Went to my first ever D&D game and it was about Monsters and Misogyny at the Glasgow Women's Library!

What started as an investigation about enchanted cattle ended up about repatriation. We restored the body of Maggie Wall one of the last women apparently burned as a witch. Does she exist? No one knows. I liked how closely guided the game was and the Dungeon Matron kept switching from I, she, they- so it wasn't really about one woman's history.

The Seventh Swan tells the story of Alasdair, a young man cursed with a swan's wing for a right arm. This unique sequel to Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairytale The Wild Swan relocates the story to the clan times of 16th Central Scotland.

Puck's Players promise audiences a classic family tale filled to the brim with adventure and romance, tragedy and heroism!

This production is free, or pay what you can. Any proceeds will be used to cover production costs/pay toward future productions.

Puck’s Players has been formed to perform plays in the fantasy genre, as part of the Centre for Fantasy and the Fantastic’s research into fantasy in all its forms.

so… i met miles last night 😭😭

i’m still trying to formulate the words to express how special it was to meet him and how unbelievably lovely he was. i mean, i obviously already knew how lovely he is - but getting to experience it in person is truly something else altogether. he just absolutely radiates good vibes and warmth and truly feels like sunshine in human form ☀️ i also loved that because i tend to be on the quieter side in these situations (after telling him how amazing the show was my brain went pretty blank lol), he actually asked me questions about what songs i’d most enjoyed etc and really engaged with me and also gave me the LOVELIEST hug 🥹

if possible, meeting him has only made me adore and respect him even more than i already did (truly quite an impressive feat), and i just feel so unbelievably grateful to have got to witness the smile on his face when i told him how much i’d loved the show 💖

I'm shocked that tumblr hasn't talked more about the willy wonka glasgow event currently it has so many talking points awful ai art advertising it (unsurprisingly awful), the fact the whole thing was scripted by ai (again unsurprisingly awful), the bigger discourse on why ai is shit and the use of it to scam people, the just abysmal overrall look of the thing like it is dashcon levels of bad, the unknown just being there terrifying children for no known reason. It's got it all

Also you're one of my favorite blog people on here and I really like your art, especially your Imogen redesign it's straight up better than official art in my personal opinion. yea i clicked the turn-off button on my blogs i post original content. im too low spoons to do it for all of them but theyre mostly organised reblog blogs anyway. i saw people say they wont post here anymore but im too tired to figure out something else. if an AI is trained on my wonky art then i guess thats funny and im sure the AI bros will love it when their anime girls emerge with hairy legs and long noses and broken teeth . too tired to care much right now , on a personal scale. on a bigger scale i hate capitalism and its sad everything is going to shit except for some cool things like mountains and songs i like and artists that just keep going anyway . remember ai will never be able to take you over if you make physical art with your hands . thats ours forever . make a little zine
