Ever since the industrial revolution, global income inequality has decreased. Studies show that economic growth on a global scale has resulted in the decline of global income inequality.
Over the last 100 years, there has been vital reformation in global income distribution which shows that we are heading towards ending global income inequality in the near future.
Between 2008 and 2013, global inequality fell significantly for the first time since the industrial revolution.
Populous countries like India and China were the main reason behind this historic fall in global inequality as there was significant growth in average incomes in these countries.
Despite this progress, two-thirds of the world’s population is still facing global income inequality due to the differences in average incomes between countries.

White Genocide????
Its all over social media and the internet….
It’s a claim made by individuals of Caucasian descent who for some reason or other have to share a country with other races whom they previously oppressed and continue to systematically oppress.
For example, In South Africa the claim goes that black people are out to get white people as they are targets for crime by black perpetrators. Question, aren’t we all targets of crime?
Here’s a thought, how about changing your statistics to focus on the real issue which is inequality and not race. In these countries you would find that often there is a very high level of inequality which due to historic and systemic failures, favours those of Caucasian descent and disadvantages those of other racial heritages.
Here’s a thought, why not rather look at the number of violent crimes committed against the rich by the poor and vice versa, that’s a real metric for you. This thing of saying blacks commit more crime is ignorant, the statistics show that because they make up the vast majority of those living in abject poverty without a decent income. Newsflash: Poor white people also commit crime, poor Asian people commit crime, poor European people commit crime.
Crime is not a racial endemic, it is endemic to any group of individuals who for some reason or other are the object of poverty. Especially when there is limited government intervention in poverty reduction and employment creation and when hard work has historically associated with no reward.

The world trend is for the wealth gap to continue widening. Hong Kong is usually considered a bastion of free trade with equal opportunities for all. In fact 76% of Hong Kong's assets are concentrated in the hands of the richest 10%
