The Milky Way windows are opening up again for the next couple weeks. I’m excited to get no sleep! Last time I was out I tried capturing the core on the 50mm for the first time. Two weekends in a row? You better believe it. Thankful for clear skies again Sunday morning at Miracle Rock. This is a composition I have done before, but this time I used the setting moon to illuminate the rock and cliffs behind. After the moon was gone I took my sky exposures and blended them together in photoshop. (after a few painstaking tries) I’m pretty proud of this one. It’s what I had envisioned two years ago when I first tried the shot.
