i love leo valdez but im so tired of the glazing for him. no, he’s not smarter than annabeth. no, he’s not the most powerful demigod in the riordanverse. you’re so happy the fandom constantly potrays him as attractive cause you’re attracted by his personality but you could never think of liking a (canonically) conventionally unattractive boy.

obviously you can think he’s the best character of the riordanverse, cause that’s subjective.

I'm powering through this glazing round now that the more intricate mug designs are done - these lichen pendants were quicker than expected to glaze & I'm SO curious to see how they turn out once fired...I did some real experimenting with layering/butting-up glazes beside each other & I'm hoping it's neat!

Glazes used include a bunch from my two Coyote sample sets (Enduro colour glazes & cone 6 Shinos) plus a few from the Mayco 2023 new glaze sample set (ivy, riptide, coral gloss & fossil rock). I took pretty-ok notes, so I'll post these again once they're fired with some annotation, as they'll probably be the most interesting glaze pieces from this whole batch!

how do you glaze the little crevices on your figures so cleanly? i feel like i always get the glaze everywhere. 🥴

It's a long process but I document it on my website (blog link in the footer). I use underglaze on greenware and I glaze with brushes.

I ended up pugging clay for the studio tonight so the only glazing I got done was the little additions on these guys

that red glaze is called Ancient Copper and the sparkly grey one is called Cosmic Tea Dust
