My pre bedtime music schedule has drastically changed this last season. Like over the summer I went from tending to try to calm down my music as I got ready for bed then this summer happened and I got into a lot heavier music on a regular basis. Now I'm just like, curled up in bed, letting the Melatonin take it's hold of me listening to a list of slowly progressively chiller "Metalcore Adjacent" music. Tonight the cool down playlist was: Antivist (BMTH), Dethrone (Bad Omens), The Offering (Sleep Token), Two way mirror (loathe), Bible (Ghost), and bonus Noah Khan song (Northern attitude) while editing this post

Then I put on my Eep Token sleeping playlist and time to make like Vessel and:

Damn General Hospital ,

You really did Billy Miller so dirty. How do you snag a multiple Emmy winner/nominee on the show and totally ignore him?

You didn’t know what to do with him for like a year when he first started. Finally, you committed to him being the new Jason. He was finally getting some storylines. Then SB comes back and instead of exploiting the gold mine of these two great actors working together, you totally forget any character development he made and any ties his character cultivated and isolate him.

He basically disappeared for months. Not just because you were focusing on other storylines either. He was not even written into storylines that had connections to his character. I will never understand. Then you hold back on a dynamite storyline that Billy Miller would kill and give it to Franco??? I’m so confused. So many missed opportunities. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Now he’s just going to be off the show and he didn’t even get any screen time with his kid. I am offended.

I hope Billy finds a place that will make good use of his talents. What a mess.

Man. Poor Drew.

When Jason came back to this person having taken over his whole life, that was devastating to him. But basically everyone in his life quickly dumped Drew and ran back into Jason’s arms.

At least Jason knew who he was and what was his.

Drew was left with all these people he thought were his friends just dismissing him without a second thought. Everything he had wasn’t his. Not even his old memories. To top it off, he had no idea who he actually was because he has no memories of being Drew.

I do think he clung to Sam for dear life. Especially in the beginning. And I do think Sam loves him. So she didn’t want to hurt him. But damn, now he’s had Sam tell him for MONTHS that he’s the one, to the point of not accepting his hold on getting married. And now she tells him it turns out he’s not actually the only one. Ouch.

I’m hoping that at least now Drew will go figure out who he is and what’s in his past. And I really hope Sam figures out who she is too. Because you can’t tell me the last couple of years without Jason and loving Drew didn’t change her. I’d be pissed if they decided to just ignore that character growth. Really that’s the only way Sam and Drew would work out anyway. If they both took a step back and figured themselves out and then explored whether or not those people were good together.

But I’m bracing for the Jasam reunion. I know this is where it’s been headed the whole time. I just wish it had been written better. I guess it’ll be back to the Jason show.

Bonus though, Drew and Curtis scenes?? Love those two together.
