CLOSED STARTER - Genevieve and Elliot @thenxghtwemxt
She was so close to Aurora that she didn't know or want to understand how Elliot and Maceon could be feeling losing their sister. It was one thing to think that they had all lost Maceon all those years ago but now to hear of Martina's death on the same boat that carried her sister and both of her cousins? She had been beside herself when she found out, and when she arrived in Brazil she'd made it a point to see him and condole with him.
She found him in the Spanish chambers and while she'd been advised and warned not to go, she needed to see her family and make sure they were okay. "Elliot," she said gently, placing a hand on his shoulder to alert him to the fact that she was there, interrupting whatever thoughts consumed his mind as he looked out the big windows. "How are you doing?"

"In our control or not, it seems like a very deliberate choice to have us here separated from everyone else in our Court," Genevieve murmured, hating the fact that she separated from Cedric and the fact that it had painted a target on her family's back and they had no part in this. Taking the cup of tea, though still glaring at Elliot she took small sips, shaking her head. "Surely there is something more we can do than offer food and drink when they are trapped in god knows what kind of conditions,"
"No one asks for anything like this. Alas, it is not always in our control." For better or for worse, the Orleans Princesses were privy to a less bloody civil war than that of Spain. But if current events is anything to go by, their own reckoning is just beginning. "You can do what you do best." He suggests, pouring himself a cup of tea. "You can be graceful and charitable. Step down into the prison cells with food, drink, words of comfort." Elliott sighs, pouring Genevieve her own cup of tea. Clearly, she needed it. "If you can ease their resentment, they will not harm you."

Game of Thrones AU - Lucy x Tommy
As with The Hunger Games AU, it'll be awhile until I am able to actually turn this into a full fledged fic. So I'm gonna give you all some of my ideas here instead. Obviously if you don't want to be spoiled for when I do eventually write a full thing out of this for them, don't read ahead.
Lucy Bolton
Firstborn of Victor Bolton and Genevieve Tully, the eldest sister of Theodore, Elliot, Patrick, and William Bolton.
Despite her father's best attempts, Lucy maintained a tomboyish spirit.
A lover of horseback riding and archery, she could often be found riding amongst the woods surrounding their castle of Dreadfort, with her several trusty dogs in tow.
She showed an interest in ruling from an early age, but was mostly shut out from anything to do with it by her father.
During the particularly cold seasons, her mother would take her on trips with her to Riverrun, hoping that the influence of her family would help to lessen the damage her father's cruelty would have on her.
Lucy became close with her Tully family members, to the point that she identifies more as a Tully than a Bolton.
Tommy Targaryen
The second Targaryen son
Tommy was often treated as a black sheep, both by some of his family and the common people, due to him lacking traditional Targaryen looks.
Rumors often circulated about him being a bastard.
Often butts heads with others at court.
Despite this, he and Arthur are close, with Arthur giving him a significant position at court.
I feel like Arthur would likely make him hand of the king at some point.
Tommy often makes a habit of visiting other places in the kingdom to check in on things.
His dragon's name is Syndor (meaning shadow in High Valyrian). He is huge and fearsome looking, with pitch black scales that make him almost invisible at night. He has lots of sharp spines all over particularly his back. Tommy claimed him at a young age.
Tommy has the strongest bond with his dragon out of all of his siblings.
Tommy loves dragons and would have liked to have worked with them had he not had his princely duties.
Tommy loves flying on Syndor and will often take him out flying when he needs to think or just wants to be alone.
Lucy x Tommy
During one of his annual visits to the north, Lucy caught the eye of Prince Thomas Targaryen.
It did not take long for Tommy to start to court her, and he began to make more and more visits to the north in order to see her.
They managed to keep their relationship a secret, despite Lucy's constant nighttime visits to Tommy's bedchambers when he stayed at Dreadfort, or the moon tea she would consume afterwards.
Her fascination with his dragon (not a euphemism) made Tommy fall even harder for her. Syndor adores her and will often try to nuzzle at her.
Tommy would take Lucy out flying on Syndor often, both during and after their courtship.
Just as Tommy was preparing to convince his family to allow him to marry Lucy, her father promised her away to Matthew Lannister, the cruel heir to Casterly Rock.
Despite Genevieve's attempts to dissuade him from the match, Victor was against Lucy marrying Tommy due to his status as a second son, and questions that had been raised about his legitimacy as a Targaryen.
Genevieve wrote to Tommy informing him of Victor and Matthew's plans, and he flew to Dreadfort, arriving but a day before the wedding was to take place.
He and Lucy were married hastily that night by the heart tree, with Genevieve as a witness and Lucy's brother Teddy taking the place of her father as the one to give her away.
A fight nearly broke out the next day once Victor and Matthew were made aware of what happened.
Victor tried to disown Lucy.
She flew with Tommy back to King's Landing.
Victor would continue to cause problems. Every time he does so, Tommy suggests (only half joking) that they feed him to Syndor.
Polly nearly had an aneurysm when she found out that Tommy had gotten married, since she had been scheming to marry him off to a noblewoman at court.
This caused some issues and original awkwardness with Lucy and the rest of the family, but Arthur warmed to her fast and Tommy advocated for her to have a place on the council alongside him.
Okay that's probably more than enough for now! I might post more later and I've got some moodboards I'll share with you all soon as well.
Tagging my moots how have been playing in this AU with me!

Australia WTF?
By Genevieve Gluck August 27, 2024
A city councillor in Hobart, Australia, is under investigation for a social media post describing a trans-identified male as a “man.” Louise Elliot, who was previously the subject of a tribunal inquiry for saying “trans women are men,” was previously the victim of threats from the very individual who reported her for “misgendering” him.
On July 24, Elliot announced via her X account that she was being subjected to yet another investigation, this time for labeling a trans-identified male who threatened to assault her as a “man.” The incident had occurred the day before while Elliot was campaigning at a shopping center. The man, who cannot yet be named, reportedly walked by Elliot and told her “I’m going to rip you to shreds.”
On X, Elliot says the individual was overtly male in appearance and behavior.
“I described them as a man as that’s what I saw; an obvious male person with heavy male build, male jawline, male gait, male voice, and definitely male aggression,” Elliot wrote. “This person threatened me, and now I’m the one being investigated for ‘misgendering.’ There was no visible name badge, no ‘transwoman’ tattooed on forehead. I have lawyered up to fight this, again.”

By Genevieve Gluck August 26, 2024
An Australian “trans inclusive” Premier League women’s football team with five male players has secured victory in the grand final match after dominating games throughout the summer. During the 2024 season of the North West Sydney Football Women’s Premier Competition, The Flying Bats won all 17 games and scored 76 goals while only a total of 8 points were scored against them.
The Flying Bats, a football club for “self-identified women and non-binary people,” has attracted significant criticism that has escalated over the past year. The mounting outcry presumably motivated the decision by regulators to ramp up security measures during the Women’s Premier League grand final game on Sunday, which they won, 5-4, over West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook Football Club.

The disassembly drones' former names
I figured that I would share this headcanon with all of you sooner or later. You know each of the disassembly drones’ serial designations? Well, what if their letters were based off their former names back when they were worker drones? And I’m not talking about the first letter of their names. I’m talking about the name of the letter in each of their names. For example, N’s former name was probably either Kenneth, Bennett, or Leonard, and V’s former name probably either Venus, Vivian, or Genevieve. J’s former name was probably either Jamie or Jane, the latter of which I was initially going for Mary Jane (yes, the same name as the famous supporting character from Spider-Man). I’m unsure about CYN or Cynthia, though, largely because that she probably died long before the events of the series that she wasn’t converted into a disassembly drone. Besides, for all we know, she was going on a crazy, murderous rampage that she had to be put down. And if she was converted into a disassembly drone, her designation might be either C from the first letter of her name or T from a phonetic of her name (Cynthia).
The former names should go as followed:
A – Ada, Eva, Avery, Abraham, Adrian
B – Beatrice, Bianca, Phoebe; Sabine
C – Caesar, Cecil, Casey
D – Diesel, Delia, Deanna, Heidi, Nadine
E – Edith, Eden, Elaine, Ian
F – Efrem, Jeffrey, Stephanie
G – Giovanni, Georgina, Regina, Eugene
H – Rachel, Horatio
I – Isaac, Ivan, Isaiah, Ivy, Iris
J – Jane, Jamie, Jayden
K – Katie, Kayla, Casey
L – Eleanor, Elliot, Elias, Elvis, Elmer; Bella, Angelica, Melanie, Danielle, Michelle; Denzel
M – Emma, Emerald, Emmett, Emmerich, Clementine
N – Kenneth, Bennett, Benedict, Leonard, Henry
O – Ophelia, Olivia, Odette, Opal
P – Peter, Penelope
Q – Cueball, Queue
R – Archie, Armand, Charles, Harley
S – Essence, Estelle, Esther, Jessica, Lester, Marquess
T – Christina, Valentina, Misty
U – Ulysses, Unity, Eunice, Eustace
V – Venus, Vivian, Genevieve
W – Winston, Wilson
X – Xavier, Rex, Alexander
Y – Wyatt, Wyvern, Wyoming
Z – Ezekiel, Lindsay, Suzie
I also want to share that I used to have a theory that J, N, and V used to be regular secretary drones before being converted into disassembly drones, as well as my former headcanon that N used to be friends with his assigned human coworker.
Anyway, that’s all I have for this headcanon for now. This might be re-edited soon, but if you’d like to add in some additions, feel free to do so in the replies and reblogs. You can use this list as an outline for your OCs if you want. And I’ll see you all next time.
P.S. If Uzi were to transform into a disassembly drone, should her designation be either U or Z?

"Oh you call this performance having it down to a practical art?" Genevieve asked, raising an eyebrow at the way her cousin was speaking to her, choosing to believe it was the grief talking. Remaining steadfast in her resolve to remain where she was despite his haughty remarks seeming like a thinly veiled attempt to drive her away with his behaviour, she just stood there, arms threatening to cross over and start ringing Elliot's smug neck. "If you truly want the crown that you are claiming to already have in your possession, you're going to have to stop acting like a complete ass." she knew she was speaking plainly, and her own mother would have been shocked at it, but if he was going to act like an ass she would not bat an eye at being honest with him. "You know that's not what I'm saying, Elliot." she insisted, sighing and walking closer to him. "All I'm saying is, you're acting like you're going at this alone, but isn't Martina's death enough for you to see that you only have one brother left? One person who is going through all of this just as you are. Don't you want any semblance of peace after the horrors of what Martina had to endure?"
"Believe me, cousin. It is the furthest thing from business as usual." No, Martina's death is the first in the year since The Reckoning. The loss of his sister rocking the foundation of the Bonaparte resurgence. "Unless you count grieving one's siblings. I have that to a practical art, at this point." He says, a laugh of dark mirth. He's done this song and dance before, and despite Genevieve's best efforts, it feels hollow to mourn twice over. No, it's been wasted on another love another sibling. "Indeed, Gen. The crown. Some of us still have one," he says, with intentional cheek and a dowse of cruelty. After all, how successful were the Orleans in keeping their own? At the very least, his is there to take. "Shall I start weeping openly in court?" He presses on. "Will that satisfy?"

Stating biological facts is not hate
By Genevieve Gluck. December 8, 2023
A Hobart City Council member is under investigation by the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner for “inciting hatred” after declaring “trans women are men.” Louise Elliot is now facing a costly formal inquiry by the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal in a case which has the potential to restrict freedom of speech. If the tribunal rules against Elliot, she may be ordered to publicly apologize and pay a fine of up to $4,000.
In March, Elliot attended a Let Women Speak demonstration organized by Standing for Women and led by British women’s rights campaigner Kellie Jay-Keen. The event was intended to provide women with a platform to express their concerns or criticisms of gender ideology.
As part of a prepared speech she gave during the event, Elliot stated that it was impossible to change sex, that “trans women are trans women and remain biological men.”
During her speech, Elliot also highlighted how gender ideology poses safeguarding risks, noting how such policies impact women and girls.
“While the majority of men are decent, kind and caring people, men present an inherent danger to women. The vast majority of sex offenders and violence perpetrators are men. It is completely understandable that women would want spaces for females only, especially vulnerable spaces like changerooms, toilets, and showers. It is absolute insanity that we have a law that allows a man to at 10am declare he’s a woman and by 11am be sharing changerooms and showers with young girls.”
On May 5, Elliot received a letter from the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner (ADC) informing her that they had received a complaint about her statements and had opened an investigation into her activities for “inciting hatred” under the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Act.
The complainant, who cannot be named during the ongoing investigation, also took issue with a statement made by Elliot in the context of male violence and the defense of women-only spaces, wherein she stated, “You cannot be raped with a penis if there is no penis present.”
In November, Tasmanian ADC Sarah Bolt ruled that Elliot’s case would proceed to a tribunal inquiry. In response, Elliot has been vocal about her situation on X (formerly Twitter), and has promised to appeal her case to the High Court should she be found guilty of inciting hatred.
“If it is found that I have incited hatred with these accurate, factual, accurate, and true statements, then I won’t be standing for that. And I know that the majority of Australians don’t believe the truth can be hate. So we will absolutely be taking it all the way to the High Court, because this is a massive overreach on our implied right to freedom of belief, freedom of expression, political communication, and we need to defend that,” Elliot told Ben Fordham Live.
Elliot also noted that the legal attack against her is being funded by taxpayers. “The threshold for inciting hatred needs to be really high. It can’t be just because someone is offended. What really gets me is that it’s our taxpayer money that is funding this attack on freedom of speech.”
However, Elliot is expected to pay her legal fees out of her own pocket, and is crowdfunding to cover costs. In the event of a ruling against her and an appeal to the High Court, Elliot has said she estimates the process to cost $100,000.
In addition to the litigation, Elliot says she’s also been experiencing harassment from her colleagues for criticizing gender identity ideology. In a video she shared to X in October, Elliot described how she had been singled out for her views.
“Over the past several months, I’ve been copping some pretty heavy bullying by some of the Hobart City Councllors, and collectively as a council. You hear the Hobart City Council talking a lot about inclusion, diversity, and being welcoming and kind… But inclusion is welcomed if you agree with their thinking. If you don’t agree, then you are heavily excluded and targeted and bullied,” she said.
Elliot went on to explain that she does not believe that humans can change sex, and that women and girls are entitled to single-sex spaces and sports.
During one meeting, the Deputy Lord Mayor Councilor Helen Burnet put forward a motion that the council write to three different organizations to complain about Elliot. The councilors wrote to the Integrity Commission, the Anti-Discrimination Commission, and local government officials to request action be taken against Elliot over a series of posts she made on X.
“We had a training session from a local organization, and I questioned some of the details that were in their fact sheet. Some of the details I found quite concerning, for example, statements that, ‘Trans women are not dominating women’s sport.’ I disagreed with that and tweeted some pictures of trans women playing in women’s soccer, and it’s happening globally,” Elliot said.
“In the fact sheet we had, they also tried to say that because black women are women, trans women are women. And I found that really quite a disturbing statement, quite racist and far from the truth.”
The fact sheet presented during the diversity training session, run in September by Working It Out Tasmania, also argued that trans-identified males do not pose a risk in female-only spaces.
“There is very little evidence of women’s spaces being secretly infiltrated by people with criminal motives, eg, sexual assault. Nearly every story that has emerged in the media or research regarding this has been disproven or discredited,” the document stated.
Elliot further revealed that she had been sent a letter by Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Helen Burnet chastising her for her views.
“You have consistently spoken out against transgender people and have on the public record refuted that transgender women are women,” the letter read. At Burnet’s request the city council asked the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner to consider that Elliot had, in their view, breached the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1998, which was amended in 2019 to include the subjective category of gender identity, but does not presently provide legal protections on the basis of biological sex.
Elliot has said she has received a flood of supportive messages from constituents. In September, a small demonstration was held outside of Hobart City Council Town Hall, wherein protesters called on the Deputy Mayor to “call off the witch hunt” against Elliot.

Glaring at Elliot as he waltzed through the room, Genevieve remained by the window, anticipation of her questioning filling her with anxiety, but not more than the fact that the rest of the French court were being held in the dungeon like animals, including Cedric. "We did not ask for this, Elliot." she said, sighing as she turned to look at him, pacing back and forth as they remained stuck in one room, treated comfortably and yet subjecting them to more anguish because of the position they'd been placed in. "We didn't ask for any of this, and now there is nothing we can do. All of this... it's practically a death sentence in itself,"
@thcrnedthrones | Elliott and Genevieve, The Orleans' Apartments Post Mini Plot Drop
"Cushy." Elliott utters with a dry, taunting smirk. Taking a quick glance about the apartment, before turning his gaze to the fresh tea and pastries. The would-be King of Spain settles between the cushions of the plus chair, staring intently at his cousin. In times of hardship, this is his blessing and curse - an easy approach to all things. "Sure beats a dungeon, wouldn't you say, Gen?" Yet for all his pokes and prods, there is a look of heeding at her direction. "You must be clever when you inevitably get questioned." He advises as he pours his tea. "The pendulum swings fast. Look at where my family is." A crown, once theirs, now torn in half... Then half, again, with the last Bonaparte's.

"You can not be sentimental and still be human," Genevieve quipped, quick to reply to her cousin as she furrowed her brow. "You may not be close to Martina the way that I am close to Aurora but you can't pretend that your sibling being gone doesn't affect you... that it's just business as normal like any other day." she said, holding her own even if she knew that he was mourning in his own way.
"And what is this grand task of yours that you cannot put off for a day or two to simply stand still and remember your sister? the crown?" she asked, understanding that the Bonapartes all wanted the crown and would do anything to keep it. "Do you think that your people will want a feeling-less machine for their next King?"
While the Orleans and the Bonaparte's shared in many things; that same tilt of the nose, a formidable lineage, and even a number of quirks. The nature of their families are not the same. Leveling his gaze with Genevieve, he sighs, with a hint of impatience. "We are unlike you and Rora. Us Bonaparte's... We are not so sentimental." Scoffing, he glances up at the ceiling. "And anyway, she would be the first to put sentiment aside for the greater task at hand." Martina was perhaps the most cutthroat of the trio. "I honor my sister by carrying out her work. Seeing it to the end." Finally, a bob of vulnerability. A small, shrug of uncertainty. "It is all I can do now."

She was graced with more patience than most, and she knew Elliot well enough to see that he was doing everything he could to evade her question and keep her from seeing him actually seem vulnerable. Raising an eyebrow at him she stubbornly crossed her hands over her chest, moving so that it was physically impossible for him to evade her, standing between him and his precious ledgers as he waved away any thought of him possibly being affected by recent events. "Really? Because I'm not fine, and any sane person would not be fine given what has happened just days ago," she said, moving so that he had to look at her, "You can pretend and grandstand all you want Elliot, but however distant you might have been, she was still your sister and that means something. You insisting that you're fine is more telling that you are not... far from it."
Slippery like water, and just as malleable. Elliott loses himself to vice for a fortnight. But inevitably, he readjusts. Creating space for his heartache, then growing around it. After all, there was a plan to be made, a crown to ensure he keeps. By the time Genevieve calls upon him, he is more stable spirits. Down to just a few drinks a night now, and thoughts consumed of next steps. "Gen," Elliott acknowledges, eyeing the movements of the many in attendance. Finally, he turns his shoulder, facing his cousin. The only one for whom no ire is held, no bitterness kept. "What kind of question is that?" He retorts, evasively, fingers brushing along the ledgers.
"I'm a survivor. You know that. I'm fine." And even if he is not, there is no room for that now. Eyeing his cousin, he catches the weathered look upon her face. "Can the same be said for you?"
