Once again, I sat at my desk, staring at the screen with a familiar sense of anticipation. This time, my fingers hovered over the tablet, poised to create another digital piece that I knew would consume hours of focused work, but also of joy. The character at this project's centre was Liliana Oleander, one of my original creations who holds a special place in my heart. She is more than just a figure I’ve drawn countless times; she represents my ideal romantic love.
Liliana is the sweetheart of Arlon, her beloved companion and my male lead character who, together with Liliana, embodies everything I envision about love—pure, beautiful, passionate, yet tender. Creating art that features her is always a deeply personal experience, almost like spending time with someone dear. Through Liliana, I can explore and express my own emotions and desires in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling. Each stroke of the brush or pencil brings me closer to understanding the depths of my own heart, making her more than just a character, but a reflection of my innermost self.
This latest artwork portrays Liliana in a moment of vulnerability and tranquillity, indulging in a relaxing bubble bath. There’s something inherently calming about this scene, a simplicity that speaks to the joy found in moments of solitude. As I started working on it, I knew I wanted to capture not just her beauty but also the feeling of serenity that comes from these quiet, reflective times. The way the light filters through the bubbles and dances on her skin creates a sense of peacefulness that I hope resonates with viewers. It's a reminder to embrace moments of stillness and self-care in our busy lives.
Liliana, true to her nature, prefers to bathe in the dark. It’s a trait of hers that I’ve always found intriguing, and one I decided to lean into for this artwork. To her, darkness doesn’t represent something to be feared or avoided. Instead, it is a blanket of calm, an embrace of quietude that enhances her relaxation. Over time, Liliana has come to believe that her penchant for bathing in dimly lit settings is one of the secrets to her exceeding beauty. The cool, soft glow that surrounds her in these moments, coupled with the warm water and the scent of delicate soaps, creates an atmosphere of pure serenity. It’s as if the darkness itself contributes to the glow of her skin, to the softness of her features.
In this particular piece, I paid careful attention to the way the bubbles floated around her, almost as if they were enchanted, glowing softly in the darkness. They add to the mystique of the scene, with each bubble reflecting faint traces of light. They are delicate, and fleeting, and serve as a perfect contrast to the quiet strength that Liliana embodies. I wanted them to seem almost magical, to float around her as if they had a life of their own, amplifying the peace of the moment. The way they catch the light against the darkness also adds a sense of depth and texture to the scene.
Liliana’s expression was, without a doubt, the most important element for me to capture in this piece. She’s smiling softly, her large, bright blue eyes glistening with contentment. Her smile isn’t wide or exaggerated but serene, reflective of someone who is completely at peace with herself and her surroundings. Her gaze is directed slightly upward as if she’s lost in a pleasant thought or admiring the bubbles floating in front of her. I wanted to give her a look of utter bliss, a moment where the world fades away, leaving only the warmth of the bath and the quiet hum of her thoughts.
I spent a lot of time on the lighting in this piece. Darkness, though calming, can be tricky to depict. I needed to find a way to show Liliana’s form and features without losing the essence of the dimly lit setting she prefers. To achieve this, I opted for a soft blue glow that gently outlines her face, her hair, and the bubbles surrounding her. It’s a glow that doesn’t overpower the scene but enhances it, giving Liliana an almost ethereal quality. She looks otherworldly, her skin glowing in the faint light, her hair clinging to her damp shoulders as the water flows down her form. This subtle lighting was key in maintaining the calm, intimate feeling I wanted to evoke.
Liliana’s hair is always a focal point in my art, and in this piece, it’s no different. It falls in long, damp waves around her shoulders, its deep, dark colour contrasting beautifully against the soft light and the bubbles floating nearby. The water has given it a sleek, shiny texture, and I tried to capture the way it clings to her skin. There’s something incredibly intimate about wet hair, about the way it sticks to the body, and I wanted that detail to come through. Her hair frames her face, adding to the overall softness of the piece.
The scene itself was inspired by one of my favourite moments in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, where Ariel is being taken care of with a luxurious bubble bath. There’s a playfulness in that scene, an innocence that I wanted to incorporate into my work. While Liliana’s bath is more serene and more reflective, the bubbles add a sense of lightness and fun that echoes Ariel’s experience. Both scenes share that feeling of indulgence, of a brief escape from reality into a world of warmth and comfort. As I worked, I imagined Liliana enjoying the same kind of peaceful solitude, letting the water soothe her as the bubbles floated lazily around her.
As with all my artwork, this piece was a labour of love. I spent hours perfecting the details, from the way the water reflects off her skin to the tiny highlights in her eyes that give her expression life. I wanted every element to work together to create a cohesive, immersive experience. The soft lighting, the bubbles, the peaceful look on Liliana’s face—all of it was designed to draw the viewer in, to make them feel as though they, too, are in the room with her, sharing in this quiet, intimate moment.
There’s a delicate balance when working with such dark tones. Too much shadow and the scene could easily become foreboding, losing the peacefulness I wanted to convey. Too much light and the magic of Liliana’s preference for darkness would be lost. I had to find a middle ground, where the shadows wrapped around her like a comforting blanket, but the light still caught on the most important details, bringing them to life. The interplay between light and shadow in this painting creates a sense of depth and mystery, enhancing the overall atmosphere. It was a challenge to capture Liliana's essence in this way, but ultimately, the result is a captivating and immersive piece of art.
Liliana’s relationship with darkness is something I’ve always found fascinating. While some see the dark as something to be avoided, as a place where fears and uncertainties lurk, Liliana sees it as a refuge. For her, the absence of bright light is calming. It allows her to retreat into herself, to let go of the outside world and simply be. In this piece, I wanted to show that side of her, to illustrate how her beauty is not just in her physical appearance, but in the way she moves through the world, and how she finds peace and calm in the places others might overlook.
Working on this piece reminded me of why I love creating art, especially art featuring characters like Liliana. It’s not just about drawing a pretty picture; it’s about capturing a moment, an emotion, and sharing that with others. Through Liliana, I’m able to explore themes of love, beauty, and tranquillity in ways that feel deeply personal to me. She’s a character who represents everything I hold dear, and every time I draw her, I feel like I’m sharing a part of myself with the world.
As I finished the piece, I took a step back and looked at it with fresh eyes. Liliana, surrounded by bubbles, bathed in soft, blue light, looked exactly as I had hoped—peaceful, serene, and utterly content. Her expression, her posture, the way the bubbles floated lazily around her—it all came together to create a scene that felt both intimate and magical. I couldn’t help but smile, knowing that I had once again captured a little bit of the magic that Liliana brings to my life.
Creating this artwork was not just about depicting Liliana in a bubble bath; it was about capturing a feeling of peace and tranquillity, a moment of quiet reflection in a world that is often too loud and chaotic. Through her, I hope to convey the idea that beauty is not just in the grand gestures or the bright lights, but in the quiet moments, the simple pleasures, and the spaces where we feel most at peace. In her serene expression and relaxed posture, I saw a reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty in everyday moments.
In the end, this piece is more than just an image of Liliana—it’s a reminder that sometimes, the most beautiful moments are the ones we experience when we’re alone with our thoughts, wrapped in the comfort of the dark, and surrounded by the things that make us feel most at ease. For Liliana, that’s a warm bubble bath in the soft glow of the night, and for me, it’s the act of creating her, of bringing her to life on the screen, one brushstroke at a time. It's a reminder to cherish the simple pleasures in life and find solace in solitude. The process of creating art can be a therapeutic escape from the chaos of everyday life.

I created another digital artwork once again. This time, it’s a fan art that captures my passion for one of my favourite cartoons "Sofia the First". You may wonder why I chose this character again, especially since I’ve already portrayed her in a recent work. Well, I became a fan of this cartoon. Not just because of her charm and the lessons she learns as a princess of Enchancia, but because her character represents many ideals I appreciate—courage, kindness, and the determination to do what's right. This time, however, I’ve portrayed her differently, showing her in a way that reflects her growth and maturity.
In my previous artwork, I illustrated Sofia as she appeared in most of the series—a sweet, curious, and brave 8-year-old girl, adjusting to life as a princess after her mother’s marriage to King Roland II. But this new artwork, well, it’s different. Here, Princess Sofia is depicted in her early adolescent years, slightly older, and a bit more refined, yet still holding onto the youthful spirit that made her such a beloved character. The artwork showcases Sofia's journey as she navigates the challenges of growing up while staying true to her kindness and determination core values.
The inspiration for this comes from another cartoon "Elena of Avalor". The final episode of that series struck a chord with me. Elena, the brave princess whom Sofia once rescued from the Amulet of Avalor, finally becomes Queen. The episode takes place four years after Sofia’s adventure in Avalor, meaning Sofia herself has grown up, and this is where I wanted to take her in my artwork. I loved how the writers depicted her as a teenager, standing gracefully alongside her siblings, James and Amber, during Elena’s coronation. Sofia had aged, but her character was just as captivating, if not more so.
For this new piece, I focused on portraying Sofia in her early teens, perhaps around 13 or 15 years old. As I sat at my tablet, I spent time reflecting on her facial features—how to age her in a way that stayed true to the original design but reflected the maturity she gained over the years. Her skin remains soft and fair, still with that delicate hint of pink that gives her a youthful glow. Her sea-blue eyes remain slightly almond-shaped, but now they carry a sense of wisdom and experience.
Her hair, too, needed to reflect this change. In "Sofia the First", she has short, wavy auburn hair that frames her round face perfectly. But in this new fan art, her hair is a bit longer, with soft, flowing waves cascading past her shoulders, a sign of her growing older. The auburn shade still gleams under the soft palace lights in the background, symbolising her vibrancy. Overall, the updated portrayal captures Sofia's transition from a young princess to a more mature and confident queen.
And now for the gown—ah, the gown! That was both the most exciting and challenging part of this artwork. I wanted to keep the essence of her classic lavender dress, but with some changes that would make it feel more suited to a young teenager. Sofia’s iconic dress from the series is simple yet elegant, adorned with intricate patterns and symbols of her royal status. The dress is still lavender, of course—it had to be. That’s Sofia’s signature colour, after all. However, I included more detailed embroidery and flourishes along the bodice and skirt, using darker purples and delicate gold accents to highlight her growth.
I’ll admit, the gown was probably the trickiest part to create. My tablet, though it’s been a trusty tool for years, doesn’t exactly handle fine, freehand drawing as smoothly as I’d like. Creating those intricate floral patterns, especially along the hem of the dress, took a lot of patience and several adjustments. I spent hours zooming in on tiny sections of the design, trying to get every swirl and leaf just right. But in the end, I’m proud of how it turned out. The patterns give the gown a regal feel while still keeping it true to Sofia’s style.
What was also important for me in this artwork was to show Sofia in motion, capturing that moment of joy and excitement. I wanted her to appear as though she was walking gracefully down a grand staircase, much like she did during Elena’s coronation. The background in the piece reflects that—a grand palace setting with soft, glowing lights and elegant architecture. But it’s not just any palace; it’s the one where she’s spent her entire royal life, a symbol of both her beginnings and her future.
The coronation scene from "Elena of Avalor" holds a special place in my heart. As I watched it unfold, I remember feeling a swell of emotion seeing Sofia and her family return to Avalor, now more grown-up and refined, standing proudly beside Elena as she becomes Queen. Sofia’s journey with the Amulet of Avalor had come full circle, and seeing her there, older, and more confident, made me realise how far she had come, both in terms of her adventures and her personal growth. It was a bittersweet moment, watching them sing “Guiding Light” together, and I wanted to capture some of that in my artwork.
I also wanted to include the tiara in my piece—a small but significant detail. Sofia’s first tiara in "Sofia the First" was crystal-encrusted with amethyst and pearls, a perfect match for her lavender dress. In this new piece, I kept the basic design but added a few personal touches, making it slightly larger and more ornate, to reflect her royal maturity. The amethyst glistens under the soft lighting, symbolising her connection to both Enchancia and Avalor, a reminder of the adventures that have shaped her into the princess she is now.
Sofia’s expression in this artwork was crucial. I wanted to capture her inner beauty—her kindness, determination, and sense of responsibility—but also the joy she feels in this moment of celebration. Her smile is soft, her eyes bright, showing the happiness she feels to be back in Avalor for such a special occasion. But there’s something else, too—a quiet confidence that wasn’t as prominent in her younger years. It’s as if she knows who she is now, fully aware of her role as both a princess and a leader, and she embraces it with grace.
As I finished the piece, I sat back and admired the work. It wasn’t just another fan art of a beloved character—it was a reflection of growth, both Sofia’s and mine. Every detail, from the patterns in her gown to the expression on her face, felt like a culmination of everything I’ve loved about her character throughout the years. In many ways, this artwork wasn’t just about Sofia—it was about the journey she’s been on, the lessons she’s learned, and how those lessons have resonated with me.
In conclusion, this artwork was more than just an illustration; it was a celebration of Sofia’s growth from a young princess to a poised, confident teenager. It was an opportunity for me to reflect on how much I’ve grown as an artist and how much Sofia’s character has influenced me throughout the years. While my tablet might not be the most advanced tool for detailed work, it has been my companion through many artistic journeys, and this piece is a testament to the power of perseverance and the love I have for creating. I look forward to continuing this artistic adventure.

I recently created another digital artwork; this time, it’s a fan art. Fan art has always been a way for me to show my appreciation for the stories and characters that have left a mark on me, and this one is no exception. The piece pays homage to one of my favourite animated shows from Disney, Sofia The First. There's something so enchanting about the little princess of Enchancia, and it made me feel compelled to capture her in my own style. Every detail of this fan art is designed with admiration for the show’s beautiful animation and storytelling.
The star of this piece is, of course, Sofia herself. As the protagonist of Sofia The First, she's a character who has always resonated with me due to her kind heart and relatable journey from commoner to princess. In my artwork, I've depicted her in her signature princess outfit, a lilac gown that perfectly represents her royal yet approachable personality. I spent hours perfecting the details of her dress. The lilac bodice, trimmed with two elegant lines of pearls down the front and along the neckline, gives her a graceful, regal air. Her skirt hemmed with lilac petals and pearl studs, flares out majestically, but what truly makes it stand out are the lace drops shaped like four-leaf clovers—each one is painstakingly drawn to reflect Sofia's charm.
The dress is a spectacle of craftsmanship in both the animation and my recreation. The petals of her skirt feature a nimbus-like design, creating an otherworldly feel. The soft pastel colours further amplify this effect. Beneath the flowing petals, a pale yellowish petticoat peeks out, hemmed in a lilac band to match the rest of the gown. I wanted the colours to feel light and airy, much like Sofia's character. Her attire in my artwork wouldn’t be complete without her royal tiara—a swirly creation inset with pink sapphires, white pearls, and a turquoise diamond. This headpiece symbolizes her royal status while also capturing her playful nature. I paid special attention to the reflection of light on the gemstones to make them appear as real as possible, giving them a shimmer that makes the entire ensemble pop.
Of course, no depiction of Sofia would be complete without her iconic Amulet of Avalor. This piece of jewellery is one of the most important items in the show, as it carries magical powers and is central to many of the stories. For my artwork, I wanted the Amulet to take centre stage as much as the princess herself. It’s a large fire opal drop cabochon, a brilliant gem that catches the eye immediately. The pendant is mounted on a swirly silver backing, topped with three sapphires that I carefully shaded to look rich and deep. It hangs from a silver necklace, wrapped in delicate amethyst beads, creating a beautiful contrast to the warmth of the fire opal. In a way, the Amulet of Avalor represents the heart of Sofia, always full of magic, adventure, and compassion.
Drawing Sofia’s face was a particular joy. Her expressive blue eyes are one of her most memorable features in the show, and I tried to recreate that same sparkle in my artwork. The way her eyes reflect light is key to portraying her innocent and curious nature. Her eyes seem to tell the story of a girl who is always learning, always discovering new things about herself and the world around her. Her smile is soft but bright, embodying the warmth and kindness that has made her so beloved by fans of all ages. I drew her brown hair in gentle curls that framed her face, adding a touch of softness and making her appear both elegant and approachable.'
Sofia’s character arc is one of my favourite aspects of the show, and I wanted to reflect some of her personality in this artwork. In the story, Sofia starts as a regular girl living a humble life with her mother, Miranda. Everything changes when her mother marries King Roland II, making Sofia a princess overnight. Adjusting to this new life isn’t easy for her, and that’s part of what makes her so relatable. She has to learn how to behave as a princess, navigate royal life, and understand her new family dynamics, particularly with her new stepsiblings, Amber and James.
Amber, in particular, is a character who often clashes with Sofia. As a princess by birth, Amber is sometimes jealous of Sofia, especially because of how quickly Sofia wins the affection of those around her. Despite Amber’s occasional jealousy, Sofia always tries to get along with her, showing the same patience and kindness that make her such a wonderful role model. Sofia’s compassionate heart helps her build strong friendships, not just with her stepsiblings but with other characters like Clover, her pet rabbit, and Lucinda, a young witch.
I also find Sofia’s friendships with magical creatures particularly fascinating. For instance, Sofia forms a bond with a mermaid named Oona, showing that Sofia’s kindness transcends even species. Drawing inspiration from these friendships, I tried to give Sofia’s facial expression a sense of warmth and openness, reflecting her ability to connect with others, no matter who they are or where they come from. This trait of hers—of always being willing to make new friends and help others—is one of the reasons why I love her character so much.
But Sofia isn’t without her struggles. She faces challenges just like any other young person, particularly when it comes to fitting into the royal world. She’s often clumsy and unsure of herself at first, which only makes her more endearing. I wanted to capture this side of her as well—the part of Sofia that doesn’t always get things right the first time but keeps trying until she does. Her journey as a student at the Royal Preparatory Academy is filled with ups and downs, and the guidance she receives from Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather helps her grow. These three headmistresses, who are also good friends of Princess Aurora, play a crucial role in shaping Sofia into the princess she is destined to become.
Sofia’s learning process is something that I think many people can relate to, including myself. There are times when we all feel like we’re out of place like we don’t belong. Sofia’s story reminds us that it’s okay to feel that way sometimes and that what matters most is how we approach those challenges. Her courage and resilience are traits I admire, and I hope that some of them shine through in my artwork. As Sofia navigates her way through the challenges of becoming a princess, she learns valuable lessons about friendship, kindness, and perseverance. The influence of the headmistresses and Princess Aurora serves as a reminder that we all have the power to shape our destinies.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of Sofia’s character is her free-spirited nature. Despite her new royal status, she doesn’t let it change who she is at heart. I especially love the scenes in the show where Sofia does something as playful as sliding down the staircase rails—something that completely baffles her stepsister, Amber. It’s moments like these that remind us that Sofia, for all her royal duties, is still a child who loves to have fun. Capturing this youthful energy was essential in my artwork. Her pose is graceful yet playful as if she’s just finished twirling in her dress and is about to burst into a giggle.
Sofia’s adorableness is another key aspect of her character. In the episode “The Secret Library: The Tale of the Noble Knight,” new acquaintances shower her with affection because they can’t resist her charm. I wanted to capture that same adorableness in my artwork, making her look sweet and lovable, the kind of character who instantly makes you want to be her friend. Sofia’s ability to connect with both humans and magical creatures alike is a testament to her universal appeal, and I think that’s why she has remained such a beloved character throughout the years.
In conclusion, creating this fan art of Sofia was not just an artistic challenge but also a way for me to reconnect with a character I’ve admired for a long time. Every detail, from the pearls on her dress to the fire opal in her Amulet, was crafted with love and appreciation for the show. Sofia The First may be a children’s show, but its messages of kindness, perseverance, and friendship resonate with people of all ages, including myself. Through this artwork, I wanted to capture not just Sofia’s appearance but also her essence—her heart, her charm, and her unwavering kindness. This piece is my tribute to a character who, though fictional, has had a very real impact on me and countless others.

I've always found solace in the rhythm of my digital canvas, each pixel a brushstroke, each stroke a heartbeat echoing the cadence of my thoughts. And today, amidst the whirlwind of life's chaos, I found myself drawn once again to the sanctuary of creation. As my stylus danced across the blank expanse of my screen, I knew exactly who this piece was meant for – my dear friend, Lovemarie. She always appreciated the raw emotion and vulnerability in my artwork.
It's been far too long since our lives intertwined in the tapestry of friendship. Time, that relentless thief, had stolen precious moments from us, leaving behind only fleeting memories. But today, I sought to immortalise our connection in the form of digital art, a testament to the bond we share. Through each stroke of colour and curve of line, I poured my heart into the creation, hoping to capture the essence of our friendship in every pixel. Lovemarie's spirit seemed to guide my hand, whispering words of encouragement and love as the artwork took shape before me.
As the image began to take shape, I found myself drawn to a character from a beloved film, one who embodied the essence of Lovemarie in my mind. Tina Carlyle, the epitome of grace and allure, danced across the screen, her presence reminiscent of my dear friend. Clad in the iconic minidress from that fateful scene in "The Mask," she exuded a magnetic charm that could captivate even the most jaded of souls. As I continued to work on the artwork, I felt a sense of peace and connection with Lovemarie that transcended the physical world.
In this artwork, I captured the essence of that moment when Stanley, in his alter-ego as The Mask, first lays eyes on Tina. It's a scene etched into the annals of cinematic history, a moment of serendipity that sets the stage for an unforgettable encounter. And in Lovemarie, I saw echoes of Tina's spirit – bold, vivacious, and unapologetically herself. That made me feel an inexplicable connection to her, as if we were kindred spirits in a past life. It was a powerful reminder of the universal language of art and its ability to connect us across time and space.
With each stroke of my digital brush, I poured my admiration for Lovemarie onto the canvas, infusing the artwork with a depth of emotion that words could never convey. Every curve, every line, spoke volumes of the connection we shared, a bond forged in the crucible of time and tested by the trials of life. As I completed the painting, I felt a sense of fulfilment and gratitude for the opportunity to express my admiration through art. The finished piece stood as a testament to the enduring power of creativity and human connection.
But even as I marvelled at the beauty taking shape before me, I knew that this was only the beginning. Another artwork beckoned, another opportunity to explore the depths of our friendship through the lens of cinematic nostalgia. And so, with renewed determination, I vowed to embark on yet another creative journey, one that would further immortalise our friendship. As I gathered my energy for the next project in future, I couldn't help but feel excited for the new adventure that awaited. The blank canvas before me held endless possibilities, ready to be transformed into another masterpiece celebrating our bond.
As the final touches fell into place, I paused to reflect on the significance of this moment. It wasn't merely about creating art; it was about capturing a fleeting glimpse of eternity, a snapshot of our friendship frozen in time. And with a sense of satisfaction that bordered on reverence, I sent the finished artwork to Lovemarie, a silent tribute to the profound impact she had on my life. The colours and shapes on the canvas seemed to dance with joy, mirroring the happiness that filled my heart. Each stroke of the brush felt like a declaration of love and gratitude, a testament to the beauty of our connection.
But amidst the flurry of creativity, a quiet curiosity nagged at the corners of my mind. I want to ask her how is her life so far? What joys had she experienced, what trials had she faced? And so, with a simple message, I reached out to her, eager to reconnect and share in the tapestry of her life once more. As I waited for her response, memories of our past adventures flooded my mind, bringing a sense of nostalgia and warmth. I hoped that our conversation would reignite the spark of friendship that had once burned so brightly between us.
For in the dance of creation, amidst the pixels and the brushstrokes, I found not only solace but also a profound sense of connection. And in Lovemarie, I discovered a kindred spirit, a friend whose presence transcended the boundaries of time and space. So here's to you, Lovemarie – may our friendship endure, a beacon of light in the vast expanse of the digital cosmos. Let's continue to create, to share our stories and dreams, and to cherish the bond that unites us in this ever-evolving world of art and imagination. Cheers to the memories we've made and the adventures that lie ahead.

It was another day where creativity led the way; this time, I found myself diving into the world of fan art. I’ve always enjoyed bringing characters to life in my style, and my latest piece is no exception. This time, my subject was Luan Loud, one of the lively and loveable characters from the cartoon "The Loud House." As I worked on this piece, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and connection—something about Luan’s character just spoke to me.
Let me start with her appearance, which I found charming and challenging to capture. Luan’s light brown hair is styled in a high ponytail, tied with a bright yellow scrunchie. The ponytail is thick and playful, curving downward with a little swirl at the end, almost as if it’s alive and dancing with her. Two long, antenna-like strands of hair protrude from her forehead, giving her a unique and instantly recognisable silhouette. I tried my best to add a touch of texture to her hair, highlighting the soft sheen of the strands and the cheerful yellow of her scrunchie, which I imagined to be her favourite accessory.
Her smile is what truly makes Luan stand out. She has prominent buck teeth, which peek out from her beaming grin. If you look closely, you’ll notice the silver braces on her upper teeth—a detail I didn’t forget to include in my art. The braces give her smile a youthful, authentic charm that perfectly fits her quirky personality. In some versions of her character, her lower teeth also have braces, but I opted to stay true to the more common design. To me, her smile is a window into her soul—a soul brimming with optimism, humour, and an unrelenting love for life.
For her outfit, I decided to depict her in something sunny and fun, mirroring her upbeat personality. She’s wearing a white sleeveless blouse with a bright pink flower pin near the collar, adding a touch of playfulness to her look. Her yellow skirt, adorned with a grid pattern, seems to radiate cheerfulness, matching the socks that stretch up to her knees in a similar shade of yellow, striped with bold black lines. And let’s not forget her shoes—brown with little pink flowers on top. Every detail of her outfit was carefully chosen to reflect her vibrant, comedic essence.
As I drew, I thought more about who Luan is as a character. She’s the fourth oldest child in the Loud family, a sophomore at Royal Woods High School, and someone who shares her school life with her siblings Leni and Luna. Growing up in such a large family, with 10 other siblings must be chaotic, but Luan thrives in the noise and energy. She’s a natural comedian, always telling jokes, pulling pranks, and finding ways to bring laughter into the lives of those around her—even if her efforts sometimes backfire.
Luan’s love for comedy is infectious. I imagine her cracking a pun about almost any situation, her voice light and teasing. But it’s not just jokes with her; she’s a full-fledged prankster. Pies in the face, whoopie cushions, fake spiders—she’s mastered them all. Of course, her antics often get on her siblings’ nerves, but deep down, they know she means well. Her goal isn’t to humiliate; it’s to share the joy of laughter. And while her pranks sometimes go a little too far, her family knows that her heart is in the right place.
It’s this duality—her mischief and her genuine kindness—that makes her such a fascinating character. Take her relationship with her siblings, for example. She’s especially close to Leni and Luna, and while she loves pranking them as much as anyone else, there’s a certain tenderness in the way she interacts with them. In the episode “Head Poet’s Anxiety,” Luan becomes a source of inspiration for Lucy, encouraging her to pursue a life in showbiz. It’s moments like these that reveal her depth—she’s not just a joker; she’s a supportive and loving sister who wants the best for her family.
Luan’s passion for comedy extends beyond her pranks. She loves everything that has to do with making people laugh, from stand-up routines to clown performances. I could imagine her practising her jokes in front of a mirror or jotting down ideas in a notebook filled with doodles of clowns and circus tents. She probably has a collection of comedy movies and TV shows that she watches religiously, taking notes on timing and delivery. Her dream, I think, is to make the world laugh along with her—a lofty goal, but one that suits her larger-than-life personality.
Of course, even someone as cheerful as Luan has her struggles. In “Stage Plight,” we see her neurotic side as she becomes increasingly anxious about kissing her boyfriend during a school play. It’s a reminder that, beneath her confident and comedic exterior, Luan is still a teenager navigating the challenges of growing up. She’s socially awkward at times and prone to overthinking, but these qualities only make her more relatable. They show that she’s not just a one-dimensional prankster but a complex character with insecurities and fears like anyone else.
As I added the finishing touches to the artwork—shading her hair, refining the folds in her skirt, and brightening the highlights in her eyes—I thought about the impact Luan has on those around her. She’s a beacon of positivity, always finding the funny side of any situation, no matter how dire. Her ability to laugh in the face of adversity is something I deeply admire. It’s a trait that not only defines her but also inspires those around her to see the world in a lighter, more joyful way.
Creating this artwork was more than just a creative exercise for me; it was a way to celebrate a character who embodies so many wonderful qualities. Luan’s enthusiasm for life, her unyielding optimism, and her genuine love for making people laugh are traits that I think we could all strive to emulate. In a world that often feels heavy and serious, characters like Luan remind us of the importance of laughter and the power of a good joke. Luan's ability to bring joy to others through her humour is a testament to the impact that positivity can have on those around us.
As I finally stepped back to admire the finished piece, I felt a sense of satisfaction. The bright colours, the cheerful pose, the mischievous glint in her eye—it all came together to capture the essence of Luan Loud. I couldn’t wait to share it with others, to see how fans of "The Loud House" would react. For me, this artwork wasn’t just a fan tribute; it was a celebration of humour, creativity, and the joy of bringing a beloved character to life in a new way.
Looking back, I realise that creating fan art is more than just drawing; it’s about connecting with the characters we love and finding pieces of ourselves in them. Luan’s love for comedy and her desire to bring happiness to others resonates deeply with me. Through this piece, I feel like I’ve not only paid tribute to her but also learned something about myself—that no matter what challenges come my way, I can always find a reason to laugh. Creating fan art allows us to explore our passions and connect with others who share similar interests.

I’ve created another digital artwork once again, and this time, I chose to feature my original character, Liliana Oleander. She’s a character who’s very dear to me, not just because she’s half of my inseparable duo with Arlon Florian, but because of her bright and endearing personality that makes her leap off the canvas every time I draw her. This piece is special for many reasons, but mostly because it lets me revisit Liliana’s childhood—those precious years when her innocence and charm were at their peak.
Since this Wednesday marks World Children’s Day, I thought it would be fitting to dedicate this week to creating artworks that celebrate the joy and purity of childhood. It’s a theme that resonates deeply with me, as it reminds me of the carefree and imaginative moments that define those early years. For this particular piece, I drew Liliana as a child again—perhaps around her seventh year. This age feels perfect for her character because it captures that wonderful in-between stage where a child is old enough to express themselves but still young enough to see the world with wide-eyed wonder.
In this artwork, Liliana is a ballerina. Not just any ballerina, but one who seems to have stepped out of a dreamy fairytale. Her petite figure is adorned with a delicate white tutu that flares out like a soft, ruffled cloud. The bodice of her outfit hugs her gently, its subtle texture adding an elegant touch to the simplicity of the design. Her ballet slippers, tied with neat little ribbons around her ankles, are as pristine as freshly fallen snow. To complete her look, a tiny daisy is tucked into her tied up, wavy brown hair—a small but meaningful detail that echoes her love for nature.
The pose I’ve given her is graceful, as though she’s caught mid-performance. Her arms are extended delicately, one hand raised as if offering a playful kiss to the air. Her eyes are closed, and her lips are pursed in a way that’s both endearing and whimsical. There’s a playful innocence in her expression, as though she’s enjoying the moment not just for herself but for someone special. Her stance radiates the kind of carefree confidence that only a child can possess—a blend of artistry and joy that’s impossible to replicate.
The setting I’ve chosen for this artwork is a vibrant garden bathed in sunlight. The background is a kaleidoscope of colours, with lush green grass beneath her feet and bursts of flowers in every imaginable hue stretching out behind her. The sky above is a bright, cloudless blue, creating a sense of endless possibility. It’s the kind of place where a child-like Liliana would feel perfectly at home, twirling and leaping to her heart’s content. The sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on her face as she moves with effortless grace. Liliana's laughter fills the air, a melody that seems to dance along with her every step.
What makes this artwork even more special to me is the story it tells about Liliana and Arlon. You see, Liliana isn’t just dancing for the sake of it—she’s trying to catch the attention of her best friend, Arlon Florian. Arlon is a year younger than her, and their relationship is one of the purest forms of friendship I could imagine. They’ve been inseparable since they were very young, their bond built on a foundation of trust, understanding, and a deep affection that words can’t quite capture. In many ways, Liliana sees herself as Arlon’s protector and confidante, always looking out for him and making sure he feels included and valued.
In this scene, it’s as if Liliana is saying, “Look at me, Arly! Aren’t I amazing?” Her playful performance is meant for him and him alone, a gesture of affection that she wouldn’t offer to anyone else. There’s something so heartwarming about the way she reserves her best efforts for Arlon, as though he’s the only audience that truly matters to her. This dynamic between them is one of the things I love most about their relationship—it’s filled with little moments like this, where their connection shines through in the smallest of gestures.
Drawing Liliana as a ballerina also gave me the chance to explore another side of her personality. While she’s usually portrayed as outgoing and full of energy, there’s a quiet grace to her in this piece that feels refreshing. She’s still the same spirited girl, but there’s a softness to her movements and expressions that hints at her growing maturity. It’s a reminder that even at a young age, children can possess a depth and complexity that’s often overlooked.
As I worked on this piece, I found myself reflecting on the inspiration behind it. World Children’s Day is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a celebration of the wonder, creativity, and boundless potential of children. It’s a time to remember the importance of nurturing these qualities and creating a world where every child can thrive. In many ways, Liliana embodies these ideals. She’s a symbol of the innocence and joy that make childhood such a magical time, as well as the resilience and determination that children often show in the face of challenges.
The relationship between Liliana and Arlon is another aspect of this piece that feels particularly meaningful. Their friendship is a reminder of the importance of connection and understanding, especially during childhood. Arlon, with his quiet and introspective nature, often relies on Liliana to bring him out of his shell, while Liliana finds a sense of stability and comfort in Arlon’s steady presence. Together, they create a balance that allows both of them to grow and thrive.
I also can’t help but think about how this artwork reflects my own experiences and values. As someone who has always been drawn to themes of friendship, love, and self-expression, creating a piece like this feels deeply personal. It’s not just about capturing Liliana’s character or celebrating World Children’s Day—it’s about sharing a part of myself through my art. Every detail, from the daisy in Liliana’s hair to the way her tutu catches the light, is a reflection of my thoughts and emotions.
The process of creating this artwork was both challenging and rewarding. Capturing the delicate balance between childlike innocence and graceful elegance required a lot of attention to detail. I spent hours refining the folds of Liliana’s tutu, making sure it looked soft and natural, and adjusting the pose of her arms to convey the right mix of playfulness and poise. Even the background, with its vibrant colours and soft focus, was carefully designed to enhance the overall mood of the piece without overshadowing the subject.
As I added the finishing touches, I couldn’t help but smile at the final result. Liliana looked exactly as I’d imagined her—radiant, joyful, and full of life. The scene felt alive, as though you could almost hear the soft rustle of her tutu or the gentle hum of the garden around her. It was a moment frozen in time, a snapshot of childhood that felt both universal and deeply personal. The image captured the essence of innocence and wonder, evoking a sense of nostalgia and warmth. I knew that this portrait would be cherished for years to come, a true reflection of Liliana's spirit and charm.
Now that the artwork is complete, I can’t wait to share it with others. I hope that anyone who sees it will be reminded of the beauty and simplicity of childhood, and perhaps even reflect on their memories of that time. For me, this piece is more than just a celebration of Liliana or World Children’s Day—it’s a tribute to the qualities that make life meaningful: love, connection, and the courage to express oneself. It serves as a reminder of the innocence and joy that children bring into our lives, and I hope it brings a sense of happiness to all who view it. This portrait captures a moment in time that will never be forgotten, embodying the essence of childhood in its purest form.
Looking at the finished artwork, I feel a deep sense of satisfaction. Liliana’s performance, her playful attempt to gain Arlon’s attention, feels so genuine to her character. It’s a reminder of why I created her in the first place—to explore the themes of innocence, friendship, and the journey of growing up. This piece captures a fleeting moment in her life, one that’s filled with joy and possibility. And in doing so, it also captures a piece of my own heart, a reflection of the things I hold most dear.
As I prepare to move on to my next project, I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring Liliana and Arlon’s world to life once again. Their story continues to inspire me, reminding me of the beauty and complexity of human connections. And while this piece may be just one chapter in their journey, it’s a chapter that I’ll always treasure. I look forward to exploring new characters and narratives, but I will always hold a special place in my heart for Liliana and Arlon. Their story has touched me in ways I never expected, and I am grateful for the chance to share it with others.
In the end, this artwork is more than just a celebration of World Children’s Day or a showcase of my skills as an artist. It’s a testament to the power of imagination and the enduring magic of childhood. Through Liliana’s graceful dance and her unspoken bond with Arlon, I hope to convey a message that’s both simple and profound: that love, in all its forms, is the most beautiful thing we can share. And in a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, it’s these moments of connection and joy that remind us of what truly matters.

I’ve done it again—another digital artwork completed, another expression of my love for creating something cheerful and heartwarming. It feels even more meaningful this time because it aligns with something close to my heart. With World Children’s Day this Wednesday, I dedicated my entire week to illustrating children. Childhood is a fleeting yet powerful part of life, filled with innocence, joy, and curiosity. Capturing that essence has always been my passion.
This particular piece was inspired by a vector clipart I had saved in my archives for years. It was one of those simple designs that caught my attention back then but never seemed to demand urgency. I think I saved it with the thought, “One day, I’ll turn this into something special.” And here we are, years later, with that idea finally realised. As I worked on bringing the clipart to life, I found myself adding my personal touches and details that truly made it unique. The process of transforming a simple image into a vibrant illustration filled me with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
The artwork features a young girl in a serene field of blooming flowers, and she looks as though she’s stepping out of a storybook. Her golden orange hair is styled in two thick braids. Her hair almost glows in the sunlight, each strand catching the light like threads of gold. There’s a warmth to her expression—a subtle smile on her pink lips and her bright blue eyes looking straight ahead, brimming with life and wonder. The contrast between the soft pastel colours of the flowers and the bold hues of her dress adds depth to the scene, making it feel almost magical. The overall effect is enchanting, drawing viewers into a world of beauty and imagination.
She holds a single pink rose delicately in one hand, as though it’s her favourite bloom of the day, chosen carefully from the overflowing basket in her other hand. The basket itself is a work of art, woven intricately and filled to the brim with roses in shades of pink, white, and soft coral. Each flower looks freshly picked, with vibrant green leaves framing their soft petals. You can almost imagine the sweet floral scent wafting through the air as she walks among the blossoms.
Her dress is a pale blue sundress, simple yet charming, cinched at the waist with a bold red sash that adds a splash of vibrancy to her overall look. The dress sways gently as if caught by a soft breeze, and the light fabric captures the carefree spirit of childhood. The colour palette of her outfit harmonises perfectly with the surrounding field—a symphony of pastels, vivid greens, and bursts of pink and white flowers. The sun casts a warm glow on her golden hair, creating a halo effect as she twirls in the meadow. The scene is reminiscent of a painting, with the girl as the focal point of nature's masterpiece.
The background is just as enchanting as the girl herself. It’s a dreamy meadow filled with wildflowers, stretching out into the distance. The sky above is a bright, clear blue with just a hint of soft clouds, and the sunlight filters through the scene, casting a gentle glow on everything it touches. The combination of vibrant flowers and lush greenery creates an almost magical setting as if the girl has wandered into a hidden paradise to spend her afternoon collecting nature’s treasures.
Creating this piece was a joy from start to finish. As I worked on each detail—the softness of her braids, the delicate petals of the roses, the dappled light on the meadow—I found myself reminiscing about my childhood and the simple pleasures that once filled my days. It’s easy to forget those moments as we grow older, but they’re still there, tucked away in a corner of our minds, waiting to be rediscovered. The colours and textures in this painting truly bring the scene to life, evoking a sense of nostalgia and wonder. My attention to detail and ability to capture the essence of childhood innocence is truly remarkable.
This artwork isn’t just a celebration of childhood; it’s also a tribute to the importance of World Children’s Day. This day serves as a reminder of the value of nurturing and protecting the youngest members of our society, of giving them the freedom to explore, dream, and grow. Childhood is a time of wonder, a canvas filled with bright colours and endless possibilities. It’s a time when the world feels infinite, and every experience is new and exciting. As an artist, I strive to evoke these feelings in my work, creating pieces that transport viewers back to a time of pure joy and imagination.
As adults, we often lose touch with that sense of wonder. The responsibilities and challenges of daily life can dull our appreciation for the simple joys that once came so naturally. But I believe that celebrating World Children’s Day isn’t just about recognising the children around us—it’s also about reconnecting with the child within ourselves. By tapping into our inner child, we can rediscover a sense of curiosity, creativity, and boundless potential. Embracing this mindset can lead to greater happiness, inspiration, and a renewed zest for life.
We all carry an inner child, that part of us that still marvels at a rainbow, that feels giddy at the sight of a carnival, that loves to kick off our shoes and run barefoot through the grass. For some, that inner child might feel neglected, overshadowed by years of adult concerns. But days like World Children’s Day remind us to nurture that part of ourselves, to allow it to heal and flourish. Taking time to connect with our inner child can bring a sense of joy and wonder back into our lives. It's important to remember that embracing our childlike curiosity can lead to a more fulfilling and vibrant existence.
When I look at the girl in this artwork, I see more than just a character I’ve drawn. I see a symbol of the innocence and joy that every child deserves to experience—and that every adult deserves to remember. Her carefree smile, her delight in the flowers she’s gathered, her ability to find beauty in the simplest things—these are qualities that we can all strive to embrace, no matter our age. Embracing a childlike curiosity can help us see the world in a new light and bring a sense of joy and wonder back into our lives.
Children truly are a gift from God, bringing light and love into the world with their pure hearts and unbridled enthusiasm. It is important to cherish and nurture these precious beings, guiding them towards a future filled with hope and happiness. As adults, we can learn so much from children by embracing their innocence, creativity, and unwavering belief in the goodness of the world. Let us never forget the beauty and wonder that children bring into our lives, and always strive to protect and support them in every way possible.
World Children’s Day also highlights the importance of creating a world where children can thrive. It’s a call to action for all of us to ensure that every child has access to education, healthcare, and a safe environment. Children are the future, and the love and care we pour into their lives will shape the world they grow up in. At the same time, it’s a day to celebrate the magic of childhood—the laughter, the imagination, the boundless energy. It’s about encouraging children to dream big, to explore their creativity, and to embrace their unique qualities. It’s about showing them that they are valued and loved, just as they are.
For those of us who are no longer children, it’s a day to reflect on the role we play in supporting the next generation. Whether it’s by being a mentor, a teacher, a parent, or simply a kind and encouraging presence, we all have the power to make a difference in a child’s life. And in doing so, we can rediscover some of that childhood wonder for ourselves. I hope this artwork serves as a reminder of the beauty and joy of childhood, not just for World Children’s Day but for every day. Whether you’re a child or an adult, there’s something magical about taking a moment to appreciate the simple pleasures in life—a field of flowers, a sunny day, a basket full of roses.
For me, this week is about more than just creating art. It’s about celebrating the spirit of childhood in all its forms. Each piece I create will be a tribute to that spirit, a way of capturing the joy and innocence that make childhood such a precious time. As I move on to the next artwork, I’ll carry with me the hope that these illustrations can bring a smile to someone’s face, that they can remind someone of a happy memory or inspire them to create new ones. Because at the end of the day, art isn’t just about what you see—it’s about what you feel. And I hope this piece fills your heart with warmth, just as it did mine while I was creating it.
So here’s to World Children’s Day, to the children who light up our lives, and to the children within each of us. May we all find the courage to embrace that part of ourselves, to heal old wounds, and to nurture the joy and wonder that make life truly beautiful. As I take a step back and look at the finished artwork, I can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude. I am grateful for the memories that inspired it, for the tools and skills that allowed me to bring it to life, and for the opportunity to share it with others. It’s a reminder that no matter how complex life may become, there will always be moments of simplicity and joy waiting to be discovered—if only we take the time to look.

I’ve just created another digital artwork, and it’s particularly special to me. With World Children's Day coming up this Wednesday, I thought it would be fitting to dedicate this entire week to illustrating children. Childhood has always been a theme that inspires me—so full of life, wonder, and possibilities. This particular piece is based on a vector clipart I’ve archived for years, one that I’ve always wanted to reimagine in my style. I chose vibrant colours and playful shapes to capture the essence of innocence and joy that children embody.
The subject of the artwork is a radiant young girl, full of innocence and charm, captured mid-motion as though she’s spinning or dancing joyfully down a garden path. Her golden hair is styled in soft, bouncy waves, with a headband neatly placed to sweep her locks away from her face. The hair has a sunlit glow, reflecting her vibrant energy. Her smile is wide and carefree, her blue eyes sparkling with delight as though she’s caught in a moment of pure happiness. She exudes a timeless joy, the kind that instantly lifts your spirits.
Her outfit is a cocktail dress, simple yet elegant, made for a lively celebration. The bodice is a rich violet shade with thin, pink straps that blend into a layered pink skirt, which fans out slightly like a breeze. The contrast of violet and pink gives the dress a youthful, playful look, yet the clean lines make it feel sophisticated in its simplicity. Her red ballet flats complete the look, their bold colour adding a touch of whimsy and tying the outfit together beautifully. There’s something effortless yet polished about her attire as if she’s dressed for a garden party or a dance recital in an enchanted setting.
The background adds to the charm of the artwork. It’s a dreamy garden scene, filled with soft light and pastel hues. Flower arches frame a long pathway adorned with delicate designs, like a fairy tale brought to life. The colours of the garden are subtle—blush pinks, whites, and greens blend harmoniously, creating a soft focus that enhances the vibrancy of the girl. It’s as though the entire world around her is celebrating her joy and vitality. The overall composition exudes a sense of tranquillity and grace, inviting the viewer to step into this magical realm alongside the girl.
This piece took me some time to bring to life, but every detail was worth it. From perfecting the soft folds of her skirt to adding that touch of sunlight to her hair, I wanted every aspect to feel as alive and cheerful as she did. While working on it, I found myself reminiscing about my childhood, moments of pure, unfiltered joy that seemed so vivid in memory yet so fleeting in time. Creating this artwork allowed me to capture and preserve those fleeting moments of joy, infusing them into the painting for others to experience.
I hope this artwork not only celebrates World Children’s Day but also serves as a reminder of the beauty of childhood. It’s a time we often look back on fondly, a chapter in life that shapes so much of who we become. This is just the start of my weeklong tribute, and I’m looking forward to creating more pieces that capture the wonder and innocence of being young. Through my art, I aim to evoke nostalgia and appreciation for the simplicity and purity of childhood. Each stroke of the brush is a reflection of the laughter, curiosity, and imagination that define this magical time in our lives.

I just completed another digital art piece—a fan art of Chloe Carmichael from "The Fairly OddParents." The thrill of bringing her character to life in my style filled me with an odd mix of joy and pride. If there’s one thing I love about creating fan art, it’s the chance to express my interpretation of a beloved character while staying true to their core traits and essence. Chloe Carmichael, a new addition to the main cast in Season 10, is Timmy Turner’s neighbour and one of his few genuine friends. She’s a whirlwind of energy, ambition, and optimism, and I felt excited and challenged to capture her bubbly personality in this artwork.
In my piece, Chloe stands amidst a vibrant, blossoming meadow, arms spread wide as if she’s about to pull the entire world into a big, enthusiastic hug. Her blue eyes, big and bright, radiate that characteristic spark of hers—a mix of enthusiasm and determination that, once noticed, is impossible to ignore. Her hair, a cascade of golden blonde, flows down her back, capturing a bit of sunshine in every strand. I added a purple bow to her hair, which perfectly complements her cheerful demeanour and makes her seem playful and stylish.
Chloe’s outfit in this artwork mirrors her zest for life. She’s dressed in a yellow sleeveless top with white trim at the hem, a colour that practically screams “sunshine.” Paired with black leggings and purple sandals, her look is simple yet effective, capturing her childlike spirit while giving her an air of practicality. I’ve always admired characters who can look both adorable and functional. This balance makes Chloe relatable like she could be any of the kids you see running around the playground. But her outfit wouldn’t be complete without her signature purple bow and, of course, that little gap in her teeth that peeks out when she smiles. It's such a small detail, but somehow it makes her character feel even more genuine.
Chloe is such a fascinating character to draw, not just because of her outward appearance but because of everything she stands for. Born on the same day as Timmy, she’s his unlikely counterpart in so many ways. While Timmy often wishes for things purely for himself, Chloe’s wishes are, more often than not, to help others. I remember watching an episode where she wished for resources to protect endangered animals and another where she wished to reduce pollution. Her good intentions sometimes get her into trouble, but her heart is always in the right place. I admire her dedication to making the world a better place, and in my artwork, I tried to capture that spark of idealism and hopefulness in her eyes and the openness of her posture.
Chloe’s character is full of quirks that make her both endearing and relatable. She’s an over-achiever with a boundless “can-do” attitude and an unwavering optimism. Even though life doesn’t always reward her good intentions, Chloe pushes forward, determined to help others, no matter the cost to herself. This drive to do good can sometimes lead her into chaotic situations, but she keeps going, unfazed by the challenges. In many ways, she embodies that childlike spirit of resilience, where even if the world knocks you down, you get up, dust yourself off, and try again. Capturing this aspect of her personality was important to me, so I posed her with open arms, almost as if she was inviting the viewer to share in her enthusiasm.
Her high-energy nature is both a strength and a weakness. While her determination and optimism are commendable, they can also be overwhelming, both for her and the people around her. Timmy, for example, initially found her overbearing. He was used to having Cosmo and Wanda, his Fairy Godparents, all to himself, and Chloe’s presence felt like an intrusion. Not only did she suddenly share his Fairy Godparents due to a shortage in the fairy world, but her constant drive to do good also made Timmy look like a slacker in comparison. I remember watching an episode where he grew frustrated with her relentless optimism, feeling as though he was forever being outshined. Yet, despite their differences, Chloe and Timmy eventually found common ground. Their friendship developed slowly, built on mutual understanding and acceptance, and eventually, they became each other’s only real friend.
To me, this relationship between Chloe and Timmy is one of the most compelling aspects of her character. Chloe may be an over-achiever, but that same drive isolates her from her peers. Her high standards and refusal to compromise sometimes make it hard for other kids to relate to her, leaving her lonely despite her many accomplishments. In one episode, Timmy learns that her goody-two-shoes personality leaves her without friends, and that’s when he softens towards her. It’s a touching moment because it shows that underneath all her enthusiasm, Chloe is still just a kid wanting acceptance and friendship. I wanted my artwork to reflect this, so I gave her a joyful expression as if she’s finally found a friend who accepts her quirks and all.
Another side of Chloe that I find intriguing is her vulnerability. Despite her energetic, go-getter attitude, she’s prone to extreme emotions and, at times, bouts of mania. Her determination can swing to obsession, as seen on her birthday each year when she becomes hyper-focused on being the centre of attention. Normally, Chloe is all about helping others and spreading positivity, but on this one day, she lets her desires come first. I can’t help but find this relatable; everyone has that one day where they want to feel special and acknowledged. In my artwork, I hinted at this trait through her wide, almost manic grin, a subtle reminder of how even the kindest hearts can crave a moment of personal glory.
Chloe’s high energy and strong moral compass often lead her to clash with Timmy. They argue, they compete, and sometimes, they hurt each other’s feelings. One episode that stands out to me is “Birthday Battle,” where they both throw competing birthday parties, each trying to outdo the other. It’s such a classic kid thing to do, this needs to be “the best,” and it reminds me of the friendships I had growing up. I wanted this artwork to capture that competitive yet affectionate bond they share. Even though she and Timmy argue, there’s a deep respect and understanding between them. Chloe cares for Timmy deeply, and Timmy, in turn, has come to appreciate her loyalty and kindness, despite how irritating her perfectionism can be at times.
One of Chloe’s biggest challenges is her struggle to say no. She’s such a people-pleaser that even when something doesn’t benefit her, she’ll go along with it just to keep others happy. There’s a scene in “Whittle Me This” where she can’t bring herself to tell Catman, an eccentric hero, that she’s not his former sidekick. Her unwillingness to disappoint him almost ends in disaster, with her Fairy Godparents nearly getting captured by Mr. Crocker. This moment, like so many others, illustrates how her kind-heartedness can sometimes lead her into tricky situations. It’s a double-edged sword, this relentless positivity and desire to help, and it’s what makes her character so interesting. In my fan art, I wanted to hint at this characteristic by giving her an open and inviting posture, as if she’s saying, “I’m here to help, no matter what!”
Chloe’s favourite show, "The Fair Bears," is a perfect fit for her personality. The show’s message about being fair and kind to others resonates deeply with her values. Watching her enthusiasm for The Fair Bears in the show always makes me smile because it’s such a genuine reflection of her character. Chloe doesn’t just talk about kindness; she lives it, sometimes to her detriment. Her compassion is so strong that she even embraces Timmy’s quirks and flaws, accepting him as her friend despite his many mistakes and selfish tendencies. For this reason, I wanted the background of my artwork to be a vibrant, blooming garden, symbolising Chloe’s love for all living things and her nurturing spirit.
In the end, Chloe is a character of contrasts. She’s bubbly yet vulnerable, strong-willed yet overly accommodating, and kind-hearted yet prone to obsession. In my fan art, I hoped to capture all these facets of her personality—the joy, the optimism, the intensity, and the hint of loneliness that lies beneath her cheerful exterior. Fan art isn’t just about recreating a character’s appearance; it’s about distilling their essence into a single moment, a single expression, a single gesture. And for Chloe, that moment is one of pure, unabashed enthusiasm, as she stands with arms wide open, ready to take on the world, one good deed at a time.

I’ve created another digital art piece, diving into the world of fan art once more. This time, I’ve featured Dora Márquez, the iconic adventurer of “Dora the Explorer.” She’s the main protagonist and hostess of this beloved television series and has also appeared in spin-offs like “Dora and Friends: Into the City!” and “Go, Diego, Go!” The moment I chose Dora as my subject, I felt a surge of nostalgia and excitement. After all, Dora isn’t just any character; she’s a hero and a symbol of curiosity, kindness, and resilience—a character who’s shaped so many childhoods, including mine.
In my artwork, I decided to portray Dora as the young, lively girl we first met on her early adventures. She’s as curious and spirited as ever, yet I’ve added some hints from her updated design in the 2024 reboot. I wanted to blend the classic Dora with the modern touch that newer generations recognise. Her skin is a warm, dark peach, almost verging on orange, which makes her stand out beautifully against the vibrant jungle backdrop. Her brown bob-cut hair, styled in its familiar way, frames her face with an innocence and energy that feels timeless. Dora’s brown eyes are wide and expressive, capturing that spark of curiosity she’s always had—the very spark that’s drawn children and adults alike into her world of exploration and wonder.
As I painted Dora’s outfit, I felt a deep sense of satisfaction seeing each detail come together. She’s wearing her iconic pink t-shirt, layered over a purple shirt that peeks out subtly from underneath. It’s a small detail, but one that adds depth to her look, connecting her older design with her refreshed 2024 appearance. Her orange shorts bring a burst of brightness to the outfit, harmonising with her yellow sports socks, which peek out from her purple and light pink sneakers. Each colour and element of her clothing feels intentional, designed to embody the cheerful, adventurous spirit that Dora represents.
One little detail I’m particularly fond of is the yellow bracelet she’s wearing on her right wrist. There’s a small blue flower on it, giving the accessory a youthful charm. In my imagination, this bracelet was a birthday present Dora received when she turned four—a symbol of love from her family, a simple but precious keepsake that she treasures. It’s the kind of thing that feels like it carries stories within it, representing her connection to her family, even though she spends so much time outside exploring.
Dora’s kindness shines through in her interactions with others, and I wanted to capture that in her expression. She’s the kind of character who doesn’t hold grudges, not even against Swiper, the sneaky fox who constantly tries to swipe her belongings. Swiper might be a nuisance, but Dora doesn’t let frustration or anger get the best of her. She remains patient, even understanding, and always ready to give others a second chance. It’s one of the things I admire most about her—a rare quality, especially in a world where forgiveness and patience can sometimes feel like weaknesses. Dora shows that these qualities are strengths, ones that make her the beloved character she is.
Of course, Dora’s adventurous spirit goes beyond her kindness. She’s a girl who values her family deeply, though her life of exploration often keeps her outdoors, far from home. Family is her grounding force, her inspiration. She shares bits of her traditions and customs with her friends and viewers, but she does so gently, never forcing her way of life on anyone. She introduces new ideas, food, and language with subtlety, allowing others to appreciate them without feeling pressured. In a way, I wanted my artwork to reflect that spirit of openness and warmth as if Dora is inviting anyone who looks at her to join her on an adventure, to learn a new word, or to try something different.
Her bond with her best friend, Boots the Monkey, is another element that makes Dora special. Boots became her friend after she helped him save his beloved red boots from Swiper. I imagine that moment solidified their friendship, creating a connection that has only grown stronger over time. Though Boots doesn’t appear in this particular artwork, his presence is felt in the way Dora carries herself. She’s not just an explorer but a friend who values loyalty, kindness, and shared experiences. When I look at her expression, I imagine she’s thinking about her next adventure with Boots by her side, ready to face any challenge together.
Sports are a big part of Dora’s life, too. She’s an athlete, with a particular passion for soccer. I can picture her playing with boundless energy, her laughter ringing out as she chases the ball, her eyes focused and determined. She even played on a baseball team with Boots and other friends, coached by her father. It’s touching to think about how her father must feel, seeing his daughter’s enthusiasm and drive. In my mind, that’s the only “job” he’s ever needed—to support Dora in her passions and encourage her to follow her dreams. Soccer, however, is where she truly shines. She’s not just good at it; she excels, embodying the competitive spirit while remaining the same kind-hearted girl we know and love.
Music is another passion of Dora’s, and it’s something I’ve woven subtly into her character as I illustrated her. She’s skilled at playing the wooden flute and the guitar, which adds another layer to her creativity and her connection to her cultural roots. Through music, Dora expresses herself in ways words cannot. I imagine her sitting by a campfire, strumming her guitar and singing softly in both Spanish and English, sharing stories through melodies that reflect her journey and the people she’s met along the way. It’s a side of her that feels deeply personal, a reminder that there’s more to Dora than just her adventurous spirit.
Dora’s bilingualism is one of her defining traits, and it makes her so relatable to children around the world. She’s fluent in both English and Spanish, and she uses this skill to bridge cultures, teaching viewers new words and phrases. She’s like a little teacher, guiding children through the basics of Spanish in a way that feels natural and engaging. She doesn’t just teach vocabulary; she helps viewers see the world through a different lens, one that values diversity and understanding. In my artwork, I wanted to capture that sense of openness and curiosity, the feeling that Dora is always ready to learn and share what she knows. Her role as a translator for characters like Tico and Señor Tucán shows her empathy and understanding, making her not just a friend to her fellow characters but also a bridge between worlds.
As I finished the piece, I took a moment to step back and appreciate the details, the colours, and the expression on Dora’s face. This artwork isn’t just a tribute to her character; it’s a reflection of everything she represents. She’s a character who has grown with us, and who has taught us to be kind, brave, and curious. Dora’s adventures aren’t just physical journeys; they’re journeys of the heart and mind, lessons on how to treat others, and reminders to embrace the unknown with a smile.
In the end, I feel this artwork captures Dora’s essence—a young Latina girl who, despite her youth, embodies wisdom beyond her years. She’s a character who has shown us that heroes don’t always need capes or superpowers. Sometimes, all it takes is a backpack, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to see the good in others. I hope this piece brings a bit of that magic to everyone who sees it, a reminder of the boundless spirit that lives within all of us, waiting to explore, learn, and connect with others. As I sign my name on this digital canvas, I know that this piece will always hold a special place in my portfolio, a tribute to a character who has shaped so many lives, including my own.

I've been creating digital art for quite some time now, but every piece feels fresh, unique, and exciting, like stepping into a new world with every character. This time, I’ve gone back to my roots as a fan artist, drawing inspiration from an old favourite – Mona Lisa, a character from the 1987 "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series. Fans might remember her in her mutated form, but I wanted to capture a different side of her. Instead of the amphibian hybrid she became, I decided to depict her as she was before her transformation – just a human girl with a bright future and a brave heart.
As I sketched her, I envisioned the character in a more grounded, relatable form. In my version, Mona Lisa is a young Caucasian lady, probably in her late teens, with that lively spark of youth. She has long, chestnut-brown hair that she ties back in a practical yet stylish ponytail, held in place with a pink hair tie that matches her outfit. Her eyes are deep – windows into a soul that’s full of curiosity and determination. Her smile is not enigmatic, but genuine and warm, reflecting her kindness and approachability.
She is dressed in a pink dress, a choice that feels both classic and fresh. The colour pink adds a youthful innocence to her look, contrasting with her inner toughness and the challenges she will soon face. To complement her dress, I added pink heels, elevating her style with a touch of elegance, and gave her gold bangles and necklaces – subtle accessories that bring out her spirited personality. She’s not just a character; she’s a young woman with dreams, ambitions, and a fire within her.
As I worked on this piece, I found myself thinking deeply about Mona Lisa’s backstory. In the series, she’s a college student, majoring in physics, which instantly makes her stand out. Physics isn’t the easiest of subjects, and it takes a sharp mind and a lot of dedication. I imagined her as someone who might stay up late in the university library, her textbooks scattered across a table as she dives into complex equations and theories. But Mona Lisa isn’t just brains; she has a strong sense of adventure and curiosity that draws her to unexpected places.
One of those places, unfortunately, was a fishing trip with her friends. Maybe they went out on a sunny Saturday, hoping to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Mona Lisa, probably exhausted from late-night studying, welcomed the break. She could practically feel the cool breeze and hear the gentle sound of water against the boat as she and her friends joked, laughed, and tried to catch something – anything. But little did they know, danger was lurking on the horizon.
Enter Captain Filch, a pirate with grandiose dreams of world domination and a cold, ruthless nature. He was the type who thrived on fear and manipulation, and he had his eyes set on Mona Lisa’s boat that day. In the blink of an eye, what started as a peaceful outing turned into a nightmare. Filch’s menacing submarine surfaced, casting a dark shadow over the boat. Before they knew it, Mona Lisa and her friends were in trouble. Her friends managed to escape, jumping into the water and swimming to safety in a frantic rush. But the Mona Lisa, in a twist of fate, was captured.
I can only imagine what must have gone through her mind in those moments. One moment, she was a carefree college student, and the next, she was a prisoner on a pirate’s submarine. But Mona Lisa wasn’t one to be easily intimidated. Even in the face of Filch’s demands, she kept her composure. The pirate was no fool; he recognised her intelligence and tried to exploit it. He wanted her expertise to help with his experiments, which were all part of a twisted plan to conquer the world. But Mona Lisa wasn’t one to be coerced so easily.
Knowing she couldn’t overpower him directly, Mona Lisa did something brilliant. She played along. I pictured her feigning interest, nodding when Filch spoke about his plans, pretending to admire his genius – all the while, her mind was working, analysing, looking for a way out. She was trapped on his submarine, but she wasn’t defeated. This was her chance to strike back. Mona Lisa knew that patience and cunning would be her best weapons in this situation. She bided her time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to turn the tables on Filch and escape from his clutches.
One night, after carefully observing the submarine’s systems and studying Filch’s behaviour, she saw her opportunity. She knew the risks involved, but she was prepared. Quietly, she made her way through the submarine, her footsteps silent but her heart pounding in her chest. The goal was to sabotage his nuclear reactor – a dangerous task, but if successful, it would cripple his plans and give her a chance to escape. As she reached the reactor room, she worked quickly and efficiently, knowing that time was of the essence. With a steady hand and a racing mind, she set her plan in motion, hoping that her daring move would be enough to secure her freedom.
But things didn’t go as planned. Just as she was about to complete her mission, something went wrong. The reactor, unstable, began to emit radiation. Mona Lisa, exposed to the harmful energy, felt an intense, burning sensation as her body began to change. She was transforming, her very DNA shifting under the influence of the radiation. This was the moment she became the mutant fans would come to know – an amphibian-like creature with a fierce determination for justice.
As I added the final touches to my artwork, I felt a sense of fulfilment. This wasn’t just fan art; it was a tribute to a character who embodies courage, intelligence, and determination. Reflecting on the finished piece, I could see how every stroke and every colour choice came together to capture her essence. The pink of her dress, her calm yet resolute expression, the simple yet elegant jewellery – each detail tells a part of her story, a story of transformation, resilience, and heroism.
In conclusion, this fan art of Mona Lisa serves not only as a tribute to a beloved character from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," but also as a reminder of the strength that lies within all of us. Like the Mona Lisa, we may face unexpected challenges and moments of transformation. But with determination and bravery, we can rise above them and continue to fight for what we believe in. And perhaps, in our journeys, we’ll find ourselves becoming heroes in our own right, just as Mona Lisa did.

I sat at my desk, the gentle hum of my computer filling the quiet room as I stared at the completed piece on my screen. Once again, I’d created another digital artwork, pouring countless hours and my heart into something that meant so much to me. This time, it was a fan art of Princess Bloom from one of my all-time favourite cartoons, Winx Club. A wave of satisfaction washed over me, mixed with the familiar post-creation jitters that came from the combination of excitement and slight apprehension about whether others would see what I did.
Bloom wasn’t just any character. She was the Fairy of the Dragon Flame, a being of unmatched power and a symbol of resilience, leadership, and growth. Over the years, watching Winx Club, I’d connected deeply with her journey, seeing her transformation from an insecure young girl into a fierce and determined leader. As I zoomed in to look at the finer details of my artwork, I admired the way her red-orange hair cascaded down to her waist, flowing like molten fire, a small single strand rebelliously sticking up as if to remind everyone of her fiery spirit.
Her large, cyan eyes seemed to sparkle with hope and determination, even on my screen. Those eyes had witnessed so much in the series – battles, heartbreaks, victories, and moments of deep introspection. They were eyes that carried stories, ones that I had spent countless hours watching unfold. I had chosen to capture her in an outfit that I felt symbolised her grace and confidence: her formal dance minidress. The way the fabric hugged her curves, accentuating her slender figure, only added to the aura of elegance she exuded. It was as if she was ready to take on any challenge that came her way with poise and grace.
The outfit had taken me a long while to perfect, ensuring every fold, colour, and detail was just right. The dress was made up of a turquoise one-shoulder top with a bold pink flower resting gracefully on the left side. The fabric curved around her torso, tied together with a delicate ring at her side that exposed part of her belly and navel. It gave the dress an airy, carefree look as if Bloom was dancing through life, unafraid to embrace the winds of change. The miniskirt beneath it had two layers – the top one dark green and the bottom a soft turquoise, adding dimension and movement to the outfit. I spent extra time highlighting the way the fabric would catch the light, imagining how it would sway as she spun and twirled in Alfea’s grand ballroom.
Her sandals, high and elegant, were a turquoise shade that matched the dress perfectly. They had delicate straps and little bows that hinted at Bloom's playful side, even when she was dressed formally. As I looked at the completed piece, I could almost picture her standing on the glistening marble floors of Alfea College, where she had spent so much of her formative years learning to hone her magic and grow into the incredible fairy she became. The dress was a symbol of her growth and transformation, a reminder of the powerful fairy she had become. It was a testament to her strength, beauty, and resilience in the face of adversity.
Thinking back to the series, I recalled Bloom’s early days. She had started as an ordinary girl from Gardenia, unaware of her true origins. I had always admired the way the show handled her journey – how she stumbled and fell, how she questioned herself, but always picked herself up. Bloom’s journey resonated with me, and I suspect with many others because it wasn’t perfect. She had her flaws – impatience, stubbornness, and an impulsive nature that often landed her in sticky situations. I thought of the time when she mistakenly attacked Diaspro, believing her to be one of the Trix in disguise. The embarrassment and regret she felt afterwards were palpable, showing that even powerful fairies like Bloom could be wrong.
But her greatest strength was also her greatest challenge: the Dragon Flame. This power made her the most formidable fairy in the Magic Dimension but also painted a target on her back. Enemies like the Trix, Darkar, Valtor, and the Ancestral Witches were relentless, driven by their thirst for her power. I admired how, despite this, Bloom refused to let fear dictate her actions. She fought not just for herself but for those she loved – her friends, her family, her kingdom.
I tilted my head, looking at the completed image, imagining Bloom’s story in vivid detail. Her character arc was one of perseverance. Yes, she had been impulsive at times, letting her emotions get the best of her. But as the series progressed, she learned from her mistakes. I reflected on how she started desperately seeking answers about her past, a search that sometimes made her appear selfish or overly focused on her own needs. Yet, as she discovered more about herself and her powers, she matured.
In my artwork, I tried to capture this duality – the fierce warrior and the caring friend. The Bloom who was unafraid to stand up to the darkest of evils and the Bloom who laughed and danced with her friends during their downtime at Alfea. I thought about the later seasons of Winx Club, especially World of Winx, where Bloom had grown into a wise, strategic leader. She was still kind-hearted, but there was a new depth to her – a seriousness that came with the responsibilities she had taken on.
Creating art like this always brought me into a reflective state. I wasn’t just drawing Bloom; I was recounting her journey, revisiting moments that had made me smile or brought tears to my eyes. I thought of the friends who stood by her side – Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Aisha. Each one brought something unique to their dynamic, and Bloom, as their leader, always made sure they were united. She wasn’t perfect, and she didn’t pretend to be. But she cared deeply, fought fiercely, and loved with her whole heart.
The soft glow of the screen reflected in my own eyes as I leaned back, satisfied with my work. The background I’d chosen was soft and ethereal, a wash of purples and blues with tiny sparkles, like the magical skies of Magix. It framed Bloom perfectly, making her appear as though she was about to step out of the digital world and into reality. As I hit save on the final edits, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in capturing Bloom's essence so perfectly. The image was a tribute to her strength, vulnerability, and unwavering dedication to her friends.
I thought about her moments of weakness – the times she doubted herself or felt lost. When she discovered that her real parents, King Oritel and Queen Marion of Domino, were alive, it had been an emotional turning point. I recalled the tears she shed, the disbelief that washed over her, and the joy that came with finally being able to fill the void she had felt for so long. It was stories like these that made Bloom so much more than just a character; she was a symbol of hope and perseverance.
With a final glance at the artwork, I smiled. To me, Bloom was more than the central protagonist of Winx Club; she was a reminder that strength isn’t just about power. It’s about heart, resilience, and learning from the past. Bloom had shown me that it’s okay to be unsure, to make mistakes, and to fall – as long as you get back up and keep moving forward. Creating this piece was my tribute to her journey and all the lessons she had imparted.
As I saved the final file, a sense of completion settled over me. Art had always been a way for me to express my love for the stories and characters that shaped my imagination. Bloom was a part of that tapestry, a beacon in my creative world. With her bright smile and fierce spirit captured on my screen, I knew I had done her justice. The process of creating this piece reminded me of the resilience and strength that Bloom embodies, inspiring me to face my challenges with determination. As I reflected on the finished artwork, I felt a sense of pride in honouring her journey and the impact she has had on my creative endeavours.

Once again, I've found myself immersed in the joys of digital art, creating yet another piece that reflects my love for vibrant characters. This time, I crafted a fan art of Tiffi, short for Toffette, the lively protagonist of "Candy Crush Saga." This character holds a special place in my heart, perhaps because "Candy Crush" is a game that resonates deeply with me. There’s something about its colourful aesthetics and catchy music that creates a world so inviting, so sweet, that I lose myself in it every time I play. And Tiffi—well, she embodies the spirit of this sugary universe with her cheerful personality and simple, almost childlike enthusiasm.
As I began my work on Tiffi, I found myself captivated by her vibrant look. Tiffi has golden blonde hair that’s often styled in adorable pigtails. I love how these are tied up with a bright red ribbon, giving her a playful look that suits her personality perfectly. Her hair frames her face in a way that draws attention to her rosy cheeks and wide, expressive eyes. Tiffi’s face is such a joy to illustrate because every part of it seems to radiate her emotions so openly. Her cheeks, always slightly flushed, convey her endless energy and warmth. And then there’s her smile—that brilliant, excited smile that can light up an entire candy world. I tried to capture that in my artwork, hoping that anyone who looked at it could feel a hint of her boundless enthusiasm.
Tiffi’s outfit is as vibrant as her character. She wears a pink dress with golden puffed sleeves, giving her a look that’s both sweet and slightly regal as if she’s the princess of this candy-coated realm. The pink and gold colours complement each other, bringing out her youthful charm while also giving her a distinct and recognisable look. I wanted every detail in my art to emphasise her personality, from the way her dress flows to the playful gleam in her eyes. In the world of "Candy Crush Saga," Tiffi is more than just a character—she’s a symbol of joy and determination, a small but powerful figure who’s always ready to help others.
Tiffi’s personality, however, goes beyond her appearance. She’s incredibly cheerful and optimistic, but there’s also a certain innocence to her. She’s simple in her emotions, sometimes even naïve, and I find that endearing. When a player fails a level, Tiffi first looks surprised, and then, heartbreakingly, she begins to cry. It’s a sorrowful sight, watching her little face crumple with disappointment as if she’s experiencing the loss herself. There’s something very human about this reaction, this openness to feel sadness when things don’t go as planned. It’s a reminder that even in this fantastical candy world, emotions still matter.
But Tiffi isn’t one to dwell on sadness for too long. When a player passes a level, she becomes so ecstatic, her happiness practically infectious. I tried to capture that joy in my artwork, giving her a lively pose, arms outstretched as if she were dancing in celebration. This side of Tiffi, her resilience and readiness to bounce back, is one of the reasons why I adore her character. She reminds me of the importance of finding joy even in the smallest victories. In many ways, Tiffi’s reactions mirror the emotional ups and downs we all experience, and her ability to move past disappointment is something we could all learn from.
Throughout the game, Tiffi’s interactions with other characters highlight her helpful nature. She’s always the first to ask, “What’s wrong?” whenever a problem arises. Each episode introduces a new character facing some form of trouble, and Tiffi never hesitates to step in and offer her assistance. Whether it’s fixing a broken bridge or finding lost candies, Tiffi is a constant source of support in the Candy Crush universe. I love this about her—that she’s not just there for her journey but for others as well. Her kindness and willingness to help embody the spirit of friendship, and in my artwork, I wanted her open arms to symbolise that sense of inclusivity and warmth.
One of the most memorable episodes for me is Bubblegum Bridge, where Tiffi becomes visibly distressed when her candies are stolen. Her sadness in that moment feels so genuine, as if she truly treasures every piece of candy in her world. It’s a testament to her big heart and her passion for all things sweet. As I worked on my fan art, I thought about this episode and how Tiffi’s sadness here reveals a deeper, more emotional side to her. I wanted to capture not just her joy but also the sensitivity that makes her character so relatable. She cares deeply about everything and everyone in her world, even the candies, and that’s a rare and beautiful quality.
Another notable episode is Savoury Shores, the 22nd episode, where Tiffi meets her underwater twin, Milly. The two characters share a striking resemblance, and it’s as if Tiffi’s world has expanded to include a part of herself she never knew existed. It’s such an interesting moment in the game, and it adds a layer of mystery to her character. The idea of meeting an underwater twin brings a sense of adventure and wonder, and I tried to reflect that spirit in Tiffi’s expression in my artwork. She’s a character who’s always ready to explore, meet new people, and embrace the unknown with an open heart.
In Episode 15, Sweet Surprise, Tiffi brings together all the characters she’s helped in a grand celebration after level 215. This party is a culmination of her kindness and helpfulness throughout the game. It’s a heartwarming moment, watching all these characters come together, united by Tiffi’s unwavering support and friendship. As I was creating my artwork, I imagined Tiffi’s excitement and joy at this gathering, her sense of fulfilment in seeing everyone happy. I wanted my art to reflect that moment of unity, that feeling of togetherness that Tiffi inspires in the Candy Crush world.
As I finished my artwork, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of connection to Tiffi. She’s more than just a character in a game—she’s a symbol of joy, resilience, and kindness. Her simple, cheerful nature reminds me of the importance of staying true to oneself, finding happiness in helping others, and facing life’s challenges with a positive outlook. Through my art, I wanted to capture all of these qualities, to create a piece that would resonate with anyone who’s ever found joy in Tiffi’s adventures.
In the end, this fan art of Tiffi is not just about recreating a beloved character. It’s about celebrating the qualities she represents, the small but powerful ways she brings light and happiness into the lives of everyone who encounters her. Through her, I’m reminded of the magic in simple acts of kindness and the beauty of staying hopeful, no matter what. Tiffi may be a character in a game, but her spirit transcends the screen, inspiring us all to be a little more cheerful, a little more helpful, and a lot more loving.

I’ve just finished another digital art piece, and once again, it’s an entry for a draw-this-in-your-style challenge. This one was hosted by Nesmeshno a few months ago, and I couldn’t resist joining in. The challenge was to reimagine this adorable little character, a cheerful young girl, and I really wanted to capture her playful spirit and vibrant personality.
The character is a delightful portrayal of childhood joy and innocence. She’s got these big, round eyes filled with excitement, almost like she’s living in a world where everything is fascinating and every little thing is a reason to smile. Her auburn hair is styled in two cute, bouncy buns, with a few strands escaping to give her that effortless, carefree look. I wanted to make her expression as lively as possible, so I gave her a wide smile, almost as if she’s about to burst out laughing, and a pair of little yellow smiley stickers on her cheeks. She’s pointing at the stickers with both hands, emphasising her cheerful expression in such a fun, childlike way.
She’s dressed in a bright orange pair of overalls, the kind that look soft and roomy, perfect for a child always on the move. I added a little rainbow patch on the pocket, a detail that felt right for her colourful personality. Underneath, she’s wearing a purple T-shirt, which complements the warm tones of her overalls nicely. It’s a simple outfit, but it has that cosy, playful feel that suits her character perfectly. I also rolled up the cuffs on her overalls a bit to show off her chunky, mismatched sneakers—one pink and one white with pink laces. It’s such a small detail, but it adds to her charm, giving her that slightly mismatched, unselfconscious style that children often have.
Working on this piece made me realise how much I want to dive deeper into children’s illustration. There’s something so wonderful about capturing that sense of childhood wonder—the way everything feels fresh and exciting, and even the smallest things can spark pure joy. I find it inspiring, that simple happiness children have, and it’s something I want to bring out more in my artwork. Creating illustrations that speak to that innocent, joyful side of life feels incredibly rewarding, and I hope I managed to capture even a small piece of that in this drawing.
Participating in these draw-this-in-your-style challenges always pushes me to experiment and learn, and with each piece, I feel like I’m growing a little closer to the kind of illustrator I aspire to be. This one was especially meaningful, as it reminded me of how much I love exploring that magical world of childhood through art.

I’ve created another digital artwork once again, and this time, it's fan art of a character many of you might recognise—Polly Pocket. It was a delightful process, and every brushstroke brought her vibrant personality to life. The Polly Pocket I drew is not just an ordinary girl; she's the bright, adventurous, and confident Polly that many have come to love through the cartoon series of the same name. As I worked on this piece, it reminded me of why Polly Pocket has always held a special place in the hearts of so many.
Polly Pocket is ten years old, yet she’s already the lead singer of her band, Polly and the Pockets, where she also plays the guitar. What a dream for someone so young! I found myself getting more and more inspired as I sketched out her features. You can sense her youthful energy just from the way she moves, and that’s what I tried to capture in my fan art. When I started with her face, I knew her large, dark baby-blue eyes had to take centre stage—they have that twinkle that speaks volumes about her adventurous spirit. The fair skin tone I gave her serves as a perfect contrast to the explosion of colours in her outfit, reflecting Polly’s love for fun and fashion.
Her hair—ah, the blonde locks! She often styles it in a long, flowing ponytail held together with a pink scrunchie, and I made sure to stay true to that detail. But it wasn’t just about getting the hairstyle right; I wanted to show how Polly’s hair mirrors her energetic nature. Every strand seems to bounce with her, like it’s always in motion, just like her. In the piece, Polly looks like she’s in mid-jump, arms wide open as if she’s inviting you to join her in her next grand adventure.
For her outfit, I didn’t want to hold back on the colours because Polly is all about brightness and vibrance. She’s wearing a short-sleeved green top that blends seamlessly into a vibrant orange dress. The dress flares out playfully, creating movement as if Polly is spinning around or twirling in joy. I made the skirt purple, a fun choice to contrast against the orange because Polly’s outfits always seem to have that balance of colours that makes her stand out from the crowd. Her pink belt adds an extra splash of character, tying the whole look together with a perfect pop of colour.
One of my favourite details is Polly’s footwear. She’s got on these funky purple boots, with bright green straps crisscrossing up the sides, giving her look that extra bit of spunk. It’s like the boots were made for jumping and running and having adventures. I can almost imagine Polly skating or skipping in them, not a care in the world, just enjoying life. I even added some colourful bracelets on her wrist—Polly’s never without her accessories! The little details like these are what make Polly, well, Polly.
But Polly Pocket isn’t just about fashion or looking cute. What I love most about her—and what I hope comes across in my artwork—is her heart. Polly is one of those rare characters who seems to genuinely care about everyone around her. Despite coming from a wealthy family, she’s humble and always ready to put others before herself. She’s constantly helping people, whether it’s her friends or someone she’s just met. Polly doesn’t see wealth as a measure of a person’s worth; she measures people by their kindness, their loyalty, and their sense of adventure.
When I was drawing Polly, I kept thinking about how she loves animals. I didn’t include any in this artwork, but her love for them is always present in her personality. Whether it’s rescuing a puppy or riding horses, Polly’s connection with animals reflects her gentle yet bold spirit. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty if it means helping a furry friend. I think that’s something we all can admire.
Speaking of adventures, Polly is never one to sit still. She’s always moving, always ready for the next exciting thing. Whether it’s roller skating, water skiing, or snowboarding, Polly lives for those heart-racing moments. In my artwork, I wanted to capture that energy, that unstoppable drive she has. You can tell just by looking at her that she’s thinking, “What’s next?” It’s that sense of curiosity and excitement that makes her so fun to draw. Polly's adventurous spirit is contagious, inspiring those around her to embrace new experiences and live life to the fullest.
Polly’s life is also about balancing the excitement with her love for fashion and music. When she’s not off on some wild escapade, you’ll find her strumming her guitar or hanging out with her bandmates. Music is a big part of Polly’s life, and I think it’s what keeps her so in tune with her friends. She’s confident on stage, not because she wants the spotlight, but because she loves sharing the experience with others. In a way, Polly’s music is an extension of who she is—a way for her to connect, share, and express all the joy and love she has inside.
One of my favourite quotes from Polly is, “Who needs perfect when you’ve got friends?” It’s such a simple yet powerful reminder of what matters. Polly is cool, friendly, optimistic, and most of all, she’s real. She knows that perfection isn’t the goal—friendship, loyalty, and adventure are. That’s what I tried to bring out in my art. She’s not standing still, perfectly posed; she’s leaping, laughing, and reaching out, reminding all of us that life is meant to be lived with friends by your side.
What makes Polly even more special is her sense of resourcefulness and optimism. No matter what situation she finds herself in, Polly can figure it out. Whether it’s building something from scratch or coming up with a clever plan, she’s always one step ahead. That’s something I tried to convey in her expression—a look that says she’s already figured out the next move. She’s a problem-solver, and that makes her adventures even more exciting.
But Polly isn’t just all fun and games. She’s also deeply loyal, and I think that’s what makes her friendships so strong. She’ll stick by her friends no matter what, and she’s always there to lend a helping hand. It’s that loyalty that makes Polly such a beloved character—she’s someone you can count on, no matter the situation. In my artwork, I wanted that to shine through. Polly’s open arms, her bright smile—it’s all an invitation, a message that says, “I’m here for you.”
As I finished my digital fan art of Polly Pocket, I took a step back and looked at the piece as a whole. The colours, the movement, the expression—it all felt right. Polly was alive on the screen, her infectious energy practically jumping out of the image. She’s the kind of character who makes you believe that anything is possible and that life is one big adventure waiting to happen. And that’s why I love creating fan art of characters like her.
Polly Pocket is more than just a cute cartoon character to me. She represents a sense of freedom, joy, and the importance of friendship. Through my fan art, I wanted to capture not just her look but her spirit. And I hope that anyone who sees this piece feels that same sense of excitement and adventure that Polly brings to every episode, every song, and every moment she shares with her friends. Creating fan art allows me to express my admiration for her character and the values she embodies.
In the end, creating this fan art wasn’t just about drawing a character I liked; it was about celebrating everything Polly Pocket stands for. Her kindness, her loyalty, her adventurous heart—it all comes together to make her the icon she is. I’m proud of this piece, and I hope it brings a little bit of Polly’s magic into the lives of everyone who sees it. Through my art, I aim to capture the essence of Polly's spirit and inspire others to embrace those same qualities in their own lives. Polly Pocket is more than just a character - she represents the power of friendship, imagination, and positivity in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

It feels like I’ve been on a creative streak lately, and I’m excited to share yet another piece of digital art I’ve worked on. This time, it features my original character, Liliana Oleander, who, as you probably already know, is the beloved sweetheart of Arlon Florian. They’ve both become more than just characters for me—they represent my ideal romantic love, the kind that’s pure, devoted, and everlasting. Whenever I create artwork with them, I feel like I’m painting a picture of what love means to me. And this piece? It’s no different—if anything, it’s a deeper dive into that essence.
For this artwork, I wanted to explore something intimate and personal, a reflection of the softer, more vulnerable side of Liliana. She’s always had this gentle but passionate love for Arlon, and I felt like now was the perfect time to show how deeply she feels it. So, what did I decide on? Another bathroom selfie! But not just any selfie—this one captures Liliana in a moment before she takes a bath, her heart bursting with feelings for Arlon. It’s like her love for him radiates from her entire being.
Let’s talk about the artwork itself. The first thing you’ll probably notice is Liliana’s expression. Her big, sapphire-blue eyes are wide open, sparkling like two pools of light with tears rolling down, and her delicate hands are pressed gently against her face as if she’s overwhelmed by emotion. She’s gazing forward, but it’s not just any look—it’s a gaze filled with awe, admiration, and most of all, love. I wanted her to look as though her thoughts were completely consumed by Arlon, and I think that comes through in the way she holds her cheeks, almost as if she’s trying to calm herself down. You can practically feel the way her heart is racing just from looking at her.
Her long, wavy hair falls gracefully down her back, cascading in rich brown waves that frame her face perfectly. It’s that timeless look she’s known for, the kind that adds to her soft beauty. There’s something about the way her hair shines, even in this bathroom setting, that hints at her elegance. And speaking of the bathroom—though the setting is simple, it’s the perfect backdrop for this intimate moment. The creamy, marble-like walls create a soft, warm glow around her, highlighting the tender atmosphere of the scene.
But there’s more to this piece than just the visual. The story behind it is just as important. This artwork captures Liliana in a private moment before her bath, where she’s not just preparing to cleanse her body, but also reflecting on the depth of her emotions. The way her eyes shimmer, the subtle curve of her lips—it’s as though she’s daydreaming about Arlon. She’s madly in love with him, and it shows in every detail. Her love for him isn’t just a passing fancy—it’s an all-consuming, passionate devotion. I wanted this artwork to tell that story: Liliana is crazy about Arlon, and in this quiet moment, her feelings are on full display.
Now, let’s dive deeper into her feelings. Imagine being so in love with someone that even in the most mundane moments—like getting ready for a bath—they’re all you can think about. That’s where Liliana is emotionally in this scene. She’s standing there, looking at herself in the mirror, but what she’s seeing is her connection to Arlon. Every thought, every feeling, every beat of her heart is for him. I like to imagine that as she’s about to step into the bath, her mind is flooded with memories of their time together—his smile, his touch, the sound of his voice. It’s overwhelming in the best way possible.
Liliana’s hands pressed against her cheeks are almost symbolic in this scene. It’s like she’s physically trying to hold herself together as if her love for Arlon is so powerful, so intense, that it’s about to spill over. There’s a mix of joy and longing in her eyes, a look that says, “I can’t wait to see him again. Maybe if only he can see me naked in this vulnerable state, he’ll understand how much I miss him." It’s these small details that make this artwork so personal to me. I wanted to capture that feeling of being so in love that it consumes you, even in the quietest moments of your day.
And then there’s her lips. They’re slightly parted as if she’s about to say something, but the words are stuck in her throat because the emotions are just too strong. Maybe she’s thinking about telling Arlon how much she loves him, or maybe she’s replaying a conversation they had in her mind. Either way, her lips hold a kind of unspoken love, a love that doesn’t need words to be felt. The way her eyes are closed, almost lost in the moment, adds to the intimacy of the scene. It's as if time has stopped and all that exists is the love between them, frozen in a single frame for eternity.
The lighting in the scene also plays a role in setting the mood. The soft, warm tones of the bathroom give the whole piece a gentle, almost dreamlike quality. It’s like we’re peeking into a very private, very personal moment in Liliana’s life. The warm glow around her contrasts beautifully with the coolness of her blue eyes, creating a balance between the warmth of her surroundings and the intensity of her emotions. I spent a lot of time playing with the lighting in this piece because I wanted it to reflect the warmth of her love for Arlon.
What I find most fascinating about this artwork is how it captures a moment that’s both simple and deeply emotional at the same time. On the surface, it’s just Liliana preparing for a bath, but beneath that, there’s so much more happening. It’s a moment of reflection, of longing, of love that’s so strong it’s almost tangible. I wanted to create an artwork that wasn’t just about what you see, but also about what you feel when you look at it. The artist skillfully conveys a sense of vulnerability and connection that resonates with viewers on a personal level.
This piece is also a reminder that love isn’t always about grand gestures or dramatic moments. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet, everyday moments where love shows itself the most. For Liliana, this is one of those moments. She’s not doing anything extraordinary—she’s just standing in her bathroom, lost in thought—but the emotions she’s feeling are so intense, so powerful, that it becomes extraordinary. And that’s the kind of love I wanted to depict here. The kind of love that’s ever-present, even in the most ordinary of moments.
As I step back and look at this artwork now, I feel a deep sense of satisfaction. Not just because I feel like I’ve captured Liliana’s love for Arlon, but because I’ve managed to create a piece that feels true to the characters I’ve developed over time. Liliana and Arlon have always been representations of ideal love for me, and with each new piece of artwork, I get to explore different aspects of that love. In this case, it’s about the quiet moments, the moments of reflection, and the overwhelming feelings that come with being deeply in love.
In conclusion, this artwork has been a journey for me, both as an artist and as someone who’s constantly thinking about love and relationships. Through Liliana’s eyes, I’ve been able to express emotions that are sometimes hard to put into words. Her love for Arlon is pure and true, and in this artwork, I think that shines through. I hope that when people look at this piece, they feel a sense of warmth, of love, of connection—just like Liliana feels every time she thinks about Arlon. And as always, I’m excited to see where their love story takes me next because, with each new artwork, I feel like I’m discovering something new about love itself.
