Short piece I wrote based on a prompt by SoullessDog on GB to make a character evil. I made a (more) fucked-up Peter Pan/Pied Piper sort of thing.

Kyoshiro surveyed his pack of gangly adolescents. He appeared poised and calm, but inside, something was eating away at him. A deep, deep concern for his wards.

They were growing. Unchecked, they would turn out like their miserable, worthless parents - parents who had abused them in terrible ways.

No.

They couldn't become adults.

Something must be done about that.

The Kishu mix licked his lips, prancing in place, nails tapping on rock. There was only one way to stave off adulthood, and….

He didn't think he could free them individually without the others resisting his help. No, it had to be as a group. The corners of his mouth twitched into a rictus, the wheels in his head turning. He would take them to Tokuyama dam, and have them follow him the length of Tokuyama lake.

He would make it. He had the endurance.

They did not. They would tire and slip beneath the surface, forever young. Kyoshiro knew he could join them, but no.

He had to spread his ideals, on the innocence of children, and how they must always stay children.

And then….

He would turn on the parents and punish them for being so terrible. Kyoshiro drooled, giddy at the thought of dispensing justice. Then, he heard it - a child crying out in fear. His grin widened, Perfect.

His plan could wait for a moment.

He had another lamb for the flock
