Future Chaos

Sonic: "After all these years... Who would've guessed you'd need my help?"

~In the future, when everyone's already gone, and Shadow's one of the last one's left... he finds it difficult to keep pushing forward, even when a new threat arises.

And yet, he's not alone.~

[An idea that was inspired by someone else's post. Something about Shadow giving up, and Sonic's voice/ghost tells Shadow he's more stubborn than that.

It literally gave me this idea for a Future AU. I already have a few ideas for it. :3 So, whoever posted that, THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION! (Sorry I don't remember who you are.. :^)]

How do his friends react after seeing him? Or the public? What does Eggman do when he finds out?

Does Sonic have his exact same personality, or is he like, easier to anger/panic? Also, how did he get resurrected like that in the first place?

I just found out about this AU and I love AUs where someone dies and comes back to life. This will probably take over my life for the next week or so.

Gnerally speaking, the reactions are confusion and (for most) relief. And while I don't got the specifics for most of his friends down just yet, I can tell you that upon learning of Sonic's ghostly status Knuckles is nervous around him for awhile. He vehemently denies it though!

As for Eggman's reaction and their first encounter with Sonic as a ghost, it kind of ties in to your first question on the second paragraph.

Naturally, it doesn't take long for Eggman to start attacking after he kills Sonic. But then Sonic finds out about it and his reaction to this information is a bit... explosive.

That's his murderer, and Sonic's ghostly instincts demand revenge!

Anyways, I won't go too much further into detail as I want to make a fic on their encounter, but I will say that when Eggman learns about the fact that Sonic is constantly in pain that he is happy about it and takes it as a win. It may be a small win considering the circumstances but he'll take whatever victory he can get at that point considering Sonic just came back from the fucking dead. Though you can bet that after this happens that Eggman starts to scheme.

So long story short, yes. Sonic can be easier to anger/panic when it comes to certain topics. Off the top of my head, three of these things are Eggman, fire, and an even greater fear of water.

As for how he came back? I'm not completely sure but it probably has something to so with Chaos Energy and his abundance of it.

Okay, but the scrapped plotline of Sonic becoming Chaos is actually really cool. I think I'm just gonna put that in the headcanons pile. It happens eventually, just way later. :) IT'S JUST SO COOL!!

Sonic A Christmas Carol- The Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future

Sooooo I was watching Barbie in a Christmas Carol for the first time and ... well

Look there were three ghost and I'm like omg SHADOW, SONIC, AND SILVER WOULD FIT THE ROLES of the 3 ghost Perfectly you know with them representing past, present, and future
