the continued incapacity of c3 defenders to focus on the campaign's execution rather than outcome as the main target of criticism is perhaps one of the most telling things of all.

Those scaria-infected animals (fennec foxes, by the way) got a hit in on Mechi's torso. It got infected, but he's got excellent medical skills and was able to tend it to keep his immunity a comfortable way ahead of the infection. He'll be fiiine.
