In the Name of Tsaritsa - FIN
Tumblr media
FINAL PAGE!!!!!!!!! IT'S DONE!!!!!!!
Thus concludes the tale of how Tsaritsa [Cocolia] became the way she is!
I'm so happy to see this project completed 😄😄😄 i really loved working on it! lots of learning moments related to various digital art tools
I decided to switch from handwritten text to the typed one to show the change in Tsaritsa's attitude? ofc it also looks neater, but i think for all the emotions on the previous pages the handwritten text was quite efficient.
I will be resizing and uploading the comics to insta later this month
Now off to the next project!~

The note at the bottom of the Tower of Ipsissimus is super important,
because it might outline what we will face in Natlan and Snezhnaya. (+ some other thoughts)
Of course, the contents of the note are important already simply because they mention the samsara cycles and the assumed names of ancient civilizations we haven't heard of before (Hyperborea and Natlantean/Natlantia(or Natlantis?)), but I think it is specifically important to focus on how exactly those samsara cycles and their names are related to the stages of possible soul evolution, and what that means for the further plot Genshin. Once again, I assume that the previously unknown names refer to ancient civilizations that existed in the place of current ones:
Hyperborean - loss of paradise - Snezhnaya
Natlantean - defeat of evil dragons - Natlan
Remuria - original sin and baptism - Fontaine
Khraun-Arya - freedom from the gods - Khaenri'ah/Sumeru
From the list above, several conclusions might be speculated:
The Traveler's story progression is in reverse order to the soul's evolution. I don't know what it says about the Traveler or their place in the world, I just find it interesting. It's almost like reading a book from the end to the beginning, I guess. I find it quite peculiar.
Two of the stages are already complete/have come to pass. Khaenri'ah was a nation free of the gods [I put Sumeru alongside Khaneri'ah because I speculate that, in some sense, to Sumeru Khaenri'ah was its own "ancient nation". By that I mean simply that Sumeru literally stands on the ruins of Khaenri'ah in the same way as Watatsumi stands on the ruins of Enkanomiya, and Fontaine stands on the ruins of Remuria (that presumably drowned) (I speculate the same will be true for Snezhnaya and Hyperborea, as well as Natlan and Natlantis(?)]. Otherwise, unlike other nations, Sumeru does not have a close link with Khaenri'ah (for example, I'd call Enkanomiya and Remuria somewhat a "parent state/nation" to current Watatsumi/Fontaine, but that does not work with Khaenri'ah and Sumeru (at least I think it doesn't currently)). To an extent, Sumeru could also be called "a nation without a god" - because the sages refused to accept Nahida as their god. At the same time, in Fontaine we witnessed both the original sin and the act of baptism (Neuvillette forgiving the sins of Fontainians). Thus, I assume that in Natlan we will witness the defeat of evil dragons, and in Snezhnaya we will see the loss of paradise. I assume that even though the stories themselves will not be straightforward, these are the results we might expect from them. Thus, I assume we might face a conflict between multiple parties in Natlan, and will not be able to stop whatever ruination strikes Snezhnaya (or Tsaritsa specifically).
Some other speculations that are worth mentioning that are related to the Narzissenkreuz quests:
Persona piece. It looks suspiciously like the gemstones used to ascend the characters to their highest level. I'm not sure if we all need to be worried about it or not. Personally I find it a bit suspicious. It also makes me think that the Gemstones can be considered Archons' personal Persona pieces (since each Gemstone reflects something, directly related to the Arhchon's ideals).
Heimarmene. I am now 99.8% sure that Visions do, indeed, power The Fate (TM) of the world. My speculation is as follows: the world of Teyvat inevitably goes through samsaras. Samsaras cannot be changed dramatically without an external variable (a Descender). To ensure the smooth running of the samsara, The Fate (TM) issues a Vision to a bearer. The fates of Vision bearers become locked in a way that 1) does not allow for a change to occur; 2) enforces a certain path on the bearer that is similar to the one of a person from the previous samsara. In this way, the samsara keeps running, because The Fate places all the elements into the right places.
Universitas Magistorum was mentioned in-game for the first time, at least for the first time I can recall. I think it is widely speculated to be Khaenri'ahn organization (it is mentioned in the description of the last Outlander Series namecard). I think it is indeed Khaenri'ahn, seeing as they were working on "reversing alchemical stages", "neglecting the fundamental principles of everything", etc. May they forgive me, but it sounds like a very Khaenri'ahn (or very Gold) way of doing things. The reversal of alchemical reactions makes me once again think of the Traveler's journey that is a reversal of soul's evolution (at least compared to the Ordo's notes).
Rhinedottir was called "R" for the first time (once again, in my memory). Just another reminder that she is part of Hexenzirkel.
Paimon, Traveler, and the build up for the separation anxiety. Once again, Pursuit I & II, I'm staring at you directly.
Chicken-Mushroom Skewers, aka [Traveler's gasp] "was this foreshadowing?!". Aka, why are you like this, Mihoyo. What is up with you and the skewers in Ordo's and Ordo-related quests (I'm just putting it here because I liked the reoccurring joke).
Arcadia popped up again (I say as I got reminded that Kaeya mentioned it once (1) so long ago it doesn't feel real).
Four specific concepts kept popping up: Rule(?), Sustain, Destroy, Create. They kept popping up in connection to the Traveler/the concept of the Descender, so I assume that these might be directly related to each of the Descenders. I think that Traveler was mostly mentioned alongside the idea of Creation (somewhere at the end of the Narzissenkreuz quest but I forgot where), so I'm interested to see how other Descenders could be aligned with other concepts (currently I suspect that the First came to rule, the Second came to sustain what was there, the Third was destroyed (and used to create the Gnosis) and the Traveler came to create (re-weave The Fate?). Perhaps each of the Descendants have a power to "chose" from these aspects with which to align themselves (through their actions and attitude), but that's a whole another speculation.
Alright, I think that's it for now. As you can see, I had a lot of thoughts. What great quests these were! Hope more of such interesting stuff will come in the future. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk X)

I made a Genshin OC!
I haven’t got much figured out about him yet, but we DO have a design!!
So…..Meet Andriy, a Snezhnayan electro vision holder.
He’s an affiliate to the Fatui, most likely an underling of one of the harbingers, though I’ve yet to decide which one. I’ll probably decide on who he works under when I figure out his backstory, along with how/why he got his vision etc.
For now, I hope you all just appreciate the design I have for him thus far:
Tumblr media
“Well….You figured me out….Welcome to Snezhnaya, Traveller.” - Andriy
This line would probably be said upon the Traveller and Paimon figuring out that he is affiliated with the Fatui. He probably either assumed it was a given, or that he hoped that they’d never have to find out.
I doubt everyone in Snezhnaya is likely to be part of the Fatui, it just so happens that Andriy is and it’s most likely due to the fact that he actually has a vision. I thought it would be good for story purposes.

where is the tsaritsa finding these harbingers goddamn bc so far we have:
a royal mage from khaenriah
capitano (no spoilers but those who played 5.1 you know what i mean)
evil very intelligent doctor who experiments with god remains and dabbles in educational crimes, (DO NOT let him near children)
columbina.
a cursed child from a thought-extinct khaenriahn bloodline with shadow fire blood ish magic who runs an orphanage
a politician
the inazuman puppet made by a traumatised god who got discarded by said god, who went on to join the fatui out of spite and grief, almost brought inazuma to its knees, stole a gnosis, made himself a god, then erased himself from history and went to uni
lady and her svarog who we know nothing about except that she created katherine which could be either very wholesome or very sinister
mondstadtian crimson witch of flames 'im the only one around here who gets shit done' la signora (R.I.P)
a banker
local guy in his mid twenties who fell in a hole as a child, went briefly to hell, came back feral and probably traumatised, has a heart of gold but also an 'i want to fight god at every opportunity' complex. was ready to sink a nation bc the hot god said so, and bro can also turn into an 8ft strangely hot abyssal creature and fought an intergalactic all powerful world devouring whale for like 40 days straight.

Please Consider: Yan! Diluc with a darling he met in Snezhnaya, she helped and comforted him, sharing food, letting him stay with her etc. The two end up parting ways.... only for her to move to Mondstadt 2 years later!
A Tale of Reunion and Obsession
Pairing: Yandere Diluc x Snezhnayan Reader
The cold winds of Snezhnaya had never been kind to outsiders. Diluc knew this better than anyone.
He had left Mondstadt with nothing but grief and anger, his father’s death still a fresh wound, the warmth of home replaced with the bitter bite of vengeance. It was in this unforgiving land that he found himself wandering, his body exhausted, his resolve pushing him forward through the relentless snowstorms.
And then, he met you.
You had found him, a lone figure struggling against the snow, a man who refused to ask for help.
But you had offered it anyway.
"Come inside before you freeze to death."
You had said it so simply, as if it was the easiest thing in the world to extend kindness to a stranger. To him.
For the first time in what felt like years, Diluc hesitated. He did not trust easily. He could not afford to. But you had smiled—warm despite the cold world around you—and he had felt something in his chest tighten.
And so, he followed you.
Into your small home, into the warmth of a fire that wasn’t his own, into a world where, for a brief moment, he was not alone.
You shared your food with him, placing a steaming bowl in front of him without hesitation.
"Eat. You look like you need it."
He had not spoken much at first, his words frozen on his tongue. But you had spoken enough for both of you, talking about small things, about life in Snezhnaya, about the people who came and went, about the things that made you laugh.
And somehow, he listened.
He let your voice fill the silence that had become his constant companion.
He let your presence seep into his thoughts, into the cracks of his weary heart.
And when he finally spoke, you listened. You listened to his grief, to the pain he carried, to the anger that burned beneath his skin.
You did not flinch when he admitted what he had lost.
You did not turn away when he confessed his hatred for the Fatui, for the very nation he had found himself in.
"Not all of us follow them, you know."
He had looked at you then, truly looked at you, as if searching for a lie.
But you had only smiled.
And for the first time in a long time, his anger did not consume him.
He stayed with you for a few nights, resting, recovering.
Every morning, you would wake before him, already preparing food, already making sure the fire was still burning.
And every night, you would talk to him, coaxing words from him, softening the edges of his rage.
He had not known what to make of you.
You were not a warrior. You were not someone who fought battles in the dead of night.
You were simply kind.
And that terrified him more than any enemy he had faced.
Because kindness was dangerous.
You were dangerous.
And so, when it was time for him to leave, he did not allow himself to look back.
He did not allow himself to thank you properly, to tell you that you had given him something he thought he had lost forever.
Warmth.
Home.
And then he was gone.
Two years passed.
Two long years where he convinced himself it was just a memory. A passing kindness from a stranger he would never meet again.
And then, one evening, he walked into Mondstadt’s tavern—and there you were.
Sitting at the bar, your back to him, laughing softly as you spoke with the bartender.
His heart stopped.
It was impossible. It couldn’t be you.
But it was.
His hands clenched, his breath caught in his throat, his entire body stiff with an emotion so foreign to him that it terrified him.
Why were you here?
Why Mondstadt?
Why now?
He watched as you thanked the bartender, standing from your seat, preparing to leave—
And something inside him snapped.
"Wait."
The word was out before he could stop it.
You turned, confused at first, but then—
Recognition.
Your eyes widened.
"Diluc?"
His name on your lips was like flames licking at his skin.
You smiled, eyes filled with something soft, something gentle.
"It’s been so long… I never thought I’d see you again."
He couldn’t move. He couldn’t breathe.
And then you stepped closer, and it was over.
He had lost himself again.
Your return to his life was nothing short of fate.
At least, that was what he told himself.
You belonged here. You belonged with him.
He wasted no time inserting himself into your days—finding reasons to see you, to speak with you, to keep you close.
And at first, it was innocent.
You were happy to see him again, eager to catch up, unaware of the way his eyes never left you, of the way his hands twitched to hold you still.
He would listen, quietly, as you spoke of your decision to move, of how you wanted to experience a life beyond the cold of Snezhnaya.
"Mondstadt is so warm compared to what I'm used to," you had laughed, stretching your arms toward the sky.
Warm.
Yes, it was warm.
But no warmth compared to you.
He could still feel the ghost of that night—the scent of burning wood, the softness of your touch as you had adjusted his coat, the quiet hum of your voice.
And he needed it again.
No—he needed more.
Because now that you were here, in his city, in his reach—
He would never let you go.
The idea of you leaving again was unthinkable.
"I’m glad you’re here," he told you one evening, his voice quiet, his gloved fingers barely brushing against yours.
You smiled. Oblivious.
"I’m glad too."
His heart ached.
No, you didn’t understand.
You didn’t realize that he had already decided.
You were his.
You had always been his.
And if you ever tried to leave him again—
He would not be so kind.

nod-krai & snezhnaya predictions
(includes info from the recently released artifact sets)
A world quest related to Treasure Hoarders that explains why their insignia is possibly connected to nightingale & why this emblem may look like spiral abyss on the map (and whether they're connected with dottore, no i will not let it go)
Tsaritsa is the daughter of the Winter/Belyi Tsar [who is most likely a Grandfather Frost figure] and is thus a fae and is thus Snegurochka
Sandrone mentioned/shown one way or the other in Nod-Krai
A Sampo Koski character in Voynich Guild
Snezhnaya & Khaenri'ah connections through Hyperborea??? Possibly???
Wild Hunt as the abyssal organization above/opposed to the Abyss Order
Scarlet's Teacher is a fae and shows up in Nod-Krai's story (Hexenzirkel)
The figure connected with the Adventurer's Guild is either Katya the first/original Katherine/the Katherine who is separated from the rest of the network (gained independence) [?], or Sandrone [who I assume is the creator of Katherines]
may be updated later

Childe is a family man.
Of course he loves his current family—so much that he spoils them everytime he comes home to Snezhnaya.
But recently he’s come to a point where he’s thought of making a family of his own. Sadly, he’s been too busy with his work as a harbinger to even find someone he wants to get to know better.
That all changed though when he saw you comforting Teucer at the lake nearby his family cabin.
When he came to the lake, he wasn’t expecting hearing the sad sobs of his younger brother Teucer. Instinctively, he began to run through the snowy terrain and towards where the cries were coming from.
There he saw you, panicking and reassuring Teucer (albeit timidly). Teucer had clung to you, hugging you tightly as he cried his eyes out on your shoulder, and there you were—knelt to the young ginger’s height as you embraced him, softly patting his back to soothe whatever was ailing him.
Something ticked inside Childe’s head, and before he knew it he was walking towards you with a glint of interest in his eyes.
Childe called out to Teucer, and Teucer let go of you to rush over to his older brother. It put a smile on Childe’s face knowing he was still his younger brother’s favorite. You stood up, and both of you introduced each other.
You say that you were new, having just moved into the neighborhood from Liyue. Currently, you began to work as a tutor for the neighborhood kids, adding that you’ve always liked kids and wanted to help and see them grow up. It gave you such a fulfilling experience.
Oh, you had no idea how that statement made Childe’s blood rush to his head… and pants.
He smiled, saying that he also liked kids, his younger brother Teucer in particular. He asks how you managed to meet Teucer since he usually just stays inside playing with the Mr. Cyclops toys that Childe gave him everytime he returned. You reply that you visited his family cabin because his mother invited you over after helping her with some groceries before.
Teucer randomly began to mention how his brother was single—much to his own brother’s surprise. Who taught him that? Childe thought as he awkwardly laughs it off in front of you, though he secretly hoped you’d take interest in such a topic.
Before any of you could even say another thing, Teucer began to go off again, talking to his brother how pretty you were, and how he liked and wanted you to be another one of his big sisters. You were flattered of course and chuckled at the cute ramblings of the kid.
You asked Childe if this was a normal thing, and Childe responded that he doesn’t usually do this. You began to talk to each other, and Teucer seemed to notice how the two of you got a long so well so quickly.
So he asked you the million dollar question.
“Hey, will you marry my big brother Ajax?” He asks abruptly, stunning you and Childe momentarily.
A blush forms on your cheeks as you began to laugh bashfully, scratching your cheeks with a finger, unsure of how to respond to the child without sounding too bad.
“Uhm… Teucer, we just met.” You say to the young boy.
“But you’ll marry him, right?” He seemed so excited at the thought, and Childe was as well, though he decided to laugh it off.
“Teucer, don’t get too excited now. No one’s rushing for me to get married.” Childe tells his younger brother kindly, though Teucer only pouts.
Oh, but the plans that Childe began to have in his head after Teucer mentioned marriage. He definitely saw a possibility that he could spend a future with you.
Maybe give him some time, get to know him. You’ll definitely find yourself spoiled rotten in the future by this handsome Snezhnayan bachelor.
