i'm anxious about what they'll do with amy

honestly i don't think they should come out the gate swinging when it comes to romance. try to develop it over a couple films instead of speedrunning it in a single sitting.

let us get to know amy as a person for once. who she is, what her motivation is, why she's even here at all, before we give her any synergy with sonic. they don't even know each other at this point.

this amy seems like an exciting new take on the character that i'm really hyped for, which if you saw my post from just before i watched the film, i was previously against her appearing.

like, this amy isn't a damsel like she was in her first game appearance, breaking that wall that defined sonic and her's dynamic for years. she hasn't even met the dude yet but she's kicking ass. I want to know what drives her, because it clearly isn't him this time.

so uhh yeah, no sonamying for now okay? give them time to know each other, and for us to know them. who knows, they might not even have chemistry. this is an alternate take on these characters after all.
