Finished a lil lineless doodle of (some of) the BBC Ghost gang as Wizard of Oz characters >v< Was fun lil experimental doodle. I don't know if I captured them right, I did do my best haha, was mostly a fun doodle! I'm just hyped about season 4 starting tomorrow haha >v<

Will credit @tonksbeybey-she-no-porcupine as they were the original creator [which I found] of this AU ~ though this illustration follows how I'd assign which Oz role to which Ghost, but some ideas are similar ^^.

Ayoooooooo we got you covered! Hot, fresh vengeful ghost prompts, coming right up:

“You think you can murder ME??? ME?!??”

After dying alone hundreds of years ago, Character A is stuck, alone once more, haunting their home. After centuries, someone finally moves in, only to experience the wrath of what years of loneliness can do.

What do you get when you mix a really, really annoyed ghost with someone who really, really tries to be good at musical instruments? A super angry ghost that really. Really. Wants them to stop playing instruments.

When a person dies, they come back as a ghost with no memories. Stuck in an endless loop of missing knowledge, anger and frustration is sure to rise.

Character A was shocked when someone just moves into their house and starts making it their own. Even worse, they keep ignoring Character A and they keep talking about a ghost?

Growing up as best friends, Character A is absolutely heartbroken when Character B dies. They begin carrying their ashes in a vial around their neck, not knowing that they’re forcing Character A to remain with them forever. Wanting to just pass on, Character B has to raise absolute hell in order for Character A to notice and let them move on.

During a zombie apocalypse, Character A survives for a long time, until Character B murders them to get away from a horde of zombies. With vengeance fresh, Character A learns they can possess zombies, and begins to enact their revenge.

As it turns out, ghosts are only vengeful for a period time of time after they die. The more wrong done to them before their death, the longer this period can be. The ghost that Character A comes across definitely fits the classification of being a vengeful ghost based on their time of death, but they don't seem angry. They just seem...sad. It's almost like they died from a broken heart, and how are you supposed to avenge that?

When Character A hears the old phone ring in their new apartment, they attribute it to the strange ghost that seems to be haunting the building, but the voice on the other end was very real (even if it was the voice of a person from 50 years ago). Using this phone, Characters A and B are able to communicate across time -- they slowly fall in love as the haunted building becomes more and more active. Eventually, the truth is revealed -- the ghost is the spirit of Character B, and Character A has no idea what they did 50 years ago to piss Character B off. Clearly, their phone relationship didn't end well.

Not knowing that they're dead, two vengeful ghosts (Characters A and B) decide to go to anger management. Their therapist (Character C) is a bit worried about the fact that they can actually SEE THROUGH their clients, but the pay is good, so why not give this a shot?

When Character A falls in love with ghost Character B, the two expected to live together happily forever. Ghosts don't last forever, though, and Character B loses a little bit more of who they were with every year that passed, growing more angry and more vengeful over time. Character A feels terrible and never says this out loud, but they're afraid Character B is going to go too far one day and make them just like them.

This isn't a regular ghost story -- instead of spirits floating through the air, Character A is a data ghost floating through the Cloud. They decided to sign up for this when they died. It seemed like a great idea at the time, after all, who wouldn't want to live forever? What Character A failed to do was read the fine print: the circuits of the data ghost system simply cannot handle the force of human emotions. If a data ghost feels anything too powerfully, they'll simply burn out and cease to exist.

When friends (Characters A, B, C, and D) return to their home town to pay homage to the grave of their long lost friend (Character E) on the anniversary of their death, they're confronted -- not by a friendly ghost, but by one that's particularly vengeful that blames the group for their death. To save the soul of Character E and their own lives, Characters A, B, C, and D must solve the decade-long mystery of Character E's wrongful death and prove once and for all who's the blame for the tragedy (unless they wanted 4 new tragedies to also befall the town).

Ghosts AU where it’s just a really chaotic house share:

Lady Button is the recently-divorced matriarch who is burning with resentment at having to rent out her huge family home for the extra income.

The Captain is ex-military, still burning with resentment after being outed and forced to resign his post in the mid 90s. Won’t return to the armed forces out of shame, but also unable to find anything else to give meaning to his life, so sort of....stuck.

Pat is the recently-divorced guy who is still in the denial stage. Insists he and Carol are ‘on a break’, despite the fact it’s been three years, which is why he refuses to move out of his ‘temporary’ accommodation.

Julian is the disgraced MP, attempting to avoid both the press and his wife’s lawyers. Honestly, you don’t even need to change Julian’s story much.

Mary is the recent escapee of a cult (you can even keep the witch accusations and the burning) and ended up at the house share because her housing benefit won’t pay for anything better. She’s happy to be out in the real world but also mildly distrustful of it all.

Kitty is a woefully-unprepared-for-life teenager, who was convinced by her sister that it was best for her to move out of the family home after the death of their father while her sister ‘sorts out their father’s will’. No one is quite sure how to bring up to Kitty that it’s been over a year since she last heard from her family.

Thomas is the English Lit/Creative Writing student who makes their whole personality about the fact that one of their poems once got published in the university magazine. (He hasn’t disclosed to anyone that the single poem of his that’s ever been published was a smutty limerick.)

Robin is this guy who’s been living at the house forever. Lady Button has the vague idea that he was originally employed at a handyman but admits to not actually remembering when. Eventually it turns out that Robin just turned up one day to ask directions, Lady Button’s parents asked if he was there to fix the boiler, he said yes and then just....never left.

The Plague Pit ghosts are students who rent out the basement and are thus rarely seen during daylight hours.

I've recently binged both bbc and cbs ghosts and been a little obsessed with it but anyway it's given me an idea for a ds9 au with the same premise, namely ghosts: cardassia.

now imagine. it's months after the finale and julian has been working with the relief unit on cardassia for some time. sometimes he visits garak (for lunch? because they got together? who knows) in his garden shed but lives with the starfleet unit. one day he has a minor accident with the power grid or something that leaves him clinically dead for a lil bit but it's ok, the miracles of starfleet medicine etc. etc. he goes back to work the next day and doesn't notice anything, but then he goes to visit garak (who doesn't know about the accident) and finds him surrounded by a gaggle of oddly dressed cardassians. he asks about the visitors. there are no visitors, says garak. he doesn't know about them. because they're ghosts. and they're staring at him, wide-eyed, shocked that he can see them.

there are nine of them, and they are, in order of death:

a hebitian woman who was something like a farmer. she's kind and religious and wears very colourful clothes. she fell from a tall tree when picking fruits.

a hebitian man who died about 1000 years later, when the first invaders came after the climate catastrophe. a scientist. he was murdered by them.

a 20-something man, a child of the invaders, who died because of the awful conditions of the planet that were unkind to everyone. there's only a 30-year gap between his and the previous ghost's deaths. they don't like each other.

the housekeeper of the very first tain who built the very first house on that land. died of an accident in the kitchen. she's a very no-nonsense woman and will criticise your manners.

an artist who was staying in the house for some reason. nobody really knows how they died and they won't tell, probably because it's embarrassing. they're kind of a romantic and all about aesthetics and appreciation of art and beauty.

a gul who was a friend of one of the tains. died of a heart attack or some such. he's older. he's very into the military propaganda and all that but during the dominion war he was very anti-dominion and a fan of damar, thank you.

enabran tain's great-grandfather's brother. the gul knew him as a child. he was a lawyer who died of an illness. he also buys heavily into the system and the state propaganda. he has a sense of humour which is kind of annoying at times.

a young politician who was too pro-democracy and anti-bajoran-occupation for everybody's liking, so tain invited him over and killed him himself. he was a supporter of the oralian way. he gets along with the hebitians and the artist most of all, but also with mila, who likes him and is sorry for tain and for having to clean up his body.

mila garak, the newest ghost.

at first julian doesn't want to believe that they're really ghosts and thinks it has something to do with the accident, but then he remembers the incident with dr crusher and the candle ghost, which every cmo knows about because it impacted the fuck form policy, and other weird things he's seen or heard about, and concludes that it might not be impossible actually. plus they're all speaking kardasi and he reckons that if they were in his head, he'd hear english, if they were telepathic entities only he can see, he'd hear english, and if they were any other sort of entity, he'd head ut'd english, so clearly they must exist, be cardassian, and go unregistered by the ut. he grabs a tricorder and finds some faint energy readings that aren't normal when he scans them. so that's it, ghosts exist, apparently... and they can be very opinionated.

garak doesn't believe him at first but then julian starts telling him all sorts of stuff related to the time in the basement and even his childhood, supplied to him by the ghosts and most definitely previously unmentioned, and horrified that they'd just tell him all that, he concedes (mostly because he does know about hebitians and the oralian way teachings, and the idea of spirits and afterlife aren't as foreign and ridiculous to him as to most others). so now he knows he lives with nine ghosts, and one of them is his mother. he's mostly glad he can't see them, but it unnerves him all the same because they can see him.

julian is a bit unnerved as well, but he does get used to them (and other ghosts he now realises he sees everywhere else) fairly quickly and sees them as eccentric friends who can tell him interesting things about history and garak when he lived there, much to garak's dismay, and most of whom listen to him and need him to do things for them so they're less bored. some need time to get used to him because he's an alien, but they come around too eventually. he speaks the language, which is appreciated, and clearly cares about the cardassian people if he's there to help, and mila's elim loves him, and did they mention he's the only one who can see them and make things interesting? so he's alright. if they could get used to the idea of being ghosts and being ghosts together with two hebitians whose existence was erased from the history curriculum, well, they can get used to a human. for him, it's chaos at times, because they love to talk and argue and it makes it hard to focus when he's there and they're around, but he's patient and listens to them in turn, actually talks to them, and, being used to garak's nonsense, knows how to deal with them if need be. so that's fun. and, being a doctor and wanting to help people, he gets them to talk about things, sometimes, in an effort to help them move on. they don't, or not any fast at least, but he can try, eh?

so yeah. cardassian ghosts au!

I have a ghosts AU when Denmark is a Viking who doesn’t speak any English, but every time someone comments about how his helmet doesn’t have horns on it he gets mad and in some circumstances storms off.

And I love that bc it implies he’s just been actively refusing to pick up English from any of the other ghosts for centuries EXCEPT the words horns and helmet specifically.

Currently enjoying @spacerangersam's Of Fangs and Claws AU, while I wait for more episodes to air on bbc, and I wanted to doodle the wolves cause I'm a sucker for werewolves uwu ~ The creator of the fics didn't create wolf wolf designs, so idk if they do look like this when they're full wolves, or not xD so this is more my interpretations... but I could definitely be wrong haha

It's a fun read! I would recommend their fics based on Ghosts if you're a fan of the show!

That would honestly be soooo hilarious.

I have some kind of plan for something that can arguably be called possession, but it won't be an UA kid (...arguably)
