Throwback Thursday back to 2015... I first started really taking swimming seriously and started going to swim practices and open water swims! I couldn't swim Butterfly at all, my Backstroke was all over the place (apologies to those I accidentally ran over LOL), and I had no clue about intervals, drills or what the heck a swim snorkel even was! It's crazy what a few years of constantly striving to improve can achieve and I believe I'm just warming the pool up! Who says you can't get faster as you get older? Definitely not me! I now compete in 3 of the 4 strokes, and I swim multiple events a year ranging from swim meets, open water races to even triathlons! And to think four years ago, I was just trying to not drown in Freestyle! If I can do it, you can too!
