y’all went and blew up another one of my posts before the new year started
#I feel a little bad bc I was so focused on The Implications are that I didn’t realize it’s supposed to be an in universe medieval map#which like is ALSO crazy bc nation states as we know them were just barely invented then#and even jf the borders of these countries shifted slightly it does not change the fundamental point that the authors did not feel that#Erasing All The Balkans was somehow historically important#given that aldovia et al all still exist into the present day#but it explains the presence of the goths on that map lol
