Hey Pim. Hope you're doing well. So first of all I love your work, and thanks so much for sharing it. Secondly, I'm a fan of the Drawfee channel and they've all commented on how hard it is to draw a cowboy hat. It's like you know what a cowboy hat looks like but when someone asks you to draw one, it's impossible to do out of your own head. And even when you use reference, it still doesn't look quite right.

Do you find this, now that you've added a cowboy hat to your look (it looks very dashing, by the way) or have you got it down pat now? Thanks and look forward to seeing more of your work, always makes my day.

I'm having an actual stroke, I watch drawfee sometimes too and I could swear I've heard them say that in some ep I've watched

I actually used to look up reference for it every time I had to draw it lol but recently I've kind of decided on a shorthand. If you actually look at it it's not strictly a cowboy hat 😅 Same as if you draw a guitar in an animation you give it less strings to simplify it even though guitars have 6 strings. Except this is b/c I'm too lazy to look up a cowboy hat anymore 😂😂

I had a truly wild dream this morning just before waking up and I need to write it down before I lose it. I was all in a panic because my immigration status was about to be changed and I was going to have to leave the country if I couldn’t find a way to stay. A friend of mine told me it was okay, she found a loophole: I just had to get married. And she’d found someone willing to marry me! And that someone was Nathan Yaffe.

And I was like... Nathan Yaffe from Drawfee?

Friend: Yes, he’s agreed to marry you, just to help you out.

Me: But. Okay, but. I don’t know him? He doesn’t know me? We are strangers? And also he’s not Czech?

Friend: No, it’s okay, with the loophole I found, you don’t have to marry a Czech citizen, you just have to be married. Easy.

Me: Okay but like. Again. I don’t know him? He seems nice and all but like... Why would he marry me? I swear I’ve heard him mention a girlfriend?

Friend: No, no, no, it’s cool. This is great, listen. You will just marry each other as fish.

Me: ...

Friend: You’ll just become fish to get married, and then you can go back to your human lives, which won’t be affected.

Me: ...Can fish even get married?

Friend: Yeah, they just use the same rules as horses.

Me: ...

Me: Okay none of that makes any sense but whatever. If this will work, I’m game. I’m willing to do it. Let’s do it.

Friend: Super. Nathan is over there waiting for you. Here, take these notes. It’s a bunch of “memories” you two have to remember in case the judge asks you about your relationship. A sort of fictional relationship history. You should go get to work on that right now, we don’t have much time. He’s over there, he already turned into a fish.

Me: Uhhhhh okay cool.

So I go over to where Nathan is, and he’s already a fish. Like, a beautiful angelfish, in a big jar. I think to myself, is this just a straight-up fish? Have I been pranked? But no, the fish can speak. It speaks with the voice of Nathan Yaffe.

Nathanfish: Oh, hey. You must be [name]. I guess we’re gonna get married!

Me: Yeah, heh, seems that way. Hey, how did you become a fish though?

Nathanfish: We should probably start memorizing these notes.

Me: Right but like. Is there a magic potion I can drink or....?

Nathanfish: Oh. Oh, no, no. You just like. Turn into a fish.

Me: I... can’t do that? I don’t have that ability?

Nathanfish: Ha, no, it’s easy. You just like. Let your mind go blank, and then you just focus on being a fish.

Me: I’m unfamiliar with this process, but if it involves letting my mind go blank, we are fully out of luck here. My mind does not do that. I lie in bed for 4 hours trying to fall asleep every night and then I dream straight through the night till I wake up. My brain doesn’t stop for anything.

The Nathanfish is getting annoyed now. He seems to think I’m being intentionally difficult. I continue to insist that I am not capable of simply letting my mind go blank and turning into a fish. Then my friend approaches us, asks why I’m not a fish yet. I explain that I cannot become a fish, and she gets really upset. She went to so much trouble to set this whole thing up, you see, and here I was refusing to do my part.

And then I woke up.

Stupid Idea #3 Spooky Edition

A/N: okay so this one is bigger and its because I woke up at 4 in the morning and saw my partner had asked a question about if Wesley would be mad about finding out the others kept the vampire pumpkin. I found out vampire pumpkins exist from watching drawfee and they sounded very cute so I tried to do more research on them. I know they come from Romani folklore and there are different ideas on how pumpkins become vampires. When I tried to figure out the malevolent spirits that the vampire pumpkin attracts I found widely different answers that really only had the fact that the folklore said there were fairies that could change fate. So, I don’t know how accurate anything here is because the internet isn’t always the best place to research things.

This means that during season three while Wesley is the boss he gets a case with a guy begging them for help because his field is overrun by vampire pumpkins. Wesley takes it very serious since they're not dangerous themselves but the spirits they attract are but the rest of the gang is like ha ha they're just rolling pumpkins and they go and smash them and collect the pieces for him to boil and then scrub with a broom then burns the broom. but Fred finds a smaller one and takes it cause she thinks its cute but hides it so the others won't see. Fred keeps the pumpkin in her room and angel can smell the blood and is like why? Freds like its cute and harmless. Angel shrugs and doesn't mention it to Wesley. Gunn and Cordy also manage to find out and keep their lips zipped. Wesley is unaware. I forgot to mention but the only sound these pumpkins can make is brrr. So time goes on and Fred is getting tired.

Wesley is Less mad and more alarmed finding out.

A bit like "I told you all these creatures are dangerous!" 

 "So what if they make us a little tired? Its cute. How can you tell us to get rid of this face?" Cordelia held the pumpkin up like a proud cat owner. "

Its not about them making you all tired, though that can become a very serious problem if left unchecked, its about the fact they attract malevolent spirits. You've been keeping a small but powerful magnet that draws in very dangerous creatures." Wesley explains, though he sounds a bit like he's pleading. He seems very distressed over the entire thing. Cordelia almost felt bad, but Wesley was being a worry wart. They'd had little Timmy for months now and the worst that had happened is the stains he left on Fred's carpet. 

 "C'mon Wes, we fight demons for a living. We can handle some pissed off ghosts." Gunn argued. 

 "Or we could just talk to them and help them, ghosts can be reasonable!" Cordelia added, thoughts directed towards Dennis. 

 "You all don't understand!" Wesley cried, he had began to pace back and forth. "The word spirit doesn't just reference ghosts, and these pumpkins attract a very specific group of fae that can become catastrophically dangerous!" His voice was doing that thing where it got higher and he was starting to talk faster. Cordelia herself felt anxious from just watching him. 

 "Fae? As in fairies?" Fred asked with a timid voice. She had been quiet the whole argument. Cordelia was pretty sure if Fred just gave Wesley big sad puppy dog eyes he'd give in. The power that woman had over these two was unbelievable. 

 "Youre this worked up over some fairies?" Gunn asked, amusement lacing his tone. "Tiny little things that sprinkle dust and die if people don't believe in them?" Wesley stopped his pacing absurdly and turned to Gunn, his anxiety about the situation seemed to be becoming more agitated. There was definitely going to be some fallout damage that Cordelia would have to pick up and repair herself. She let out a heavy sigh. 

 "This isn't Peter Pan! There are multiple kinds of fae, not all of which we would think of as fairies, though the type these pumpkins summon are, but something that remains true of all fairies is that they have a great deal of powerful magic at their disposal. Magic that makes ours look like a children's display. The fairies this creature attracts are particularly dangerous because they are able to alter people's destiny's." Wesley explained, voice strained. He was at least making an effort not to go macho man on Gunn. Then his words kicked in. She gasped. 

 "Angel-" Cordelia began and Wesley turned to her and nodded grimly.

 "Yes, they could change the shanshu prophecy to something very different and very likely Angel would be expected to do things less pleasant if he wanted to become human." Wesleys words brought a heavy silence.

Wesley’s like a parent whose kid brought a bunny into the house even though they know their other parent is allergic because they assumed that just meant a runny nose and itchy eyes while in reality the allergic parents throats will swell and close and would need to be taken to the hospital immediately
