This time, Maria had planned for every possible eventuality. Raphael had been bribed to distract Sophia. Mary had been tricked into going to watch a concert with Alan. Geordo was waiting at another building entirely due to some well-placed lies. Nicol was busy spying on Sophia and Raphael. Even Sora had agreed to distract their coworkers so she could manage this one.

She was going to confess her feelings in their entirety with no possible sources of confusion.

As I was the only one in the carriage, I fell asleep as usual. I asked the coachman to wake me up after arriving in the Ministry of Magic .

    When I got off the carriage and walked to the gate, an escort guard followed me. I feel like a noble lady. Ah, that’s what I am !

    After entering the gate, I saw Sora already waiting for me there.

    "Good morning to you."

    Sora greeted the escort guard and me respectfully.

    "Good morning, my lady, I'll leave it to you."

    The escort guard responded to Sora and left.

    I, on the other hand, was looking at them in confusion.

    "Uh... what's going on, Sora ?"

    I asked Sora next to me as I watched the escort guard leave.

    "My name is Sora Smith. From today on, I will be responsible for escorting you, Miss Catarina Claes, in the Ministry of Magic. I'm counting on you"

    He saluted me as elegantly as when I first met dressed as a butler, and then tell me that.

    "Huh, a guard in the Ministry of Magic !?"

    Seeing my surprised face, he showed an incredulous expression.

    "Haven't you heard about it ? "

    he asked me.

    That's when I remembered what my father told me before I left home.

    "I will find someone else in the Ministry of Magic . 

    My father mentioned that he would find someone in the Ministry of Magic to protect me.

    "...I've heard of it. So Sora, you are the guard ?"

    "Yes. We are in the same department and we are familiar with each other. Your father said it should be a good fit."

    That's indeed the case.

    Sora knows about dark magic and the "Dark Contract" (and of course Maria's contract). There should be no one more suitable than him.

    "But Sora, don't you have your own job ? You have to be my guard so I feel a bit guilty."

    Sora is also a member of the Magic Items Research Laboratory and has his own job to do. It would be troublesome to leave the department to protect me.

    "Oh, don't worry about this. Duke Claes has officially entrusted the Ministry of Magic to arrange the escort, and it seems that the payment is also included. Even if I am missing, people from other departments have been arranged to make up for it."

Hearing Sora say that made me realise that it was indeed the case.

Now I'm very motivated about my work and want to work hard. But at first, I didn't want to marry Geordo and become a royal right away, so I entered the Ministry of Magic as an escape.

In fact, some people criticized me and sa things like "The Duke's daughter is just killing time temporarily" This is still the case today.

Father must have heard it at his workplace as well. A lot of people think that grown-up noble girls shouldn't work.

Even though others didn't think highly of his daughter's work, father didn't ask me to stop working. Instead, he went out of his way to arrange an escort to get me to work. The same goes for not rushing me into marriage, father has always respected my wishes.

I couldn't help but mutter.

"That's great."

Sora told me with a smile.

"Yeah. So, Sora, I'll leave it to you to be my guard."

"Please leave it to me."

Sora said with a respectful bow.

So Sora and I headed to the department together. He exudes an aura of neatness, like a capable butler.

    After knocking on the door of the magic item laboratory, we entered. Normally (Sora is with me today) I would be the first to arrive, but today someone was here earlier.

I see that Albert has no redeemable qualities! About your 1st point: like some otome games, the real plot starts halfway for some characters. But if it's for Albert, I think it may be possible for the Vinculum period to set the story context foundations for his route, and it could be short like how fast the climax appeared in the friendship route. I agree with all of your points mentioned! Which is why I wonder if there's even the possibility of Albert x Catarina in the first place. Also, I don't think being a duchess and a queen is exactly the same. Being royal is tougher, I assume, from Geordo's route. She had less apprehension with her suitor's background with the other characters. Although he had an amazing entrance with a sexy CG, his personality is not very likable due to his cunningness... I wish to write a fanfic for him because I feel that his background, responsibilities, personality etc make him unique from the rest, and maybe dive beyond what can be seen on the surface. Also, maybe I'm dreaming too much, but I think it'd be romantic if Albert somehow moved past using her as a pawn and actually see her as someone precious. Otherwise, I can see a dark and yandere future ahead. Putting Albert beside his cousin, Rozy is tragically earnest, honest and sincere compared to him.

Well, I really dislike Albert 😅.

Though, he does have a redeemable quality: he seems to truly care about Rozy and Silva. He took the initiative to tear Katarina off Geordo for Rozy's sake, and he teases Silva the same way he would tease a little brother.

Albert *could* maybe come to genuinely love Katarina, but for that, Katarina would need to be part of their little circle at least. Thing is, it can't happen unless he separates Katarina from her friends.

And setting aside that he would have to be okay with breaking Rozy's heart, I think it would take a long time for him to fall for Katarina.

I kinda see Albert as a possible future FL!Geordo. Geordo initially just wanted to use Katarina and manipulate her. Unlike the other in the harem, he didn't fall in love with her at a specific moment, but gradually fell in love with her.

So if you want to write a romance between Albert and Katarina, I think you can consider these elements.

As the hamefura anime has come to an end, I wanted to make a fanart of the mangas that I personally enjoyed the most from that said genre. Thank you hamefura for introducing me to the isekai villainess genre I definitely recommend these to people who liked hamefura and like the genre in general! I Know That We Haven't Reach An Ending Yet, But.....

I know usually in other Visual Novels/Manga/Anime we see protagonists go with the popular male lead, but in my opinion I think in this case there should be multiple endings involving who Katarina ends up with who. From all the build ups, it would be a shame not to. The characters relationship with Katarina are cute in their own way (despite the fact my own panromantic heart ships Maria/Katarina, but I still support others though). They all deserve a chance of a possible future.

My (ANIME ONLY!!!! NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!!) HameFura Ships essentially go: 

Catarina X Maria -- I mean Maria was meant to be the Main Character at the centre of the Harem until Catarina showed up and blew that all away! She makes Catarina’s heart skip a beat, and Catarina gives her the motivation to pursue her dreams! 

Catarina X Sophia -- SOULMATES. They are LITERALLY soulmates. If Atsuko could not be with “Catarina” in the previous life because of that life being cut short, she DESERVES to be with her in this one! Plus they’re just totally sweet together in general, and bring out the good in one another! I would like it if Sophia stopped trying to set her up with Nicole though. I mean I GET IT, if Catarina marries her brother than they can spend more time together etc. but it’s still weird. 

Alan X Catarina X Mary -- I think once Mary learns to chill and to share nicely, she and Catarina could have a really good relationship! But I think that would involve having a more cool minded presence in the form of Alan involved. Mary and Alan are already engaged, and so I think they could form a really solid friendship that would be nicely added to with Catarina! 

Meanwhile Catarina gets TWO partners who love and adore her, and can shower her with sweets! She definitely has a lot of fun with the pair, and I could see lots of smiles in their future! 

Geordo X Keith -- I mean I wouldn’t say that I have anything against Geordo X Catarina PER SAY, but she has dropped MANY hints that she wants the engagement called off and does not want to be a Princess. But Geordo refuses to end it!!!! Which is not great behaviour IMO. Meanwhile Keith is Catarina’s BROTHER! Adopted yes. Fell in love before their siblinghood was established. Maybe by a few hours. BUT THEY’RE STILL SIBLINGS!!!!! So h needs to just... back off. 

Meanwhile him and Geordo have so many hot tempered verbal sparing matches, they’re certainly on a similar wave length and I think that if they just kisses it would solve a lot of problems and teach them something about themselves. 

And you KNOW that Catarina would be supportive of them!!!! 

My “Pair the Spare” brain provides me with Nicole X Raphael and I think they could definitely make it work. They’re both the quiet and studious type, so I imagine they’d have a lot of fun just sitting quietly in a room reading together. I think they’d both encourage each other out of their shells a bit more, and become a bit of a socio-political power couple ^__^

But I’m only like, 20% invested in the ship, and would be happy to see them stay single or find someone else along the line! Whilst remaining friends with the rest of the Harem, of course!

Poor prince dont hive up. And i know he never give up :3 Later in the story Catarina also start to realise her own feeling for this blondie, but she still have some lingering self-doubt. But i hear the bells :3

2. Melissa x Nine

Melissa think herself as a villainess, and want to live up for this reputation, but oh gawd! She makes peoples life better. Started for the servant in the mansion, unknowingly helped Lady Yuri (the FL) to realise Prince Ian its a cheater, and saved Nine life. Nine became her top guardian and the top cute guy from the whole story with total devotion for Melissa. And their interactions are also so sweet. I just want them together.

1. Latte x Arwin

Oh yeah, right in the lifepoints XD Latte and Arwin the strangest couple for the eyes of stranger. A girl, who speak sarcasm fluently, the next moment became embarassed and start to shouting with a guy, whom have a reputation to kill everyone who make him angry. But not Latte. She not realise how she changed the story; Arwin likes interesting peoples, whom are different from the rest and Latte just like this. Yeah, we got some stalker/yandere/jelly/posessive vibes from him, but also because of Latte influence, he also became less temperamental and 100% more protective.
