My partner and I stayed at a place with similar walls recently, and the reason for this post is just to say... yeah, JK's choice was absolutely no accident.

There were/are a large number of deniers who claimed it was not a big deal and it wouldn't have been significant in the choice of room. Because, ya know, bros shower together.

I'm here to tell you.... IT'S SIGNIFICANT!!

Yeah, showering together is ... very nice... but this is like having a giant TV in your room with an X-Rated movie playing. It's kinda hard NOT to watch...

Even when the glass steams up there's nothing - NOTHING ... anyway, you get the picture.

We know JK organised everything but I wonder if it was a suprise to Jimin when they arrived, or whether they chose the hotel together...? Because i can pretty much guarantee the glass wall will be a requirement for any future bookings they make.

And if they DIDN'T take photos of each other through that glass wall, the moon is made of cheese.

Hey there, I’m interested to know as a 1 year old army what you see in jikook to believe they’re a couple? For me I k ew of them from 2017 but it was watching GFCT and the way Jimin looked at JK not the camera that I saw love. The UN Speech solidified their values for me. As an older queer who loves good quality music, it was a no brainer to take out a membership for a group that had an out queer couple and believed in gender expression. Side note: Yoongi saying “there’s more than two genders” makes my heart sing.

There were several clues for me that Jikook were attracted to each other.

The back hugs, back stage.

The absolute lack of honorifics.

The constant orbiting, intense looks, soft tones.

The long, awkward, charged moments of unresolved sexual tension in lives, across episodes, during shows...

The way they danced together for Coming of Age Ceremony, Black and White Prom Festa, Black Swan.

The way JK used unboxing albums as an excuse to caress Jimin's hands (right in front of my salad)!!

I suspected heavily that they acted on that attraction thanks to one room with a glass bathroom in Tokyo; the shenanigans of the Osaka VLive; and the way they both froze to find a camera in Jungkook's hotel suite. Plus, the best part of Jimin's day is waking up to see Jungkookie.

But what makes it clear to me they were a couple was the way Jimin, a consummate stage professional, immediately dropped everything and ran as fast as he could to Jungkook when he thought JK was throwing up.

The way everyone silently agreed it would be Jimin to stay behind in the room when JK got altitude sickness.

That their families have intertwined over the years.

The way Bam habitually slept in the crook of Jimin's arm as a puppy.

The way Jungkook won't even let Jimin open a plastic container without fretting he'll hurt himself with the scissors.

The way they ran to embrace the very moment JK was finished his quarantine.

It's the extra measure of attentive care they have for each other--as if the whole world melts away into a pink cloud when they are together.

It's the way others treat them as one unit, and have for years.

All the culture references and inside jokes they share that evidence countless hours together.

It's how they bring out the absolute best in each other, as artists and people.

The way they can still make each other giggle like boys chasing each other over ramen or playing hand games at award shows, even after all this time.

How they stick to each other like magnets whenever possible.

Jimin and Jungkook are their own unique persons, with their own unique personality traits. But whenever possible, they navigate the world very much aware of each other, and very much with the desire to see each other and be together.

So I have a theory they are, in fact, together-together. Even when I can't always see it.

with tkkrs, it’s their majority (damn near their entire group…)

we may make fun of tkkrs, but we shouldn't blame them for celebrating their ship moments. because if that was jkk, we'd be celebrating too.

yes, people are happy when people they like interact, that’s normal

i like when bts interact with eo bc i’m an army, i like when my bts bias line interact bc they’re my biases, and at times i’m happy when jkk interact bc i support them as a potential romantic couple

but jkk is not the pairing/duo i look forward to

and when they interact it’s not that big of a deal to me (unless they’re doing something crazy… gfct, hickey, shirtless live or photo)

i just happen to think they’re romantically involved/dating, but it’s not bc they’re my favorite duo (not that there is an issue if jkk are your favorite, as long as you like them as a duo bc of their bond and not just bc you think their dating!)

a problem a lot of tkkrs have is they either bias tk or tk is their favorite duo, so that is why they "feel" like they should ship them, even if they don't see anything romantic between tk

the amount of 'non jkk' biased (ex: ym biased or rap line biased jkkrs) jkkrs i've seen get questioned on why they don't ship their biases...

and no if the moments are based off mistranslations or stalker content, i don’t “celebrate” that, also bc i don't see it as "winning"

all shippers tend to give excuses to the other ship moments and try to reduce their ship value, but secretly we all wish it was our ship who did it, like tkkrs with jk's thirst birthday wish, they kept making it a friendly thing between bros, yet they were waiting and hoping for jk to do something similar for tae.

tkkrs are insecure losers, ofc they want other moments that others have (mostly jkk) bc they can see tk are not like that

i don’t care about other duos, and honestly if tkkrs left jm and jk alone, i wouldn’t have to even interact with them as much

bc most of the time, it's me protecting jm and jk AS PEOPLE, NOT BC OF SHIPPING BS

and pointing out non significant things isn't just something we do to tkkrs or vice versa, we do it to ourselves (jkkrs to jkkrs). bc we're aware of bts' culture, language, and jkk's history/bond

everyday, a different ship win and other lose, sometimes it's a good day for jkkrs, other days for vminers. and the members know that, that's why they keep feeding those moments.

the members having normal interactions is not the problem, it’s fans not being able to differentiate between a cute friendship and actual romantic relationships

using skinship or basic normal friendly interactions as a basis for romance, explains the whole they're all fcking/dating eo/poly jokes or only excepting queer members if it's bts as a whole group together or certain 'fan approved' ships (tk...)

but it's not something you should really be doing

and sometimes, even if another ship didn't get a moment, it's our ship that don't behave as we anticipated.

it’s why so many fans find it hard to self insert and feel like they're third wheeling, and feel uncomfortable/don’t want to see that

what i'm trying to say, is that we are all the same. we all get hurt by other ships or we wish for more moments for our ship, and it's normal because we have no certainty we're right.

you only get hurt if you are basing a potential romantic relationship off of others and their interactions, and not just the two people you think might be involved romantically

i did not care that th didn’t post for jk’s birthday, and the only reason i would care is bc jk is my bias and i like when his ANY of members interact with him and are nice to him (especially for his birthday)

my basis of jkk being real is bc of jm and jk, not any one else

maybe it's different for you because you have evidence, but for the rest of us, we're just sailing not knowing where the ship will land and it can get sad and frustrated sometimes.

if an idea of a relationship being real or not is enough to affect your emotions negatively, then you need to detach anon, before you project those feelings on to jm and/or jk

you need to learn to love jm and jk as individuals and their bond as it is, not just the idea of them being romantic

For tkkrs, the absence of proof is proof that Jk and Tae are together. There are no maybes for tkkrs. And then they wrap everything up with hate.

We really should learn to not expect particular behavior from the members or jikook. They are real people who sometimes decide to share stuff with us. When they do, we appreciate it and when they don't, we appreciate that as well and move on.

Headcanon version of OoT's King of Hyrule. Appearance may be subject to change in the future. Primary sources of inspiration from those of 11th-13th century Germany and the Holy Roman Emperors.

He will be seen in GfCT, but only briefly, and more as a disembodied spirit haunting the land in regret.

Taking the name of "Harkinian," the King of Hyrule is actually a man named Robin, having just taken a more traditional Hylian name to be called by. He dares not say it aloud but believes the name "Robin" to be a bit embarrassing. His wife would tease him about how he'd quickly grow as red as a robin's crest whenever he was flustered or embarrassed.

Having come into power by his bloodline and relation to the previous Zelda, Robin (Harkinian) participated in Hyrule's Civil War, having previously served in the Royal Guard before his ascension to the throne. When a Royal Daughter is not present, a King is usually chosen by the Council, usually one with a high degree of power and/or noble blood. Fortunately for Robin, he was both. As for the Queen, after the war with the Hylians as the victors, thanks to outside aid from Labrynna, The Queen of that land sent forth one of her daughters, Ambrianna, as a bride for Robin, both to thank him for his valiant efforts, and to cement an everlasting alliance between Hyrule and Labrynna. The land of Holodrum remained neutral in the War.

Eventually, the territories of the other races were occupied, and after the war, were officially made a part of the country of Hyrule.

Despite his people securing control over the gateway to the Triforce, Robin was deeply troubled by the hostility his people held to the other races of the land. Even as a young man, he felt such prejudices were not correct. Thus, instead of making the enemy territories pay for the damage done to his kingdom, he proposed several treaties to each race, all promising that there would be no further harm or aggression toward their people (Hyrule does have a "bloody history of greed and hatred after all). The leaders of these races signed, mainly because there was nothing else they could do, as the Hylians had beaten them back. Despite these promises, Robin could tell that this did little to ease the tensions between everyone.

It was just when the war was about to end when his child was born; the last battle would occur just a few days later, but he had received news that his wife had delivered. He was eager to hear of the baby, but he was expecting it to be a boy.

But his blood ran cold when he found out the child was a girl.

Hyrule, once again, had a Princess.

After the war was over, Queen Ambrianna passed a couple of years later, leaving Robin alone with Zelda.

He swore that he would do everything in his power to have his child live in a united land of peace, free of any war.

Although, this desire perhaps clouds his better judgement. Especially when the King of the exiled Gerudo wishes to make peace with his country.

I’ve seen before that “There For You” by Troy Sivan was written for his boyfriend’s 23rd birthday making it extra special that JK used it in GFCt for Jimin’s 23rd birthday. I’ve tried to verify this but all I can find is that Troy wrote it for his fans as like a dedication. I obviously think it’s possible for artists to write songs solely about their fans or for that claim to have extra meaning as well (Kinda like what I think about Magic Shop by BTS) but is there any grounds to this claim? Did he post about it somewhere and I just never saw it cuz I joined ARMY way after GFCt?

I too have only found the "wrote it for his fans" version.

I think though, that the lyrics are pretty clear, even if we don't know exactly who they were written for.

Will Forever be the Captain of this “Ship.” I wish every supporter of Jikook today could have been in the fandom 5 years ago. Could have had the pleasure of waking up on November 8th to this beautiful declaration of love! Jikook have given us so much since then But this for the moment takes the cake!

I joined the fandom in 2015 closer to 2016. I was barely in the fandom two weeks before being pretty convinced that Jikook were more than friends ( I can go into detail later about that).  I remember constantly being torn between certainty and uncertainty because while jikook were questionable pre 2017, they were still more subtle. However, 2017 was a crescendo, every month getting a tad bit louder…we all knew something was on the horizon and then September hit and JK had a breach in his security and his itinerary was leaked. This sent the fandom into overdrive. Half the fandom scrambling to rid the internet of this info, and the other half torn between letting their curiosity get the best of them and shutting down sesange gossip. However, regardless of where one stood, if you were active in the fandom at all during this time you heard the rumors, you saw the itinerary, you learned about the gossip–JK and JM were going to Tokyo in October for JM’s birthday and JK paid for it. I remember trying hard to not talk about it or think about it. It could very well be a lie and it wasn’t right how we came to learn about it! Bloggers overall did a good job of shutting down discussions on this topic so there was silence on it…until there wasn’t.

Jimin’s birthday comes and goes and no trip. This leaves many to forget the rumors all together. Then October 28th hits and the below pictures are shared.

The whole fandom is going crazy! Jungkook and Jimin are in fact heading to Tokyo. They were spotted at Busan International Airport and seen off by their families. No one wants to say it but we are all thinking it…the rumors were true…and that was a legit sesange.

Every day they are gone we are being shown picture after picture of their time in Tokyo. And I remember thinking…Did JK really pay for all this…did he truly do this for JM’s birthday?!?!

Then the trip was over…the fandom was still recovering from the news that JM and JK literally went on vacation together and it was an all expense paid trip…paid for by none other than JK.  Then JM drops another bomb.

The fandom is sent back into overdrive…we could just see the pink aura around them! And it made all of us crazy because we couldn’t believe this was all happening and we were getting to experience it in real time.

And just as we were thinking we are in heaven…JM post his clips of their trip together. We are sent again into party celebration mode. 

When I tell you 2017 was the year, it was the year!!! It was day after day of being hit with something new. But just when we thought we were done the crescendo of the year reached it’s peek…JK drops GCF in Tokyo. And there was a short quiet. 

There was a quiet stillness because while most of us believed Jikook were a couple, we had resolved ourselves to the fact that we could be wrong. GCF Tokyo changed all that. 

I remember watching it over and over and over again thinking…OH MY! This is real…I’ve always felt it was real but this…this makes me know it’s real. It was a quiet but loud realization that reverberated across the fandom. Jungkook is in LOVE LOVE with Jimin. For a moment I thought this was their coming out video…because who could watch this and question Jikook at all! Was this it! Was this their way of telling the world who they love? 

While many still found a way to discredit GCFT, I think it was in a way JK’s way of declaring his love to JM, declaring it to anyone that would listen. I believe most of Korea heard it and we heard it! November 8th was the day my certainty turned into assurance. It is one of the most beautiful films and every time I watch it I am in awe of JK’s boldness. My heart melts thinking of JM’s reaction to seeing it for the first time. How loved he must have felt! How surprised…he must have cried so much!

When they returned they kept surprising us. Every year since 2017 has been a little louder. I think GCFT showed them that they could get away with a lot. That they could be a glass closet…they could be loud and people still would feign ignorance or deny it. It gave them a degree of freedom to be themselves without fear of the repercussions. If people weren’t convinced by GCFT they will never be convinced!

i’m feeling some kind of way rainbow cake nation. seems like no matter what jk says or does it’s brushed off by most people. he drops the “i’m still me” art (same quote from the love simon merch), he drops GFCT, he sucks on jimins ear in front of 60k ppl, he drops this new verse from a song that seems very personal about him being different than his persona and fans only like the persona, he then says people should wear what they like regardless of gender.

Hi there! I’m a supporter and for so many reasons. I stay rational and neutral when it comes to them because honestly, we would never know. BUT there are things that you just cannot de u e.g. GFCt. That being said, the many ‘jeonlous’ clips and incidences I, personally, don’t look into that very much. Just because there are so many instances that we can look at and we’d still go ‘hmm ok..’ I hope that makes sense. Although, there was one [part one]

There was one fan meeting event clip where we see JM sitting between RM and JK and JM and RM were having some conversation and some skinship and for whatever reason, JK on the other side of JM wasn’t so happy. That was questionable. Maybe we didn’t see the whole picture and the kid got upset about something but... Focusing on just the three of them, it did appear JK got upset because of what was happening next to him. [part two]

Other occasions, I try to not overthink it because I can’t read JK’s mind, you know what I mean? But I’m fine with it because like I said, there were other things to focus on and would make you scratch your head and definitely get the vibe that there is something going on. [part three]

It’s funny that last anon thinks that gfct is the only reason people think Jimin and JK are together. I’ve only been following BTS since this spring, and I thought they were dating way before I ever watched/even heard about gfct. (I didn’t pay attention to anything ship related at first? Like the JK was really out there casually sucking Jimin’s ear in front of thousands of people. Not to mention everything during 5th muster and how they act towards one another in general.
