To be fair, I liked Gira this episode. Sure, maybe not all of it, but his interactions with Kaguragi and Racules, how he talked to them about Suzume and their childhood (respectively) was really cool

Now that I think of it, Gira's had by far the most normal childhood out of all of them and he can read people

Let's not forget that he was the one who kickstarted (through Morphonia) Rita being able to actually accept help and ask for it.

Yanma is alive now only because Gira knows Yanma enough to know that this "following after everyone else is safe" was bullshit and that Yanma wouldn't run

Everyone else is suspicious of Kaguragi because of his dubious actions, but Gira trusts him because he knows what Kaguragi's values are

Hell, now that he got some more of his memories back, he even started to crack through Racules' mask and it's a thick one

Gira should just drop being an Evil King and become team's therapist, because, let's be real here, they need it

So I just realised that the first chapter of King-Ohger did not end when Gira became a king but when Jerami became a king, fullfilling what he had said back in his debute episode
