#1. Facebook launches BARS, a rap app

BARS is a TikTok-inspired app for creating and sharing raps, can be seen as yet another attempt by FB to take on TikTok. 

🔥 According to NPE blog, the app is

“a place for aspiring rappers to create and share their art.”

not only for professional rappers, “No former rap experience required”

for easily creating and sharing high quality raps and freestyles over dope beats.

🔥 BARS includes

professional premade beats

visual and audio filters (e.g. AutoTune) 

rhyme dictionary and auto-rhyme suggestions 

studio mode allowing users select beats, write lyrics and record

challenge mode : game-like freestyle challenge with auto-suggested word cues 

The “Fire” feature : users can react by tapping 🔥emoji button in place of hearts 

🔥Closed beta on US iOS App Store
