Heard a lot about Gujarat biggest “Gira Water fall “ at Waghai from many years and finally made our way to Visit . Water of Ambika River falls from 75 feet high cliff at high speed which create conditions similar to a dence fog How to reach? - 7 Km from Waghai check post ( on the way to Surat to Saputara) - 50 Km from Saputara - 160 Km from Surat - 309 Km from Vadodara Public Transportation:- The nearest rail road for Gira Waterfalls is Waghai which is located on the Billimora - Waghai route (narrow gauge). From Waghai one can hire a jeep or get access of bus services. For people visiting from Mumbai, Surat or Ahmedabad the other option is Billimora Station from where bus services are available for Gira Waterfalls. Gira waterfalls, Saputara, Surat, Gujarat, India If you are coming by a private car, than National Highway might be quicker, but the state highway will offers a stunningly scenic drive. On days with a clear sky, you can actually spot a rainbow right above the waterfall. During the monsoon season, there is a heavy flow of water in the falls and this perhaps is the best time to visit the waterfall.
