A whole lot of people think that whatever it is THEY feel entitled to, they feel that way for a TRUE and JUST reason, and not like those OTHER people who feel entitled to things they DON'T deserve!

Every human being should be entitled to water, food, shelter, medical care, and education, in that order.

You are not entitled to my time, my attention, my energy, just because I happened to post a thing and you exist. Yes, I posted it on the Internet! Yes, I need to accept that the natural consequence of that is people responding to it. But you don't deserve a reply just because you think you ought to get one for being such a good little tumblr user who engaged with my content, because I am not primarily a content creator and I don't have to abide by those rules.

You aren't my boss. You don't pay me. So think about customer service rules--those apply to your beloved content creators who do make their money off Internet engagement--and then think about how you'd talk to a woman sitting at a bus stop who made one comment (generally into the vicinity rather than to you specifically) about the weather and then went back to reading her book, because those are wildly different rules.

I just post about what I hear, and I fully expect people who read my stuff to do their own research (like any sane human being would).

If you are going to be upset about me posting any 'news' without always having undeniable proof it's going on, that's on *you*.

It's not my job to give proof, actually use your brain for once and go look it up yourself instead of blindly believing/denying whatever I'm posting to my own account because *you* don't want to do the damn research yourself.

Seriously, just saying I am 'giving misinformation' and nothing actually constructive does *nothing* in this situation.

All it does is tell me you want to be lazy - instead of asking if anyone else has proof and starting dialogue between one another, you decide to attack *me* for my post and derail the conversation entirely to get attention on your end.

If you are saying I need proof, you can give it yourself if you're gonna be nasty about it (seriously my reblogs are always on it's not that hard - others have used it to further the converstion, so you can too).

Here's our personal opinion on the meta for RWBY regarding bumbleby.

RWBY was very easy for us to read. As in, the cues, the hints at plot development, the characterizations, etc. we're all easy for us to pick out. For example, we knew Blake was a cat before they revealed it. We knew Penny was an android from the start. We even correctly guessed the relationship between Ozpin and Salem way before Jin ever told anyone.

What we're saying is that RWBY has, to us, very transparent foreshadowing and signalling, at least in the previous eight volumes.

Do you want to know what else we immediately assumed was going to happen? Blake and Yang.

We aren't really what you would call shippers. We don't really look at characters from a show or anything and think about how they should be together or what it would be like if they were or anything like that. At least not out of nowhere. We usually only look at a show's pre-defined relationships and go "yeah that makes sense" or "no that's just silly." so it definitely wasn't just our imposition of our wishes for them to be together that we were seeing. But we did see it coming. And honestly, if we can see something like that coming, we think it must be obvious to some other people because we are the type of knuckleheads to see a romantic relationship and think they're just friends because we are usually extremely imperceptive of romantic/sexual feelings.

We have seen people like to say that Sun was initially written to be with Blake, but we don't think that's entirely true. Sun may have been loosely written with that intention at first, but we don't think it was the plan from the beginning and it felt very forced to us. Sun felt like a wedge they shoved in there abruptly and we were very confused, because Blake already had Yang, to us, at that point.

If anything, we feel like the writers tried to force Sun and Blake to happen and it failed because it just wasn't good and the audience made that known.

Personally, we also don't really understand why people say that Blake and Yang never seemed to visibly pursue this. We know there wasn't a whole "I love you be my girlfriend" on the nose talk, but we saw the nuance? We literally watched them get closer and closer over the span of the show and didn't really need them to say it so plainly. It was pretty visible to us.

TL;DR is that we never felt like Bumbleby was forced or poor writing. We actually think the writing was pretty good and depicted the natural way people become closer without using a bunch of fancy words about it!
