In the scene where Amaya is brought into the throne room, she probably had no idea whats happening. Khessa was probably too far away for Amaya to read her lips and Janai was behind her and Kazi wasn't translating, so from the point she gets into the throne room, gets judged by the light and leaves, she probably had no clue what was going on (minus when Janai told her to look into the light) and on top of that she was temporarily blinded by the light

Janai and Spicy foods

in The Dragon Prince wiki and in Callum’s spell book it said that Janai like spicy food, but I headcanon that it’s like really really spicy food, like she pours four full bottle of sriracha on her food and then adds little piece of ghost pepper on it and she said that it could use more spice

Janai: leaves her food on table to go get tea

Amaya: walks into the room, sees the food, and decides to take a bite

Janai: turns around “ WAIT AMAYA DONT-“

Amaya: eats the food and dies of heatstroke

I’ve seen plenty of fan fics and headcanon that Khessa would be supportive of Amaya and Janai relationship and would try and break them up but I feel like she supportive but in like a really annoying and funny way

Amaya and the Sunfire elves

I wonder how the Sunfire elves treated Amaya when they took her prisoner. In one of the end credit art pieces, we get a little glimpse into what her time traveling with the elves was like, and it shows Amaya with her hands tied behind her back and and one of the elves behind her pushing and shouting something at her. Do you think they were respectful to her or did they push and poke at her until she snapped. And how long do you think it took them to figure out Amaya’s deaf, did they give her a chance to try and communicate or did they draw they weapons when she moved her hands, I doubt Janai when let her soldiers did anything to drastic but she was a human and they were elves

Here Aanya as a SandWing/RainWing hybrid, she take on more of a SandWing build and look but has some RainWing traits like the ability to change the color of her scales and their magical death spit
