Mychal who was just on the internet promoting libraries, librarians and reading and he was getting too much positive attention and twitter users had to start talking about seeing the darkness in his soul or what not and then he had to address it online, all while he's clearly dealing with his own mental health.

As for Challengers, I do think it's a big deal for Z industry wise just since it's her movie and I think people want to see if she can open a movie on her own, but it's not going to end her career either if it doesn't do well.

The Flash: The Legacy of the Race

How the frack do I sum up my seven years of watching and loving this show in one entry?

This show had its ups and downs for sure, but I like to say that this show is one of my comfort shows, one of the motivation that kept me going through school, one of the reasons I was excited to come home and everything else.

I've written blog entries about Flash before on here, but this last entry (or could be?) will be something special because it is about the story of how I came to love my favorite Scarlet Speedster, Barry Allen, also known as The Flash.

Review of the episode on the latter part of the entry.

To understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to read this part first. Can you do that? Good! (this is a reference from the show!)

It was around March 2016 (yes, I'm late but hey, whatever!) when I first watched an episode of the show when my dad got a copy of the first season. I remember distinctly that he was watching the 15th episode of Season 1 when I decided to watch it with him. Being a nerdy gal, I oddly enjoyed it despite the initial confusion that I felt watching said episode (this was the time travel episode) so I made a decision to watch the show from the beginning.

I watched the show from the pilot and was instantly attracted to the premise of the show and the new faces that I see (and some familiar too). I was excited to meet new metahuman villains every episode and all that jazz. I loved (and still do!) the storylines of the first couple of seasons! I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I basically experienced every emotion possible.

By the end of Season 1 going into Season 2, I decided that this show was going to be something special to me.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I honestly wanted to stop watching mid-season 6 because I just wasn't interested in the storyline but I pushed through because I knew that it will just get better from there and it did (not every episode is the best but hey, that's normal)

This is also a show that introduced me to my first-ever Hollywood celebrity crush and that is none other than Grant Gustin (I never watched Glee before this, alright?). What attracted me to Grant was of course, his handsome face and his talent in everything. He's a triple threat, he can sing (Running Home to You is still one of my most favorite songs ever!), he can dance and he can act (basically deserves every award!).

Saying goodbye to this show is like saying goodbye to my friends that I've been with for seven years. It's bittersweet, tears were shed for sure but memories are shared.

Now onto the episode review *WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK*

I admit that the finale was not a perfect finale, but it doesn't mean that I did not cry (I did!). The first half of the episode was kind of meh in my opinion but like it's not bad. It's like in the middle of bad and good but that mainly goes for the first half of the episode where most of the action stuff goes down.

The second half, however, was what had me crying! First off is because of the scene where Iris (Candice Patton) gives birth to he and Barry's (Grant Gustin) daughter, Nora (played by Jessica Parker Kennedy as an adult). The love that just emanated from both Iris' and Barry's eyes had me crying. It clearly depicted that they were just really stoked to see their daughter for the first time.

The scene that had me crying the most was when my most favorite female character Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) returned. I can't fully explain what happens, as it's confusing, but I literally screamed and cried when she returned. I was just so happy that she came back and looking back at some BTS pics, I failed to notice that Danielle's hair is back to the blonde highlights (because her other character had blue highlights) and that could've served as a clue but hey, it still surprised me clearly and made me bawl like a kid.

The last scene with Flash running around the city also made me cry because it was a sign that it really was ending. Think of it like when Spider-Man swings off of a crane or when Superman flies off planet and smiles at the camera, that's that feeling and I could not ask for a better shot to end the show than what was served.

To conclude, The Flash is a show that is not perfect as all shows are but I'm glad it ran the way it did and was not cancelled. It's been a beautiful run and every episode is an adventure. It's sad to say goodbye to one of my most favorite shows but in a way, it's okay and I'm happy that this show has become a part of my life.

Thank you to Grant, Candice, Danielle, Tom, Jesse, Carlos and the whole cast and crew of this amazing show for the happiness that you brought to me and as much as I did not like some storylines and some characters, I have to say that this show has become a comfort for me. I will forever treasure and love this show, because it was one of the motivations that I had to get through tough points of life.

This show was my lightning rod and I would always come running home to watch an episode. Those days may be over, but hey, I've got to keep running, keep moving and keep living.

Rally Day 2023

Last Thursday was Rally Day! As mentioned in my most recent blog post about the celebration of engineering seniors, Rally Day was my first opportunity to wear my graduation gown. Rather than pairing the ropes with our graduation caps, a fun Rally Day tradition is to wear a fun hat. There’s also technically a hat competition and some people really go all out with this. One cool part about this competition is that it is judged by alums (who at least for the most part are also Smith faculty members). The categories are Biggest Hat, Most Creative, Best Accessory, Best use of Smith Tradition, and Most Sustainable. As I didn’t have any fun or creative ideas, I opted to just wear my new hard hat. Most of the engineers I saw were also wearing their hard hats, but some did add some fun decorations.

Afternoon classes are canceled on Rally Day to make time for the ceremony. While I technically have Thursday morning, afternoon, and evening classes, I was fortunate enough to have them all canceled. I thus took the opportunity to sleep in and grab brunch with a friend. We next went to the Campus Center to see everyone’s hats. 

The main reason to attend the Rally Day ceremony is that it’s where the commencement speaker is announced. However, this big announcement is left for last. During the ceremony, the Glee Club performed twice and a number of awards were distributed including the Smith College medals (for alumnae), faculty teaching awards, and the Elizabeth B. Wyandt Gavel Awards (for Smith staff members “who have given extraordinarily of themselves to the Smith College community as a whole.” Upon receiving their awards, the recipients gave mini speeches.  

The next part of the ceremony was announcing the 2023 honorary degree recipients (Lulu Garcia-Navarro, Gabby Giffords, Susan Goldin-Meadow, Camara Phyllis Jones, and Kelly Link). Finally, after an hour and a half our commencement speaker, Reshma Saujani, was finally announced. While I’d never heard of her by name, I had heard of Girls Who Code which is an international non-profit organization focused on closing the gender tech gap that she founded back in 2012. While I haven’t personally been impacted by this organization, I did donate my Microsoft giving dollars to them two summers ago. As an intern, our giving portals are pre-loaded with $50 that we can donate to various non-profits. If you’re interested, you can read more about these amazing Microsoft intern benefits. 

After the ceremony I went to Amherst to grab dinner with some friends at Agrigato Sushi I ordered pork gyoza and miso ramen which were really tasty. I will note however that the restaurant was pretty pricy.

1 Day of Glee Blogs: kurthummeldeservesbetter

Every time @kurthummeldeservesbetter hosts a Glee Blog Awards (and I say every time because it has happened more than once now), I want to nominate her, but she won’t let me.

Enough is enough.

Alex, you deserve an award. For all the work you’ve put in to making our little corner of the internet a better, more fun, more positive place to be. You do so much for our fandom and it just feels wrong for all of that hard work to go unrecognized, especially when you do so much to recognize the hard work other people put in.

So, we’ve decided to not let it go unrecognized.

I took a page from your book and figured that the best way to do this would be to ask other people to say things so that I have to say less things. So I reached out to everyone who received a nomination for the 25 Days of Glee Blogs, told them my idea, and asked them if they had anything they’d like to say to you. Several people told me they were thinking about doing this exact same thing, so I guess I’m just lucky that I got around to sending out the messages first. SHIINA NIKI X baker! READER: Hyper realistic sweets/desert

context: Reader is known as MC. Instead of producer, you work as a baker in the ES hired by stuff. And you blog about it

You have no interest much on the idol entertainment industry and think they are different breed of people. Even so you work in the paradise of idols. Your too busy baking some hyper realistic cakes aside from work. They give you permission to use some scrap to do your hobby.

Today, it's under stuff so they ask some help from kind idols that are willing to help out exchange for food and such. The idol that come to your rescue is from the infamous idol group: crazy b--shiina Niki.

"hello!" "Greetings."

Thats how you and him meet. You and him went to work mode and no time to idle chat on work time. You sometimes heard about how crazy that unit and how those idol in the said unit... Is but a troublemakers.

"would you like some coffee?" You heard your coworker for the day says, you stared at him away from your the dough your working on and saw him smiling and chatting with customers that don't show much hate or bother to folks with bad rep like him.

'baseless rumors.' you thought as you move on to your work. Through you did make some cookies with chibi Design of the so called Crazy B to give to him later as an award.

The day ended with a success. And it's time to pay the temporary worker.

You went to get some cookies you made earlier.

"thank you for the hard work." You said as you give the payment and the cookie. " Ehh it's fine! But why the cookies? It's not that I mind, I appreciate it!" He happily says as he look at the cute packaging you made for the cookies.

"you did a good job today. So it's a simple award and it's from scraps..." You whisper the last part but he don't seems bother by it as he open the paper bag with cookies inside." Woahhh..." He take out each one of the design and realize it look like his friends and him. " Custom cookies!" He then take the Rinne Amagi cookies and innocently (ruthlessly) bite the cookie head off. And he grin as he eat the cookie. "Thank youuuu~~ it's so goooodd~~<3" he smiled happily. He seems very happy.

You did take note how he only did the bite the head off first for rinne Amagi cookies. You guess he probably like the red wild berry flavor cookies on the red icing.

You excuse yourself as you have stuff to do, like uploading the video of you making the cookies of crazy:b to your small vlog. He wave you goodbye as he left with his cookies almost haft eaten.

SHIINA NIKI

"Niki what's that your eating?" Certain chief heard his pest of a friend called out to him. "GAHH! RINNE!!" he almost drop the cookies that his trying to hide and eat for himself, when he is spotted by his friends who arrive at his part time job place. As always those three made his work place a hangout even through he says to go away from his work place if they aren't buying anything and just playing games in it.

"what's this? Huuuuhhh, so your eating all alone and won't share...huh?" Seeing that Niki is distracted from being taken off guard by him earlier. He takes the package from the hands of Niki.

Rinne open the pack and soon saw a headless custom cookie that somehow remind him of something. It made him piss for some reason.

"HEY, THOSE ARE MINE." Niki yelled out as he try to reach out for the cookies but rinne run away from him. HiMERU and kohaku saw the scene and quite interested but don't approach that quick till HiMERU saw the headless cookie.

"HiMERU think that's cookie have the same outfit as you in crazy roulette live." He smiled at Niki who now praying heaven that he won't be killed when rinne realize what he did. HiMERU watch the entertainment in a silent glee, how fun to watch some nutcase become a clown for a free time.

'OH WAIT HIS JUST EATING COOKIES. ITS NOT SOMETHING BAD!' He thought as he saw rinne slowly turn to look at him with a smile thay says it's his death day when he realize that Niki eat the cookie in that way to imply his sort of wanting to get revenge on Rinne in most simple way.

"Niki." Rinne says as he slowly approach Niki smiling so widely and innocently. "GAHHHH HELLLLPPP!" Niki screams as he enter a head lock by the monarch of bees. "GWAHAHAHA, IF YA WANT TO EAT ME YA COULD HAVE SAID SO." rinne chuckle while still locking the chief in a head lock.

The two have their fun time in the sideline but Kohaku who just saw a link shared by aira realize who made those as his haze landed on the cookies upcost.

"wow. It's da same cookie from rovey-han(aira)." Kohaku pickup a cookie with his chibi face on it. He take a picture of it and share it to Aira.

Kohaku: rovey-han. Look cookies.

aria: GASP. YOU KNOW THE BAKER!!?

After some loving friends hug of Rinne to Niki, which made him almost meet the creator. He was ordered to get some refreshments to pair with the cookies, those isn't his cookies anymore. They are crazy:b property now! With despair and reluctant Niki went to get the orders of his so called customers. He return to see his unit breaking the cookie base on himself in pieces, such sight made him felt chill hit realize it's just food. He knows it could been worse if it's really NIKI.

Everyone did enjoy the taste of the cookies, forward a thanks for the baker who made the cookies as Niki says it was a gift from someone. (It end up being tease being a cheater by Rinne because it was a gift by someone special he quoted) so the next time Niki went to work on the ES canteen and saw you. He is all smile and thanks you for the cookies and saying the compliment of his team mate about it too.

you enjoyed being complimented and people enjoying your baking, so you happily made a cake for him, he wanted to reject it But then he saw a hyper realistic cake of Rinne Amagi. He can't help but cry deep inside but says he would eat the cake on the canteen before he get spotted by rinne. The cake is so delicious he can't help but take bite after bite.

He don't realize him eating the cake from behind is recorded in a picture and posted on your vlog. The picture was seen by aira who later shared to hiiro who laugh how someone assassinate his older brother jokingly. Hiiro Who don't take the joke as a joke, then run to look for his older brother while almost making a scene along the way (aira regret his life choices at that moment)

Let's just say rinne saw the back view and realize quickly it's Niki. Niki went for another season of headlock that very same day but it's fine. The cake is worth it

Summary: Each soulmate pair receives a special number to them, and them only, on the day they’re born into this world. The placement on the body can vary, so people usually keep to themselves unless they fancy someone or it’s displayed somewhere public. How do you go around explaining to your best friend that he’s the one?

This blog recently turned 2 years old, and has reached about 300 followers, so thank you so much for those of you who have found me in the piles of other wonderful works :) I love you all from the bottom of my heart.

“Oh, do forgive me, Georgie,” you playfully shove him out of the way. He stumbles away from the shelf containing the last package of Fizzing Whizbees in time for you to snatch it into your hands. You hear him chuckle as he regains his balance behind you. It’s suffocatingly crowded with fellow students in Honeydukes, so he leans in close so you can hear him. 

His warm breath comes close to your ear, saying with a soft laugh,” At least share, alright?”

You tapped your chin thoughtfully as the smile plastered on your face turned into a smirk. You make your way to the cashier with George close behind. The candy in the box shake in your hands, and the decorative ring you’re wearing on your middle finger glimmers in the shop’s light. You call over your shoulder,” If you win the next match against Slytherin, I might.” 

This statement alone had George fist pump the air in satisfaction. Even if he lost, you would most likely share it anyways –– to cheer him up, of course. You two have been best friends since your first year when you cleverly evaded one of the twins’ pranks. It was a lucky guess, but the outcome left Fred and George tangled in a mess of burping up slugs for three hours. It was an easy friendship after that, other than the secret feelings you harbored for George, that is. 

Soon enough, the match came and the sight was an absolutely thrilling one. You watch as each player flies by, and each time the wind sweeps your hair in every direction. Fred and George are on a spectacular streak, and they never once miss the bludger. Thankfully you had a pair of binoculars and Lee Jordan’s commentary; the team was so small in the air that it was hard to tell what was happening.

Harry Potter was no doubt going to catch the snitch, and here he comes now swooping in underneath his teammates. He’s almost flat against his broomstick, urging it to go faster before Malfoy could get to the fluttering golden speck. All eyes are on Potter, and the boy is mere inches away. Just as his nimble fingers wrap around the snitch, another Gryffindor teammate drops from the air.

You can hear the subtle gasps from a few in the crowd who noticed. The Gryffindor team were too enraptured with Harry’s catch to notice that one of them was dropping ten, twenty, thirty meters to the ground. “George!” You cried.

As if sending a telepathic message to the other twin, though it is most likely he heard you yell as clear as day, Fred swoops down to save his brother from impact. You notice now that you're standing on your feet and leaning on the railing that separates you from your best friends on the field. You watch on in horror as Fred barely makes it in time. The breath you didn’t know you were holding finally escapes you, and your surroundings come back all at once. 

You hear the deafening silence and the sound of the wind blowing by. No one moves as they watch Fred land on the ground with George. It was Lee who ended the tension,” And with that, Gryffindor earns 130 points and has won the match…” 

All at once, everyone in the stands scrambles to get out. Elated with Harry’s catch and the twins’ safety, the student body goes their separate ways. You follow them as well and weave your way through the crowd to get to Fred and George. Panic fills your lungs, and every fiber in your body screams to make sure they’re okay.

“Fred!” You call out,” Are you two alright?”

“Yeah, no harm done to me,” he sighs,” –– Other than this git. A bludger whacked him straight on the side and he passed out on his ride down.” 

“It looks like it hurts… but it’s nothing Madame Pomfrey can’t handle, right?” You wince. You try to convince yourself that George is just sleeping a very deep, restful sleep.

“I reckon he’ll be fine, y/n.” Fred winks your way with a sly grin. “Visit him lots, yeah?”

Madame Pomfrey refused to let anyone in until she was done running some tests. When she finally let you visit, you rushed to sit next to George’s bedside. He stirred at your frantic movements and opened an eye to see you. “It’s not that bad is it?” He chuckles.

“She said that you’ve broken a few ribs, but you’ll be alright.” You smile. 

George sits up slowly, pretending to be in agonizing pain. You worry for a bit and reach out to him on instinct, but he laughs and tells you he’s okay. His torso is wrapped entirely with gauze over his clothes, and there are a few bandages wrapped around his forearms as well. Pomfrey had drawn a blanket over George earlier, so the white sheet still covered the lower half of his body. A moment goes by, and you hear a soft wheeze leaving George’s lips. “You don’t suppose my soulmate is into beaten up ginger-heads, do you?”

“Well,” you mull over your words. Pretending to take his question seriously, you answer,” they would have if you were Fred..” You laugh a little as you catch the glint in his eyes –– the mischievous one you had grown to love. 

“Oh, if only I looked exactly like that bloke.” He jokes. His head falls a little forward as he laughs. His gaze is drawn to his lap, and if you didn’t know any better, you’d say that he looked like those shy love interests in romantic muggle films. 

You notice that his fiery hair is covering his eyes, and your body compels you to get another glimpse of that wonderful boy’s face. Ever so gently, you reach your hand out and tuck a strand of his hair behind his ear. When your fingers curve around the back of his ear, you notice a few dark marks of what looks like a tattoo. Your eyebrows furrow together in confusion. You go to move more of his hair out of the way, but he turns his eyes to you. 

“Are you getting handsy with me y/n? Tryin’ to make a move, are you?” He smiles, but there is a small panic in his eyes as they frantically search yours. “You could’ve just asked me out, you know.”

“Is that your soulmate mark?” You ask.

“Maybe.”

“Well,” you huff playfully,” I might be able to tell you who your soulmate is. I might cry if your soulmate is Madame Pomfrey, though.”

“Is that a bad thing?” He asks, a playful tone in his voice.

"Georgie, please don’t tell me you have a thing for milfs.”

It takes everything in him to hold back his laughter. George pulls his hair back to reveal the numbers 224 etched behind his left ear. Your breath catches in your throat, but you try to hide your very obvious shock. 224 was a number you knew too well, and seeing that number reflected on your best friend’s skin meant that your deepest feelings were true. It’s okay to be in love with George because now... now there is chance he feels the same way.

Your mark is tattooed on the band of your middle finger, which is usually covered up by jewelry. You fidget with your rings nervously, trying to ground yourself all the while. George doesn’t pay too much attention to it when he says,“Fred has his numbers on his right ear. I might be the right-hand man, but he’s lucky enough to be the right-ear man.”

You laugh at his really bad pun,” Really? Out of all of the ear jokes, you chose that one?” 

“It made you laugh, didn’t it?” He nudges you with his shoulder, and you can’t help but giggle some more.

“Would you like to hear a fun fact?” You ask. You gulp down all of the fear that has started to swallow you whole. You are George’s soulmate. The idea buzzes in your head along with a million other thoughts. George nods for you to continue, and you fight the panicked urge to scream. “...In the muggle world, they have such advanced technology.”

“Yeah, dad would know––” George interjects for a second.

“The numbers 224 actually hold a meaning to them. It’s something like a code–– it’s related to their fancy devices I think? Anyways,” you take a deep breath. You remember vividly the details your friend went to great lengths explaining to you. 

“Your number is all kinds of special, y/n!” Mae beams at you. Her eyes twinkle in an amusing manner as she tries to prove herself. A soft thud could be heard when her hands meet with the common room table, and she quickly jumps to her feet. “Imagine, having such a fantastic number as that!” She exclaims with awe.

“I don’t understand?” You bemusedly remark. Why would numbers hold more meanings beyond your standard soulmate reason?

“My brother loves binary code, a certain muggle science,” she explains,” and he told me a few meanings. One of them being yours! Now, if only fate would tell us who your soulmate was...”

If Mae were in this room, she would be bursting at the seams from pure glee. You look into George’s eyes and say,” ...the numbers actually mean something along the lines of ‘Today, Tomorrow, Forever.’ It has to do with the bond you and your soulmate have together.“

He blinks once or twice before breaking out into a grin,” Okay, can you say it again but,” he emphasizes,” simpler, maybe?

“––it means that your soulmate will love an accident-prone idiot like you forever and always,” You joke halfheartedly.

The familiar gleaming smile he wore after a successful prank creeps up onto his face: one of self satisfaction and deserving of many awards based on looks alone. His smile is much gentler and you almost miss it, but a blush tints the very tips of his cheeks. “Oh? wait ‘till dad finds out that numbers have meanings to muggles. How’d you know all of this anyway?”

“Oh, it’s just something my friend talked to me about.” You dismiss his questioning gaze and clear your throat. Every second that passes makes you more and more anxious being around George, simply just by knowing you two are soulmates. It’s a dream come true, sure. But how do you go around explaining to your best friend that he’s the one?

“Are you alright, y/n?” George asks. “You seem real fidgety. Do you need to go somewhere?”

“Oh–– no, it just that,” you gulp. “Well.. I think left the Fizzing Whizbees back in my dorm room.” You lie. You know it’s in your bag with your other belongings, safely tucked away for later consumption. “Post-game snacks are essential, and I did make a promise.”

“Are you sure you left it there? I thought I saw it in your bag...” He leans over to find your bag, and sure enough, he pulls out the box of candy.

“Oh.” You look at him. There’s an awkward pause before he clears his throat.

“You’ve really got to get yourself together mate–– looks like Nearly Headless Nick showed you his neck hole again or something.” George jokes to lighten the mood, but he’s right. The longer you sit there and stare at him, the more you either want to slam your lips against his or vomit profusely. You feel pale and sickly; just enough to feel the twists and turns of your stomach. Is this what having butterflies feel like? He opens the bag of candy and offers you some.

You share the box of whizbees with him, taking one out and popping them into your mouth. It fizzes and jolts a little as the sweet taste melts on your tongue. “I think maybe Fred slipped something to me earlier,” you avert your gaze,” I’m not sure.”

“Yeah, sounds like Fred.” George grabs your hand and looks you in the eyes. He’s rubbing soothing circles on your hands, and it does seem to relax some of your nerves. He looks at you softly and gently, and all at once, your anxiety starts to melt away in his presence. You almost forget why you’re so worried in the first place. “You know I’m not going anywhere. If you have to take a massive shit, I’ll wait for you.” He says as he pats your hand reassuringly.

You erupt into laughter and shove him away. “And here I thought we were having a moment.”

“Nothing says true love like bowl movements, darling.”

As the laughter dies down, the somber feeling in your gut returns. It’s now or never, right? “George, I think I need to tell you something. I—“

Fred bursts into the door with Lee following shortly behind. “There’s my favorite twin!” He beams. He gets a disapproving look from Madame Pomfrey peering around the corner from her office. Fred doesn’t pay much attention, choosing to walk past her with barely a glance over his shoulder. George rolls his eyes as Fred happily trots over, spilling some liquid from two mugs in his hands. “—had to have Lee help sneak these in for the party, which you lot are missing out on.” He hands you a mug of butter beer and George, the other.

You decide to drop the subject even after George was free from the hospital bed. It’s a few weeks since then, and school has made you push those thoughts of pesky soulmates and true love aside. Of course, George kept looking at you funny, waiting for you to bring it up again. To his dismay, you didn’t.

“Alright everyone, class is dismissed.” Professor Sprout announces as she busies herself in setting up plants for the next day. It’s the last class of the day, and you couldn’t be happier. Repotting plants was hard work, and you were sweaty enough as it is. Beads of sweat dripped down the side of your face, and as much as you hated it, it did make for good eye candy across the room — namely George, although there’s a lot of dirt smudged onto his face too.

He’s cleaning up rather quickly so you call out to him,” Can you grab my rings, Georgie? They’re over there by my bag.” You had to remove jewelry in order to “safely handle” the creatures and wear proper gloves. Those of which you hastily pull off to wash your hands. The suds come and go as you lather and rinse away in the sink.

“Today, tomorrow, forever eh?” George’s deep voice rumbles in your ear. You jump a little at the sudden scare. “I think I like the sound of that, don’t you?”

You turn your head a little to the side and come very close to George’s face. You can feel his breath fanning on your skin, and his nose is just barely touching yours. You fear that if you blink, the sight in front of you will vanish. Every freckle that glitters his skin is so close you could count them like the stars and draw constellations between them if you wanted to. It’s absolutely breathtaking. Your body feels like it’s on a cloud— so feather light and airy— as he smiles at you. Your throat is dry; your tongue struggles to keep up with your thoughts. “...what?” You choke out. You cover your hands on impulse, but you know it’s too late.

“It means you’re stuck with me forever, y/n.” He grins. “Soulmate magic is no joke, you know.” He hands you your rings and walks beside you out of the greenhouse. You slip the rings on to your middle finger where it’s always resided, deciding to fidget with it a little.

Nothing should be different. You’re walking with George in the hallways like you always do, your hair is no different than yesterday, and class was the same as an other day. And yet your heart is beating faster and the sun seems to shine brighter. The grass is greener and the lake bluer than it was this morning. Words remain unspoken, but the truth is there. His fingers are interlocked with yours. 224.

While I take suggestions I don't really do requests, mainly because I don't want to disappoint and make sure I feel motivated to give something worthy of the ask. Sometimes I get burned out so I can't promise that. I like other things like classic movies/Disney movies, music from the 50s to today, baking and healthy eating, going to outdoor markets, game shows like Jeopardy, tv shows like The 100, Glee and The Nanny, animal planet, reading, family, napping and staying cool in the heat. I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 16 and though it affects me sometimes I think I'm doing pretty good. The Swiftgron Timeline Remastered

Hey Guys!  It’s Cam from @whatiwillsay

It’s high time the Swiftgron Masterpost was updated with more content and a cross reference of the Achele timeline and other newly learned information.

Now if you’re just looking to prove that Swiftgron is real to your friends click here for a more succinct summation of proof.  But if you want to read the sad, beautiful, tragic (no that’s not a Swiftgron song) story of Swiftgron, to go through the ups and downs, from the Hunger Games to SNL this is the place for you!

I was inspired to do this partially by this conversation.  TL;DR is there was some lively discourse in the fandom about who the breakup songs on Red are about.  

Personally, it doesn’t make sense to me for them to be about Dianna when the falling in love songs are obviously about her (mentions of green eyes, her name in the 22 liner notes, ect.)  For one quick example: the songs The Last Time and Come Back...Be Here were written and recorded right around the same time.

I’m sorry but I just cannot fathom those two songs being about the same person.  One is about the softest start to a relationship you’ve ever imagined - pining away and missing someone you barely know but are already infatuated with and the other is a gut wrenching heartbreak song about someone you’ve been on and off with for a long time.

Furthermore the Swiftgron masterpost and timeline was laid out by either Kaylors or general Gaylors, but no one who seems to have an in depth knowledge of Achele or even of Taylor’s relationships before Dianna, other than Emily which by all accounts ended in 2008.  

So I wanted to fill in all the blanks left open on the original Swiftgron masterpost to see if it’s possible that it missed anything.

Plenty of this data will still come from the original Swiftgron masterpost and shoutout to them for building such an amazing document!  It’s a great primer but it does gloss over a lot of events such as the Glee tour in the summer of 2011, the circumstances around all the early Swiftgron meetings, and the obvious Achele interactions through early winter 2012, and of course it’s missing all the weird late stage Swiftgron social media shenanigans.

I wanted to make this masterpost to be able to stand alone so I ripped some gif sets and other info (mostly on Achele) that I didn’t personally build because I don’t ever want anyone running into dead links.  If you see an edit or content you made that I haven’t credited please let me know and I will credit you or remove it if you really want me to.

The other reason I made this was I wanted to have one succinct and chronological place to store every single Swiftgron photo, video, or media of any other type.  If it’s Swiftgron related I will find it and add it here.  If I missed something you can let me know by reaching out to me on my usual blog @swiftgron-get-married. 

For those of you that are new to Gaylor here’s a few notes:

1.  If Taylor seems fruity to you it’s cause she does to everyone else.  Welcome.

2.  Swiftgron is the pairing of Taylor Swift and Dianna Agron.

3.  Achele is the pairing of Dianna Agron and Lea Michele.  It happened before Swiftgron (I think summer 2009 - Early 2012).  Achele was real 100%.  Go to Achele References on Tumblr for more info but just know I have reason to believe Achele actually dated beyond public information.  Take that with a grain of salt of course and look at the evidence for yourself.

4.  At some points in this document I reference a forum called The L Chat - that place is a wasteland of biphobia, transphobia, and other gross things but they did closely track Swiftgron and Achele.  I don’t recommend going there as it can be very triggering to some.  I have gone and pulled out relevant data so you don’t have to go there.

5.  There is a notion in the Gaylor fandom that Dianna was toxic, a serial cheater, and I’ve even heard the word “abusive” thrown around due to the fact that the breakup songs on Red do seem to be about a toxic relationship - Taylor has said as much.  

Given what I’ve heard about DIanna from people who have actually had contact with her - this would be incredibly out of character.  She does have the reputation of being a bit of a player but is literally famous for how kind, giving, compassionate, and amiable she is to fans, coworkers, and friends alike.

I believe that this document proves that due to events on the timeline that although Swiftgron definitely had their ups and downs (Babe definitely suggests at least one instance of a lack of faithfulness, and I’ve clocked at least two obvious breakups before Taylor commits to Karlie and the Swiftgron romance is over for good) however the idea that it was a completely toxic mess is just not supported by actual public data, gathered evidence, and Taylor’s own music and words.
