oh hey i’ll make it a real post and official update to my bio when it happens but my partner and i are talking about getting engaged! its been a few years since i met him at work and she’s everything i ever couldve dreamed of and the world just like. slows down when im with her. hes amazing and my best friend and im enjoying every second when im with her. we’re still waiting on ring sizes (and money), and shes still on his parents insurance until 2028 so we’ll be keeping that as long as possible so no real wedding anytime soon but. i never sleep better than when im with him. she makes everything else just fade away and seeing her is like both a vacation and also like going home. i love it more than anything.

i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Zell's stories of being a wanderer travel as far as the rest of his more imposing reputation; the idea that he's a criminal on the run (not… 100% untrue), a vagabond and roving lover (also not 100% untrue he just didn't believe anyone else was as serious about him as he could have been about them) are romantic ideas that really catch on among the general public. He doesn't disabuse people of this, because he digs how cool it makes him sound and not like. A kinda pathetic loser who's terrified of commitment.

I've always interpreted this song in a playful tone, like the singer has no intention of actually leaving. He's teasing the idea, but knows he's already so far gone that there's no way he's finding anything better down the road; after a certain point, Zell gets the same way. It takes the right kind of person to keep him off the road.

YEAH! so turns out theres another voidfish that was the lil baby of the other one. now the little baby voidfish had erased the memories of all of the 'seven birds' (which you vaugely learn abt in crystal kingdom)

now the seven birds are

magnus, merle, taako, lucretia, davenport, barry bluejeans, and lup.

lup is taakos (canonically trans!!!!) twin sister

so just before stolen century they drink the babyvoidfish liquid and they get back their memories of their past 100 years (not lucretia shes the one who fed the infor to the bby voidfish)

the reason theyve all been alive for that long and things related to the relics and something called the light of creation and they were on this spaceship called the starblaster

but each year if they die or whatever when they leave the planet (which gets destroyed by The Hunger - the big bad) they all get transported back to the starblaster, the same as they were when they first left on this mission, the stolen century goes through a fee of these different years - using the powered by the apocolypse game system thing instead of dnd - but its nothing like too important to the story its more charavter things and you learn abt all of them and their relationships

now after they all finish remebering taako thretans to kill lucretia bc she made him forget lup

well taz as a whole is very a lot of stufd bc theres 7 stories that they have done (dust and commitment were like mini ones though so not as much as it seems) and ive only listened to balance, (most of) amnesty, commitment, and dust so

the first one they did is balance (my favourite) and probably the most popular tbh, its classic dnd but very lax on some rules and v story focused and oh boy its so fucking good, the pcs Taako, Magnus, and Merle (aka. tres horny boys) have to gather relics for the Buearou of Balance which is run by Lucretia

Minor payday 2 secret ending spoilers. So Jiro and Sangrés are so gay, right? Like what the fuck could possibly have been going through Sangrés' mind other than "I'm gonna fuck this yakuza dilf six ways to sunday" when he volunteered to accompany him on his super personal revenge mission against the Yakuza? And why did Jiro let him tag along if it was a super personal revenge mission? They 👏 are 👏 kissing 👏. Why does nobody talk about this? Did they get married in secret without the gang knowing and this is their honeymoon? Who proposed? I am screaming and crying Overkill, you can't just make a gayass plot point like that and just leave me in the dark.

The character whose behalf I'm specifically asking on rn is The Doctor (no not that one, whovians 😠) also known as the EMH who is from Star Trek Voyager (yes I already submitted Seven but I like this show ok) and whose full "name" (or as full as we're ever gonna get, they never revealed his serial number or even whether he has one) is 'the Emergency Medical Hologram Mark I assigned to the starship USS Voyager NCC-74656'. (Note that while 'NCC-74656' does contain numbers, that's the ship's name and would basically be like claiming Lauf from Iceland has a state of matter in his name.)

The 'Mark I' part doesn't come up as much tho so I'm willing to compromise and submit the Emergency Medical Hologram Mark II of the starship USS Prometheus NX-74913 instead who only appears in one episode (while The Doctor is a regular) but is just as much of a bitchy gayass but this time a twink so of course I also love him. The script refers to him as EMH2 and so does the most common character tag.

Note that The Doctor does technically try out many names over the course of the show (if you make me list them all I might cry) and does settle on one at the end but as of Star Trek Prodigy it appears he stopped using that one too and now just goes by title or function/model again so he doesn't like really have a name but the thing that's closest to being his full name does contain a number.

Sorry, got a bit rambly. Point of this question is whether stuff like model/generation number counts but I guess it's also somewhat about whether it's prominent enough in The Doctor specifically.

TELL ME ABOUT WILL'S AIRBENDING

ok taking a break from mike and firebending to talk about will's airbending a little bit. (also as an aside rori your tag "3. gayass" just made me fucking die YOU'RE SO RIGHT THOUGH AND YOU SHOULD SAY IT LOUDER)

i suppose i should talk to you about will and his airbending tattoos, huh?

@messrsbyler came up with a LOT of this as well so i am tagging them, because we've been throwing around ideas back and forth to make will's spirit world experience/trauma! so! freaking! awful! :D sorry will.

i think i've already established in some other asks or rambles about how will, of all the party members, loves his bending the most. whereas dustin is a nonbender, lucas hates that he doesn't do well in combat bending, and mike just can't seem to get his firebending down, will loves airbending. he's not a natural at it, per se, but he's good at it. and jonathan is a good teacher. he doesn't just teach will the techniques of airbending, but he also teaches them their heritage as airbenders. he talks about the air nomad genocide, about the culture that was lost and that avatar aang fought to rebuild after the 100 year war. the two of them try to adopt as many ancient air nomad traditions as they can as will learns from his brother. (side note. i am emotional thinking about jonathan not enjoying bending but knowing his brother does, so he goes to the library and researches as much as he can so he can do this well and can teach will all the beauty of their element that jonathan never got to experience)

so right before the story picks up (which, by the way, i'm placing them at about 14 years old at book 1 because ST S3 is getting deleted and the time skip probably is too, so this lands the kids are around 17 years old if each book is a year apart), will can be considered an airbending master and get his tattoos. and god, he's so excited about it. this is what connects him to this community other airbenders, to this rich history he's part of, to a heritage and a culture and an art form that he's proud of. and he'll get to have tattoos just like his brother too, and the party is so excited for him too.

will gets his tattoos right before his kidnapping—literally right before, as in his skin is still tender and still healing from the tattoos and barely a few days later, he's getting dragged into the spirit world and running for his life. and his bending is the lifeline that saves him because he wouldn't survive there without it.

that's when he runs into henry for the first time.

this right here is mostly nic, genius that they are! again, the whole spirit-y connection henry (and will actually) has is still being fleshed out, but for now, we're establishing a couple things: 1) will is dragged into the spirit world by spirits because of an already existing predisposition/deeper connection to spirits and 2) henry does some advanced, rare form of airbending on will in the spirit world that nearly kills him. as henry almost kills will in that, at the last minute, will instinctively taps into whatever deeper connection he has to the spirit world (helllooooo will byers power arc), pushing himself into a sort of avatar-like state (in that he's connected to the spirit world on a deeper level than most people are able to), complete with glowy spirity nonsense on his tattoos, like you would expect with the avatars.

except it's too much. will is doing this on pure instinct, and he's tapping into spiritual powers beyond his control, and his body can't handle it. so it's the result of that avatar-like state/those spiritual energy in will's body that ends up scarring him because he can't handle/control it.

and to make all of this worse?

henry's an airbender right? and he's got a strong spiritual connection too and has been there in the spirit world this whole time. and so the same type of tapping into the spirit world and its energy is something henry has done before. and the same thing happened to henry's airbender tattoos—so now will literally looks more like his abuser than he does other airbenders. his tattoos are scarred, and he can't look at them without thinking about that ordeal.

here’s the next part of my liveblog - this time, ch2′s investigation! i had a lot to say...sorry for having strong feelings about the silly anime game it will happen again.

-kiibo’s gayass scream when they threw him into the tank made me CACKLE, i love him but his suffering is always a little bit funny sorry

-”h-how...!? how...could this happen!? we...swore to each other, didn’t we? we swore we’d never let the killing game happen again. so that was all just a lie! you guys are liars! all you liars, apologize to ryoma! he believed the killing game wouldn’t happen anymore!” this is, iirc, the most extended reaction kokichi ever has to a body discovery. normally it’s just a line or two, but he goes for a whole monologue here! it makes sense - ryoma and him had a fairly friendly relationship. ryoma never calls him out for lying (just occasionally tells him not to be so loud) and once notes that kokichi, like him, seems like he doesn’t plan to survive the killing game. add that to the fact that kokichi SAW kirumi’s motive video, failed to show it to anyone, and spent a significant amount of time trying to distract her with “tag” last night, and it’s not hard to imagine one of the “liars” he’s so mad at for letting the killing game start up again is...well...himself.

-i’ve never understood why the monokuma files are physical tablets that get handed out to everyone, rather than just being files added to their monopads. seems like a waste of resources mr monokuma!!

-”i’ll take full responsibility. since you’re my sidekick, there’s nothing to worry about.” i have to admit, it’s pretty clever. it soothes shuichi’s anxieties about difficult decisions, which makes the trial go smoother, while simultaneously feeding kaito’s hero....thing.

-it’s time we talk about what the fuck shuichi’s fingers are doing in his thinking sprite. WHY DO THEY LOOK LIKE THAT.

-all of them wondering how himiko got out of the tank when there’s visible door hinges on the stairs is KILLING ME.
