Vyncent Sol, “Virion,” started racing as a street racer using the great’s bikes, but he wanted to do more and get into more professional racing. Met William because he was looking for a mechanic in order to enter a race, and they stuck with each other after that.

Ashe Winters, “Grimoire,” just recently started racing, and started out professionally. She had always been interested in it since her mother was a racer, but Mark didn’t want her to because her mom died in a crash. Met Dakota after he crashed into her backyard, and she tagged along with him to a race.

Summer Dileo, “Slinky,” strictly professional racer, though the name isn’t finalized. Haven’t finalized anything backstorywise for her lol, but her mechanic is Doug.

Xavier Gonzales, “X,” primarily a street racer, but does a few professional races for funsies. Basically like in canon, underground racing track where he met Jade.

The Mechanics !!

William Wisp, got super into mechanic work as a sort of escapism from Deadwood, and really got himself acquainted with the innards of David’s old bike. Moved to Rockfall and got a job at Rusty’s to afford a shitty apartment (because he refused to let David pay his rent) until he met Vyncent and finally got the mechanic job he had been looking for.

Dakota Cole, “DC,” started out as a mechanic for Kat, who was a street racer. He met Doug in this time period, too, and became close friends with him. Following an incident that resulted in Dakota being out of a track and out of a racer, he realized he wasn’t exactly living in a sustainable situation and called up Tide after putting Alaska in rehab. He wasn’t exactly able to find a new racer for a while, but after sneaking out of the house and taking freelance street racing jobs, he accidentally stumbled into Ashe’s yard after running from a street racing track got busted.

Doug, “Inferno,” used to be a street mechanic until aforementioned incident, then met Summer and started working as her mechanic. Briefly did a little racing with Jade, switching off which of them was racer or mechanic.

Jade, “Cantrip,” both racer and mechanic, does an assortment of street and professional, works as Xavier’s mechanic after meeting him doing street racing.

Share a weird fact/story about yourself with the class. I like to drive around rural areas and photograph old, sometimes abandoned locations in the dead of night. I have been literally chased out of towns by foot and by car on two separate occasions. The second time this happened, "See You Again" by Miley Cyrus came up on shuffle and that's the soundtrack my friend and I tore out of town to. Also every "guy" I've dated except for my most recent ex (who has big egg energy) is a lesbian now.

What does the color blue taste like? Creme brulee

What is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? The appalachian mountains of Tennessee in the middle of summer. There's kudzu everywhere. On the backroads, there were several old, dilapidated Baptist churches barely hanging to the side of the mountain. I wonder how many of them were still in use.

What is the stupidest thing you've ever done? Short version: my friend's house almost got broken into by this dude who'd been stalking us for months while we were home alone. Instead of calling the cops, we decided to confront him with a bow and arrow (me), a hatchet, and a baseball bat (him). The plan was that if it went badly, we would simply throw his corpse into one of the many lakes in the neighborhood and let the alligators eat his remains (this was Florida). Why? Because we were afraid of having our home-alone privileges revoked. Luckily for us all, the guy fucked off and we never saw him again.

Stupidest thing you've seen/heard someone else do/say? My ex thought that Jackalopes were real. Also, a nurse I was doing rotations with apparently thought that "Witness Protection" was for Jehovah's Witnesses.
