hi i havent post in a while, have some bnm swap au ss redraws, explanation of the au under here

ok so the au is essentially a swap au between billy and jr, for the sake of simplicity im calling the au cousinswap. here's some full designs (i changed some of their names too)

jr is now just a regular child who won a bet and is now friends with grim just like billy is

billy is a half nergaling who can shapeshift, in this au he killed bobby and used his form as his human form

nergal (now called nigel) is just a guy but he's still a loser, gladys is now a nergal creature but she mostly stayed the same personality wise

Hi Mr. Atoms!! I remember a long while ago some friends of mine were toying with the code of the Billy and Mandy game and someone found some lines relating to a character called "Billy'sMom". do you know anything about this? Because you have mentioned Jeff was meant to be playable, but I believe Gladys was all they found related to unused characters :0

- Why are you so based?

1. There were a lot of "wish list" characters. And the team actually got way further into the list than I would've thought. The first ones we had to cull from the list were those with unique animation sets (like Jeff). Gladys eventually went away. We almost didn't get Mogar, but we did. It was a really cool game and it's a shame that it isn't backward-compatible.

2. Trios are great because you've always got some conflict. If you've got three people with distinct personalities and opinions, they'll rarely agree on everything. It's fun to find what they will and won't agree on, and what they're willing to do to get their way.

I like to keep everyone involved in whatever the conversation/adventure is, and I feel like trios make that a bit easier as there's always someone to "cut to" if you need to get out of a scene. Even if your current third-wheel hasn't rolled off for a literal cut-away, they've got a contrasting opinion you can use to put a button on the scene you're writing.

I’ve been looking through your chowder tagged posts and Rhubarb is PURE AS ALL FUCK. I just wanna ask, how would you describe her voice, like if she were to actually be on the show, who’d voice her.

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH and im thrilled you asked!!! it’s somewhat of a moderately higher pitched/medium pitched soft mother’s tone that you hear in the chest, but it’s also really goofy, like the voice doesnt take itself too seriously (because it’s chowder and everyone on chowder is fucking nuts). right now the voice i have picked out for her is jennifer hale, except there’s no role of hers i can draw from as the perfect fit because she does a different voice for every character she voices - so it’s more or less hypothetical, but it’s similar to gladys from billy & mandy (minus all the neuroticism). her style of talking is a lot like pearl from su in the latest season when she’s secure in her sillyness.. she does that mom thing, i.e. “I LoooOOOOve THIS SONG....!!!! :D” that kinda fun stuff. jennifer hale also was on chowder at least a few times as background characters and such so it checks out
