It's midnight rn and I'm bored so I made this beauty!

(Originally I put Aragorn as the passenger princess & Legolas behind him, but then I realised that Legolas would totally fight Aragorn for that seat and his argument would be that he is taller so he needs more leg space. And eventually Aragorn will get so annoyed by him that he agrees to switch places lmao)

(also Gandalf would hate to sit close to Pippin, but he is thankful that at least Gimil is there to shut him up. Also Pippin would totally kick Aragorn's seat after Aragorn starts ignoring him after the 5th "are we there yet")

the fellowship on road trips:

aragorn: still prints out mapquest. has a set eta and marked rest places. prides himself on how little he packed, texts arwin frequent updates.

boromir: the driver. will not and does not let anyone else take the wheel. probably for the best. absolutely merciless with bathroom breaks.

legolas: head out the window. loud singing. loudly points out cows and horses, will make you pull over so he can check out cool trees.

gimli: used to switch off with boromir, is no longer allowed to drive due to road rage. eats very smelly jerky and canned food that stinks up the car.

sam: packs lunches for everyone, very generous with his snacks, comes home with way too many souvenirs that take up a lot of room.

frodo: sits in the middle :( comes up with fun games to play on the road, has a riddle book (bilbos) to keep everyone entertained. also reads during the trip, weirdly does not get nauseous.

merry: has to stop for potty breaks frequently and gets carsick easily. tries to sleep for most of the trip, will use the person next to him as a pillow.

pippin: also has a lot of souvenirs (that he stole) does not think consequences exists on vacation. asks ‘are we there yet’ frequently at increasing volumes.

gandalf: has opinions about the route they’re taking. claims he knows where they’re going, total back seat driver. does not have his license. will not ask for directions.

Hey,

I was wondering if you could write something between Legolas x reader (established relationship)?

I thought about the reader being the daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn and therefore the princess (an Elf of course) of Lothlorien. As the heir of their kingdom, Elves can feel when their kingdom is being attacked. And she is with Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn on the road and she gets really weak because she can feel the attacks. Legolas, being the Elvenprince of Mirkwood understands whats going on and helps her through it.

     “Legolas,” you grabbed at his sleeve, tears blurring your vision as the heartbeat of your people pounded through your being. “They’re dying. They’re dying!” 

     “I feel it, my love.” Legolas cupped your face, his hand both firm and gentle. “Stay with me. Do not succumb, stay with me.” 

     “I can’t,” you sobbed, knees buckling under you. 

     Legolas fell with you, gathering you into his arms as your world collapsed into a hell of screaming darkness and you knew no more.
