Study finds that 25% of vaccinated people suffer from post-immunization effects, ranging from mild to life-threatening
A British study using real-world data has shown that 25 percent of vaccinated people experience mild side effects after COVID-19 immunization. Researchers looked at data they obtained through an app that tracks the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.K. for their paper. They found that the mild side effects – the most common being headache – usually lasted two days before disappearing on their own.
King’s College London scientists led by epidemiology professor Tim Spector analyzed data from the ZOE COVID Symptom Study App. They looked at information provided by more than 620,000 users who reported side effects. The users received either the Pfizer/BioNTech or AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine within the period of Dec. 8 and March 10. Both vaccines are approved for use in the U.K., alongside the Moderna mRNA vaccine candidate.
The researchers’ study published April 27 in Lancet Infectious Diseases said that 25.4 percent of the vaccinated users reported mild systemic side effects. These side effects not located in the injection site included headache, fatigue, chills, diarrhea, joint and muscle pain and nausea. The users also reported local side effects – limited to the injection site – such as arm pain, redness, tenderness and swelling.
Based on their findings, 13.5 percent of people who got their first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine reported side effects. Twenty-two percent of people who got the second dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine said they experienced these mild conditions. However, 33 percent of people who got the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine experienced mild side effects.
The users reported headaches as the most common side effect post-vaccination. The side effect was experienced by 22.8 percent of AstraZeneca vaccine recipients. Some 7.8 percent of first-dose Pfizer vaccine recipients reported the condition, while 13.2 percent of second-dose Pfizer vaccine recipients said they suffered from these headaches.
The researchers noted in their study that headache, fatigue and fever were more prevalent in those immunized with the British pharmaceutical firm’s vaccine. It is worth noting that the data did not include figures for blood clots in the brain reportedly linked to the shot.
Vaccinated people are still at risk from more serious side effects, however
Clinical trials for the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines in 2020 showed more instances of mild side effects vis-à-vis the April 2021 study. Data from Pfizer’s phase three trial showed 77.4 percent of volunteers experiencing at least one systemic side effect after the first dose. AstraZeneca trials showed a slightly lower percentage, with 75.8 percent of volunteers experiencing these effects after the first dose.
Spector remarked that the study’s results served to placate fears of people regarding vaccines. “The data should reassure many people that in the real world, after-effects of the vaccine are usually mild and short-lived – especially in the over-50s who are most at risk of the infection,” he remarked.
Study co-author Dr. Cristina Menni added: “Our results support the after-effects safety of both vaccines with fewer side effects in the general population than reported in the Pfizer and AstraZeneca experimental trials. [This] should help allay safety concerns of people willing to get vaccinated.”
Both vaccines require two full doses to work, although with significant differences. The Pfizer vaccine made in partnership with German company BioNTech uses an mRNA vector. On the other hand, the AstraZeneca vaccine made in partnership with the University of Oxford uses an adenovirus vector. Regardless of the manufacturer and mechanism, both vaccines have been linked to serious adverse reactions that have led to fatalities.
Back in March, two health workers in Denmark suffered from blood clots and brain hemorrhage after getting the AstraZeneca vaccine. The two developed the conditions less than two weeks after they were immunized. Because of these cases, the Scandinavian country temporarily suspended use of the vaccine on March 11. Danish health authorities eventually banned the vaccine from the country’s COVID-19 immunization program. (Related: Danish regulator says woman who died after AstraZeneca jab had “unusual symptoms” including from blood clots.)
Meanwhile, a medical professional in the U.S. state of Florida died 16 days after his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Fifty-six-year-old Dr. Gregory Michael got vaccinated on Dec. 18, and sought medical treatment after seeing red spots on his extremities. Michael’s fellow doctors said he developed a condition called acute immune thrombocytopenia, which negatively impacted his blood’s clotting ability. He eventually died in early January 2021, with a subsequent autopsy concluding that he died of “natural causes.” (Related: mRNA vaccines for the Wuhan coronavirus caused blood disorder in at least 36 people.)

Medicinal herbs effectively treat thousands of covid-19 patients in Chinese hospitals
The cures for SARS-CoV-2 have already been designed by God, prepared through evolutionary processes and synthesized by nature. More than 85 percent of covid-19 patients in China are successfully treated using medicinal plants that have been studied extensively in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
During the 2003 SARS epidemic, The National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China studied hundreds of medicinal herbs and their principal constituents. These traditional medicines were also utilized in the covid-19 treatment guidelines for treating hospitalized patients.
On February 17, Chinese health officials reported that all 60,107 cases of covid-19 were successfully treated with TCM. The nation was exclusively using TCM to treat a vast majority of covid cases at that time. Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizes thousands of synthesized molecular compounds that are extracted from various herbs, roots, barks, seeds, berries, flowers and other plant components. Many of these phytochemicals convey an anti-inflammatory effect on human cells, allowing the innate immune system to accurately surveil pathogens and effectively respond to those pathogens.
More than 16,500 plant compounds were studied to develop an effective treatment protocol for covid-19
Chinese scientists put 16,500 plant compounds to the test, measuring their individual and synergistic inhibitory effects against three viral proteins, 3-chymotypsin protease, papain-like protease, and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. The plant compounds displayed vast antiviral and immune-modulating effects against these viral proteins and enzymes. Some herbs are capable of modulating the cytokine storm, observed in severe covid cases.
The medical researchers conducted a pharmacology analysis on thousands of compounds isolated from each medicinal plant, and they discovered synergistic effects for a combination of these phytochemicals. The plants with the most effective combination of anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, immune-modulating phytochemicals were identified and studied for their therapeutic role in blocking viral attachment and mitigating the replication of SARS-CoV-2.
The plant-based compounds were studied in four critical areas: 1. For impeding virus-cell receptor binding or suppression of virus self-assembly 2. For stimulation of the host’s immunity through production of virulence factors 3. For blocking virus entry into host cells through action on the host’s enzymes or cellular entry receptor 4. For prevention of SARS-CoV-2 RNA synthesis and replication, through action on vital proteins and enzymes
The study put great focus on the plants that help mitigate hyper-inflammatory responses during covid-19 infection. Covid-19 patients at greatest risk produce an uncontrolled number of cytokines, causing a “cytokine storm” of complications. The cytokine storm is the deadly, uncontrolled systemic inflammatory response. The medicinal plants with the most anti-inflammatory properties mitigate the cytokine storm and therefore save lives.
Top plants and phytochemicals for treatment of covid-19
The top three most effective plants for treating covid-19 included licorice root, (Glycyrrhiza glabra) chicory root, (Cichorium intybus) and hibiscus flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa). Licorice root has history of effectiveness against multiple viruses. In randomized, controlled trials, licorice root also demonstrated both a reduction of mortality for covid-19 patients and broad spectrum anti-viral activity against various causative agents.
The individual compounds with the greatest anti-inflammatory enrichment included quercetin, ursolic acid, kaempferol, isorhamnetin, luteolin, glycerrhizin, and apigenin.
Other powerful antiviral plants include olive leaf (Olea europaea), white horehound (Marrubium vulgare), black cumin seed (Nigella sativa), garden cress (Lepidium sativum), Judean wormwood (Artemisia Judaica), guava (Psidium guajava), chrysanthemum ( Glebionis coronaria), and Maryam’s flower (Anastatica). These plants contain all the correct compounds that target all three antiviral targets.
Plants that had action against two of the viral enzymes included: hairy willow herb (Epilobium hirsutum), chickpea (Cicer arietinum), and Kantarioun (Centaurea incana). Plants that had action against two of the viral proteins included: roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa), German chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), celery (Apium graveolens), and alfalfa (Medicago sativa).

Healthcare workers are suffering “full body convulsions” from covid vaccines
Frontline medical personnel who were injured by Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) injections are finally coming forward to tell all about the horrors they have had to endure.
Many say that their debilitating health problems came about right after they were jabbed, including “full body convulsions” and other horrific adverse effects that are far worse than anything the virus itself ever could have done.
In an interview with The Highwire‘s Del Bigtree, three women, all of whom were previously pro-vaccine, explained how they now suffer from tremors, memory loss and convulsions due to the shots. All of them are now unable to work or care for themselves.
“I just had mild, flu-like symptoms” soon after taking the first dose of Moderna’s Chinese Virus “vaccine,” explained Shawn Skelton, an Indiana nursing home worker.
Skelton may not have agreed to get the shot at all had she not felt “very pressured” by her employer to get it.
“By the end of the day my legs hurt so bad, my body hurt so bad I couldn’t stand it. The next day I woke up, my tongue was spazzing, and it just went on from there,” Skelton explained about what ensued post-injection.
For the next 13 days after that, Skelton experienced full-body convulsions – watch below:
Angelia Gipson Desselle, a surgery center manager from Louisiana, reported similar adverse effects. She got her Wuhan Flu shot in part to avoid exposing her patients to the virus, though she did not realize at the time that no available injection prevents the spread.
“Within two hours, I started having a severe headache that I knew that was one of the side effects, so I didn’t think that much of it,” Desselle recalled about what the shot did to her.
“Thursday morning, I woke up and I felt really dizzy and almost passed out. The following night, I got out of the bed and I couldn’t feel or use my left leg. And then Saturday morning I got up and I could not use either of my legs, and it eventually was followed by full-body convulsions.”
About two hours after the convulsions started, Desselle’s husband took her to the emergency room where she was transported to a nearby hospital.
“I have literally been shuffled from doctor to doctor … and here I am today still having the same issues.”
While Desselle did not immediately know what was going on the moment the convulsions started, she explained that she knew whatever it was came about because of the injection.
“I was a normal forty-five-year-old healthy person, didn’t take any routine meds on a daily basis. I never in a million years thought I would be like this today.”
How many more people need to become seriously injured before Chinese Virus vaccination is stopped?
Kristi Simmonds, the third woman, worked as a clinical manager at a home health agency. When she got her jab, she developed similar convulsions throughout her body that lasted for many days.
“There was one day where I had 16 back-to-back convulsions,” she revealed, in which “every muscle in my body would tense up and just continuously spasm.”
Ironically, Simmonds had trouble breathing and felt as though she could not fully catch her breath due to the jab.
“Two days later, I was in the E.R. with throat and mouth swelling,” she added.
Simmonds returned to work the following week but began to suffer convulsions that left her “pulled up into a fetal position” at work.
“Now, all three of us sit here today with no job, no income. Our medical bills are stacking up and we still have no answers and no help.”

UK scientists warn that household aerosols are worse pollutants than vehicles
A new British study has found that household aerosols release more harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) than all vehicles in the U.K. VOCs are a large group of chemicals which are released into the atmosphere by cooking, burning fuel and using cleaning and beauty products. Thus, experts have called for a shift away from these aerosols to more environmentally-friendly alternatives.
The April 22 study published in Elementa provided global estimates of VOCs from aerosols based on a wide range of different sources. It also named products that could potentially emit the highest amount of VOCs. The researchers remarked that carpet cleaners, windshield de-icers and oven cleaners were most likely to fall under this category.
Study author and chemistry professor Alistair Lewis of the University of York told the Daily Mail: “In some countries like the U.K., we have reports from manufacturer associations that give sales figures, and then emissions data that go to government and international environmental reporting. We then combine that with laboratory data to turn sales into tons of emissions.”
Household aerosols usually take the form of deodorants and body sprays. Aside from personal care products – they also come as hairsprays, air fresheners, wood polish, insecticides and oven cleaners. However, exposure to certain VOCs has been linked to long-term chronic health effects such as liver and kidney damage, lung conditions and nerve problems. These compounds also combine with nitrogen oxides in the presence of sunlight, creating smog. Aside from harming human health, the resulting smog also damages crops and plants.
According to the paper, aerosols constituted 6.1 percent of VOC emissions from humans in 2017. This reflected a two percent increase from 1990 figures. The study noted that this amount comprised twice the VOC emissions from passenger vehicles in the U.K. running on gasoline.
The world’s population now uses huge numbers of disposable aerosols, amounting to more than 25 billion cans every year. People in high-income countries use an average of 10 cans per person on a yearly basis. Personal care products such as deodorants, body sprays and antiperspirant sprays make up a large portion of this use.
But with people from lower- and middle-income economies purchasing these aerosols, a surge in the amount of emitted aerosols is projected. This is estimated to cause the release of more than 1.3 million tons of VOCs every year. To make matters worse, the study projected that this could rise to 2.2 million tons by 2050.
The researchers exhorted the use of non-aerosolized versions for some household products
VOCs currently being used in aerosolized household products cause less damage than the chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) they replaced. CFCs damage the Earth’s ozone layer which shields the planet from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. The Montreal Protocol to phase out CFCs was agreed upon in 1987 to respond to this issue. (Related: Earth’s ozone hole rapidly shrinking following ban of ozone depleting chemicals.)
But no one in the 1980s foresaw the rise in aerosol product consumption worldwide. At present, VOCs constitute about 93 percent of current aerosol emissions by mass. Compressed air and fluorocarbons contribute smaller amounts – at 6.6 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively.
According to the study, a number of products have non-aerosol alternatives that can be used in either liquid or solid form. These include roll-on deodorant, hair gel, solid furniture polish, tanning spray and air fresheners. “Virtually all aerosol-based consumer products can be delivered in non-aerosol form,” Lewis remarked. (Related: Study reveals people using toxic personal care products are the “greatest pollutants” of office air.)
The study by Lewis and his colleague, professor Amber Yeoman, noted that the persistent use of aerosol products despite the existence of non-aerosol counterparts shows “the continuation of past consumer preferences and habits. Thus, their paper suggested a “communications-led” approach that either encouraged people to moderate consumption of aerosols – if not switch to non-aerosol products entirely.
They also noted that the role of aerosol VOCs in air pollution needs to be much more clearly articulated. “The association of VOC emissions with gasoline and vehicles is heavily entrenched, and even among air quality professionals – there is limited knowledge of the scale of aerosol impact,” they noted.
Given this problem, Lewis suggested: “Labeling of consumer products as high VOC-emitting – and clearly linking this to poor indoor and outdoor air quality – may drive change away from aerosols to their alternatives.” He noted that such a tactic has been successful for products such as paints and varnishes.
The chemistry professor ultimately commented: “Making just small changes in what we buy could have a major impact on both outdoor and indoor air quality, and have relatively little impact on out lives.”
