He just wanted to let you know I absolutely love your art especially with one piece bring me to tears I love one piece artist so much !!! 🫶🏼 also wanted to ask I’m new to procreate and want to know what kind of brushes you use and how many layers just so I get idea on how to start 🥹💕💕💕

procreate is superrr user-friendly, so u should b able to get the hang of it pretty quick. here r the brushes i use and where they came from (i dont use any of the default brushes so bear with me):

i use the red for like literally everything - sketching, lineart, coloring, bgs - its like my favorite brush.

the green i generally use for texture in environmental backgrounds.

this brush is from a very large vegetation brush pack, but I almost exclusively use this brush highlighted in purple. i use it to give my art a holographic effect by using it in a lighter color in an overlay layer on top of the color and lineart layers, and then applying the bloom effect (i overuse this effect but i rlllyyy like the way it looks lol). this is the pack:

as for layers, it’s rlly a personal preference - i know for me I usually start with one sketch layer, then use one lineart layer that will include only the figures, not the bg. from there i use one color layer for the figures, and then complete the bg in one layer, as i do not use lineart for bgs. after that i usually use another layer for foreground content, and then from there i just start adding layers depending on where i need them and where im missing things. effects are usually done in their own layers, so the amount i use for that depends on how many effects im using. but yeah - that’s just how i do it, and theres rlly not a right or wrong way of doing it :)
