NCIS is so funny because fornell will randomly show up and suddenly the vibe is just two old queers facing off. these two old men have fucked dirty nasty. the team are children of divorce but they don't know it because they're actually the stepchildren they just don't know that dad had a former marriage. gibbs and fornell are just there flirting all the time and always on the verge of passionately kissing with tongue and the kids are just. so confused

Say what you will about the copaganda in NCIS because I don't watch it for that...

Friendly Lies
A/N: This is my first post/story, I’ve written before on Wattpad but never committed to writing but I feel like this is something I can actually commit too. Let me know any NCIS requests and I’m hoping to open up my writing to other fandoms soon too. This is definitely a testament to my ability to yap. Apologies for any mistakes :)
Also, I know the timelines probably don’t match up in terms of Gibbs knowing Tobias etc and Tobias having another daughter, or maybe they do, I don’t know but I thought it was a fun idea so belief will just have to be suspended. ;)
NCIS y/n fanfic, slight y/n x tony dinozzo, tony dinozzo x reader
Word count: 1969
Summary: Fornell’s daughter, Gibbs' Goddaughter, is an FBI agent working a case with her father and Godfather and decides to help get her dad to leave McGee alone after he found him asleep on the sofa with his ex-wife (I loved that episode so much) at Tony’s expense.
Tumblr media
____________________________________________
You’d only known Tim, Tony and Ziva for a few weeks but already you knew you’d be great friends. After only knowing them for 5 minutes the day you ended up sharing a case with both your father and godfather, you were making plans to hang out with them. Your godfather, or your Uncle Gibbs as you preferred to call him, was of course more than happy to see you and be working with you, although the protective dad act from the NCIS and FBI agents had driven you slightly insane. Although you loved the rare times when you and your father shared an FBI case, that time had made you nearly want to quit, which had driven you straight to Gibbs’ team, who were more than welcoming and friendly to you.
Now, you sat on Ziva’s desk, chatting to her and McGee while your father and godfather interrogated a suspect and Tony watched.
‘And that’s why your dad hates me’, concluded McGee after explaining to you what he described as the ‘incident’ between your dad and his ex-wife Diane.  Both you and Ziva had been laughing the entire time he told the story.
‘I’m sure he doesn’t hate you, Tim’, you smiled at him ‘he’s only mentioned it a few times.’
‘A few?’ Tim asked in horror, causing Ziva to snort in laughter. This topic had taken up a good 20 minutes and it had clearly been playing on his mind for a long time before that.
‘Look if you want me to talk to him I can’ you offered, trying to ease Tim’s obvious panic, but your offer only seemed to send McGee into a further state of pure anxiety.
‘No, absolutely not, that would only add to it.’ He spoke moving his chair slightly as it was currently situated next to Ziva’s desk where you were congregated. As Tim moved you gaze shifted to DiNozzo’s desk and an idea popped into your head.
‘McGee, I’m sure y/n’s right, Fornell can’t be holding on to a grudge for that long.’
‘He brings it up every time we see him!’ Tim insisted.
‘Hang on’ you quickly said jumping up from Ziva’s desk and captivating both agent’s attention, ‘I think I know how to get my dad to forget about you and Diane.’
‘First of all there was no me and Diane’ Tim quickly insisted, causing the pair of female agents to roll their eyes as they failed to hold in their laughs ‘But what’s the idea because I will do anything to make him stop bringing it up?’. Both agents’ gazes were fixed on you as you moved from Ziva’s desk to sit on Tonys.
‘Oh you wouldn’t have to do anything McGee, it would be all me’, you smirked as the two agents watched eagerly, ‘this isn’t entirely selfless though, remember when Tony told Gibbs and my dad that I’d been sleeping with an NCIS agent to try and piss them off? And it took me weeks to convince them he was just trying to mess with me and them?’, the two NCIS agents nodded, smirks growing on their faces as they pieced together what you were planning to do, ‘well I think it’s time I get Tony back for that, don’t you?’.
Just as you said this your father and Gibbs reappeared into the room and as they did, you got up from Tony’s desk and made a beeline for them, meeting them just in front of Gibbs’ desk.
‘Dad, Uncle Gibbs I need to talk to you’ you said, grabbing their attention in the most serious and anxious voice you could muster, grabbing one of their hands in each of yours, ‘I know this is really important and I want to be honest with you both’ you took a deep breath to highlight your nervousness. At this point you had captured your father’s and Godfather’s attention, squeezing their hands as you raised your eyes to meet theirs you finally said, ‘I’m pregnant.’
Now Ziva and Tim were clearly shocked and impressed by your lies, hiding their laughter surprisingly well and instead adorning looks of shock and intrigue. Your father and godfather on the other hand, with hands still held by yours, were looking at you with such pure shock your father had turned slightly white. Before they could even utter a word, you quickly continued, ‘and its Tony’s’.
At this revelation, McGee and Ziva quickly turned so that Gibbs and Fornell couldn’t see the laughter that was daring to burst out. The silence was quickly broken by a synchronised ‘WHAT?’ from the two men who held your hands. Their gazes had turned harsher, but you knew that if you wanted this to have the best effect you had to really milk it.
‘I know we haven’t known each other long’ you stated looking them both in the eyes, but were quickly interrupted by your father half shouting, ‘How did this happen?’, quickly followed by Gibbs’ ‘I’m sorry what?!’
Before you could think of an answer though everyone’s attention was diverted in the sound of a voice, Tony’s voice, ‘hey boss. Fornell.  You look like you’ve seen a ghost, what did y/n do? Tell you she’s pregnant? I told you she was sleeping with an NCIS agent.’, as he Tony laughed at his own joke, Tony sauntered towards his desk, but only for a second before Fornell was on him, pinning him to the wall. Tony’s face quickly shifted to panic and confusion, his eyes scanning the room.
‘You got my daughter pregnant!’, Fornell shouted.
‘What? No’ DiNozzo squeaked out as Gibbs removed Fornell from him, freeing him from the wall. You quickly shifted your eyes to where Tim and Ziva were still at Ziva’s desk, attempting to contain their laughter. You knew you didn’t have long before the two of them blew the prank, but you also knew that the damage would be done soon enough and you would have got Tony back and your dad would definitely forget about finding McGee and Diane on the sofa asleep together.
Suddenly Tony rushed over to you seeking some sort of explanation or help but before he could squeak out another word, you grabbed his arm hugging it slightly and turning the pair of you to face Gibbs and Tobias.
‘Me and Tony are in love, dad, you can’t stop our love’ but as you got to the end of your sentence McGee and Ziva had burst into full belly laughter, causing you too to crack and lean on Tony as you couldn’t stop laughing. As the three of you continued to laugh, Gibbs only rolled his eyes at your antics, shaking his head slightly and letting out a slight chuckle. He knew that DiNozzo had told Tobias that you were sleeping with someone at the agency to piss him off and he also knew that your dad had practically become a helicopter parent for a week after he had done so.
As Gibbs moved back towards his desk, you patted tony on the chest before calming yourself enough to say, ‘you should have seen your face’. Quickly, McGee walked behind you both to return to his desk, slapping Tony on the back as he continued to laugh at Tony’s expense. He stopped by your side quickly whispering to you how he was now free from any comments about Diane. Your gaze then shifted to your father who still stood in front of you both, surprisingly quite but glaring at you both.
‘Gotta keep you young dad.’ You smiled at him, kissing his check and moving back to Ziva’s desk, the pair of you still giggling and smiling. Your dad however, kept his gaze on Tony, glowering at him, as Tony seemed to continue to shrink under his glare, still looking stunned and scared. Finally his gaze shifted as Gibbs called him telling him to go down to autopsy to see Abby with him.
At first he didn’t move, continuing to stare, before finally moving when he heard his name shouted by Gibbs. ‘I still don’t trust you DiNozzo.’ Tobias said, finally moving towards Gibbs’ desk, his gaze remaining on Tony until they were out of site.
At this point you, McGee and Ziva all began to laugh again with the same force you did when your dad had pinned Tony to the wall.
‘I did not think you would take it that far’ commented Ziva, ‘I admire your commitment’. You smiled at her amongst the laughter but couldn’t respond as tony too moved towards Ziva’s desk, where McGee had now joined you and began to stare at you all.
‘Not funny guys, I thought I was going to die!’, Tony’s statement only caused more laughter though, as his hand reached his neck, fiddling with his shirt collar even though your father had only grabbed his shoulders. Finally you spoke through the laughter, ‘I told you I was going to get you back Tony and McGee needed by dad to lay off him about the whole thing with my ex stepmother, so really I was just helping a friend’ you smiled a sickly sweet smile at him before the phone at his desk began to ring causing Tony to quickly scurry over to his desk, grabbing the phone before answering.
‘Yes boss?’ he questioned into the phone, as you high fived Tim and Ziva, ‘right away boss’, followed by him quickly grabbing his things after he put down the phone. ‘Gibbs says Abby’s matched the ballistics from the gun, wants me and Y/N to bring in the suspect.’ He stated as he continued to gather his stuff. As you listened, you quickly grabbed your bag that was sat next to Gibbs’ desk, but before you could leave Gibbs and your father returned, arguing as they walked.
‘I’ll go with DiNozzo Gibbs’ your dad argued, his gaze landing on Tony, at which point Tony swallowed.
‘No you’re not’, Gibbs deadpanned.
‘Then, I’ll go with them both’ he stated as he moved towards the pair now standing together with their bags, but not before Gibbs grabbed his shoulder directing him towards the director’s office and repeating ‘No you’re not’.
As you and Tony turned and began to walk towards the elevator, he quickly began to argue with you. ‘You know your dad is going to kill me, right?’ he questioned as you pressed the elevator button, your gaze shifting to him.
‘No he won’t’ you dismissed, ‘but he won’t trust you for a while, just like how he’s been hovering over me for weeks after you told him I was secretly sleeping with someone at your office, or like how he constantly brings up that time he found Diane and McGee together asleep. I guess it’s just time for you to get a taste of what we’ve been putting up with for years now.’ You smirked as the elevator reached your floor and you stepped inside, turning slightly as you watched Tony’s face change from looking like he was about to argue, to just giving up.
‘You know’, he turned to look at you, smirking, fully grasping your attention, ‘if you were to sleep with anyone in this office, I’d be the perfect guy. You’ve already told your dad and although he’ll keep glaring at me and probably wanting to kill me, he’d never suspect that we were actually sleeping together.’ He said, waggling his eyebrows at you as you chuckled, and he reciprocated your laughter.
As the elevator doors, reopened on the ground floor, you turned away from Tony, shaking your head slightly and rolling your eyes , before simply stating, ‘In your dreams DiNozzo’ before walking out of the elevator, not missing Tony’s whispered reply, ‘oh you bet’, before he followed you out to find your suspect.

I'm open to requests. List non exhaustive. Also, I'm a sucker for old men and I'm (not) sorry.
NCIS:
Alden Parker
Leroy Jethro Gibbs
Eventually, Tobias Fornell
Fire Country:
Vince Leone (sorry Sharon)
Manny Perez
Luke Leone
I'll consider requests for any Raúl Esparza's characters too.
I love(d) writing for Joel Miller from The Last of Us, but since the series came out, there's so much more writers for the show, and I feel insecure about my writing, so...
Same thing for Aaron Hotchner, from Criminal Minds.
As a reminder, @navalcriminalimagines is me. I just wanted a fresh start.

old college flame
pairing: tony dinozzo x ex-girlfriend!reader
summary: you and tony had dated in college. you were the only serious girlfriend he ever had. after going your separate ways, you got a job working at the FBI, which means you hadn’t seen tony since. until NCIS and the FBI have to collaborate on a case.
word count: 2.3k
Tumblr media
“Agent Fornell, is NCIS aware that we are assisting them on this case? You’ve told me how Agent Gibbs doesn’t like other agencies to step on his toes.” You asked your boss.
You both were currently in the elevator, riding up to the NCIS squad room. You had never worked with NCIS in all your years at the agency, and you wanted to know what to expect.
“Yes, Agent Gibbs invited us on to this case.” He informed you.
The elevator doors dinged, and you both stepped out. You followed after Fornell, since he knew his way around NCIS headquarters. “Agent Gibbs, pleasure to work with you again.” Your boss said, walking into a room with four desks.
Gibbs stood up and shook Fornell’s hand. “You must be Agent L/N. Tobias told be about you. You’ve been at the FBI for six years now?” He asked. You nodded, politely, and shook his hand. “Nice to meet you, sir.” You said, simply.
Gibbs gestured behind you. “That’s Special Agent McGee, and this is Ziva David.” He explained. They both came over and shook your hand.
“I read your paper about using satellite images during investigations. I thought it was really interesting.” You told McGee. He was flattered. “I’m actually working on that now trying to analyze images around our crime scene. I can show you, if you like. I could use a second opinion.” He offered.
You quickly nodded and agreed. “Here, let me borrow my colleague’s chair. He won’t mind, he has a thing for beautiful women.” McGee said, wheeling the chair from the empty desk over to his own desk.
You took a seat, and he showed you the screen. “I’ve been looking at this radius between the two crimes because we think the suspect lives in the area.” He explained, pointing at the circles on the map.
“We have an unsolved case from a few years ago that I think might be related.” You said, pulling the file out of your bag and showing it to him.
“It matches the other two crimes, and it took place right around here.” You said, gesturing towards the map.
McGee glanced over the file before typing in the third location. “That narrows our search area down by a lot.” He said, glancing over at Gibbs.
“Up on the screen, McGee,” Gibbs said, gesturing at the tv. From behind you, you heard the elevator doors ding.
“Probie, where’s my chair?” You heard a loud voice ask. The voice sounded familiar to you, but you weren’t sure why.
You turned around to see who was talking. “It’s being borrowed by Agent—” McGee started to say, as you turned around and made eye contact with Tony.
“Y/N,” Tony said, almost at a whisper. He was standing completely still, just staring. You were also frozen in your seat.
“You two know each other?” Gibbs asked, curious as to why you both were just staring at each other.
“College,” you both said at the same time.
You and Tony had dated for two years in college. He was your first real love, and you were his. You broke up because you were moving to different cities. You both preferred having a mutual breakup instead of your relationship deteriorating from doing long distance and ending with a messy breakup.
Gibbs and Fornell both snapped to get you both out of your trances.
“McGee, you and Agent L/N go work with Abby on this map. Tony and Ziva start looking into the cold case.” Gibbs delegated.
You stood up from your seat and walked over to Tony. “Hi,” you said, giving him a soft smile. You handed him the file, and he returned the smile. “It’s nice to see you,” he responded, left just as speechless as you were.
“Right this way,” McGee said, showing you to the elevator. You followed after him, looking back over your shoulder and making eye contact with Tony.
You and McGee stepped into the elevator. “So, you know Tony?” McGee asked you. You nodded your head. “Yeah, you could say that. Or at least I used to,” you told him.
“You two haven’t seen each other since college?” McGee asked, curiously. He had never seen Tony as shaken up as he was when he saw you.
“Yeah, I think so,” you said, as though you didn’t specifically remember the last time you saw Tony.
It was when you brought Tony to the airport. He was leaving for DC. You both knew it’d be the last time you saw each other. It was the only time you’d seen Tony cry. You had a Hallmark-movie emotional kiss.
And you hadn’t seen him since.
You and McGee stepped out of the elevator and walked down a hallway. You both walked into Abby’s lab. Then, you noticed Abby.
She was typing on her computer, facing away from you both. “Hi, Abby.” McGee said as you both entered the room.
“McGee, did you hear? Ziva called me. Something about Tony acting weird around some girl. I was thinking secret ex-girlfriend, but that doesn’t really feel like Tony—” Abby started rambling, before McGee interrupted.
“Abby,” McGee said, loudly. He gave you a look of sympathy. Abby turned around, and her eyes went wide.
“Abby, meet Agent L/N from the FBI,” McGee introduced you.
Abby had a terrified look in her eyes. “See, you might think I was talking about you, but I was actually talking about someone else.” She lied, trying to smooth things over.
“Hey, don’t worry about it. I get it,” you assured her. She looked relieved. The three of you discussed the map for a few minutes, and then McGee got a phone call.
“Boss wants me upstairs,” He said, leaving the lab.
“Hey, I’m sorry about earlier.” Abby apologized again. You gave her a polite smile. “You really don’t have to worry about it. Also, I thought you’d want to know that you were right.” You told her.
Her eyebrows furrowed, and you could tell from her expression that she was confused. “Wait, about what?” She asked you.
“Tony,” you said, simply.
She still looked confused for another minute, and then her eyes lit up. “You’re Tony’s ex-girlfriend? You two actually dated?” Abby asked, excitedly.
You could tell how shocked she was. She ran and grabbed two chairs for you both to sit on. You took a seat, giggling at her excitement.
“So, Tony actually had a girlfriend? Like a serious girlfriend?” She asked you. You nodded your head. “Two years serious,” you replied.
Abby was shocked. She’d never heard Tony talk about a girlfriend. There wasn’t even many girls that he took on second dates. He didn’t even try to seriously date anyone after you.
What you both had was special. Tony knew he’d never be able to replicate that, so he didn’t see a point in trying. That is what led to the long string of one night stands.
Abby’s expression shifted when she saw your disappointment. She was excited to learn Tony had a girlfriend, but reminiscing about your relationship just gave you regrets.
“When you said having a secret ex-girlfriend didn’t sound like Tony, what did you mean?” You asked Abby, curiously. She didn’t know what to say.
“Obviously, I didn’t know Tony in college, but now, I’ve haven’t seen him date anyone serious. It’s a lot of first dates that don’t go anywhere. What you both had must have been really special.” She said, giving you a soft smile.
You sighed, thinking back to your relationship. It was special. You both had the perfect fit, until you didn’t.
“I should probably get back upstairs. I wouldn’t say Fornell is the most patient boss.” You said, standing up from your seat. Abby giggled to herself. “Sounds like Gibbs,” she joked.
“What sounds like Gibbs?” You heard Gibbs as he walked into the room.
“I’m gonna head back upstairs.” You said, quickly walking out of the room. You waited for the elevator. When it dinged, you went to step inside.
You bumped straight into Tony, who was trying to get out of the elevator. You both froze. “Hi, again,” you said, softly.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” he said, scooting to the side to let you get in the elevator.
“I was just getting out.” He said, stepping into the hallway. You watched him as the doors started to close, when he quickly hopped inside the elevator.
He quickly flipped the off switch, turning the lights darker and bringing the elevator to a halt.
“Sorry, I just really needed to talk to you.” He said, turning to face you. You smiled at him, knowing exactly how he felt.
“So you’re working with the FBI now?” He asked, not knowing how to start this conversation. You nodded, giving him an awkward smile.
“Have you, y’know, been doing good?” You asked. Even after all these years, you still cared about him. “Yeah, I’m doing better. What about you? You ever get married?” He asked, remembering how you had talked about your perfect wedding.
You let out half of a laugh. “Nope, not married. Not even close,” you said, honestly. He nodded along, and you knew he felt the same way.
“Trouble finding the right guy?” He asked. He knew he sounded jealous, but you were his first love.
“Nope, I had the right guy. Just the wrong time,” you said, taking a step closer to him. He looked down at the floor. “I’m sorry if I ever hurt you. We tried to stop things from ending messily, but I don’t think it mattered. Having to say goodbye to the person you love the most is always messy.” He said, slowly grabbing one of your hands.
He was nervous, waiting for your permission. You gave him a smile and interlaced your fingers with his.
“You never did anything wrong, Tony. You were perfect. I know we both have regrets about everything, at least I do.” You told him, honestly.
He could hear your hurt in your voice. He wished there was a way to go back and undo all the pain you both had been through.
“Trust me, you are not the only one with regrets. I am always wondering what would have happened if I fought harder for us. Maybe we would have survived long distance, or maybe I should’ve just taken the jump and moved to be with you.” He rambled.
He had never told anyone any of this. He felt so relieved to get it off his chest. “I guess we’ll never know.” You said. You were realizing for the first time that you both were living in the same city now.
Tony went to say something, but stopped himself. “Actually, nevermind. That’s stupid,” he said, dropping your hand and backing up from you. He leaned against the elevator railing, worrying he’d just messed everything up.
He went to flip the on switch, but you grabbed his hand, stopping him. “It’s not stupid. What were you going to say?” You asked him.
He took a deep breath, knowing he could blow everything up with what he was about to say.
“I was just going to say that I never stopped loving you.” He confessed, looking into your eyes with a look that made you melt.
You cupped his face and kissed him. He quickly wrapped his arms around your waist, kissing you back. He spun you around, so your back was pressed up against the wall.
Your hands found their way back into his hair, like they had so many times before. It all still felt natural. He pulled you closer to him. He had missed you for years, and now he felt like he couldn’t breath without you.
He ran his tongue along your bottom lip, causing you to smirk. “God, I have missed you so much,” Tony whispered, pulling out of the kiss.
“Are we giving us a second chance?” You asked him. A giant smile spread on his face. “I have dreamed about having a second chance with you for years.” He said, giving you a quick peck on the cheek.
Suddenly, Tony’s phone started ringing.
“Yeah, Abby, what’s up?” He asked. You heard Abby cheering loudly on the other side. Tony flinched, pulling the phone away from his ear.
“You got the girl back! You both are so cute together.” You heard her say, causing Tony’s cheeks to turn pink.
“Wait a minute. Abby are you spying through the security camera?” He asked, turning to face the camera. You heard the phone beep as she hung up.
You giggled to yourself. “Sounds like Abby is a fan.” You joked. He nodded, knowing what you said was an understatement. “She didn’t know it was you but she always knew I was hung up on someone.” He said, pulling you into a hug.
“We should probably get back before Gibbs and Fornell get suspicious.” You mumbled, into his shirt. You both pulled out of the hug, and he flipped the on switch.
You walked back into the squad room. You both were anticipating that Abby would have told the rest of the team already, but no one seemed to react.
“Boss is on his way up, he wants to talk theories.” McGee informed you both. You both nodded.
Tony grabbed your hand, which caught McGee and Ziva’s attention. They gave each other a quick look from across the room. They were both wondering what was happening.
Tony pulled his chair out for you, letting you sit down. Then, he leaned against the side of his desk.
“So?” McGee asked, looking at Tony.
Tony chuckled at his colleagues’ intrigue and curiosity.
“You may be seeing much more of Agent L/N” Tony said, causing both McGee and Ziva to smile. “We’re happy for you both,” Ziva said, smiling.
McGee walked over to you. “You’ll be needing this. I’m going to need to hear all about how Tony was in college.” McGee said, handing you his card with his phone number.
“We should all get drinks tonight. I’m sure you have lots of stories about Tony.” Ziva suggested. Tony knew he was going to be in for a long night.

Random NCIS/X-Files headcanons that only 2 people besides myself would possibly care about:
Ducky Mallard definitely knows Dana Scully from her time at Quantico. He lectured in at least one of her classes, and thought she was a bright student. He vaguely follows her career once she becomes an agent, and has been consulted via phone call on occasion for some of her strange cases. Sometimes he relays stories about one of the X-Files cases to his NCIS colleagues, and everyone assumes he's exaggerating some details. They see each other about once a year when the medical examiners from all federal agencies get together for a conference.
Abby Sciuto knows Fox Mulder from online chat rooms (which she got into through her ex-boyfriend, Richard "Ringo" Langly, who she met at a rock concert). She takes a special interest in any of Mulder's work dealing with the occult. Sometimes Mulder joins Abby for bowling with her church bowling team (which is coincidentally from Scully's church. He likes to gossip with the nuns about his lovely partner and gets all embarrassed when they take an eager interest in his love life.)
In college, Timothy McGee was a subscriber of the Lone Gunmen and sent in several articles to be published in their magazine. His expertise in hacking puts him on their radar as an up and coming hacker prodigy, and they exchange the occasional correspondence. McGee plays online video games with them once a week.
Tobias Fornell refers to Mulder and Scully as "those weirdos that worked in the basement" and claims that none of Gibbs' cases would ever come close to the crazy stuff he heard come out of that office. He does say Gibbs would have liked Scully. Redhead.

Family Business
Author: @crowleysgirl67
Word Count: 3782
Parings/Characters: NCIS team, BAU, (Y/N) Gibbs, Hotch x Reader (eventual)
Warnings: NCIS/CM crossover, show warnings, angst,
A/N: Thanks for reading! Loosely based on NCIS S3 E 23/24 the hiatus,
“(Y/N)”
You turned at the sound of your name and smiled as you saw your dad approach with Fornell in tow. You abandoned your new team mates, who watched with curiosity, and met him in a hug. “What are you doing here?”
“We had other business to discuss and I mentioned you and your team were here.” Fornell chuckled. “You know he can’t resist seeing you.”
“Please you’re the same way with Emily.” your smile never faded.
“Plus he wants to scope them out ya know how dads are.” Fornell smirked as Gibbs rolled his eyes.
“Well come on then. I’ll introduce you.” you hooked your arm through your dads and led him over to the team.
“Special Agent Gibbs, this is my team Dr. Spencer Reid, Derek Morgan, David Rossi, Jennifer Jareau, and Emily Prentiss. Penelope Garcia is our tech analyst who isn’t in the group right here. Nor is our team leader Agent Hotchner.” He gives a slight nod as you introduce everyone, obviously sizing them up a bit.
“Guys this is Special Agent Gibbs, NCIS.”
“Gibbs?” Morgan questions, looking between the two of you.
“My father.” you smiled, glancing over at him catching the small smile that graced his face before it disappeared.
Hotch emerged from his office and appeared at the top of the steps, looking down watching. Rossi spotted him and waved him down, “Come meet Agent Gibbs”
Confusion crosses his face as he comes down the steps, “I’ve already met her, she's on the team.”
“Not me Hotch.” you smiled and rolled your eyes.
His attention shifted to Gibbs “Special Agent Aaron Hotchner.” he introduced himself.
“Special Agent Gibbs” he shook his hand in a firm grasp.
You shook your head slightly as they sized each other up. You understood he just wanted to make sure you were safe, but sometimes it was ridiculous. Their weird spell was broken when a cell rang, Gibbs unclipped it from his belt and answered “Gibbs.”
He took a few steps away to listen to his call. When he was finished you approached him to say goodbye knowing he had to go. After your goodbyes you headed back over to the team.
“What?” you asked, feeling a little weird as they stared at you.
“So that was your dad huh? Interesting guy.” Morgan says.
You shrug, “He’s my dad.” you did worry that they were profiling him but you didn’t dwell on it as Hotch beckoned everyone to the conference room. Time for another case.
***
“What the hell was that?!” Hotch shouted at you.
“What do you mean what was that? It’s my fucking job!” you seethed. Who the hell did he think he was? You did your job, you weren’t out of line.
“You could have been hurt, or worse.”
“So could anybody! Rossi, Derek, you! Any of us could!” you crossed your arms.
“You’re different.”
“How the fuck am I different?”
“You’re young, you haven’t been doing this as long.”
“Are you kidding me? I’ve been doing this since I was eighteen.”
“Under your father, sure.”
Your jaw dropped, “Your excuse is that I’m inexperienced because my dad taught me? My father is one of the best damn agents there is and I will not stand here and take this.” you stormed off.
***
You clenched your jaw but kept quiet. The plane ride was tense and you felt a little bad for the others that they couldn’t relax a little because Hotch was mad at you, again. It wasn’t as if you tried to get in trouble, it was just something about him treating you differently than the rest of them that pissed you off. Sure you were the youngest but that didn’t mean you weren’t capable. Hell you’d been doing this for years. This work was in your blood, who you were.
Protecting people was your job, even if it meant you were in harms way. Standing in front of that kid today was no different. The unsub had been waving a gun around and the kid would have been in the crossfire if you hadn’t stepped in.
By the time the plane landed you’d finished your reports and dropped them in front of Hotch as you deboarded faster than the rest of them. You were half way across the tarmac by the time they got off.
“Who the hell is that?” Morgan asks as you run up to a man in a red sports car.
“Does she have a boyfriend?” JJ asked.
“She’s never mentioned one. Can anybody see him clearly? Maybe it’s just her dad. We don’t know what kind of car he drives.” Emily suggests. “I think his name is Tony.” Spencer joins them on the ground.
“Slow down, pretty boy. How do you know that?” Morgan looks at him.
“I caught a glimpse of her cell phone screen when she was texting.” he shrugs as they watch you get in the car and the two of you take off.
***
When you walked in Monday morning you headed straight for Hotch’s office. Might as well get the yelling over with. You were feeling a little better after spending the weekend with your dad and friends. Ziva and you did a little sparring to help you work out some of your aggression. You flex your bruised and a little bit bloodied knuckles and roll your shoulder a bit where she’d gotten a good hit in. Open handed you tapped on Hotch’s door in lieu of knocking.
“Come in.” he said without looking up.
You walked in and shut the door, which made him look up. He regarded you as you crossed your arms waiting for him to start.
Instead of yelling he said, “You’re hurt.”
“Oh this is nothing. Just did some sparring over the weekend.” you shrug off his comment. You’d had worse which actually caused permanent bone pain.
He looked pointedly at your bruised knuckles, “Since when does sparring do that?”
“When you spar with a former Mossad officer. She is ruthless.” you chuckle softly.
“Was there something you needed?”
“Uh.. You’re not gonna yell at me? You were pretty pissed earlier.” you were confused. You had expected to be yelled at not this.
“No. Anything else?”
“Uh… I guess not.”
He nodded and went back to his work effectively dismissing you. You left his office confused, not that you minded not being yelled at. In fact it was nice not to be, but you were confused why he had a change of heart. It crossed your mind that one of the others might have said something to him. You were with them all weekend you didn’t see how they could have.
“Yo (Y/N). You ok?” Morgan asked, walking up beside you.
“Huh? Oh. Yeah I’m fine.” you answered distractedly.
“Yeah cuz you sound fine. What’s up?” he slung his arm over your shoulder.
“It’s nothing, don’t worry about it. But thank you for your concern, that's sweet.”
“Ok, I’ll drop it if you answer a question for me.” he grins.
“You want to know who picked me up?” you guessed.
“Exactly. So who is he?”
“Tonys a friend, he works with my dad.”
“Just a friend huh?” he raised a brow at you.
“Yes.” you roll your eyes and nudge him, “He’s like my big brother. You tryin’ suss out if I’m dating anyone? Because the answer is no.”
He didn’t get to say anything else as JJ came over.
“Conference room in five.” she said as she passed.
“Ya heard the lady.” you chuckled and ducked from under his arm and headed that direction.
After the case debrief, everyone scattered to gather their things to meet on the plane. You were the last one out as you slipped your phone from your pocket and sent a group text to Tony, Ziva, Mcgee and you included Abby. Although you were sure it wasn’t her she would get a kick out of this.
*Alright, which one of you did it? Fess up.* you sent the text and grabbed your bag after making it back to your desk. Their responses rolled in quickly.
*Ooh you’re in trouble* you chuckled to yourself at Abby.
Ziva: *I don’t know what you’re referring to.*
Tony : *Did what? Whatever it was I plead the fifth*
You: *Who got to my boss? He didn't yell at me today.*
Ziva: *Is that not a good thing? I am confused. You were just complaining about him yelling at you.*
Abby: *gasp* (Y/N) are you disappointed he didn’t yell at you?
Tony: *Do you like him???*
You: Shut up Tony.
Abby: *YOU DO!!!! That’s so cute!!!!
You: YOU’RE MISSIN’ THE POINT!
You: *Who did it???*
Tim: *I did. I texted him a video from your phone of you sparring with Ziva, with a caption about you being upset about being treated differently. I then deleted the evidence.
Tony: *Go probie! I didn’t know you had it in you.*
You: *Awww Tim. <3 Thank you, that was sweet.*
Tony *Hold up! That’s it? You’re not gonna call him out?*
You: *No, it was sweet.*
Tony: *Sweet?! You’d kick my ass if I talked to him. Hell you’d try to kick Ziva's ass too.*
Ziva: *She would not get far.*
Tim: *I thought she was doing pretty well the other night.*
Ziva: *I was going easy. Gibbs was not too happy with the small bruising she acquired from that.*
Abby: *That’s his baby. Of course he’s unhappy when she’s hurt.*
You: *Guys you realize I’m still here right?*
Tony: *Back to my point. What the hell (Y/N).*
You: *It’s sweet coming from Tim. He isn’t as gung ho to fuck somebody up over my feelings being hurt as the two of you are. I love that about you but sometimes you gotta just let me bitch.*
“What’s got you smiling like that?” Morgan slid up next to you.
“Geez fuck!” you jumped and slid your phone in your pocket. You’d been so absorbed in your text conversation you hadn’t heard him approach.
He laughed and you shoved him playfully.
“Didn’t your mama teach you not to sneak up on a lady?”
“I don’t see Garcia anywhere.” he shoots you a shit eating grin.
“Derek, you are a little brat.” you admonish, but grin back anyway.
***
When you arrived at Rossis, you were surprised to see that Hotch and Jack were the only ones there.
“Am I early? Didn’t you say six?” you asked Rossi as he invited you in.
“I did. You know how everybody is. Fashionably late.”
“I suppose that’s true.” you chuckled softly.
“You alright?” he took notice of your arm in a sling. It wasn’t there yesterday after you closed the latest case.
“Yeah. Just an old injury acting up. Keeping it immobilized helps.”
He nods, “Well make yourself at home. We’ll be in full swing before you know it.”
You smiled and made your way in taking a seat near Jack who was coloring.
“Hi Miss (Y/N).” Jack smiles at you.
“Hey Jack. Whatcha colorin’?”
“Tow Mater.” He shows you his coloring book.
“Wow. He looks really good buddy.” you smiled softly.
“Thanks! Do you wanna color too?”
“Sure. I’d be happy too.” you adjusted the sling a bit before sliding down next to him on the floor.
Hotch found himself smiling as he watched you color with Jack. You were very attentive to him, even after everyone else arrived.
“You’re really good with him. Thank you.” Hotch slides next to you on the couch.
“He’s a good kid. You’ve done well Hotch.”
“I can’t take all the credit, Hailey did most of the work.”
“You both did great. He seems well adjusted for losing a parent so young. It’s hard.” you watched Jack giggle at some magic trick Spencer was showing him.
“How old were you?” Hotch glanced your way.
“I was seven.” you rubbed your arm. The accident had robbed you of your mother and twin sister and left you hospitalized for months.
He squeezed your shoulder gently, “I’m sorry.”
You give him a small smile and pat his hand gently, “I’m sorry too. Losing your spouse is incredibly difficult. I’ve watched my dad all these years.”
***
You excused yourself when your phone rang and stepped into an empty office to take the call.
“(Y/N)” Tony's voice was grave over the phone, cluing you into trouble.
“What’s happened? Who's hurt?” you gripped the edge of the desk with your free hand.
“There was a bomb your dad…” he started
You didn’t hear anything else as you felt your knees give out and you sunk to the floor. “No! No. no no.” you chanted as you struggled to breathe, to focus.
The door flung open as Hotch and the others filed in. They had seen you go down, their concerned faces went unnoticed by you.
“Is he alive?” you gripped the phone so hard you thought it’d break.
“Yes...” Tony’s voice faded away as Hotch pried your phone from you to get details. He was alive, the relief swept through you. Whatever else you could deal with as long as he was alive.
Your brain was in overdrive as you scrambled to your feet, “I’m sorry, I have to go. I have to go.”
“(Y/N).” Hotch said, making you look at him. “You’re in no shape to drive. I’ll take you.”
“I.. ok.” you nodded. He was right, it was a bad idea for you to drive yourself.
The ride to the hospital was a blur as you stared out the window trying to compose yourself. Hotch didn’t say anything as he drove, just kept glancing over as he watched the tears slip down your face in silence.
“(Y/N)!” Abby cried out as she saw you approach.
“Abby” you hug her. “How is he?”
“He’s in a coma.” Abby gives you the grim news.
***
You hadn’t left the hospital since you got there, and by extension neither had Hotch. You spent most of your time in a chair by his bedside, holding his hand and staring blankly between bouts of tears. It had been three days and you were getting worried he wasn’t going to come out of it.
You wondered how your feelings had been compared to what he had gone through after coming home to find his wife and one daughter were murdered and his youngest in a medically induced coma to heal from the wreck. If his feelings were half as intense as yours, you didn’t understand why he hadn’t lost his mind. In comparison he hadn’t been in the coma that long, yet you were losing your mind.
Tony stopped by briefly to check on you and bring you a bag. He knew better than to try to get you to leave.
“She likes big comfy clothes when she's in distress. Also she bites her lower lip, so watch out for that. She hasn’t done it in a while but I suspect she might start. It’s almost as if it's an unconscious act. She’ll do it until she bleeds so stop her if you catch it.” he said casually as he stood next to Hotch as they watched from outside as you sat in a chair beside Gibbs bed. The large oversized hoodie Tony brought already on you, like a security blanket.
“Why are you telling me this?” Hotch glanced at him.
“While I may be the joker of the group, I’m not stupid. You care about her.” Tony doesn’t look at him.
“She’s a part of my team of course I do.”
Tony shakes his head, “We both know it's more than that. As her friend I’m speaking for all of us, hurt her we’ll hurt you. She’s been through enough already.”
Hotch can’t help the small smile. He was glad you had such caring friends.
Tony stepped away to tell you goodbye before returning to work, they still had a case to solve. Hotch watched as you hugged him and pondered his exchange with Tony.
Director Sheppard had arrived again and you let her have the room. You were currently on the bench outside of the hospital room, head in Aarons lap and asleep as he stroked your hair. He was quietly talking to Dave who had stopped by to check in. The team had started coming in shifts to help relieve him. He had gone home for a little bit to shower, check on Jack and catch a few hours of sleep.
A flurry of activity going into Gibbs room stopped the conversation. Hotch turned as much as he could without waking you to stare into the room to see what was going on. He couldn’t see much with the doctors in the way but he could see the Director's face in relief. Gibbs must have woken up.
Aaron was reluctant to wake you, as you hadn’t been asleep that long. He knew he needed to but he was determined to give you a few extra minutes or at least until the doctors were through. When they looked to be about done he gently began to rub your back, “(Y/N). Time to get up.”
It didn’t take him as long as he expected to rouse you and you sat up. You rubbed your hands over your face to wipe away the sleep and looked around. “What’s going on?”
“Miss Gibbs?” the doctor stepped out before Aaron could answer you.
“Special Agent Gibbs.” He corrected the doctor for you.
The doctor took it in stride “Your father is awake.”
You jumped up, “Can I see him? How is he?”
“You can see him but I have to warn you, he has amnesia. He doesn't remember anything from the last fifteen years.”
“Oh no,” You whispered as you wavered on your feet a bit. Hotch stood wrapping an arm around you to keep you steady.
The doctor gives you a sympathetic look, “Try not push him to remember. We want him to try to do that on his own.”
“Ok.” you nod and turn to look at the director and dad through the window.
“You don’t have to go in until you're ready, kid.” Rossi gave your shoulder a squeeze.
“Thanks Rossi, but it’s not gonna hurt any less, might as well get it over with.” you gave him a small, unconvincing smile. Hotch dropped his arm allowing you to move freely as you walked to the door.
You walk through the door and both turn to look at you.
“Shannon?” he had so much hope in his voice, it hurt.
The dam breaks and the water works start at him calling you your mother. “No daddy it’s me (Y/N).”
“You didn’t…” he trails off as he looks at you.
“No. I survived.” you knew what he was trying to say. You made your way over and sat in the chair beside his bed.
His calloused hand cupped your cheek as he wiped your tears away. Not that that did any good against the steady stream.
“You look so much like your mother.”
You let out a half laugh half sob, his pain was probably fresh. In his mind it was fifteen years ago. You had been too young to know the details of when and where he was told. He never talked about it, even after you’d gotten older. He had been deployed when it had occurred, that much you knew.
“They weren’t sure you were going to make it.”
You met his eyes, surprised he would even talk about it. You weren’t sure how much he remembered yet. Staying silent you let him continue.
“You died twice. At least that’s what they told me when I was able to come home and see you.”
“I don’t remember much, but I only thought it was once.” you remembered very little about the crash. It was always flashes of memories, you did however vividly remember dying.
“What do you mean?” he looked at you questioningly.
“I only remember dying once. It was cold and dark and I was scared, but then mom and Kelly were there. Mom..” you cleared the lump in your throat. “Mom said I had to go back. We couldn’t leave you all by yourself. She said I was the strong one, I’d made it this far. Kelly hugged me and said to tell you she loved you and that they were gonna be waiting for us.”
He was staring at you and something flashed in his eyes as he remembered more. “You never told me that.”
“What was an eight year old me gonna say? You’d just lost your wife and daughter. I lost my mother and twin sister. Really I was too traumatized to do much other than work on healing.” you sniffled.
He didn’t say anything and scooted over to make room on the tiny hospital bed, before patting beside him. You were careful as you climbed up next to him, you didn't want to hurt him more. He pulled you into his side and kissed your head.
***
You’d taken two weeks off work to help your dad out. During that time you and Hotch texted everyday even if it was just a check in text. You loved your dad but he was stubborn and you vented to Hotch about it.
You: Am I this bad?
Hotch: What happened now?
You: He’s not resting. I threatened to tie him to the couch unless he took it easy. I’m glad Jenny made him take a little vacay but dude chill!
Hotch: Yes, you have a tendency to be just as stubborn. Like father like daughter I suppose.
You: I deserve that. 🤪
Hotch: It’s not always a bad thing.
You: You wouldn’t say that if you had to deal with me 24-7.
“(Y/N) Door.” your dad yelled from the kitchen.
“I’ve got it!”
You: BRB dad needs me.
You jogged downstairs and answered the door, surprised to see Hotch standing on the other side of it.
“Hotch? What are you doing here?”
“Coming to see you. Got a minute?”
You glanced back in the house, “Yeah sure. Dad, I'm stepping outside!” you shouted and stepped onto the porch. “So what brings you over?”
Hotch shifted on his feet seeming almost nervous.
“Hey whatever it is you can tell me.” you said softly.
“I feel like a teenager asking out his crush.” he chuckled, “Which is in essence what I’m doing. Would you like to go on a date with me?”
You smiled, “I’d like that.”
“Great, maybe now you can keep her off my ass about stuff.” Gibbs huffed appearing in the doorway.
“Dad!”
“I’ll try” Aaron laughed.

gibbs x reader where reader and gibbs are having an extreme makeout session in gibbs' basement and fornell walks in on them
I’m so sorry it took so long. It may be a little too late but here you go!
Gibbs had been away on a case for a few days, he had just got home. You took that as a sign to surprise him. When you got to his house you knew exactly where to find him. Making your way to the basement, you stopped and admired his work for a minute. He looked up at the sound of the squeaking stairs. He smiled at you.
He placed his tools down and took you into his arms, “I missed you” he said before buying his face in your neck.
It wasn’t too long before his rough lips were gracefully taking over yours. He picks you up and places you on his work bench. Just as he was about to unbutton your shirt you hear a noise. The sound of someone clearing there throat fills the basement. You and Gibbs look up to see Fornell standing at the top.
“Can I help you?” Gibbs says with that certain sass he has.

Birthday Blues | Alden Parker x f!reader
Tumblr media
Summary: When Parker's birthday arrives he starts to feel self-conscious about the age gap between you
Warnings: fantasizing (not detailed), age gap
Word count: 1545
[A/N] I wanted to post this on my birthday last week but my brain took the weekend off 😂
'Oh great, another year older' Parker thought as he woke up on the morning of his birthday
It didn’t used to bother him as much as it does now. But it does. Why?
You
A 30-year-old woman who for some reason he can’t begin to explain, fell in love with him. But you did. You fell in love with your new team leader. Parker shook his head with a sigh as he got out of bed and went into the bathroom to get ready for work. The two of you have been dating for seven months. You actually met through Fornell, and you fell in love with him before he joined NCIS. When he first started, you two decided to end your relationship and just remain co-workers and friends. That didn’t last long.
You couldn’t concentrate every day, knowing what it felt like to be in his arms. Waking up next to him or to the smell of whatever pastries he popped out to get for you.
The two of you met at one of Fornell’s poker games. You weren’t a pro but you were still good enough to win some pocket money. Fornell was like an uncle to you, Gibbs too. Gibbs was also there and despite telling you that he’d never play poker with you again, sure enough he got sucked in every time. Director Vance was there too, which was always weird for you because you rarely see him outside the office or without that stern look on his face.
This time you lost repeatedly, and they were starting to get worried about you because you made some very rookie mistakes. These mistakes were caused by the incredibly attractive man sitting opposite you. All your attention was going to not staring at him and making it obvious.
What made him so attractive to you? Was it the way his hazel eyes focused on the cards in his hand. Or the way his eyebrows knitted together as he anticipated his next move or was it the way his long fingers curl around the small cards. You couldn't help but imagine what those long fingers could do to you. How they’d feel against your skin. You shuddered just thinking about it and hoped no one noticed. Despite your efforts, the dirty part of your mind betrays you. Your heart races as your fantasies run wild and you take in every little detail, each mesmerizing move he makes.
His voice didn’t help either, it was deep and melodious. It just made him more attractive, sexier.
What you didn’t know was that he was going through the same thing as you. It’s his first time at Fornell’s poker night and the last thing he expected was a beautiful girl. When he first arrived, he was immediately captivated by you. You were absolutely stunning, with long dark hair and piercing blue eyes. As the night went on, he realized that he couldn't concentrate on the game. He was too busy watching you, and it was starting to become a distraction. He was content to watch the plays of the others, drinking in the beauty of the woman across from him. During the game, he stole glances at you, admiring your every feature, from the graceful curves of your body to the enchanting dimples that lined your cheeks.
When the night ended, everyone started to head home, or in Gibbs’ case, crash in the spare room. You and Alden walked to your cars together in silence. Being so close to him made you nervous.
The only thing that could be heard was the light noise of cars in the distance. At least until Alden broke it.
“Did you go on easy on me?” Alden smiled, a twinkle in his eye, God that smile, “Because it was my first time?”
For a moment, you were confused but then it dawned on you. Fornell must have warned him about you. You felt your cheeks heat up as you’re reminded of the real reason you tanked tonight. It was less embarrassing, so you said ‘yes’
“Well, I appreciate it, I’m not that good at poker,”
You smiled and decided to jump at the opportunity in front of you. You smiled at him and shrugged, “I could teach you if you like. Take all of Toby’s money,”
He took you up on your offer and that’s how your relationship started, a couple of innocent games that turned into something more.
The age gap didn't seem to bother you and it had never concerned Parker either, but as the day of his birthday approached, he couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious about the age gap between the two of you. You could see the worry etched on his face and it broke your heart.
The man was a pastry aficionado. He loved to bring you and the team exotic pastries to try. So, you decided to make some of your own. You used to bake all the time but, due to your hectic work schedule, you hadn't had the chance to bake anything in a while. To do this, you chose to do the one thing you hadn’t done since you were a teenager. Play hooky. A few days before, you had been dropping subtle hints that you were not feeling well. You expected Parker to be suspicious, especially considering the timing and the fact that he was a trained investigator, but he didn’t seem to catch on. But he was really worried about you.
He had been worried about you ever since. He had spent countless hours by your side, making sure you were comfortable and had everything you needed. It made your heart swell because of how much he cared, but also made you feel a little guilty as you weren’t sick. As he prepared to leave for work that morning, he couldn't help but express his concern once more.
"You sure you are going to be okay?" he asked you, his voice filled with worry.
You smiled weakly at him, grateful for his concern. "I'm fine, Alden, just need some rest. I should be okay later," you reassured him.
He gave you a gentle nod and closed the door to your bedroom as he left for work. As soon as you heard his car drive away, you got up from the bed. You quickly got changed, ready to head to the store to pick up the ingredients you needed. You grabbed your purse and car keys, throwing on a sweater to keep warm from the chill in the air.
When you arrived home, with your arms full of grocery bags that filled with everything you needed, you put on some music and got to work. You quickly put it all away and started rolling out the dough and beating together the filling, the smell of cinnamon and vanilla filling the house.
With the help of some online videos and a few of your grandma’s recipes, you had the perfect pastry dough. You spent the next few hours baking each piece, trying different recipes and attempting to combine flavors. Hours later, you were overwhelmed with excitement. After all that work, it was finally time to taste your creation. You grabbed a tray of the perfect golden-brown pastries and went to the team’s headquarters.
You took a deep breath as you exited the elevator, knowing that you would be seen as soon as you did. McGee was the first person to see you.
“Hey, you okay?” he asked concerned. Obviously, they knew why you weren’t at work but not why you were there now. At McGee’s voice, everyone looked up and followed his eyeline.
Immediately, everyone stood up, looking at you and wondering what’s going on but they quickly noticed the tray in your hands.
Torres, being the curious one, was the first to make a move towards the tray. He reached out his hand, only to have it smacked away by you. You couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction.
"Happy Birthday, Alden," you said, your voice filled with love and affection. You could see the surprise and happiness in his eyes as he looked at the pastries on the tray.
“You aren’t really sick, are you?” he asked as you stopped in front of him.
“I’m sorry, baby, don’t be mad but I wanted to do something special for you,” you smiled nervously as you gestured to the pastries in your hands.
As the rest of the group gathered around, you began to explain how you had spent the entire day baking these treats for Alden. You had tried out a new recipe and had even decorated them with his favorite color frosting.
It had been a long day, and everyone was exhausted and starving. You gave everyone a pastry, carving out some extra slices for Parker. Everyone took a bite of their slices and a satisfied “ahhh” went up in the room. Everyone exclaimed how delicious your pastries were.
Parker walked over to you, kissing your temple, 'Thank you, beautiful,” he said, finally managing a smile.
You kissed him on the lips, lingering for just a moment and whispered, “No matter how many birthdays come and go, I'm never going to love anyone more than I do you.”

FINISHED SEASON 16 REACTIONS:
Damn they were both actually spying on Vance NOT because of racism? And also just "we were sus of you but turns out y'all are the only good people here" is very funny.
Fornell's daughter my girl? What the fuck baby (I know the spoiler about what happens to her in season 18 and I am NOT ready actually, I like the fornell family)
It is increasingly funny that in a "blink and you'll miss it" scene of Vance deleting the picture of him and the spy who spied on him, they flash his phone and I need to grab a photo sometime except paramount plus is tricky to do that on as it gets small. BUT ANYWAY the photos you see like the default government building, a recent picture of Kayla, and then a photo of his son taken like 6 seasons ago but it's at the top of his phone's gallery implying he took the image recently.
ZIVA CONFIRMED!!!!!!
Anyway I'm so glad that Mitch Pileggi was actually a good guy because Supernatural made him a bad guy but to me he'll always be Director Skinner X-Files
McGee acting surprised by "Gibbs killed the man that shot his wife" SIR YOU KNEW THIS. YOU WERE WITH ABBY WHEN SHE DISCOVERED THIS. YOU WERE THERE WHEN THE DAUGHTER OF THE BAD GUY KIDNAPPED GIBBS AND WHEN HER BROTHER TRIED TO KILL YOU ALL. They literally TOLD YOU this McGee.
It's about time they burnt rule 10 actually. That one is broken so often, and then Gibbs also gets grumpy when you don't break it anyway.
Bishop accusing two of her coworkers of murder. She DEF worked homeland holy shit.
The ComicCon plot was great but you can't just go "Invite Torres" then "Invite Gibbs?" as your sixth invite? You bring Kaylee! SHE IS A NERD GUYS.
TRANS ACTOR JJ HAWKINS? HOLY SHIT. He was only in the show for like 5 minutes but he absolutely stole the scene he was in. Torres WISHES he had that grace.
Torres you are so lucky Jimmy saved your ass you son of a bitch, Delilah bought those tickets with her money, and she can and will have killed you if there wasn't a replacement. I get the whole "we need bribery" but you can't just give away $4500 of comic con tickets purchased by someone else.
Gibbs def needs a nap.
I appreciate them telling Torres "bro it's never your fault if you get roofied bud, don't go beating yourself up" because Torres would never be the type to blame another victim in his situation, so he needs to not blame himself.
Torres approaching his drinking problem? Realism in my show?
HHH stop making platonic friends wanna FUCK. I LIKE platonic Bishop and Torres.
Ducky as historian is a great way to keep him in the show while leaving us with majority Palmer actually. Palmer earned his place and having him play second fiddle to Ducky was starting to feel forced since Palmer has been in charge for a long while now.
The episode where Palmer deals with his father in law and talks about how he has two dads in Gibbs and Ducky? I cried like a bitch. Also his brother in law immediately knowing it was Palmer that saved him and not Ed? Classic. Palmer holds him accountable.
Anyway, Ziva CONFIRMED. I fucking adore Ziva so much.
Okay FINALLY watching seasons 16-current on NCIS.
Still in season 16 but I'm dropping some of my reactions so far.
I love that Torres and Palmer got into a fight at a wine and paint workshop, not because the guys were implying they were gay...but because they guys implying they were gay were being homophobic about it. Half expected Nick to kiss Jimmy just to piss them off.
Vance, dear, you really should vet your romantic interests better.
On Vance, glad they finally acknowledged his son? Apparently he is staying with his aunt but how long has this been happening? I honestly figured they'd killed his son off a couple seasons back, since he had this whole thing with his daughter's friend being a delinquent, but his son wasn't mentioned nor did he show up. At least they've acknowledged the boy.
ZIVA CONFIRMED?
Back to Vance but why is it with the CIA dude and now Mitch Pileggi's character (down to the southern accent he used in Supernatural) whenever there's a whole plotline that will end in Vance being hurt in some way, it reeks of racist reasons? Old white dudes in this show just HATE Vance. Hate him for better reasons, thanks.
Why do people keep putting Gibbs in charge of NCIS. You'd think by now they'd have a different senior field agent or an assistant director to step in, and not the dude who goes on cases and refuses to sign paperwork.
At this point I think Gibbs fully understands tech but refuses to acknowledge he does. Man hung up on Ducky in facetime then went "what's a facetime :3"
I love Palmer so much, he's great.
Whatever Torres and Bishop have going on? I want it. I know later they make it some romance bullshit but right now in the platonic friends era? That's great. Honestly they make great platonic friends they're more ♦ than they are ♥.
I know the next episode is gonna have Delilah, but that's seriously her only appearance this season? What the fuck honestly. I love Delilah.
It still bugs me that between seasons 14 and 15 Quinn just disappeared with a throwaway acknowledgement of "went to care for her mom" that is blink and you miss it honestly. It bugs me so much.
NCIS give me a gay character that doesn't die challenge (I miss Dorney still). Or at least acknowledge how bisexual Torres is. Man has more ex boyfriends than he has sense, and he won't admit it at all.
Still acknowledging this is in fact copaganda, but at least they show that cops suck ass and are dicks more than other copaganda shows? Though honestly it is still wild how the military cop show is one of the more liberal ones in political views, despite killing their gays. I watch it mostly because it's a comfort thing at this point.

They seriously spent the whole episode talking about how Gibbs went fishing, when everyone knew he was with Fornell, and then he says "there's plenty of fish" to say he could go back. What was that? The way that scene was I just. It was weird.
