I know that it’s a common talking point nowadays to say, “movies are dying, TV is experiencing a creative renaissance,” which isn’t necessarily wrong. I just feel the statement should actually be, “movies are dying, TV and video games are experiencing a creative renaissance”.

Randomly thinking about the fact that the Hammer of Dawn was built in an arms race against another government, used to intimidate them into a ceasefire, and eventually used to burn 90% of the planet in an attempt to fight genetically created supersoldiers literally designed to evolve to survive generational conflict, which were, in turn, created from a failed attempt of curing a disease that affected what essentially equates to coal miners but for radiation, if that radioactive coal was a parasitic mycelium.

Aside from the sci-fi aspect that is Imulsion, including that it's a lifeless fungus theorized to be some kind of mutated manure of Riftworms (don't even get me started on those things), because Sera as a planet is just fucking bonkers in general and seemingly evolutionarily driven to obliterate itself, honestly this is fairly accurate to humanity as a species.
