shadow yukiko was clearly involved with the design with how the bodice and off shoulder elements are pretty much just like her princess gown, and shadow kanji put it together HAHA

and here's a list of all the flowers in text. btw these are their meanings in japanese, not exactly western flower language if they end up being too different:

White lily - Dedicated to death and the dead, purity, nobility

White Poppy - Eternal sleep

Red Poppy - Gratitude

Springstar (花韮; Hananira) - Sad farewell, enduring love, resentment

Red Spider Lily <-lmfao - Sad memories and resignation

White forget-me-nots - Don't forget me

Thinking about this whole art thing I got into kinda messes me up a bit.

As if a hand is stirring the depths of my memory, kicking the detritus of my decomposed dreams up into a turbid cloud, and uncovering the ambitions I left to slumber into oblivion.

In the murky water, I see the silhouette of who I wanted to be when I was twelve years old, and eagerness bubbles up to the surface. Yet, I hesitate, shuddering at the prospect of failing to live up to it, again.

2 > Who was your first muse?

This is a tough one, purely because I've roleplayed for so long. I cannot tell you my first canon muse - I've long forgotten exactly who that would be. But my first muse I remember was an Honchkrow Gijinka (that I'd stolen the ref for off google) named Fedora. I used her as my primary oc when I was a kid goofing off in the Pokemon Showdown roleplay chat.

For Pokemon in particular? Probably Maxie. In general? Waka from Okami, who I am working on a blog for, and a couple of Persona characters, including Ryoji Mochizuki, Marie, and Labrys.

Other than a Were-Koraidon Eri that I've been playing with on discord and might bring to her sideblog, for my Pokemon muses, not really? I did make a Pokemon Verse for Waka's blog, though, and I haven't gotten anywhere with that yet.

Amaryl qu Indica - A fan character

Amaryl made her debut in autumn of 2014. Back then, my writing was barely original. I usually simply retold games or books I enjoyed, but with a different ending, favoring the villain. Other times, I wrote about specific characters I enjoyed, practically analyzing them in a very unefficient manner.

One such character was Amaterasu from the Capcom produced and Clover Studio directed game "Okami." I suppose, what I like about Amaterasu is not herself but rather the amazing game around her. Though, the doggo is pure gold, I will admit. Having been a weeb at that time, I discovered gijinka art of her sooner or later. Thus, hyperfixation happened.

Amaterasu entered my writing via plagiarism around part 11: "Nightfall." However, due to my obsession, she was retroactively introduced into the preceding parts. In parts 1 "The Unification Tale" and 5 "Legends from the Lens," she features especially prominently.

Her character really did not go anywhere, though. Her only significant feature in my stories then was that she could fight and had four daughters. This motif of four sisters is actually a mainstay of the following stories and will return to crucially play into Amaryl's personality.

There are a lot of terribly embarassing stories hidden here, but I will leave Amaryl's Amaterasu phase at that.

To be clear: Since then, I have wisened up and quit plagiarising characters. To my knowledge, there is no licensed character in any of my stories. However, I did use proxies later on. More on that later.

Though I do remember stuff from my childhood, the earliest memory in which I recall having a definite sense of self (introspection and all that) is at 16 years old.

So looking back at stuff like that does have a certain air of "that really was me, huh", which is admittedly a bit silly.
