Any headcanon ideas on how a worldless/sky cotl crossover would look like?
For example, how much Edda and Aven communicate to the sky kids via chirps.
Not too sure, since the fanfic is actually @chaosandtoomuchideas' own!
But maybe the Duo's chirps sounds like bells? But Edda's chirp is slightly lower pitched than Aven's.
Also I have zero clue how to duo get to other places... so they get capes!

How much is calliope able to tell sindri of the Greek world?
So far, she hasn't really told him a lot about Greece, except that she's from Sparta, and a bit about the creation of humans in Greek mythology XDD I think Sindri's spent more time telling her stories about Midgard, specifically dwarf legends and his memories of Faye!
Speaking of, it's been a while since I shared a snippet of the fic, hasn't it? Below is a little piece of Sindri and Calliope sharing stories; for context, they're at Sindri's hideout in Svartalfheim, and Calliope's been visiting him at his forge just to chat and spend time together :D
âI thought of an old dwarf legend to tell you,â he offered. âWant to hear it?â
âYes!â Calliope piped. âWhat kind of story is it?â
He smiled slightly. âItâs about the first ruler of the dwarves âŠâ
Sindri went on to tell her about Durinn, the first dwarf ever created, and how he founded many great kingdoms and wielded the strongest of all hammers. Durinn made many manikins out of the earth, which were given life by the gods, becoming humans. Other dwarves evolved from the maggots that ate the first Giantâs flesh, and they all formed Durinnâs clan.
âMaggots!â Calliope repeated, failing to repress a shudder. âI wouldnât want to come from a maggot!â
âThen what would you come from?â Sindri asked, amused. âWould you rather be made from the earth?â
âThatâs what we say in my homeland,â Calliope said. âThe first humans were made from clay. At least with clay, you can sculpt it any way you want!â
That was true. And at one point, Sindri had been just as disgusted by the maggot legend as she was.
He told her a few other stories, having thought up a very short list of all the happy ones, or at least those that didnât end badly. Calliope hung on his every word, asking questions and poking for more details. Like, what did Durinn do in his leisure time? Did he make weapons like Sindri? Or did he build other things? And the famous alchemist Ivaldi, wasnât he ever worried about making a mess with his experiments? Did he ever take a break? If his sons were always helping him, maybe that was their idea of family time!
Her chattering drudged up memories of the past â Atreus, around Calliopeâs height, pestering Sindri with questions of dwarven history. Sindri saw him in his mindâs eye, perched on the edge of the worktable, idly swinging his feet.
I really wanna see Svartalfheim someday, Atreus chattered on. If its tower ever opens up, will you show me around? I wanna meet all the dwarves and learn their stories!
Sindri shook himself. That time was long past. Atreus finally got around to seeing Svartalfheim, though Sindri wasnât able to give him a tour. Even if he could, there wasnât much to show, or many dwarves to meet, given how theyâd all shunned him at the time.
Then again ⊠Maybe Calliope wouldnât mind seeing more of Svartalfheim. She certainly seemed interested in Niðavellir, far below the mountain they stood on. One day, perhaps, Sindri could show her around there.
Calliope eventually grew bored of engraving practice and helped Sindri around the forge instead. Once he finished his current project (a very sturdy shield), she offered to sing the Thrymskviða for him.
Calliopeâs music was an entirely different experience from listening to dwarf music. Hel, Sindri was tempted to put it on Fayeâs level, and he considered Fayeâs voice to be high art in itself. Calliopeâs voice was pure and clear, like water from a mountain spring, or the snow glistening on Midgardâs peaks. Her magic lay just beneath the surface, waiting to be used, but she didnât need it; the story of the Thrymskviða unfolded in his mind like painted murals moving on wooden panels. He saw King Thrym stealing Mjölnir while Thor slept, followed by Thorâs rage, and the Aesirâs meeting to discuss solutions ⊠And the song ended.
Sindri blinked, coming out of his daze. âThereâs more, isnât there?â
âYes, but I havenât practiced the next verses as much,â Calliope said, embarrassed. âI didnât want to mess them up here.â
âEven if you did, Iâm sure youâd still sound great. You, uh, you really have a voice.â
Calliopeâs cheeks flushed red. âThank you.â

How much do you miss ashrahâs iconic hat, especially for mk 1?
Which is more interesting: skarlet as a blood construct, or a street urchin Shao khan taught blood magic to?
I miss Ashrah's hat a moderate amount, it was her defining feature buuut it did also get her accusations of being a Raiden clone. I thibk her new look is beautiful and her gameplay has gotten a really interesting rework so I can live without the hat, though I hope she at least has an alt skin with it
I much prefer Skarlet being a blood construct, it's just cooler and weirdly enough makes more sense. Like why would Shao Kahn bother with a random orphan? "She showed fight/spirit" okay what did she do kill someone in front of him?? Idk man I can't see it lol. But like her being a construct literally made to fight for him tracks, he's been known to do that. I don't necessarily hate the retcon to be clear lol but I do just think it's Odd

I'm not sure Magdalene would feel it was necessary. They're visually really similar and both CCs. At what point is it needed to do any more confirmation than that?
Just realized how weird it had to be when Morgan/Megatron and Magdalene/Megaempress first meet. Almost that doppelganger feeling but not quite.
OH MAN YEAH and Megs would have the weird hopeful/anguished flutter in his stomach of âI⊠could still have family out there?â after losing Terminus and alienating Impactor.
Makes me wonder how Magdalene feels about the potential of being related to this warlord everyone keeps harping on about too 8U

Just thinking of when I was asked if there was a Shadows of Rose story in the RE village AU by @gennethapang
I did more thinking and I would have to say that I could see the role of Rose be shared by both Mariposa AND Meteora.
Like, they both end up in the last remaining conscious/dimension of the megamycete because Belos is trying a last ditch attempt at coming back to life to continue his work. Unfortunately for everyone, BILL is also in there too.
But I could see Meteora sharing some of Roseâs issues in a certain way and trying to come to terms with the events that she would barely recall as an infant. That she was the least human looking of the âdaughtersâ and thus the most looked down upon by âBelos.â That she could have turned out horribly different had she not been so lucky to be surrounded by family both in blood and in name.
Meanwhile Mariposa is there for moral support. But maybe Belos has an eye on her for his own reasons.
But of course, both girls have to deal with the horrors that were experienced in the DLC. (And given who owns the house of Benevento equivalent, thereâs some added amusement to the whole thing for me.) Cue lots of screaming, cursing, and hugging each other for dear life.
Also, I imagine Meteora was told about how much of a shit Bill was, so heâs none too happy to see that his favorite ânieceâ isnât as friendly to him as she was when she was a baby.

#didn't know landline phones can work with iphones
Unless I missed something in the video, you could legitimately use a phone from the 1800s and it would work with an iPhone. The number itself is static.

Does calliope sometimes have nightmares of kratos killing her and her mom, as well as what happened in Elysium?
She definitely does, especially at the beginning of the story! The nightmare scenes of her death, and what happened after in Elysium, are pretty much the same as in the games. As the story progresses, Calliope has fewer nightmares, though they do evolve to include Atreus instead of Kratos, highlighting Calliope's fear of being abandoned by / losing her brother.
I did expand a little bit on the Elysium nightmares, though! I'll share some of it; I left out the first half of the dream sequence, but the context is that Thanatos is so furious about Persephone's demise that he starts visiting Calliope in Elysium. Also, she and Atreus are currently in Athens XDD
You can find the snippet below! I hope y'all enjoy :DDD
_____
Time passed, or perhaps none went by at all. It was the waiting that hurt most. It set an ache in her chest as she hoped and prayed to no avail. She waited for Father, alone and afraid. At times she heard the souls whispering to each other on the far shore, speaking horrid words about Father, and about herself.
But Thanatos had the most horrid words of all. âYou deserve to be alone, little beast that you are,â he said with utter disgust. âOnly a monster like your father could sire one. Well, girl? You said he would come for you. Where is he now?â
Calliope said nothing. She couldnât even bear to look at him. She didnât want to look into those horrible dark eyes or see the thin lips curled in a sneer.
âPathetic mouse. Your uncle had more fire in him at your age. You should not be here in Elysium. You should receive the judgement you so rightly deserve for being Kratosâ seed. I would see to it that you get more than what I gave to Deimos.â
He reached for her. Calliope screamed, and remembered nothing more from that meeting.
Thanatosâ visits were few and far between, yet Calliope dreaded his arrival with every passing hour. After he left, she could still feel the echo of his gaze on her, watching from the shadows behind the trees.
Father will come for me. It was the only thought that gave her some hope and comfort. She could only wait. And wait. And wait.
Calliope woke with a gasp. Her hand tightened on something firm â an arm? âAh â Atreus!â
âMmph?â he mumbled. âUff ⊠Five more minutes âŠâ
Calliope crawled over to his side. There wasnât much distance between them, but it felt like a yawning chasm. âAtreus?â she whispered.
âUng ⊠Calliope?â Atreus yawned. âDid you ⊠dream again?â
Calliope tried to respond, but a lump formed in her throat, clogging up the words. Tendrils of fear from her dream still held her tight. She could only hold onto his arm as she waited for them to fall away.
Atreus shifted over a little. âWant to lie down?â
Calliope was all too eager to take the offer. It sounded far better than lying on a pallet by herself. And Atreus was very comfortable to lean against.
She settled herself against his side and laid her head on his shoulder. âIs this okay?â she whispered.
âFine with me,â Atreus said, sounding a little more clear now that he was waking up.
Calliope tucked her face against him, feeling the ridge of his collarbone through the linen tunic. âIâm sorry,â she mumbled, softer than a breath. Any tears she carried were soaked up by his clothes.
His arm curled around her awkwardly as he attempted to pat her shoulder. He settled for her arm instead. âItâs okay. Donât worry. I have âem too.â
That was a surprise. How could someone as brave as Atreus have bad dreams? âWhat kinds?â Calliope asked, unable to help her curiosity.
Atreus was quiet for a bit. âMy family dying. Being left alone.â
His words tugged at something deep in Calliopeâs heart. More tears leaked out as she wrapped her arm across his chest. âI donât want to be alone either.â
âI know. You wonât be.â

I'm slowly reading it. Up to chapter 22 as of now!
It's actually better than I was expecting :D I'm not interested much in human AUs (generally AUs that remove the uniqueness of a setting), but this one captures the vibe of the pilot to a T! Definitely interesting to read it after the show has come out, and comparing the different characterizations (ah, Lilith being supportive, lol and lmao)
Alastor is brilliant here. He strikes the perfect balance between creepy predator who has marked Charlie as his next prey and genuine protective gentleman who might be catching a bad case of the Feelings and he wants out before it's too late. Charlie is also absolutely perfect, and I love the emphasis on her inner strength more than her idealism - that is what makes her special to Alastor.
@gennethapang thank you again for the recommendation, this is the dynamic i was looking for <3
If youâre looking for a great Charlastor ship to read, I recommend the 1930s au fanfiction Smiling Man. It was created a few years before the showâs release outside of the pilot. But it shows how interestingly messed up said relationship between Charlie and alastor is, as well as how it ends with implosion.
Hmmm. If you wish, on a scale of 1-10. One being nope, and 10 being heck yeah. How much do you want to be recommended some charlastor ships fanfiction or art?
80 chapters... well, I'll be busy lol. Thank you!
Anyway uhhhhhhhhhh 8 for the fanart, 5 for fanfics. Fanfics are a harder investment, and I sadly am extremely picky about the things I like and don't like, esp if the ship is popular enough that I can afford to be lmao đ fanart is fine, though! Thank you for the offer <3

On what level are you interested in god of war, especially concerning the two most recent games?
I'll be honest y'all I have a really hard time actually sticking to games that aren't fighting games or (mainline) Pokemon, so I'll rarely play anything else unless there's something about them that really hooks me. And even then I often don't finish and I just watch a let's play to know how it ends
So anyway yeah idk much about God of War

Self-Rec Tag Game
Rules: Share five of your own fanworks (fic, art, etc.). Then, tag five more people to share the things theyâve made.
Iâve put categories below, but theyâre more guidelines than rules.
1. Something you absolutely adore 2. Something that was challenging to create 3. Something that makes you laugh (or smile, if that fits more comfortably) 4. Something that surprised you (in how it turned out, how much other people liked it, etc.) 5. Something you want other people to see
Tagged by the awesome @cao-the-dreamerâ!
1. Something you absolutely adore

Still stand by this as one of the most spectacular pieces of WWE fanart Iâve ever created feat. The one and only Mustafa Ali, and one I actually got signed by him during 2018âČs Wrestlemania! 2. Something that was challenging to create

PERSPECTIVE IS NOT MY STRONG SUIT and I procrastinated on this piece for @allsparkzinesâ like ALL HELL but Iâm glad I dragged my feet to answer the challenge at the end of the day!
3. Something that makes you laugh (or smile, if that fits more comfortably)Â

I am SO TORN about actually cleaning this up to make a proper reaction image, but something about the roughness and unfinished lines feels like it adds to whatever chaotic unhingedness heâs reacting to. 4. Something that surprised you (in how it turned out, how much other people liked it, etc.)
This was an interesting case because prior to 2014 it felt like there wasnât much ado about WWE fanart and I THOUGHT it was just me who HAD FEELS that needs to be put down in paper in artistic, storytelling fashion and so I drew this rough piece after Seth Rollinsâ betrayal of his brothers in The Shield, with old him desperately trying to reach out for Roman and new, corporate him holding old him back because that man is dead, and it got SO MUCH LOVE that it made me realise that was a BIG untapped market for story-based wrestling fanart!
5. Something you want other people to see

HELLO NEWCOMERS! Here is a Quintesson Judge without their armor as depicted in Ties That Bind. Sleep tight! OuObÂ
Tagging @elfdragon12â @wolf-maskâ @jupiterartsuvuâ @nova-bluesâ and @gennethapangâ ONLY if yâall feel like it đđŒ

Thinking about tarantulas in earthspark, I feel black arachnia shouldâve been playing the role. A bot who trusts neither autobot nor decepticon fits well. Especially works since tfa black arachniaâs shown to know her way with science. Seriously, we couldâve had a mom/mentor figure for nightshade. I donât know if weâll even see tarantulas play mad scientist. At most, he just wanted to make a holomatter avatar and wipe memories of humans who get too close.
TFA Blackarachnia was not very well written and not as successful a scientist or techie as the OG Blackarachnia. The OG could keep up with Tarantulas, outsmarting him in certain places. TFA Blackarachnia constantly had to be saved. OG Blackarachnia *let* Silverbolt save her from falling into the ravine.
She, like Rattrap, is not done proper justice outside of Beast Wars. Here's a reminder that, though the graphics and rendering are very dated, Beast Wars animation holds up pretty well and it literally has some of the best writing in the entire franchise.
Anyway! You could leave the writing of the episode almost exactly the same and it would still fit Blackarachnia.

@gennethapang i wanted you to know that your tags here made me laugh thats honestly kind of how I feel sometimes
my dad is an evil evil person but he's also so stupid to a degree that feels like parody. I forget if I told the story on here yet where when I was 10 him and my dumbass brother got a boat that was in washington for some reason and they tried to sail it back to california and ended up in canada. when he called my mom to tell her where he was she called the canadian coast guard on him and actually I think he ended up getting arrested for some reason? anyways they took my brothers girlfriend and they broke up on the trip and I got to have her DS Lite which was exciting

I donât know if youâll see this, but I think Courtneyâs and fingerâs history runs deeper than we know, and will be explored in season 3. Seriously, I think Courtney ran a rebellion or did something that pissed fingers off in a personal way.
Oh I DEFINITELY think there's a lot more to it than Courtney's divulging. Courtney was terrified when Fingers came out of the elevator- and she knew who and what Fingers was. She makes a break for it and tries to get help- when does Courtney ever willingly ask for help? Ever??- and even hides in the rafters to avoid them, to the point she almost watched her friends get murdered.
There's also Fingers' power to give life. It's a great power, but it's clearly one they use entirely for fun. I mean, we all saw the butterfly, right? Fingers killed it just to bring it back to life. And they didn't seem inherently vindictive- they seem fascinated, as if in awe of what they can do. And Courtney straight-up says that she expects to be "punished" when Fingers appears for losing her cuffs. That feels like a terrifying, loaded cocktail.
If this was a one-off meeting, Courtney likely wouldn't even remember Fingers. We see how spotty her memory is constantly! She doesn't remember where she's from, what she did, etc etc. Fingers has clearly come to Earth before- and they likely did something shitty to Courtney during her confinement there. And if Fingers (and the angels) weren't tapped into fucking everything, being omniscient and all, I'm sure she'd be happy to spill that tea and get Fingers out of her house- but she can't, and she won't risk her friends OR herself.
