Aside from the Phantom, is there anything that always makes you scream like an alarm ?
Would you like the list numerized or alphabetized?
I'm a very skittish man. Easy to startle. I think I have a condition of some sort, I don't know.

POTO RP BLOGS!
So there is this really fun little community of POTO RP blogs here on tumblr that I think the phandom should know about! Because they thrive on interactions. They're all a lot of fun and have a lot of fun roleplaying and interacting (I should know, I'm one of them!). I also think that it's nice to support these parts of the fandom. So I thought I'd make a little post dedicated to them!
Go ahead and harass send asks to all of them!!
Erik: @thisloathsomegargoyle
Another Erik: @not-the-phantom-of-the-opera
Another Erik: @erikaskblog

And another RP blog that does everyone, but as a muppet!: @ask-muppet-phantom
Also, I'm sure there's more, these are just the ones I know about (if you know of any more feel free to reblog tagging them!)

get yourself a man that does a weird little waddle like Jim Weitzer!André (additionally, love the little gesture and nod that Scott Mikita does as Firmin here)

In reference to this post…I saw you say phantom of the opera royal Albert hall 2011 and…just gotta get this off my chest- the look back that Christine does at the very end as she’s going up the stairs and the the NOD Eric does that tells her it’s okay MY HEAAAART!!!! It was improvised for that one performance but it ruins me ever. Time.
Great choice.
OMG YES!!
The way she HESITATES to leave him, even though he has done so much harm to her and those around her, at that moment, I pictured that Christine was not only pitying him; she actually realized that everything he did came from a place of love (even a very distorted one) and solitude. She nurtured feelings for him, for the good in him. OH, MY HEART!! And Raoul KNOWS she's not hesitating because she doesn't love him, but because she cares about Erik in such a loving way 😭😭that's just… complicated.
I love everything about this particular version, especially Ramin Karimloo's, Hadley Fraser's, and Sierra Bogess' acting choices, like, BITCHES YOU GAVE ME TRAUMA!!
There's a reason it's my most-logged film on Letterboxd xD
I love you for sharing this fun fact with me because I had forgotten about it, and now I'm tempted to re-watch it again!

Hi Monsieur André!! Can I try painting your face? 😁
[I'm holding a little basket full of fun paints, stickers, glitters and the like]
Bonjour!
Since you asked so nicely, I suppose you can! Sounds like a bit of fun!

TEAM EYEGLASSES OR TEAM MONOCLE?
Gotta say, Team Monocle has Laird Mackintosh... But Team Eyeglasses has more variation... It's a hard one!
Originally André wore eyeglasses, but at some point the monocle was introduced as an alternative - if he wears anything at all. The tendency has been to feature André with the eyewear in West End and Broadway, while it in international productions is more common to fit Firmin with the eyewear. In the design for the Managers office it's André who is shown with eyewear; it looks like a pinse-nez construction with chain. However, Firmin is shown with a monocle in the Hannibal scene's design.
Here's Gilles André's various styles in the replica productions. And please note that it's not by any means a complete list, just different examples from around the world.
