I was wondering if you still had requests open? If so could you do something where reader starts becoming friends with the boys (Alhaitham, Thoma, Xiao, Wanderer, Kaeya, Lyney, Kazuha, Cyno) and maybe she’s holding back a little because while she thinks of him as her friend {or best friend} but she doesn’t know if he thinks the same and she doesn’t want to cross any lines so she’s not expecting much. How would the boys react to something like that?

ive grouped them into similar categories just bc of the volume of characters so i hope you dont mind!!

Al Haitham, Xiao, Cyno, and Wanderer won't directly talk to you about his feelings if it doesn't seem like you return them. He also doesn't want to run the risk of crossing any boundaries without certainty that you would want him to act romantically. Things wouldn't really progress unless you actively told him how you feel about him, or became more obvious. He isn't the most receptive to cues but can understand them if you're going to be obvious enough about it. Once he starts understanding that you want to pursue a romantic relationship with him things will develop faster, telling you that he feels the same and he wants things to develop.

Thoma, Kaeya, Lyney, and Kazhua notice that you're growing a little more reserved around him. You're pulling away because you're worried your feelings are going to become even more obvious if you spend too much time around him. He's kind enough to try and respond similarly, worried that he's done something to offend you. He'll ask you one day if there's a reason why you're pulling away from him, eventually leading to your confession to him about your feelings. He'll lightly tease you for hiding them from him, telling you that he feels the same and if you had just admitted them to him earlier the two of you could have been together by now.

You got sent out to patrol around Aaru Village today with Cyno to collect some Henna berries that only grew near the desert near by.

The mahamtra strides a few steps before you just around the curve of the trail, scoping out any dangerous emeines who hide out here who’d want to have their shot at “taking him down.”

He hears faint small grunts from behind him and comes to a stop. He turns a bit to see you struggling with something in your hands.

“Stupid bottle, just open!” You hiss, clicking your tongue, placing the cap between your teeth to try and pull it off that way.

He feels the corners of his lips turn upward at the sight.

Your brows furrow as you tug the bottle between your teeth now but to no avail, it still didn’t work which only made you more upset.

“This DUMB BOTTLE!” You huff, throwing it on the floor and glaring at it. That’s when you heard Cyno muffle his laughter making you glare at him now.

Cyno tried. He really did. He wasn’t laughing at you but the way your cute face was glaring at the poor inanimate object made him double over.

Seeing as such it takes a while for you to get angry, it really takes the simplest things to push your buttons.

“What’re you laughing at?!” You click your tongue only making him laugh harder.

He makes his way up to the bottle you threw and picks it up, opening up the bottle with ease as he sends you his stupid knowing smile.

“You cheater, you did this didnt you?!” You cross your arms making his laughter bubble up past his lips, the sound made you smile though you were still annoyed.

“Now why would I do that? Here drink some it’s getting much warmer than earlier now.” He chuckles, holding the bottle out to you and you take it, eyes suspiciously narrowing at him.

He won’t tell you of course, he made sure to close it extra tight after you told him to fill it up but not so you’d ask him for help no, never that. He just wanted to make sure no water was to escape!

Kazuha

(medicine, pain killer bottle)

You blink up at your dark ceiling, Kazuhas soft breathing was the only thing you tried to focus on to try and ease your throbbing temples and sore throat.

Your nasal passages were blocked with mucus and you couldn’t stand or sit for too long without feeling dizzy from the sheer amount of pain your head was in but you were driving yourself crazy as more time passed, you couldn’t sleep.

You peek over at Kazuha to make sure your moving hasn’t stirred him and see him sleeping peacefully.

You decide to take more medication to ease the throbbing temples, hoping to feel sleep consume you and knock you out just like Kazuha is right now.

You reach over to your nightstand to grab the bottle of nighttime pain meds in hopes to knock out but feel no bottle, only your glass of water.

Another sign leaves your lips as you have to get up now to go to the bathroom to get your new bottle. You slowly peel back the blankets, a cold chill running up your spine though your body temperature was well over 100 degrees.

You shiver as your bare feet make contact with the hardwood, you quickly slip your legs from the blanket and get up, your legs felt far too weak to be standing but your headache was far worse.

Your arms wrap around your torso as you quickly make your way to the door and slowly peel it back, slipping though to and into the cold bathroom.

You quickly close the door behind you and turn the lights on, only making the throbbing pulse even worse.

“Where is it at?” You whisper to yourself, your hand rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you open the cabinet.

In all its glory it was there facing back at you, right in the end of the second row.

You grab it close the cabinet again, slipping out of the restroom and turning the lights off before tip toeing back to your bed.

You stop at your bedside table next to your glass of water and push down the cap to pop the bottle open, except, it doesn’t budge.

You try again, and again and again.

You stop and take a deep breath, trying to calm your self down. You wipe both your palms on your pajama bottoms and try again, still nothing.

Now this was getting personal.

You use your non dominant hand to try and twist it but still, nothing . You use your shirt and nothing.

“Dumb bottle!” you squeeze, teeth gritting as you use the little strength you have to twist it. “How do you even?!” You shake the pill bottle in your hands out of annoyance and see your bed light switch on.

“Y/n?” Kazuha’s soft sleepy voice calls, confused as to why you were aggressively shaking you medication bottle at two in the morning.

“Ah kazuha, I’m sorry I shook the bottle to hard and woke you.” You sigh, putting the bottle down feeling even worse than when you got up. The pain was hitting you harder now.

“Can you not open it?” He asks, hand brushing his stray hair back as you sit down on the beds

“It’s not cooperating! Why’d they shut it so tight?!” You grumble, arms crossing over your chest and he chuckles.

“Why not ask for help?” He hums, grabbing the small bottle in his hold, twisting it with ease, both cap and bottle separating as he sends you a warm closed eye smile.

“You were sleeping, you looked so at peace I didn’t want to wake you.” You yawn and he takes a pill into his hand, grabbing your glass of water before making us way in front of you.

“Next time wake me, you’re not feeling good right now I told you let me help you.” He assures you, placing the pill onto your hand and handing you your glass of water. Smiling when you take it, seeing your eyes droppy with sleep.

“Here, lay down.” He grands the bottle and glass from your hands and places them back in the bedside table before turning and tucking you in.

“All warm?” He asks and you send him a smile and nod.

He brushes the stray hair on your forehead and turns to lay next to you but you grab his before he can walk away.

“Can you take the bottle with you? I might need you to open it later.” You sleepily mumble and he hums back. Quickly kneeling down and planting a soft kiss onto your forehead before grabbing the pain medication bottle, walking back to his side, and falling back asleep with you.

Xiao

(jar of jam)

Xiao isn’t someone who really tires new things but you just so happened to love to bake and he was always there willing to try out your dishes!

Xiao had just arrived back from scoping out the vicinity of Wangshu Inn, making sure no evil was near or causing danger to those resides nearby.

He wanted nothing more than to sit and have time to himself. His mind was racing far more than usual, maybe if he was lucky enough you’d be around today to help him take his mind off his own thoughts, off everything.

The adeputs made his way up to the balcony of the Inn but stopped in his tracks when he heard a loud ruckus coming from the kitchen.

He stops and looks around, holding his breath to make sure he wasn’t mistaking it until the piercing sound of glass shattering on the floor made him skeptical. It was pretty late and no one was usually in the kitchen at this time, we’ll no one but you sometimes.

In an instant he was in the kitchen, he was met with your back as you were kneeling on the floor, picking up pieces of glass, red liquid surrounding you.

His mask dissipates as he scans you before kneeling next to you, grabbing your hands in his.

“What’re you doing? Are you hurt?” His quiet voice grows a bit louder when he sees your fingers bleeding.

“Sorry I didnt mean to startle you, it just I,“ you look away, feeling embarrassed at the whole situation. “I-I couldn’t open the jar of jam.” You whisper the last part as you feel your face heat up.

Xiao can only stare, unsure of how he should even respond to that.

“Jar of jam? Is this what’s all over you? How did it break.” He asks, helping you up to wash your hands.

“I was making you a new dessert to try, I just got some jars of jam delivered so I decided to incorporate them with this dish. I couldn’t open it so I hit it against the counter a few times to loosen the lid, but it ended up cracking in my hands.” You look down at your fingers, small laugh escaping your lips at your own clumsiness.

“Next time ask for help.” He sighs, turning the water on, putting your hands underneath afterwards to was off the sweet sticky substance and dry blood.

“It wasn’t that big of a deal, I didn’t want to bother anyone it’s my own fault I should’ve known.” You assure him, seeing worry still etched on his features as he gently washes the blood off.

“Next time call for me. I’ll help you.” He says as if calling him is simple, as if he doesn’t have enough to shoulder daily and as doing so indicates much more than he’s letting on.

Calling an adeputs, distracting them of their duties. You couldn’t let yourself do something so selfish, you know to not call his name when he’s doing much more important things for something so small.

“Xiao I can’t do that, you know that this isn’t serious. Someone should only call you in the moments of desperation or distress not to open a jar of jam!” You tell him making him sigh again, hand pinching the bridge of his nose.

“You’re hurt, look at your fingers.” He states, lifting your hands up.

“Next time, if you’re around, I’ll ask for your help, if not I’ll wait for you to come back ok? How does that sound? I won’t be reckless like that again, I promise.” You assure him and see his shoulders slump a bit, he wasn’t so tense anymore.

“That’s an exception, but don’t be reckless again, glass could hurt you more than you think remember that.” He lets your hands go and turns but you reach out for him before he can disappear again.

You know he has a hard time around humans, it took months for him to let you even be around him or even respond to you when you talked to him so the fact that he even checked up on you made you realize how far he’s come, how much he genuinely cares.

“Stay.” You blurt out beofre you can even think. “I-I’ll make you dessert! As a thank you for checking up on me, for making sure I was ok. You didn’t need to but I appreciate it!” You smile at him and he opens his mouth to decline but before he can you pull him to the nearby seat by the stove.

“Rest, you’ve been out all day, eat and if you want to leave after you’re more than welcome to but let me make you something, please?” You ask and he sighs again, not out of worry or annoyance but because he couldn’t say no. What have you done to this poor adeputs making him have a loss for words, how dare you make him not be able to say no hehe.

“But one thing before I start!” You turn to the cabinet near you, rummaging before you pull out a jar of red jam before handing it to him. “Uh, can you open this for me? I don’t want to break another jar.” You laugh and his cat like eyes narrow at you a bit before taking the jar and twisting it with ease, the popping sound making your smile widen, making the corners of his lips turn up a bit at your reaction before handing it back to you.

Kaeya

(bottle of wine/alcohol)

Kaeya had come home particularly early from his shift today. In his hands he held a bottle of specialty wine he had gotten his hands on from an importer earlier.

He isn’t much of a wine person but he’s been hearing about it nonstop and wanted to try it out! He thought no one would be more better to share it with than you!

“Im not big on alcohol but I have to admit, the bottle is pretty. Where was this imported from again?” You ask, fingers gracing the flower carvings in the glass.

“Sumeru, it’s supposedly the finest they have! Though my fathe- Diluc sells them wine, this is their own creation from plants and herbs from their luscious forest!” He hums, hand leaning on the counter next to you as his head peeks over you shoulder to admire the bottle.

“Hmmm, tell me how it is yeah?” You smile seeing him side eye you, small pout playing on his lips.

“Wont you try it just this once? I won’t push it but it might be to your liking.” Kaeya wines when you turn away, his hand immediately grab your waist stopping you from moving any further.

“Pleasseee.” He pleads, nuzzling his head between you shoulder and neck his breath tickling you making you giggle.

“Ok ok, but just a sip! No more.” You give in making him stand tall and gasp in suprise.

Doofus.

“Why what’s this? Is someone’s giving in so easily? Just for being compliant I’ll make you a delicious meal to go along with this yeah?” He beams, sending you a closed eye smile and you sigh. You really can’t say no to him huh? No. No you can’t he’s so freaking cute it’s not even funny anymore-ok.

“Darling, while I make us something can you open up that bottle for us, please?” He asks, giving you a small peck on you cheek before turning to the stove and switching in the pilots.

“Ah- ok, where’s the cork screw?” You ask, opening the cabinet next to you before Kaeya’s hand appears before you can turn to him.

“Thank you.” Your words fade as it hits you, you have absolutely no idea how to even open a wine bottle.

You turn to Kaeya to ask him but see him gathering ingredients, now you really didn’t want to ask.

Heck no, this wasn’t going to be your downfall. You were now determined to get it open yourself.

You place the wine bottle onto the counter and hold it still as you dig the bottom end of the screw into the cork, twisting until in went all the way in.

Now all you had to do was pull up, simple task. Not.

Your fingers shake as you pull up, holding the bottle down with your other hand. It wasn’t working. Now you were playing tug of war with the damn bottle.

Kaeya had just finished chopping up some vegetables to throw in your the pot when he heard you grunting behind him.

He quickly peeks back but does a double take at the sight that is before him.

You had now moved the bottle between your legs, squeezing them closed to grip the bottle and you arm was roughly tugging back, poor bottle.

Kaeya couldn’t help it. The laugh bubbles past his lips making you look up at him as he boubles over at your expression.

“ts not funny.” You grunt, pulling back harder but it just won’t budge.

“I can’t open it!” You groan, getting more mad at the stupid bottle as seconds passed. “It just won’t budge this is SO DUMB!!” You aggressively shake the bottle in your hold and hear Kaeya howl behind you.

His hand stops your wrist from shaking it anymore and he has to wipe the tears that form in his eyes. He hasn’t laughed so hard in a while.

“It’s not funny!” You turn to him pouting. “You open it before I throw this in the floor to get it open!” You sigh, lightly shoving the glass bottle into his hands.

“Sweetie, don’t get mad, your knight in shining armor is here to help!” He teases, making you roll your eyes at him.

He makes his way to the counter, gently placing the bottle down before swiftly moving his hand making an audible pop come from the bottle, making your mouth fall open.

Did he just? That fast?

“It wasn’t so hard now was I-“

“What? How?” You furrow your brows, your reaction making his signature shit eating smirk grace his lips.

You step closer to him grabbing his hands in your and checking them seeing the cork screw and cork resting on his palms.

“Didn’t it hurt your hands?” You ask, fingers rubbing his palms and he short circuits a bit. You were worried about his palms?

“A- No they don’t hurt, all good see.” He opens and closes them and you nod in amazement. You have the most handsomest, strongest boyfriend of all time.

But he had lee way, this little shit is an expert at opening bottles for one and two, his gloves helped him grip it better, but you needn’t know such things. Now he gets to relax with you and wind down to a nice dinner and wine date with you, he’s more than happy with just that alone!

Reader doesn't think she's worthy of Kazuha Headcanons

You had been close friends with Kazuha for a long time, and you always wanted him.

You hadn't intended this to happen, but you fell in love with Kazuha. He was everything you could have ever wanted, and you couldn't see yourself with anyone else.

But, you could never tell him that, no matter how much you wanted to.

Besides risking your friendship with him, you knew you could never be good enough for someone like him.

Kazuha was amazing in every way, and you consider yourself below average when you put it nicely.

Any confidence you might get crumbles when you see Kazuha talking to another woman. Someone beautiful, stunning, and perfect for him.

You knew you could never compete with them. How could you when they looked so perfect standing next to him?

But it was more than looks. They were stronger, more intelligent, and everything you weren't.

But the longer you kept this bottled up inside, the more you would suffer. So you sat down and took the time to write Kazuha a letter that you would never send.

You poured your heart out to him, told him all about your feelings, and how you knew you could never be enough for him. Unfortunately, you didn't have enough time to finish the letter that night and intended to finish writing it and burn it within a few days.

But days turned to weeks, and your unfinished letter was left sitting on your messy desk, amongst many other papers.

Kazuha didn't consider himself a snoop, but when he came over for tea one day and saw his name printed on the letter, he couldn't help himself.

When you came back into the room carrying the tea, he was holding the letter in his hand, a look of shock on his face.

"Is this how you really feel?"

Tears started pouring down your cheeks as you set the cups of tea down on the table, your hands trembling so badly that you almost dropped them.

"You weren't supposed to read that."

The next thing you knew, strong arms were holding onto you, allowing you to cry into his chest.

"Oh dearest, you are so magnificent… If I had known you felt this way sooner, I would have pushed all these troubling thoughts from your mind."

He gently coaxed your head up by placing his fingertip under your chin, having you stare up at him with tear-filled eyes.

"I have adored you for so long now. You are everything I could have wanted as well."

The two of you held each other as an aura of peace surrounded you, both of you finally getting your true feelings out in the open.

I just couldn't have him reject her! I would have cried too much. I hope you enjoy!

So you made a rule that when you hear EVEN ONE thing that includes something that degrades themselves, they will be punished personally by you.

It involves lipstick💄 so if you don't like wearing lipstick and being a ✨️bAdDiE✨️ then this ain't for you.

You were on a cliff, enjoying the breeze that softly passes through you. Waiting for the ship to come to Liyue. After for few hours, you saw the ship coming to land. You went there, excited to see your favorite person. Kazhua!

"Hey, Beidou. I was wondering, where is Kazhua?", "Oh. He just got off a ship, he said he wanted to be alone. I'm sure he isn't that far."

You were behind a tree, stalking- I mean watching Kazhua since you didn't wanna disturb him. You heard a faint....sob? Why? You saw him in tears, saying apologies, mourning Tomo's death. Blaming himself for not stopping him.

You knew that if Tomo was alive, he wouldn't want him to keep being sad and mourning over his death. So you decided to reveal yourself.

"*hick-* I- your Grace? I'm sorry, I must look like a mess! Please wait a moment, I will-" he was panicking, trying to wipe his tears away, and stop his crying. He froze. He felt a familiar warmth, hugging him, and softly stroking his hair. He shattered into tears, sobbing onto you. Crying, and crying, hugging you tighter, like you would leave his grasp.

Ah...he fell asleep. You decided to let him sleep. he snuggles closer, and you cradled him. Letting him bathe in your warmth. Well, the next day he apologized, asking if he could do anything for you to forgive him.

You grabbed the lipstick (I do not care where the heck you grab it from, heck. You can even grab it from *Raiden shogun's famous scene)

He saw your lipstick and he felt danger, he tried to scoot back but got cornered to a wall. "HAHAHA, you can't get away now can you~ it's time." You smiled so evilly. You kissed him all over his face, and he blushed softly looking away.

Well, you might think. "Oh, everyone is gonna ask him. 'Why is there a smudge on your face?'" But everyone knows. (At least Beidou's crew) Beidou is teasing him every moment she gets, trying to hold back a laugh...."BAHAAHAHAH-" she failed miserably.

You smiled back. You recently used your vision to fake your death, and with the help of the traveler, you succeeded. Before that incident, you had a chat with traveler and your situation with him. She was shocked, she didn't think the adeptus Xiao would do that, especially you. Even Paimon was shocked. You explained how he would always help her out and never help you whenever you ask him. You also mentioned about a picnic you planned and that he tood you up. No matter how much you love, care, or help him, he never listens to you.

"I didn't know he was that cruel to do you like that.." she told, putting a hand on yours.

"I just hope he can understand what he's doing. He just looks so head over rels over you after you came."

"I know what to do just for him to sob for you presence..if only you're up for it, of course."

"Of course, I'm ready for anything you plan.." you said, holding her hand with a smile on your face.

That's what happen before that incident. What you both did was that traveler had to buy fake blood and make it smell real. Then there's you, you had to look dead and lifeless, with the help with your cryo vision, it lowered the temperature around you and yourself. And boy, it was freezing. It took a few tries for you to make it look real with the help with some practice with Traveler and Paimon. After that, you three both planned when to do it, and decided to do it on that day. First, Traveler had to hang out with Xiao and distract him. While Paimon, had to rip small bits of your clothing to make it look real. You yourself painted the fake blood on yourself and god, it smelled real too. Oh how Xiao wouldn't know a single thing of what you three were doing. After Xiao carried your body to your favorite place, you were awed by the beautiful view. This was the place he first heard your singing and met you. He hummed the song you sang when he first met you, as his tears spilled out. Traveler hid in a spot in the area and snatch you before he saw you. Traveler ran for her life as she held you in bridal style. You felt a tingle in you stomach, no, this was only part of the plan, you knew you shouldn't feel like this towards her. Traveler quickly placed you down and you used you cryo vision to make a frozen bubble around you as you change the clothes you were wearing. Gosh, you were lucky it wasn't a spot Xiao knew. You were grateful for the traveler's help. After you finished, you kicked the ice and walked out like nothing happened. Traveler soon carried you to Beidou's ship, The Crux. She put you down gently and was about to step back but you pull her into a hug.

"Thank you so much...I owe you for this one," you said, letting go of you hug and smiling at her.

"Of course, anything to help," she answered, and smiled back.

"And bye to you Paimon, don't worry, I didn't forget you."

"Good, because Paimon thought you forgotten her! A—And goodbye!"

You waves them a farewell as the ship started. You sighed in relief, finally a new chapter of your life, starting at Inazuma. You heard the wonderful scenery there and you just have to absolutely go there! You were so happy, but also felt bad for Xiao, your ex-lover who was once your love. You didn't declare your break-up with him but leaving him is a way for him to know that you both are done.

"Hello there, I guess your the one we're delivering to Inazuma," he said with a soft smile on his face.

"Oh, um, yes. Are you going to Inazuma?" you asked.

He chuckled and said, "Oh no, I'm not going. I'm just a traveler who traveles with Beidou."

"Beidou? Is she the captain?"

"That's right. Anyways, what's your name? I'm Kaedehara Kazhua."

"Oh—I'M L/N Y/N."

"Nice to meet you, Y/N."

A few months later, he's already confessed his feelings to you. You've accepted and you both now have a house together but you both mostly travel together with Beidou and her crew. You both have come back from your trip from Sumeru and we're exhausted. You both were now at Liyue because Beidou had to see Ningguang.

"Gosh, that was tiring," you said, yawning.

"I know dove, but it was fun wasn't it?"

"I guess you could say that, you said, stepping out of the boat.

You both were looking for a place to stay, too bad to was farther than usual. You and Kazhua both made in in time before sun went down. You went up and asked a room for two of you to rest in. After you finish, you both decided to walk around for awhile. While walking with Kazhua, you felt a tug on your wrist.

"Y/N is that you?" a familiar voice asked.

You turned around and saw Xiao, your former lover. Xiao looks like he hasn't seen you in ages (obviously) . He looks into your eyes and gently touches your face.

"Excuse me, who are you?" Kazhua asked.

"Adeptus Xiao, who are you?"

"Her lover, you must be Y/N's former lover."

"Former? What does this mean?"

"Remember that time when you saw my lifeless body? I wasn't actually dead at that time."

Xiao looked at you with a shocked face

"B—But why? Why'd you do that?!"

"Simple, remember that time when Y/N had a picnic all set up? Yeah, and you stood her up, she waited until afternoon and you never came." A familiar voice said.

"Yeah right! Paimon doesn't think that's a good answer!"

"To our understandment, I think you should move on from Y/N. It seems clear that she already moved on from you," Kazhua said, crossing his arms.

Xiao lowered his head, and answered, "Fine then. Go enjoy your lover. I won't bother."

He disappeared quickly in black smoke. You four sighed in relief.

"Thanks for the back up, traveller."

"No problem, I'm happy to help like I said all of those months ago," she said, smiling.

"Hey! Paimon deserves to be thanked too!"

"Of course, thank you too Paimon," you chuckled.

"I think it's time for us to go rest now, it's nice seeing you two again too," Kazhua said before turning around and taking your hand.

"So, after that, do you want to do something else?"

"I think I have something in mind for us to do," you said, beaming him a mischievous smile.

As you and Kazhua walk back to rest. Xiao watches from a far, wishing that you were his again, wishing that he never made those choices. Oh how he miss your gentle smile, your gleaming eyes, and your gentle voice. He deeply regrets everything, but for now, he'll protect and watch you from afar.

I've been crying for 6 days in a row and I badly need the comfort of my favorite genshin boys rn 😭😭

May I request Kazuha, Alhaitham, Heizou, and Childe (separately) with GN!Reader who cries a lot, only when alone and sobbing silently because they're going through a tough time?

It's alright if you won't do this!

He feels awful when he finds out that you've been sobbing by yourself. He didn't even intend to find out this way, respecting your need for privacy and assuming that you were just doing something you didn't want his eyes on. He had no idea that you were just sitting by yourself crying.

Kazuha, Childe, and Heizou immediately wrap you up into his arms. He holds you tightly, whispering soothing words against you as you cry it out. He doesn't talk to you about the fact that you didn't reach out to him or tell him that you were having a hard time. To him, it's more important to comfort you right now and tell you that he's here for you. He wants to convince you to come to him whenever you're feeling troubled, and doesn't want to punish you for not telling him immediately.

Al Haitham takes a second. He's first assessing the situation and trying to figure out quickly if there's something else he might be able to do to help you. Then he wraps you up in his arms, trying to ask you what's wrong and trying to figure out what to tell you. He's more resolution based rather than emotional and to him, giving you a concrete answer on what to do is the better way of helping you.

Regardless, you appreciate the effort that he's going through. You know he's trying his best to make you feel better in a way that's undoubtedly him. It does help you thankfully, finding comfort in his voice and warmth as he keeps you tight against his body.

He holds you until you finally manage to rest, wiping away your tears and offering a gentle smile when you come back to him. He reassures you that your feelings are valid and that he'll be here to keep you company, wanting to make sure that you don't feel this sadness alone.
